Graphics are not exactly great, control is a bit clumsy and enemies aren't really enjoyable. At least its a bit better than Resistance 1 :)

Buy SONY PLAYSTATION Resistance 2 for PS3 Now

I did not play this a few years ago when it came out, so I'm playing catch-up now. Great game and lots of fun. Graphics are good and the default set-up for controls are easy to manipulate. Great weapons, interesting Chimera enemy and story line is good as well. 3 different difficulty levels allows you to complete the story as quickly or as slowly as you wish. My girlfriend's son is 10 years old and REALLY enjoyed Resistance 1 and 2 as well. I already bought Resistance 3 and can't wait to get to it!

I first bought this game when it launched, I then trade it in so I could raise a little money for a trip with some friends and now I have bought it again because I missed it and wanted to try it out on the hardest level in anticipation of the 3rd installment coming out in a few months.

the Resistance 2 campaign lasts about 8-15 hours, dependent on difficulty and death frequency. The story is ok, but portions of it don't seem to make much sense. There aren't many unique weapons, but an alternate fire has been included in all weapons. The game plays like most modern FPS console games w/ taking cover to regenerate health, checkpoint saves, and non-random encounters, giving very little replay value.

multiplayeri only played the co-op, but it seemed difficult to join competitive games. When playing split screen co-op graphical detail decreases noticeably. there is a serious bug in 2 of the maps that result in uncompleteable objectives, that occurs sometimes. It is fun enough to play. Upgrades are unlocked through gameplay, and there are multiple objectives semi-randomly selected per level.
