I would not recommend this cable at all. I purchased this cable in order to hook up a PS3 to a Samsung 40" LCD TV. The highest setting I could get though was 1080I. I subsequently purchased another cheaper HDMI cable from Amazon and had no issues at all getting set up at 1080P.

Here is the cable I bought that worked:

"no such thing as a better cable" is a misnomer. HDMI cables are rated by the bandwidth capacity (commonly known as bitrate per second), the higher the rate, the more info it can pass digitally in a given timeframe. Why is this important? Because, as games become faster, and higher-bit color graphics emerge, HDMI cables will need the additional bandwidth capacity to smoothly transmit the digital signal from game/video source to your T.V. Emerging technologies, such as 12, 16, and 18-bit color, and "lossless audio" will become standard in the near future.

There are some HDMI cables capable of 3.4 Gbit/s, which can more than handle today's 1080P/12-bit color requirements. Some manufacturers, like Monster Cable, claim 10.2 Gbit/s with their M1000HD series HDMI cable, but it's really 3.4 Gbit/s cable multiplied by it's channels (3).

Current sources, such as HD DVD, BluRay and the current crop of PS3 games are adequately served by the HDMI cable listed here. However it won't be long before a "better cable" is required to handle the latest technology. You don't have to sweat it, for the moment.

This cable did not work with any of my equipment. I ordered it with my PS3 to connect directly to my TV. I had no signal at all. Also tried from my HD cable box to the TV and had no better luck.

I tried my PS3 with another HDMI cable and had no problems.

Don't buy this cable.

I commented fairly extensively on HDMI cable technology about 16 months ago. Some people are having a problem with this particular cable. I've found through doing several hook-ups of friend's and family's systems that they were usually doing something wrong in the hook-up process. Typically, after installing the HDMI cables they failed to change the source input/ouput to HDMI on their TV's or game consoles, or incorrectly matched the source resolution that best suits their TV. It is important to sync the hardware so it's all on the same page.

That being said, I won't defend this cable. I don't use it. I found Blue Jeans Cable to be perfectly suited for my 1080p setup. I use Belden bonded-pair HDMI 1.3a cable (apx. $4/ft) throughout my system. Moving to 1.3a or better will help to futureproof your system. And any decent HDMI cable will operate your PS3, so you don't have to buy this one.

Although this seems to be a fairly well constructed cable for the price, it does not appear to be 1.3 compliant. Avoid the hype that it says it's for PS3. If your TV requires an HDMI 1.3 compliant cable, you will not get better than 1080i, or in my case, garbled video. Nowhere on the packaging could I find the spec, even on the MFR's web site.

It protects well against sweaty hands, dirt, and in case u drop ur controller. but for mine, i had to cut pieces of it off in order to use the joy stick more freely. at times when using the joy stick part of the controller, it would get in contact of the silicone pad slowing the action down. but its worth it for the price.

These skins work great. They add a little bit of bulk to the controllers, which is great if you have big hands. They also keep the little one's greasy fingers from getting all over the controller and protect them a tiny bit if they get dropped. My only gripe is that, on the black one, you cannot see which controller you are assigned to because the lights are covered. You can see through the clear one but not the black one. I resolved this by cutting out a little rectangle with a razor.

Overall, a great product for the price.

This is the ultimate fighting stick and truly brings the arcade experience home. The sheer size and weight of the stick brings home the point that this is the king of all arcade stick controllers.

It is designed in collaboration with TAITO to recreate the TAITO "VEWLIX" Arcade cabinet. The stick uses authentic Sanwa stick and buttons and has other functions classic to the Real Arcade Pro. series like the turbo and the stick control toggle function. It also has a non-slip surface on the entire bottom and comes with an additional option board that you can mount the controller on to further enhance your stability.

The main feature for this controller has to be the fact that you can easily access the internal of the controller by simply unscrewing 3 screws. Maintenance and customization is a breeze to any other controllers out there.

Overall, this controller addresses all the players wants and needs and is a masterpiece of a arcade stick controller.

A must buy for any player serious for an authentic arcade experience.

GENERAL:

I purchased the stick when it was on sale here for $65 off the list price and it was worth every penny.

I've used several joysticks (Hori Fighting Stick 2, HRAP3, MadCatz SE (with full Sanwa) and TE Round 1 FightSticks) and the VLX would be my weapon of choice any day. When using it on a table the rubber bottom ensures the stick will not move. The wooden option board is a nice touch as well if you want to mount your stick to it, but I find simply placing the stick on the board works well. Note the stick does not have any protruding rubber feet to potentially interfere with lap use. Lap use may not be as comfortable compared to other sticks due to the weight (12 lbs) but you'll get used to it. In comparison the HRAP3 weighs 5.7 lbs.

LOOKS:

The VLX is the most beautiful mass produced stick I've seen yet. While most of the black parts of the stick are matte the rest provides a nice glossy contrast. The top art is a nice metallic red with some mirror accents and you really need to either see the VLX in person or watch some videos to see how light interacts with the glossy parts.

SOUND:

The sound of the joystick and buttons are much more hollow when used and that's due to the sheer physical size of the housing. Not only is this much wider than the Round 1 TE FightStick but it is taller as well. The hollow sound doesn't bother me though.

USAGE:

Let me start by mentioning one of my favorite features: the angled palm rest. I was afraid I wasn't going to like it since I've been using the Round 1 MadCatz TE Stick with the flat surface, but I was able to make an immediate adjustment to the angled palm rest and love it. Using this stick feels much more natural to me.

The joystick (JLF) and buttons (OBSF) are your typical Sanwa variety and the general consensus on them is they are high quality arcade parts that can take a beating and are great to use. If you've ever used these Sanwa parts or own any variety of a MadCatz TE stick then you'll know what they feel like: the joystick is responsive and the buttons are sensitive.

I've opened the stick to replace the L1 and L2 buttons with the included button plugs and everything inside the stick is cleanly wired and organized. I put the 2 extra buttons in the button holders found inside the stick in case any of my main 6 have issues.

The USB cable storage compartment is large enough for the 3m cable to easily fit. I placed the included cleaning cloth in the back of the storage compartment to clean the surface here and there.

Transporting the stick has been an issue due to the irregular large size and fortunately Hori released a travel bag made to fit the VLX. Unfortunately they're charging a hefty price ($39.99) and since their site is the primary store selling it the shipping cost pushes the bag close to $50. For $50 you could almost get the HRAP3!

CONCLUSION:

To me this is the king of joysticks. It reminds me of the times I spent playing SF4 in Japanese arcades. At the price point this is a joystick for enthusiasts, collectors, and those who aren't hesitant to spend. However if you get this joystick you won't regret it.

Buy Real Arcade Pro: 3 Premium VLX Now

I've played in arcades in Japan, and until now, I have yet to feel anything close to the actual feel of the arcade machines.

Then a friend recommended this to me, and now I recommend this to all of you.

This fighting stick feels like heaven in your hands. The resistance of the joystick feels loose enough to not have to put your whole body weight into moving, but not light enough to input more commands than you want to.

The buttons have the right amount of spring to them, and the layout feels very natural to play on.

It's a great feeling to have this behemoth in your hands.

CONS:

The only thing that really bothers me is how big the stick is; it's roughly almost 2 feet in length. Also, the joystick and the buttons seem rather close for how long the stick itself is.

Over-all, it's a fantastic piece of equipment.

Read Best Reviews of Real Arcade Pro: 3 Premium VLX Here

HRAP vlx is by far one of the most sturdiest, heaviest arcade joystick I've ever played with. With the addition to the sanwa parts that come with the joystick, feels like you're really in the arcades. I've been playing fighting games with this joystick, and I usually play aggressively, therefore my motions using the stick is pretty forceful, however, no matter how much force I put in, It is still extremely sturdy and strong and doesn't move as much. This product is definitely recomended if you're a die hard arcade fan and want the full experience of being in the arcades at your home.

The only thing that I see as something to look out for is that when pressing the buttons, it does feel slightly hollow compared with the MadCatz tournament edition fightstick. I believe it is because the box itself has a lot of space inside and the top is slightly thin. Yet this feel is really subjective, I personally don't mind it. Especially when Im focusing on beating the bosses, I don't even really notice it while i'm furiously trying to win a game. The price is pretty expensive too. All in all this is a great joystick and I do recommend this product for those die hard arcade gamers!

man, pretty much what all other reviewers said about this stick is all true. it feels like i'm playing with silk. sooooo goood!

and that just made my disappointment THAT much worse when i came to find out that sony has yet to (and probably never will) release updates to get it to function with ps2 backwards compatibility. i have a ridiculous library of ps2 fighters, and that was one of the deciding factors on getting this stick.....

again. THIS STICK WILL NOT WORK WITH THE PS2 PORTION OF BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE PS3'S.

on the other hand, it DOES work wonderfully with everything else! playstation 1 games running on ps3 ARE compatible and play amazingly with it. and you can usb it into a pc and most things run fine with no other software involved (at least on win 7)!!!

the few problems i had (specifically with "super street fighter 4 ae") were all solved by using "x360ce"(search google. its easier than it looks to use it). any other issues are solved with "joy2key".

i went into this purchase expecting that people over-exaggerated how good it is. they weren't. they were under-exaggerating. within five minutes, i actually knew i was better at fighters than i had ever been before. what you attempt to input into this thing generally is what gets read by it. wanna do 90 dragon punches in a row in your sleep (on your first try, when you used to have trouble pulling even ONE off in the heat of the moment before)? no problem!!! i would compare "coming off a Mad Catz Street Fighter IV FightStick into THIS CONTROLLER" to "selling your old run down station wagon and getting a brand new sports car".

as sad/mad as i was that i couldn't play my ps2 fighters(and i was REALLY mad), after using it, i almost could care less. this controller is mad expensive, but if you can afford it (and don't care/are willing to overlook the lack of ps2 compatibility), then it's more than worth it! the fact i have no choice but to give it a perfect review even though it lacked an important (to me) feature should definitely say something about the product (and in hori's defense, sony is entirely responsible for the lack of functionality.)

(yes, i'm sure a custom made stick is probably better, but this might as well be one. and heck, it seems so easy to mod and repair, if you dislike something you can just change it!)

The most compelling aspect to this game, for me, is the detailed progression you make if you create your own head coach character. It very much has a RPG feel to me, because the choices I make with my progression directly affect the way my team performs on Sunday. I'll highlight the best things I like about this game:

1. The Draft. Throughout the season you send out your scouts to evaluate the various prospects. Want to concentrate on an overlooked small-school guy? You can. Then you bring guys in for individual workouts to unlock more player information so you can decide if they are a good fit. Then you go through the draft, trading up or down to get the guy you want. It's exciting to put in the work and snag a potential superstar with a late-round draft choice.

2. The level of detail and control. This game accounts for EVERYTHING that a head coach deals with. Player attitudes. Injuries. Offensive/Defensive schemes. You can create your own plays. You can call the plays in the actual game. You deal with signing free agents and resigning players. Will you progress through the draft, or sign big free agents and pay their hefty price? You can hire/fire assistant coaches. I could go on and on. If you are a huge football fan, you can pore over the numbers all day, and because you build your team from the ground up, you get heavily invested in the outcomes.

3. The out-of-game announcers add to the narrative. The stories that Adam Schechter tells about the potential draftees really add to the realism, about the off season antics of the Heisman hopeful or the sleeper RB at a tiny school. It's great.

This game is not perfect. There are some bugs. But overall, it's an amazingly addictive game with a ton of potential. If you are a hardcore football fan, get this game, take control of your hometown team, and lead them to the Super Bowl!

Let me first say that this game does have some issues, but EA put out a patch that fixed some major problems (2 min. offense and injuries). Could the game have been better? Of course, but I find the game very fun and totally addicting. If you are a diehard football fan I can't see how you wouldn't like this game. If you feel the need to control the players every move then play Madden 09! (Common sense goes a long way in life) Just like real NFL coaches, you have to suffer through some dropped passes and fumbles that your over paid players put you through. The game is a little slow in reacting to your button inputs, but you get used to that. It's not a button sensitive game like Madden, so it doesn't matter. The longer you play the more you understand why certain things happen. Your head coach (I chose to create my own) and your staff all have skills that they either already have or that they need to learn over time. You earn "skill points" by winning games. You develop these skills over time and it truly affects everything on the field. As far as graphics go, I think it really depends on what view you are using during the actual game. You can change views easily with R2. The "cinematic" view looks very good, but I use "overhead" also to really see the x's and o's in action. I highly recommend actually playing each game instead of simming them. You learn more about your teams' strengths and weaknesses that way, and more importantly you can increase your teams' "play knowledge". This is a crucial part of the game. Each play is either "unlearned, learned or mastered". Your players' success has everything do do with their knowledge of the plays. My only real complaint about this game now is the fact that once you start a game you cannot save it until it's over. Lastly, I would suggest you increase the skill level slider (for both your team and the AI) all the way up on the running backs. The standard default for the running backs have them doing some really random and unskilled things.

Buy NFL Head Coach 09 Now

Playing for several hours a day, a season should take you a couple weeks minimum. This is not an action filled game. While there are some flaws, you definitely get a feeling of accomplishment after putting together the right team and going on an extended winning streak without cheating. This is especially true if you start with a bad team, like I did with the 49ers. I almost got fired in my first season, but I saved it by winning a couple games at the end and finishing the otherwise disappointing season with some flair. Don't get discouraged. This is an addicting game if you give it a chance.

Read Best Reviews of NFL Head Coach 09 Here

You really must be a die hard football fan to enjoy this game. I can see the potential for a limited crowd to enjoy this, but it requires quite a bit of patience and dedication to become fully involved. The actual game day coaching is so painfully boring that it almost feels like they focused all their energy on behind the scenes stuff. I was hoping for a more interactive experience when calling plays, but it gets so repetitive and robotic that it can put you to sleep. There is no excitement to be found anywhere on actual game day. I suppose the nuts and bolts of coaching are realistic here but calling plays should be the most fun part, and here it is very lacking. Even the crowd noise seems built to make you sleepy, it's kind of a low humming noise like watching golf on television. A definite improvement over 2008, but still a ways to go.

Want NFL Head Coach 09 Discount?

Jury is still out on this game for me. I've owned the game for a week now. Created my own coach and it gives you a rating on the level of difficulty for that particular team. You can start in the 2008 preseason or being at training camp. I always elect the offseason. Contract situations are all actual. However unlike the current NFL rules when you make a trade you still get a cap-hit.

You have to be very careful with your Cap because during the offseason EVERY freeagent will be presented to you to get in on the bidding for. If your team has a lot of needs the temptation is to sign everyone that fits that need. Likewise you have NO idea what it's going to cost you to sign draft picks AND no idea what it's going to cost to sign players to fill your roster just before camp starts. The GM will sign undrafted rookies and free agents to fill your roster before camp as long as you have enough Cap space.

Fatigue plays a major factor with your players and I think age has a bearing on it.

After each game you go through a normal practice week and are presented with items you can work on. However, you are not necessarily given items to help you learn and develop new plays in your playbook. This season I have a lot of rookies and rookies at the same positions are given the same plays to work on. I've even worked on the halfback one day and the O-line the next and the plays were mostly the same. How successful you are depends on what plays are unlearned, learned or mastered. On an unlearned play the guys are like well, "where do I go, what's my assignment." Even if it is learned each player has a level of knowledge of that play. There's even a percentage for Mastered. The QB may have it mastered but the wideout may not. So practice is critical. However, you are not necessarily going to get to practice the plays you want to run in the game. That needs to be fixed.

The first few times you try the game the learning curve is very high. Not that I don't know the sequence of events and the variables in coaching and team building; it's more the structure of the game; and what works and doesn't work.

One thing I'm getting tired of rather quickly is emotional reaction. Too frequently during a game your are asked to give a calm or excited reaction to a particular play. Your reaction impacts your rating with everyone from fans, media, owner, staff and players. It breaks focus on what's going on on the field. And because the game as one reviewer said is not very fast when you press a button it adds to the frustration. I'm ready to call the next play.

I miss my office from the original version. I miss the staff meetings. I want advice from my people like in the original. That's the way it is in the real world. In this version it seems your staff only have one function and that is to develop and impact the performance of your players by how much skill and special skills they possess. After wins your coaches earn skill points that you can spend to acquire new skills and advance skills you and they already have. How skilled you or your assistant coaches are impacts your players.

I want this game to be great. I want it to be a challenge. I'm thinking it might wind up being too much of a headache to enjoy.

One last thing. If this is true then I'd be done with the game. It almost seems like the outcome of each game is predetermined. In some games it seems like I'm dominating then all of a sudden my guys can't do anything right. Up by 21 then can't move the ball or stop the opponent. Then move the ball and fumble at the opponent 10 as your going down to win. Another senario, can't do anything right at all and get blown out of the building. Whatever you call won't work. It's as if the system says the score of this game is going to be 31-21 and there is nothing you can do about it. You get your 21 points early then the system says that's it.

I've spent years searching and experimenting with different games to play with my "non-gamer" wife: Dr Muto, Jax and Daxter, Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet and Clank, etc., and the Simpsons is the best by far.

While each of the above titles has something to offer, they all ended up with my wife getting frustrated by having to "grind out" a particular level over and over and over again from the beginning until we get it right. Aside from the time trials, the Simpsons is very forgiving in terms of character death, and lets you continue in the level from where where you died most often without any game interruption or restarting at all.

The "episodes" are challenging enough to hold your interest through the use of humor and standard puzzles, and short enough that you can play for an hour and actually feel like you've accomplished something. This has always been a key area in holding my wife's interest in a game, because if she walks away feeling like she wasted her time... forget it that game's a goner.

So, if you've been looking for a PS3 game that you get your non-gamer spouse to play with you I think you ought to give the Simpsons a go.

It's kind of odd, a few months before The Simpsons Game was released, I was reading previews all over the place about how everyone thought this was not only the best Simpsons game ever made, but also a contendor for game of the year. I guess that the demo versions they played, they must have assumed that the few problems it has would be fixed, because while the game is indeed great, it does have some glaring problems.

First and foremost is the camera angle. It wants to get in your way quite often, and it can really tick you off when you're doing some of the mor eprecise platforming parts of the game. Honestly, EA is a pretty respectable company with a lot of talent under their leadership, they could have come up with a better camera for the game... one that doesn't remind me of the crappy camera angles mosr 3D games had in the mid 90's. Some people have said this game has sloppy controls. Not really, it actually controls really well, it's just the buggy camera that makes it hard to make precise jumps or get yourself oriented in the 3D world. Another complaint I have is the animation during the cut scenes varies from horrible to amazing. Playing this on my HDTV makes the game look wonderful, especially during cut-scenes. BUT... from time to time the animation is horribly drawn. I don't know if they were trying to recapture how the characters looked during the Tracy Ullman days, if so, that is cool as hell, but they don't really look like the Tracy Ullman characters, so I'm left wondering if from time to time cheap animation was used to save moeny or something. Either way, no big deal as it doesn't occur often.

Does all of the above make this a bad game? Well, my rating for it should clue you in to an answer of "no". Camera issues aside, The Simpsons Game is pure, simple, mindless FUN! The game makes fun of itself, of other games and is full of innuendos that fans of the show will eat up. Oh, and the game is hilarious, much more so than a majority of the new episodes of the show even! If you're a fan of old video and arcade games, you'll love how some of the gameplay mimics games like Everquest, Frogger, Grand Theft Auto and more. There's just so much fun to be had here, that aside from the camera issues I'd consider the game nearly perfect and a must buyu for anyone a fan of the show. The humor and fun-factor is so great, I find myself playing just a bit more to listen to various character's comments, or to see just one more funny cut-scene.

I've heard rumors that you can unlock the old Simpsons arcade game during the course of playing this game. I'm really hoping so, that would be the icing an an already half-eaten-by-Homer cake.

I've been a huges Simpsons fans since a kid and have played most of the Simpsons games from NES Simpsons games to Hit & Run. This one may be the best from the sheer fact that the graphics are the best to date and the voices are the actual cast of the Simpsons. Graphics for the PS3 version are very good, but they could have pushed it a little further.

Animation scenes are also brilliant. Plays & looks well on my 61" 1080P TV. Also you can play 2 players for all the missions which is sort of fun. This game is a little too hard for little kids but ages seven and up should enjoy it.

I'm a busy 40 year old who was looking for a game that I could jump into for 20 minutes before bedtime for some relaxation. The Simpson's game fits the bill for the PS3.

The good:

-balanced gameplay-not too easy or hard

-good puzzles

-well written story with lots of 'inside' gags

-cell shaded graphics looks just right for the Simpson's world

The bad:

-Several of the cut scenes had some PG language that disqualifies it from being a kids game (can't turn them off).

-people under 30 probably won't get some of the gameplay gags. Not to ruin the surprises but there are some 80's arcade homage's to be found.

All in all i expected more from the Simpsons. Granted, they haven't had a real good video game since the old arcade ones, but i still though this would be the one to turn it around.

I read good reviews of it, but when i bought it and played about half way through i got tired of it, and haven't had the desire to put it back in.

The graphics seem like they're not using the PS3 to it's full potential, the controls are surprisingly sloppy, and the cell-shading can make the terrain trickier than it should be.

The stories and characters are funny, i'll say that much. It's a very well written game. But hours of sub-par gameplay can bring it down.

The shoddy controls and the semi-decent graphics make the simplest of things (Say jumping off the edge of something to get a secret item) impossibly hard. Seriously, there are a lot of packages you need to find for each character, the hard part should be finding them, not jumping a hundred times to make sure you land on it properly.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance lets you play with a team of your favorite superheroes. Choose from Wolverine, Spider-Man, Thing, Storm, and many others!

You can sort of consider this a Diablo style game with a much more upbeat style. You are one of four characters on the screen at any time, and can quickly flip through them. You go through the rooms hacking, slashing, slashing, and then hacking some more. Along the way you grab colored orbs and glowing coins to help you level up your own character and unlock goodies.

It's disappointing that at the beginning your four starting characters are Spider-Man, Thor, Wolverine, and Captain America. As much as I like those guys, couldn't ONE of them have been female? Still, it's only maybe 10 minutes later that you get to the "team switching" spot and can begin to design your own team. They're not stingy with the characters. Right from this point you can immediately begin to use spider-woman, deadpool, iceman, colossus, elektra, human torch, iron man, thing, luke cage, invisible woman, storm, mr. fantastic, ms marvel, and moon knight. There's also other unlockable characters that you can get as you go.

Each character can be levelled up to gain new abilities and outfits. You can choose characters that "traditionally" (in comic book stories) work together, and they will actually know to do combos in gameplay.

The characters personalities really shine through in the cut scenes. Wolverine is stand-offish and a bit arrogant. Spiderman cracks jokes the entire time. Captain America feels he's in charge. I realize that it would be IMPOSSIBLE for them to have redone the cut scenes for every single combination of characters that you could have done! So again, I wish they had a woman in the set :) Maybe kick out Spidey and his incessant comments ...

The graphics are rather good, from the flickering flame to the shadows and reflections. This isn't a game of subtleties, though. No textured fabrics or flower petals here. Everything is shiney and plasticky.

On the sound side, it's a comic book adventure. You have incredibly cliched dialogue given by over-the-top voices, and lots of booming going on. It's to be expected.

The storyline is also a traditional comic book story but heck, we all grew up with them! You're saving the world. Depending on how well you play, you achieve that mission to different degrees. They did a great job getting you to replay it over and over again in order to unlock the best ending you can.

I really give the game great kudos for their multiplayer and online options. If you're playing at home, you can easily co-op in four people, one for each character, and go to town. There aren't many games where four people can easily have great fun playing together. For online, the same is true you can really have a lot of fun conquering levels as a wide range of characters, interacting with players all over the world.

This isn't a heavy thinking game, and it doesn't involve complex concepts. Instead, it's a game that adults can easily play with kids, and that can give you a few hours of fun relief from the real world. Well recommended!

Hey, I admit, this may not be the game if you are looking to highlight the grand capabilities of your PS3. But if you wanna have some good, old fashioned rock'em, sock'em with Spider Man, Captain America, Thor, and lots of other classic Marvel heroes, then this is the game for you. If you have played either of the X-Men legends games you get the idea of what this games' set up is like. It is mission based as the heroes battle Doctor Doom and a legion of other villians.

Don't get me wrong, the graphics are an upgrade from the X-Men Legends graphics, but don't harness the full capaability of the PS3, which I doubt we will see harnessed by any game until sometime next year.

The story of the game is long and will provide hours of fun and entertainment. To be honest, I feel that some of the other reviewers here have been a bit harsh. Stop expecting too much, too soon from your PS3. Better and better game will come, just as they did with PS2, you just have to be patient and in the meantime, have some fun. Ultimate Alliance will provide you with that fun.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance is a great game, but only when you have some people to play with you. The cooperative mode can be fun, but I definitely prefer the arcade mode because each player is given a score afterward and this will give you bragging rights if you score higher than your friends.

However, whether or not you have friends to play with you or not, this game is ultimately a button mashing experience while looking at your favorite Marvel character do fancy moves. For ages, game developers have not put too much effort into most of the superhero games because they are franchises that sell themselves, and this game was a perfect example of it.

If you have friends that are willing to play with you, give this game a try, it will be fun at times and tedious sometimes as well.

If you don't mind playing alone, you can give this a try too... but for the most part when I was playing alone I was left with an empty experience of button mashing.

I'd say this game is rentworthy, but not worth buying unless you're a Marvel fanatic.

This is the type of game you beat once and you can't go through again, it's really a one hit wonder. You play it once, and you never touch it again... even with hard mode on the game felt the same all over.

Greatest Hits Version Anyone? This Price is ridiculous. i don't want to knock the game with a bad rating, but were talking about a 6yr. old game! On a current gen console! I get it! people our going to buy this game. keep it in the shrink wrap. put it on a mantle, encase it in glass and just...look at it, right? Because what would be the point of playing it? it's a video game. C'Mon people, these aren't star wars action figures from the '80's. Get Real!

I really expected more out of a game featuring all my favorite Marvel superheroes, and was kind of disappointed. It's fun to play through once, but aside from changes to background scenery, the action gets a little repetitive. Almost zero replay value, but decent graphics and game controls.
