Unfortunately, there were no recent reviews of Lord of the Rings: Conquest when I bought two copies to explain that Electronic Arts stopped supporting online play for this title back in March of 2010. More dissappointing, Amazon continues to advertise that it does have online play and none of the vendors add a note of warning. It also appears after a lot of investigation and trial and error, that there is no way to even use multi-player over a LAN so you can use your own monitor. Co-optimus states that it still has this feature, but I think they have not updated their information either. Without this feature, the game becomes practically worthless, at least to me (and to many others if you google the situation). Now I have to deal with trying to get a refund for a misrepresented product. Here's my warning to you.

Pandemic, the maker of Star Wars Battlefront has given its familiar engine a facelift and have taken it to Middle-Earth. To be honest I was never really a big fan of Star Wars: Battlefront having been more accustomed to the solitary lightsaber battles of the Jedi Knight series but at least to me the Battlefront concept just seems to work significantly better in the Lord of the Rings universe. I downloaded the demo and couldn't wait to play the full game because it's just fun as hell.

In the Singleplayer campaign you can pick your character class: Warrior, Mage, Archer or Scout and hack and slash your way across the battlefield by rallying your troops in basic "Capture the Flag" strategic objectives or destroying specific tactical goals to achieve victory for your armies. Occasionally you can play a character from the movies such as Aragorn or Gandalf depending on which character class you have currently selected when more "experienced" reinforcements are called upon. The nice thing is that you can change your character class mid-game so you are not always restricted to certain classes/abilities though it is prudent to know when to select specific classes for certain campaigns. For example, a Scout may be called in because of his ability to render himself invisible to sneak past enemy lines, or an Archer would be better suited for ranged attacks. The Mage is very powerful with his staff and can smack down hordes of enemy orcs in close melee or can fire ranged lightning strikes, toss fireballs, and heal wounded troops to bring reinforcements back up to full strength. The Warrior is very powerful with a sword in hand for close action melee and can quickly plow through enemy hordes with a spinning firesword or throw axes for ranged attacks.

The graphics are stunning in HD along with Howard Shore's awesome thematic score playing in the background and Hugo Weaving (Elrond) narrating the game really puts you into the action of the epic battles of Middle Earth first hand.

The Multiplayer campaign allows you to connect with up to 16 players or you can just do a two-player splitscreen co-op with a buddy. You can also choose your side, Good or Bad and change the fate of the ring by destroying Frodo and the Shire by fighting for Saruman's forces, the Lord of the Rings equivalent of turning to the Dark Side. And now you can download expansion packs through the Playstation store to add other characters/classes such as Boromir, Arwen and Gothmog as well as new campaign arena maps like Weathertop and Amon Hen.

This game is mandatory for Lord of the Rings fans and even for the casual players who just want to hack it out, I'd recommend the no-nonsense Instant Action and Deathmatch campaigns. Conquest easily blows away EA's titles, even though I enjoyed playing Lord of the Rings The Two Towers on PS2 which I went back and breezed through again for old-time's sake, Conquest makes it look like a warm-up exercise by comparison. The Battle of Helm's Deep in Conquest is similar to Two-Towers but vastly improved for next-gen gameplay. Plus you get to battle at Minas Tirith, Isengard, and all the way to the Black gates of Mordor in the War of the Ring campaign.

Lord of the Rings: Conquest is one game to rule them all.

I think this game achieves most of what it promised to be. It's fair to call it a 'hack n slash' game. I'm a big fan of the Star Wars: Battlefront series. So far as that goes, you can see how Pandemic has started with that system and progressed it in a few ways, and this, in the LOTR setting, seems like the next logical step. Also, it is a lot of fun, and creating the dark storyline accounting for what would have happened if Frodo failed was quite enjoyable. So I enjoyed both campaigns, particularly the splitscreen with my brother. Pros of the game for me would be playing as just about everyone from the Naz-gul and Balrog to Aragorn and Ents. Also the evil storyline. And the mindless hack and slashing is quite a trip. Just fun to wreak havok and go to town on a bunch of enemies. One big con for me was that it doesn't tally your kills or really keep track of your deaths like Battlefront did. I really like saying to a friend after a weak performance, 'where the heck were you on that one' or if I underachieved to try all the harder to bounce back the next time. And no mentions of 'most kills', or 'most accurate' after the level is over. I really missed that not being there. Also playing as some of the heroes was not all it could have been. It was great but some like the Balrog and Ents are destructive, but so slow I think a lot of destruction and mayhem are unfortunately left on the table. Maybe there is no way to fix that, I don't know. Overall, I thought it was easy to pick up and play. It gave clear goals to focus on, and I think it was a logical progression in the series. I was not sure how they would adapt Battlefront from a shooting style game to a hand to hand style, but I think Pandemic pulled it off. After kills you can pick up small health increases (bigger for bigger kills) and a second meter that builds to unleash more vicious attacks. People complained about no unlockables, which is a valid point, but with enough good content in the game from the start, I didn't miss that as much. I do prefer Battlefront's paintball style way of keeping score (i.e. letting you know how many guys you have left vs. the enemy's total tally) to the Conquest style which is more like 'every other game'. You know you've got 3 lives or whatever to finish the level. That 250 vs 250 style was one thing that made Battlefront stand out for me. So anyway, this is a great game. I think most would have fun with it, especially recommended for those who enjoyed the Battlefront games, hack n slash style, and like the LOTR books/movies.

I recently rented this game from GameFly. If you're reading this review, hopefully you know that the online play is no more, which is sad. I got this game hoping it was going to be like the Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, a game I loved playing on my Nintendo GameCube. I enjoyed the Return of the King because it made hack and slash fun, you got multiplyers for good, excellent and perfect kills. You often had to fight through hordes of enemies and aside from your main weapon, you had bows and arrows and stuff like that, you could also pick up spears and stuff and the game really added a variety and spice to the gameplay.

In Lord of the Rings Conquest, you have four different classes to choose from: warrior, archer, mage and scout. Each has their strengths and weaknesses. You can also play occasionally as a hero that often falls into those various categories. You rack up hits much like in the previous LOTR hack & slash games and you have strong, medium and light attacks and you have various objectives much like the last one, opening doors, claiming positions, protecting things, collecting things, killing baddies and always heading to the next arrow.

This game looks ok. It really disappoints actually, it's nothing special to look at. The recreation of locations looks much like movie locations which is quite something, but the locations are EMPTY. Battlefields looks EMPTY. I can't believe no other review I've read has stated this. This game is NOT EPIC, IT'S EMPTY. I was running around like a crazy person in the Battle for Helms deep LOOKING FOR ORCS TO SLAUGHTER. The game doesn't give the feeling of overwhelming odds and there's more enemies when you invade the Shire then at other key times like the Battle for Helms Deep or the Fields of Pelennor.

You don't use too many of the various classes, you end up just using like the warrior and using the same combo/moves over and over (I realize this same argument could be made about many hack and slash games). But it's boring as heck, and the only thing that helps make this game fun is the occasional break where you get to be some kick-butt dude like Sauramon, Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, an Ent, a Nazgal and my personal favorite, the Balrog. These moments are shining examples in the game that stand out from the time you're that faceless/nameless grunt that will probably die a hundred times by a hundred deaths.

Let's hope that the Lord of the Rings: War in the North will give us a real Lord of the Rings game that will make us proud.

This game is really fun and cool. This game actually is set up very much like the Star Wars Battlefront series. I like the way it is played. You have certain point in which you have to either defend, or attack. In doing so, you earn checkpoints. These checkpoints allow you to change your character in the middle of the game. In certain parts you get to select a Hero for battle!! The great thing about this game is that you can actually play as the enemy. So, you have the choice of being the good or evil side. The graphics are incredible. The music and the sound put you into the action. The voices of the characters are really cool as well. The controls are pretty easy, although there are many different combinations that you can perform using your weapon. It is a very challenging game and learning each character's attack is essential. For example, I couldn't beat Sauron using Gandalf, or an archer or scout because I wasn't used to playing as those characters. I ended up beating Sauron using a warrior. Which I played most of the level with and so I was used to using.

I think you are a Lord of the Rings fan, this is a definite item to put in your collection. Also, the PS3 allows you to download the upgrades to the game to further enhance the experience.

The game also has a cool multiplayer game where you and another player can be on the same screen fighting the same battle. Or do a head to head battle.

I have not yet played on-line, but looking forward to trying it once I get the hang of the game by completing the many levels of difficulty.

Like most I was very excited to read the reviews and watch the demos. I ordered and installed the product, and set everything up properly. The customer support is great, and the new firmware fixed any small issues the product had with jaggedness. There is no lag, and aiming is, technically, more accurate than is possible with a controller.

HOWEVER, I ultimately returned the product. The problem that I haven't seen mentioned is that the main thing that makes using a mouse so much better than a controller simply doesn't translate onto PS3:

On a PC, a mouse is LINEAR. If you move the mouse 2 inches to the right your character turns a certain amount. If you move the mouse 2 inches to the right quickly, the character turns the EXACT SAME AMOUNT, he just does it MORE QUICKLY. This is not the case when using a mouse on Black Ops, Medal of Honor, etc. The Eagle Eye basically translates the "mouse is moving to the right" action into "right analog stick is being pushed to the right." This, in theory, works well. However, on the PS3, the speed of your character's turn depends not on the speed that the mouse moves, nor the distance, but on a fixed in game sensitivity. For example, if you set your sensitivity to 2 in Black Ops, your character can only turn at a certain max speed. If you try to swipe your mouse to the right quickly, the PS3 only understands that the right analog stick is being pushed breifly, and your character will barely move. If you move the mouse relatively slowly, the character will turn farther, because the PS3 thinks the right analog stick has been pushed right for a longer period of time. This is the opposite of how it works on PC, and is very disconcerting. This is no fault of Penguin United, it is simply the way the game undertands inputs, and it cannot be changed unless the game has an option to undestand inputs in a linear way, such as the native mous/kb option in UT3. Ultimately, This was very frustrating/confusing, and I wound up losing more firefights trying to fight this effect and my own inutition than I would have if I had simply used the controller.

C/N You get to use a mouse and keyboard, but the REASON a mouse and keyboard is better in the first place doesn't really translate.

Take your time and do the advanced Calibration several times to tweak it perfect. It takes several games to get the feel just right.. but after you get it calibrated it is pretty close to a PC experience. The major difference is the linear action of a PC mouse and the analog action of the Eagle Eye mouse, you just can not trun around as fast as you can with a PC mouse. It is impossible to replicate it exactly but you can get close. When you set up your keys dont forget the long blank space below the controller that sets your scope mode button for calibration. And after you do advanced calibration for non scope mode, do it again with your player in scope mode. This really allows you to fine tune the players actions while scoped and can make it like shooting fish in a barrel. I played MW3 campaign first and got the feel down then you can go online and it is amazing how most of the controller players look like they are in slow motion. Well worth the 50 bucks if, like me all your friends are scared of PC games and you still want to own them..

I'm a skeptic when it comes to console gaming but after weighing the pros and cons of each console, I went with a PS3. This is my first console since Super Nintendo and I've been really happy with it except for one thing...First Person Shooters. FPSes feel like you are drunk on PS3.

It was by accident that I stumbled across a YouTube review of Eagle Eye but for the price it was worth a shot. I am so glad I made the decision to buy it. I've already been cursed at in-game for being such a good shot and went from that guy at the bottom of the scoreboard with 1 kill and 20 deaths to the top 5 every time. I've used it for BF3, Golden Eye, and CoD4. All of them work great with the Eagle Eye.

As for finding the correct mouse and keyboard, it worked with a cheap Logitech M310 wireless mouse and GE wireless keyboard I picked up from Target for $15 total.

As to the people giving this a negative review, it is either (1) they are too inept to read the instructions and calibrate it correctly, (2) not adjusting in-game sensitivity, or (3) not using a correct mouse or keyboard.

Pros: Quick install, faster aiming, compact, and great for PC gamers coming to console.

Cons: It has 95% of the feel of a PC game (it still feels a bit off), not compatible with all mice or keyboards, and it will make your wife angry that you spend more time gaming.

The bad reviews on this device may be prior to the 3.0 firmware update/application for the Eagle Eye and/or may be from people who just didn't take the time to calibrate it properly or tweak it.

That being said, just as background and setup, I'm a mid-30's gamer who grown up rocking the FPS online PC games all the way back to the original Quake1&2, Wolfenstein and the ever awesome Half Life on those fantastic dial ups. It's ingrained that a keyboard and mouse are the necessary tools for an FPS. I transitioned to the PS3 because of the expense of continually updating my gaming rig each year and in buying the PS3 I've gone though quite a few Keyboard/Mouse setups for it. Most noteable is the SplitFish series of PS3/xBox mouse setups.

The SplitFish has it's advantages with an easy plug'n play, but the calibration, adjustments and precision are far lacking in comparison to the Eagle Eye. Moving from one game to the next you find the SplitFish 'feeling' is way different on each game. Now this isn't a review on the SplitFish, but a review on the Eagle Eye. I have had more issues trying to dial in and change and setup the SplitFish to get the PC Game feel and in the end had no luck. The SplitFish will never feel like a PC game setup. Period. I eventually just "lived with it".... until I jumped the CoD line and moved to BF3 where the SplitFish is completely and utterly useless by the stair effect.

Being useless I moved onto another Mouse/Keyboard setup and bought the Eagle Eye. I was weary based on some of the review, but I'm happy I bought it. Here, let me say that again in big'ol letters I"M HAPPY I BOUGHT IT. It's far beyond the SplitFish setup.

I'm running an older 3500 dpi Razer Deathadder with the Razer Nostromo as my keyboard and, no joke, DonkeyTron! Let me translate DonkeyTron.... yeah, it friggin rocks. The Eagle Eye recognized both hardware and worked perfectly. It's not exactly like playing on a PC, but it is so so very close. You get precise aiming movements and the ability to have all your key command / usage buttons at your finger tips and it was fairly easy to setup and be up and running/playing in minutes with something that will 'work' and 'dominate'. I say that because, you are able to do a pretty quick setup and have the thing working much better than any other keyboard/mouse combos I've tried, but to really get it super dialed in to your preference it takes a couple more minutes to tweak things. (Caveat: I'm super picky about how my hardware performs, so this could just be me.)

SETUP: The instructions are a little lacking (box instructions), but the setup is fast and easy. If you're on Linux you're SOL and will have to find a Windows machine.

The one thing they leave out of the setup is that the keyboard and mouse that you're going to be using with the PS3 need to be plugged into the windows machine and the drivers HAVE to be installed. For some crazy reason (early morning) I totally missed this and took me 5 minutes to "think" about it.

The Eagle Eye comes with the 3.0 firmware and software and it's super easy to setup ad use. Once running, it's a matter of clicking on the PS3 button shown in the wonderful example PS3 controller image (in app) and then clicking the keyboard or mouse button that you want to assign it to. Once that's done, then it's a matter of taking all three devices and hooking them up to your PS3. TaDa!

USE: I've had some uber bad stair effect with many mouse/keybaord combos for the PS3, but it's nearly non-existent with the Eagle Eye. In BF3, the SplitFish is almost un-playable, but with the Eagle Eye there's no stair effect it's smooth, precise and fast.

I did run into the 'slow turning' that some people mentioned. If you have you're ingame settings too low then, when you try and 360 spin turn (like you can in PC FPS games) you'll have to pick your mouse up and slide it multiple times. This is just a matter of taking the time to dial in the settings. Once dialed in this is a great product.

CONS: Instructions are very short, but then when you run the app there's sidebar instruction that run you through things. Could they be a little more detailed? Yes. Do they give you enough information? Sure.

It is wired. The Eagle Eye device, that is. To me, this really isn't a huge con, but it does add some more cords to your gaming setup.

PROS: Price.

Easy setup.

Solid product doesn't seem like it's going to break.

Supported Hardware the list is very long and includes some great gaming keyboards/mice.

Online support there's a ton of documentation and information online.

Multiple Key Mappings this allows you to setup more than one mapping for the device. e.g. I have two on mine right now. One for BF3 and one for CoD since there's a slight variation in the buttons and I can adjust the aiming speeds for each.

PC FPS Feel well, almost PC feel. It's pretty damn close and I've used almost every keyboard/mouse setup for the PS3.

Want PS3 Eagle Eye Mouse and Keyboard Converter Discount?

This item does work well but I did notice that if it isn't switched to "Setting 1" when the PS3 is turned on then it won't detect it. (Remember what keyboard button you set as the Playstation sync button! You have to sync it just like any other PS3 controller.) Sometimes it does simply mess up and disconnect, but maybe only once every 40 hours of game play. This is most likely a PS3/Game issue, not due to the Eagle Eye though.

I'm using it for COD (I have every version) with the Logitech G500 mouse (on the highest dpi setting all the biggest weights installed). You will have to adjust your customized settings in the game, the Eagle Eye, and mouse for days to get it where it fits you best. The uploaded settings on their website by other users are ridiculous, placing keyboard buttons way too far apart to play any game. I will be uploading my custom settings to their website soon once they are refined to perfection. The cable is a good length, I've got a 50 inch screen with the Tritton AX. These ($160) earphones have a shorter cable by a couple feet, but the Eagle eye is super long... I don't know what customers were complaining about... Add the keyboard and mouse cables and now it ends up being 9 feet long, at least 3 feet more than you should ever need?! 4 feet is enough.

With the DPI on 5700 for the mouse and the Max speed setting maxed out on the Eagle Eye settings the movements are exactly like those of a computer, but using a 300-600dpi wireless mouse ($5) and/or with the max speed restricted, the movements are jumpy, 'knocking' into positions about 6 times per second. YOU HAVE TO FIND A GOOD COMPATIBLE MOUSE AND SET THE EAGLE TO MAX SPEED! You can always where the sensitivity in the game down to a 3 to slow it down after that.

All 10 keyboards I have work but of the 5 mice I had only 1 worked, my cheapest wireless one imported from China... so I had to go out and buy the G500 to make the games playable.

Clearly the price makes this a steal, other similar products are over $100. Other integrated mouse-like PS3 controllers aren't adjustable enough to recreate PC like mouse movements. The only major flaw I saw is that after saving the sensitivity settings (in game using the F1 F2 F3 etc. keys), when connecting it to the PC I could not pull the settings off of the Eagle Eye back into Windows 7 64, it locked up my PC for all but 1 of the some odd 10 or more times I tried. (Had to CTRL-ALT_DEL to close the program.) Fortunately 1 pull was enough, and they matched the website sensibility settings uploaded for BLOPS exactly, so there is really no need to keep testing them again since if you don't change your mouse, these will stay the same.

I am using the same setup for both Uncharted (all versions) and Call of Duty (all versions). So far they work great, have completed from start to finish all versions (and prestige'd in all) fairly easy in just 1 month of gaming. If you are taking advantage of the cheap new/used/old games for the PS3 as an alternative to the long list of expensive/incompatible PC games out there (PC games that are also easily hacked) then THE EAGLE EYE IS NOT OPTIONAL! YOU MUST HAVE THIS IF YOU HATE GAME CONTROLLERS LACK OF SENSITIVITY SETTINGS AS MUCH AS I DO!!! Once you've learned to adjust the settings properly you'll same a ton of money by getting used/older games for the PS3 instead of going the pricey PC route, so the cost for this item, no matter how cheap/expensive really becomes irrelevant.

This is an excelling gaming investment for a PC-Mouse gamer going to the PS3!

(if you have enough PC knowledge to navigate the fairly simple software instructions properly)

This is not a game but a charger for all of our PlayStation controllers. Love that it is a tidy way to store all of them. Be aware that it does light up quite a bit. Ours in hidden in a TV stand so it doesn't bother us but it could be annoying while watching TV. Great buy

The best deal out there in terms of price/quality for a PS3 charging stand. Charges the regular controllers and Move controllers. Blinds pilots of small aircraft with insane green high-intensity light beams. Insanely bright at night -as in "prop a book next to it so you don't get blinded while watching a movie in the dark" bright. Was this supposed to be a "feature"?

That said, this is an A+ product except for the high beams. B+ overall.

Bought this for my dad for his birthday as a second guitar for his PS3. I used it for about 2 hours and really liked it. I like that it is a little smaller than the original guitar so it is more "girl" and "child" friendly. My three year old nieces liked having the second set of buttons where they could reach them and push them down, even though they can't actually play the game. I would definatly recomend this for people with small hands!

Okay the box is amazing it is hard nice plastic with cool designs on it, although it is not to scale of a real care package it resembles the size of a small toy chest. Opening it everything is nicely packaged. There are two cardboards boxes with nice designs, then on the inside they hold the controller and the Quadcopter which is a huge let down. The medals are metal and are nice with cool artistic designs on them and they have a code on them to redeem the nuketown map. To the left of it is the game case. It is a standard PS3 case but plated with metal over it with cool design of a guy holding a gun on the front and on the back a girl with flames behind her. Inside is the disk and a bunch of papers to redeem more things like the soundtrack. Now onto the Quadcopter the worst thing ever. I am an experienced Quadcopter flyer I have a real one and have flown for years. When I turned this on it worked fine expect you CANNOT turn the copter around!! you can lift it high into the air sway it left and right but you can not do a 360, a bunch of crap so you can fly straight back left and right. On a real Quadcopter and helicopter you can turn it around so you can fly behind you not the case. You can still fly around everywhere but if you want to turn back around you have to back the Quadcopter up instead of turning around and facing the direction. It is like if you had a car and you wanted to go to the opposite side of the lane you have to go forward move your car to the left/right and then drive backwards! Terrible design and the control is terrible, cheap plastic and the stick that controls the helicopters movements gets stuck on the edge of the plastic a lot making it hard to maneuver. The only thing it is good for now is sitting on my stand looking pretty. Also the small little gun you see attached to it does not stay on when you fly it is only stuck onto the display so when you lay the copter on top of it it looks like it is part of the Quadcopter, but it is not. Do not waste $100 extra just for the Quadcopter and the case, but get the hardened edition instead only $80. It is only $20 more than the original and has everything except the nice care package and the terrible Quadcopter. Hope this helps.

**THIS IS NOT A REVIEW OF THE GAME, BUT RATHER OF THE CARE PACKAGE AND THE CONTENTS.**

I will review the game itself later.

While the game could be better, the Care Package really does look really nice.

So, what do you get with this?

-Care Package box

-Steelbook case

-MQ-27 Dragonfire (Quadrotor) RC with Controller (obviously), batteries, manuals, stand, and "repair stickers"

-Nuketown Zombies

-Nuketown 2025

-Soundtrack (Digital Copy)

-PS3 Dynamic Theme (Turbine from Multiplayer)

-PS3 Dynamic Theme (Zombies' TranZit)

-Nuketown 2025 playercard background

-Nuketown Zombies playercard background

-Weapon Camo

-2 exclusive "Challenge Coins" used to unlock "exclusive content"

The Care Package box itself is really big, and contains 2 big boxes and one cardboard display showcasing the Coins and Steelbook. The box is made of a thick plastic, which makes it pretty durable. I use mine to store my Call of Duty collectibles.

The Quadrotor is made of styrofoam, which makes it really light, and possibly very weak in terms of strength. You can fly it up, down, left, or right, but you cannot turn it in mid-air. Meaning, you cannot rotate it 90 degrees while in flight. You can charge it from the controller or use the small USB cable that comes with it to charge it using your computer. It may take about 30 minutes, depending on the battery level. Yes, batteries are supplied this time, unlike in Black Ops 1's Prestige Edition. For some reason, I was only given 3 batteries, when the controller needs 6. The Quadrotor has a decent battery life as well.

Nuketown Zombies takes place in the 1960's Nuketown, and it also takes place during Moon's Easter Egg, which explains the nuke explosion. (You'll frequently hear radio transmissions from Richtofen as rounds progress) It's a really small map, and it's fairly easy. You can only play Survival, and you can play as the CIA or the CDC. It's really fun with 4 players, but it's also fun on Solo too, once you get used to how the map works. One interesting note about this map is that the M27 (AR) and the LSAT (LMG) can be earned from the Mystery Box, whereas you cannot get these weapons in Green Run. Why these guns are exclusive to this map I do not know. Also, buy the Black Ops 2 Season Pass and you'll get NTZombies once it's released to the public.

Nuketown 2025 is basically Nuketown from Black Ops, just re-designed with new buildings and environment. The map still contains campers (hell ,what map DOESN'T?). If you want to play this map, you'll have to go to Chaos Moshpit or select it in Private Match. Treyarch will have NT2025 24/7 playlists during "special events".

The soundtrack is a digital copy, which means it's a download. It is not a download from iTunes, but rather from the Call of Duty website. It contains 49 songs, is composed mainly by Jack Wall. Other artists include Trent Reznor, Brian Tuey, and even Mozart. I haven't really listened to most of the soundtrack, so I can't really say whether it's good or not.

The themes are pretty cool, one showcases Turbine, and the other showcases TranZit from Zombies. Since the themes are dynamic, theme is well, animated. The turbines spin, the Zombie Bus has flashing lights, ashes fall from the sky, etc.

The weapon camo is really a Digital-style camo, with random orange patches on it. Looks good on most weapons, and is instantly unlocked. If you want to equip it, go to "Personalize Weapon", and go to the "DLC" tab and you'll find it.

The Playercards are used for Multiplayer, and are instantly unlocked. One is a background of Nuketown 2025 and the other features Nuketown Zombies. The Zombies' playercard however is really just a picture of a bunch of Zombies packed next to each other. But, each look nice and are in the DLC tab (when selecting a playercard)

The Challenge Coins are actually coins (a friend of mine told me how one of his friends thought they weren't actual coins or something), with Black Ops 2 icons/pictures on them, such as the Dragonfire, Skull, etc. Now, only one of the coins contains a code, and that code has to be redeemed online, NOT on PSN. (You can also tell because there are more than 12 characters, and PSN codes are 12.) One of the papers in the Steelbook case tells you what website you have to redeem it on. The code contains the Camo , Playercards, and Soundtrack. You will need an ELITE account to redeem it though. Once you create an account/sign in, you'll be asked to enter the code and the content will be given to you.

The Steelbook contains the game (obviously) and features two different covers. One side (the front) is an alternate artwork to the Standard Edition cover, and the other side (the back) contains a Zombie-themed background featuring Misty (female) holding a shotgun and a skull. Inside the Steelbook, you will find vouchers for the Nuketown Zombies, Nuktown 2025, Themes, and Challenge Coin redemption instructions.

I'm not entirely sure whether $180 is reasonable price or not, but that's your judgement. If you want the Quadrotor and/or Box as collectibles, then sure, go ahead and buy it. If you don't want to spend the extra $100+, then get a Standard or Hardened Edition.

Came well packaged and contained all items listed in the care package box, the quality of the box is really nice and look forward to using the box for storing gaming equipment in and transporting to friends places.

The quad-copter was undamaged and all parts were intact worked straight out of the box. Only let down with the quad-copter was the controller which was slightly wierd as a previous reviewer has mentioned you can only go forward backward left and right and only one at a time due to the plastic stoppers which I recently removed to have greater control during flight.

I'm in Australia and was concerned purchasing a US version of the game to use with my AU playstation and AU account, the game works fine but for me to use the DLC codes or get the season pass I needed to create a US playstation account to redeem and download the content for my disc. Once downloaded I can easily switch back to my main account and still use the DLC content so no major let downs just a minor problem.

Other than that well worth the extra money and look forward to heaps of hours of enjoyment :)

Thought it would a bit more durable but the construction is very poorly built. Was fun while it lasted I guess but think again before shelling out 150 bucks. Get the harden edition instead.

Want Call of Duty: Black Ops II (Care Package) Discount?

The game is good by itself, but the hardcore gamer would purchase this "Care Package" edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops II for all the extras. The care package container is large, and built with enough quality to be able to be used at home for storage of your gaming accessories; the only part of the extras that isn't up to par is the remote controlled drone. The drone itself is made from cheap foam, and it doesn't fly that well; it's better off as a display piece.

Lets be clear, you won't be using this to play the drums in your night band. This is budget drum throne, build solidly enough to support adults, but not something that is high in comfort or performance.

It's a vinyl covered seat, with standard foam padding. You will find the same construction type in something like a bar stool you would buy from target.

My biggest complaint is slight wobble or give once assembled. This is a design issue as the throne allows you to swivel, but it's a basic bolt mechanism.

A real drum throne with comfort and smooth swivel will cost hundreds of dollars. But for only 3-4 songs at a time this Rock Throne gets the job done.

Just be sure to budget your expectations along with your wallet.

I bought this thinking that it would be a good replacement for the hard, dining-room chair I've been using to play the drums for Rock Band 2. When I took it out of the box, put it together, (which, by the way, wasn't at all difficult) and sat down in it, I was slightly disappointed. It felt sturdy, (which is important because I weigh about 220) but the seat wobbled a bit. After playing a set or two on Rock Band, (about 20 minutes of play) I was really disappointed; my butt was already hurting. It became obvious that the seat just wasn't big enough to support me comfortably, and I would never be able to play for extended periods of time. I was better off using the dining-room chair.

This feels very sterdy and cushion is sufficiant. I'm 210 and don't feel like it has a problem handling my weight. This should compliment any one's Rock Band or Guitar Hero World Tour sessions.

This is a big joke. The stool will not stay together if you move it at all. I tighten the wingnut every time we play. It's not a tight fit (wobbles a lot) and the stool doesn't set high enough for me to play.

Bad news.

well THE BIGGEST problem, game is not released to us or Canada, so i had to order it from UK. The game-play and graphics are second to none, i have never seen a game quite like The Ashes, graphics are similar to NBA 2K10, with players facial expressions and swatting. you pretty much can play all the shots like in a real game mid-on, off etc....the bowling is also realistic with drift, dusras spin. The one feature, i enjoy the most is the ability to change how old the pitch is, i.e one game old two games old etc. It supports trophies so you will have new trophy every time you complete a challenge in a game.

The game is good but needs a patch released for fielding glitches, its very difficult to catch a ball, believe me i have played over 50hrs of it. on my good day i am able to complete only 80% of all catches. its not fully licensed by all cricket boards, so they have purposely misspelled the names of all the counties players except Australia and England. I would expect product like it, to be fully licensed. sometimes its hard to hit the ball but i have realized once you have passed the learning curve it almost becomes second nature.

overall, the game is 9/10. i personally feel its a step in the right direction as far as cricket games are concerned for xbox, and ps3. yes even though this game is PAL, format it play with ps3 in united states, you have to make sure you are using HDMI cables and HDTV

Cricket games have never captured the public imagination like, say, football games, mainly because a more complex sport is bound to breed a less-easily-grasped video game.

But Codemasters' Brian Lara-branded games of yore consistently outshone their rivals, and finally, the Britsoft publisher has acquired the plum cricketing licence: the Ashes. It's a big shame that Ashes Cricket 2009 didn't make it to the crease in time for the first Test in Cardiff, but at least it's a classy and thoroughly playable effort.

Usually play this to calm my nerves after an engaging chapter of any FPS....this is very relaxing and fun. Though option of spontaneous commentary would make this game even more mind blowing.

Love the game, cant stop playing. grt graphic. such games are hard to find these days. would recommend this game. But dont miss ur prayers for games.

Want Ashes Cricket (2009) PS3 Discount?

Ashes 2009 could have been better , if not for noticeable glitches in game play . While faulty umpiring occasionally makes it more realistic , it is overdone.Another thing is the fielding. The fielding is simply horrific. The appealing, too is overdone

Otherwise, the game was good. The Hawk-Eye technology is good for the game .There is a Legends Coaching .What made me buy this game, however, was the online game play. Although it is sometimes hard to find an opponent , it will all pay off in the end. But beware! Your opponent can quit the match at any time. Yet another downside!

Another thing in the game is' The Pavillion' In there , you can see all the trophies and stadia you have unlocked. You can also check out the world records.

In the game itself, you can pick one of 12 teams. You can then play a 20 over , 50 over or the longest form, the grueling test match . There are three difficulties.

Another 'up' is the customization. You can change the player's name, his appearance, his kit or you can edit his skills. Of course, you cannot edit the Aussies or English.

This is the most polished Virtua Tennis in the series.

I played the older versions in PS2 and PSP. Game play wise, VT3 actually is the same as those older versions. You get the latest and greatest tennis stars and new mini games to power up your custom player. The interesting thing is in VT3 the computer AI is quite smart. You cant cruise through the game like before. Have to use some brain. Thats the nice part.

Other than part, its pretty much the same game as the previous versions with better graphics (1080p!)

If you never play Virtua Tennis before, then I highly recommend this game to you. Its easy to learn and play. Its fun and addictive.

I already had the previous game on PSP and I loved it. Now, this one comes out on PS3 and it is soooo gooooood. Has excellent game play, very real movements, graphics are breathtaking. There is nothing wrong I can say about this game. If you like Tennis, this is a must have.

The best tennis game out!

VT3 is a pretty neat game. I've never played a VirtuaTennis game before. I was expecting some neat gameplay and some tournaments and that's it. However, the "World Tour" mode is very engaging. It give you a calendar with tournaments taking place around the world. You go to the minigames to hone the skills of your player so that you can win tournaments and move up the rankings. Along the way, you get new gear from sponsors and other players. It doesn't do much, but it's something. The neat part is how you have to manage your stamina to make sure you have enough when a tournament comes around. Once or twice, I was playing so many mini-games I forgot to go to the tournaments. My character "got the flu" from playing so hard without rest that he was out for 4 weeks. Kind of interesting.

The graphics are great and the motions are spot on. Once you get to more skilled players the action really heats up and gets very engaging. I was just ho hum about tennis before, but this really made it seem interesting and engaging.

If you think VirtuaTennis might be interesting, download the demo and try it. If you like the demo, you'll LOVE the game.

I've played this game for about 30 total hours now. It's very well done and addictive. Nice graphics, good depth in developing abilities with training games. The only gripes are about difficulty, Having mastered the gameplay, Hard is too easy, yet Very Hard is a nightmare. The CPU runs down EVERYTHING, and even when lunging returns shots at impossible angles to deny hard earned points. The volleying doesn't work like it should, also denying sure points with inexplicably weak returns. These "cheating" elements have now killed the game for me. The Chasm of Difficulty between settings really hurts an otherwise great title. With a friend it could still be very fun, but there's no online option. Worth the price, but could be better.

Virtual Tennis 3 is easier to play than Top Spin 3. Virtual Tennis 3 also has a video game mode that you can hit a ball against a colorful wall or like a bowling alley. Characters also have a nicer demeanor than Top Spin 3 which is appropriate of good sportsmanship for kids.

The graphics on the Playstation 3 version of this game are a travesty considering the console it was made for. The graphics would be considered a bit less than average on even a Playstation 2 console. Wall-E is not much more than a cube with a low-res wallpaper on it. Other characters don't fare that much better. While they aren't polygonal looking as Wall-E they still aren't up to snuff graphically. Even though The backgrounds are serviceable they are nothing near the potential of what the console can do. Debris effects hearken back to the original Playstation days. This is very sad considering all of the potential that can be had considering the source.

The game itself is a decent 3-D platformer that gives you various puzzles to solve. The solutions of these puzzles aren't all that obvious and can challenge you to a little logical thinking, but aside from that the game doesn't travel new ground. Seems more like just repeating puzzle after puzzle. I never felt that connected to the story because of it.

All in all the kids may enjoy it and once the price goes down it should be worthwhile. At this moment I can't really endorse it considering there are much better platform games out there that do take strides in making a good looking PS3 game with an engaging story like Ratchet and Clank. Wall-E doesn't endeavor to anything more than capitalize on the movie franchise.

My most advanced game system before my PS3 was a Super Nintendo, so I'm always amazed by the graphics. I bought Wall-E because I liked the demo that I downloaded from the PlayStation Store. Once you figure out the general routine of what to do in the game, most of the frustration goes away, but there are still parts that I had to do over and over, almost ad nauseum, before I made it through. At least you have unlimited lives and your progress is saved often, so you don't have to do the whole level over. The best parts were flying around with Eve with the motion-sensing PS3 controller, unless you're like my wife and 3D first-person POV games make you sick. I think there are nine levels to the game, and each one can take a long time, especially if you try to find all the bonus items. But when I beat it, I had that "is that it?" feeling.

It's pretty basic, kind of short but tons of fun. I got hooked on it immediately. The characters are really cute and fun, the levels are straight forward and most important to me I didn't have to have much skill in aiming or firing a weapon like most games. My husband is a huge gamer and he even thought it was pretty fun to play.

If you are a fan of Gundam then I definitely recommend buying this amazing game. This is its own fighting game and is not like Dynasty Warriors. Even though its from Japan the menus are in Japanese and English so theres no problem getting around. If you get lost or don't know what something says there are a couple forums that say what everything is and tell you the trophy requirements. But other than the fact that its in Japanese it is well worth the money for this Gundam game!
