It works as expected. You put in the batteries, plug in the USB receiver, cut the controller on, and... ouila! You've got an extra controller for your PS3. Too bad there's no rumble and no six-axis support.
Also, though the HOME button being out-of-the-way (a couple cm under the D-pad) is okay, as I wouldn't want to hit it accidentally, the start and select buttons are a royal pain to deal with (as you have to curl your right thumb back to hit them, usually with a fingernail).
The Rams logo is pretty cool, though.

This has a good grip and its comfortable to use. The things to consider when purchasing this item is the lack of vibration capability and the little small start and select buttons located beside the right joystick. I bought this for my husband and he LOVED it. He said it worked perfect when playing Madden 12.
