Got my cables today and it is not what is pictured or what is stated. I received normal composit cables. Not the PS3/PS2 Component-AV Silver Plated Cable. It came in a plain brown shipping envelope. They do work and they fit on the PS2 but the point is that they did not send the product I was expecting. I have contacted the seller. I would like to know why Amazon lets companies do this to their customers with deceptive sales tactics. Guess if I ordered monster cables from this company I would get AV cables with a sticker of a monster on it.

Coming from someone who doesn't know much about the particulars about cables and such, I can honestly say that even without knowing you can immediately see the quality of this product. As soon as I plugged my PS2 in with this baby, I could immediately see a difference in video quality on my 720p HDTV. Where there was fuzzy video before there was now clear and crisp video. It's about as close to HD as you can get on PS2. The audio, however, did not have a noticeable difference in quality from the stock PS2 cables.

The cable that arrived was not the one in the product image. It came in a clear plastic bag. They are component cables for a PS2, at least. After doing a couple tests with them they seem to work fine. There is no noticeable ghosting, blurring, or odd colors as some people have seen with third-party component cables. The sound seems fine, but I use my television's speakers so it's hard to tell; it sounds acceptable to me, in any rate. The connector to the PS2 is pretty tight, but the plugs on the other end (the RGB-R/W) are just on the edge of being too loose.

So, while what I received was not what was in the picture, I still got some component cables for my PS2 which is what they said I'd get and so I'm ultimately happy with my purchase.

I should have listened to the other reviewers because what you get looks nothing like the Amazon product picture. Look at the uploaded photo from reviewer Ryan to see what you actually get.

Anyway, it don't work on my slim PS2 and Sony Bravia Flatscreen TV. I tried everything setting the PS2 to right color setting, unplugging it, powering off TV, switching inputs, but nothing worked. I only get sound and no picture, so this cable is going back.

Doesn't look anything like picture and does not work with my PS2 has a different pin configuration. Dissatisfied due to can not use at all.
