No dongle(Bluetooth connection to ps3)witch is better to have no dongle. 2 switches on the back one for motors and one for the led lights. Rapid fire works well. (press turbo button and press the desired button to be rapid at the same time then again to turn that buttons rapid fire off). Resets controller when turned off. It feels great with this wired black coating better than the dualshock3 ones. The 4 top buttons along with the entire controller is a bit bigger than the dualshock3 but i can say its better for grip. Solid construction. Vibration function is good enough (yull feel it. Dead zones for the sticks are a little big but not to bad.
Only problems i have had with it is it shuts off every 5 min without any activity on the controller(regardless of power saving setting in xbm menu). If the battery goes completely dead and needs a recharge it takes a 10min recharge time to connect again. If you have any trouble with the controller (connecting to ps3) hit the reset button with a pen and try again (located on the back center to the right a bit above a square next to a screw whole). Does not have sensor movement controls (sixaxis) tested with flower.
Over all rating 9/10 for the price and functionality (honestly for ~$30 i cant imagine a much better product especially with led, rapid fire and bluetooth that feels as good as it does.)
Note:No instructions but its a controller what is to know other than how the rapid function works. (witch is explained above).
I am completely satisfied with my purchase and i do recommend it.

Been using this controller for a week now. I must say this controller is great! I was always looking for a controller with the official PS3 controller layout. I kinda gave up until I found this (most of the 3rd party PS3 controllers are similar to XBOX 360 design which I don't like). Another reason for picking up this controller is to play my PC games (I used to use the XBOX 360 controller for PC but I just don't like the layout). The grip is great. One little problem of this controller is the L3 or R3 button, it takes more force to push it than the official controller. But it's fine to me because I don't use it for shooting games (I use regular keyboard and mouse for both PC and PS3). The battery life is great, been using it for hours without any problems. Overall, this controller is awesome.Buy Monoprice Pro Bluetooth LED Turbo Gamepad for Playstation 3 and PC - Black Now
Got these for use both with my computer and my PS3. Worked great out of the box with PS3 after charging. Computer recognized immediately with USB. Took more work to use bluetooth on the computer. You need the MotioninJoy Gamepad app to use these with bluetooth on your computer. My computer will even recognize the sixaxis feature. These took a while a charge initially, but seem to hold a charge well without the LEDs on.Update still use these regularly. I actually prefer this to my regular PS3 controller. If they had longer battery life they would be perfect.

I just received this controller the other day and i would like to say for the price, this is the best controller i have ever gotten for the PS3. Ergonomically, it fits very nice, and everything is VERY responsive. However, my biggest gripes are not being able to connect wireless via bluetooth, and the lack of any instruction manual.Let me begin with the Pros, the feel of the controller, and the ability to function. Ergonomically, this controller does not cause any sort of strain i get from the regular dualshock 3 controller. It has rubberized grips at the handles which mold comfortably to your hand. In addition, the weight of the controller feels very sturdy... I didn't feel like i was gripping it too hard like i would with the DS3 controller.
Another point i would like to make is how responsive the controller is, especially the analog sticks. I have found no dead spots (areas where the analog stick doesn't respond to) when playing. As this was very helpful in playing Battlefield 3, where being accurate is very important since its an FPS game. All of the buttons responded right as i hit them and didn't feel as though the controller had any sort of input delay at all. Which is a HUGE plus for an after market controller.
However, i do have 2 big gripes. Since i had the controller, i have not been able to connect wireless via bluetooth. And i cannot find any information online about how to fix this dilemma. Which brings me up to my next point: This controller did not come with an instruction manual on how to set it up. So for the time being, i have been playing wired via the USB cable that was supplied with the controller (which is a very nice gesture, since some companies don't even do that). I would hope that this model isn't defective, because i have several DS3 controller and they all connect with no problem at all to the PS3. And it would be kind of bothersome that that i would have to use this controller being wired in order for it to work.
Henceforth, this controller is fantastic for the price, despite a few flaws i have encountered. If you are looking for an after market PS3 controller that retains the PS3 layout AND functions well for a great price, this in the controller you should get. Just be advised that you may or may not receive a manual for it to troubleshoot any problems you might come across.
