I use this controller to connect to my Linux machines using the sixad userspace device drivers. Compared to their ~$50 official wireless PS3 controller alternatives this controller is a bargain. The only trick is sixad requires a small patch to support these devices. I don't know how Windows will handle this controller. It took me a while to find the patch on an Arch Linux message board, but with the patch, all features of the device work great in Linux, including the built in accelerometers. Battery life on these is great. I've bought 3 and am considering buying a 4th, if the price stays in this range. I use it to play Wii games on dolphin emulator.
