Awesome game with lots of great old school tracks. Especially if you have always been a wannabe dj... Now you can with very little skill and feel like you are a pretty cool dude... Lol... oh don't forget to buy some beats headphones for added affect....

I already knew that this game was a blast, but i never thought that all my friends would jump into it gladly. This is not only a game, it's a great setlist for your friday/saturday drinking with friends time. DJ hero is far superior then dj hero2 when it comes down to the mixes (IMO), but you should buy dj hero2 party bundle and then buy dj hero, due to its great price.I apologize for the grammar errors, i'm not a native english speaker :)

Yes, this is another music game. Yes, you will have yet another piece or two of plastic that is completely useless without the DJ Hero games. And it isn't without a number of minor issues. But, even considering all of that, this game deserves 5 stars. Here's why I think that is the case:Almost every track in this game consists of a mash-up (two popular tunes mixed together to create something you've never heard before). This offers a fresh take on familiar songs, which will make anyone who may just be sitting around listening to you play enjoy the experience a bit more in addition to making everyone want to dance. I cannot say enough good things about the musical content and depth of this game.
Then you have the controls. They are an entirely new experience; even for those of you who've already become experts at most every other instrument available for play in music games. You'll tap buttons on a spin-able record with one hand while using the other to adjust the fader and perform various other nifty tasks. The complexity seems lacking early on, but the game will quickly throw some serious challenges your way. It's a lot like the focus required to play the drums on Rock Band or Guitar Hero; only with a few more bells and whistles, easier and more responsive controlling, and it's a damn sight more enjoyable (and, mind you, I LOVE playing drums on those other games). There are also two different scratching options, no matter whether you are right or left handed. It really lets the player personalize their experience.
One thing most anyone will be able to appreciate here is the fact that you CANNOT fail. You'll earn more stars for unlocking things the better you play, but the game won't lead you halfway through a song, just to throw curves at you and make you start over. Further, most things are thrown together as collections of setlists; meaning you move directly from one track to another without having to sit through loading screens after each track.
You may experience the occasional failure of the controller to recognize your scratching, or being hypersensitive to the fader slides. But that's really all that hinders this game. And it happens much more rarely than I'm used to with other music games. Is it worth owning? YES. Buy it now. Buy two turntables and a microphone! Your guitar controller may even come in handy from time to time in DJ Hero. Trust me, this is not your average music game.

I am happy and impressed with the shipping, especially since it was all the way from the opposite side of the U.S. This game is so fun and has the best mixes in the game!! Even some classics, like Queen. Thank you so much >:D
