Brought as an additional controller for an old Fat PS3. Came with Controller, USB Dongle, and well written instruction book. Setup was easy and seamless plugged USB Dongle in powered unit on pressed home button on controller and was connected and ready to go. The esthetics of this controller are identical to the OEM controller. Unit was very responsive and played well. The only gripe I have as noted in other reviews is that the controller might be a little to responsive. I play 1st person shooters and it took time to get used to the controller I would aim and the reticle would move past my target each time too fast for me to control but after a couple hours of play you'll get used to get. Overall a good purchase at half the price of the OEM controller.

Obviously if you are looking at this controller you are looking for a cheap replacement for your DualShock 3. You are getting exactly what you are paying for here. My controller arrived quickly, but I noticed a few things off the bat.

-You do have to plug in the USB Bluetooth receiver to get this controller to register with the PS3.

-The joysticks, as noted by other reviewers, are VERY sensitive.

-My controller arrived with the down button on the D-pad and the L1 button not working. I contacted the seller and got offered an RMA and am awaiting a new controller.

This is a good product for a back-up controller (or to give to your Cheetos-loving friend), but I do not recommend it as your primary controller. If you can afford a PS3 you can afford to get a decent controller.

I cannot get the controller to sync wirelessly for more than a couple minutes at a time. I would not buy again.

I paid less than $20 for it and it does work pretty good but I am only a casual gamer. I do not use to play PS3 all the time and 24/7. My only gripe is that I also bought the Energizer Power & Play Charger Station and this controller does not light out so you would not know whether it is fully charged (color green) or still charging (color red). I still rate it as a 5 for it works as it suppose to do except for the minor detail I mentioned.

Product was exactly as described works perfectly and the price is great! I recently bought another controller before this one from a local game store of equal caliber but it was not wireless and I paid a lot more for a wired controller. I highly recommend this product as an advid gamer thanks so much!
