Mainichi Communications Tencho no Igo for PS3 is awesome! It only has 5 trophies to achieve by defeating level 3, 2, 1 kyu and beating the full game. If you go through story mode you'll get all the trophies. The game's hard but it's the best Go game I ever played.

The game has a story-mode, not actually a story-mode because there is no story (but lets call it that anyway). The game let you play as an insei. The weakest the AI is 10 kyu. You start at 10 kyu and play your way through a dan player. If you're a 10 kyu you have to fight against another 10 kyu and win 3-times then fight against an AI opponent in the final round. If you win the final round you get to move on to 9 kyu and face new opponents, if you lose, you have to start over until you win 4 times in a role. Each character you play will give you handicap but the final round you fight without handicap. Once you win you go to the next stage and fight new characters and repeat the same process. Sometimes you may get to a higher level, say 5 kyu, and fight against the same anime character you fought when you were at 10 kyu, this gives the illusion that the AI character also gets stronger and is catching up to you. When you get to dan level you'll see professional characters dress up in suits and old man that look like characters from Hikaru-no-go.

This game also has Go problems to solve and Joseki to practice and downloadable content that can only be bought through a Japanese account. The option in the game are all in Japanese but easy to understand, Here it is in order-

1 Load game

2 Save game

3 Load a game and review a load game or play freely, (choose a level AI or board size or 1 or 2 players.)

4 Play story mode 1you can skip to the final stagedan level but it best to start at the beginning(Play this mode and get 1 to 4 trophy)

5 Play story mode 2the same but you don't see pictures of the character you play (Play this mode to get the last trophy)

6 Go problems

7 Go problems

8 Go problems

9 Go problems

10Play free style (you make and edit your own game. You can switch to play only black stones or white. You can place your stone down and change the color at any time without a redo.)

11 load game (Don't understand why there is 2...yet)

12 Game Option (allows you to turn music or talking off and other stuff, that I do not mess with.)

That's your game option. The game is all in Japanese and if you can't read Japanese you can listen, you can tell if you won by what it (she) says, if you speak Japanese, that is. The game talks every time you place a stone, this is what it says-

When it first starts you'll hear a female voice sayOnegaishimasu

When you place a black stone down she'll sayKuro san no sanmeans black on 3-3 line

Shiro juusan no nanawhite on 13-9 line but you have to know your numbers in Japanese to understand that. It's best just to understand Shiro-white and kuro-black, because at the end she'll call out the stone that lost.

Shiro (WHITE) Kuro (BLACK) no (something something) marimashita (White or black resigm or lost) It's hard to understand her sometimes but the color she says are clearly pronounce. If you can't understand, just look at the chart after the game. It has a cycle and if that cycle is filled white it means you lost if its transparent means you won, if it has a kanji character means you pass that level.

The game is awesome and I play it nonstop. It can be difficult to understand at first but you get used to it. I still don't know what most option do but I don't mess with`em so if anyone decide on getting it don't hesitate. Only con I have is that there is no online-mode where you can play against other people but the AI keeps you well satisfy, it's a wonderful game. If you're going to get it,seriously, the best place to buy this game is from Samurai Japan. You be surprise of their service,it's the best place to buy imported games online, period! You can thank me later. Gombatte Kudasai

I'm very satisfied with these sleeves. I was looking for sleeves that would protect the controllers from sweat and also work with the PlayStation Move Charging Station. The other brands cover the bottom of the controllers and prevent the use of any charging station (without the removal of the sleeves for every charge). These sleeves come down only far enough to to meet the lip of the Sony charger and also not cover the controller's charging indicator light. They are a snug fit but are easy to put on since both ends are open. There are no ridges but the sleeves are tacky enough to not slip in my hands. There was a silicon smell and washing with soap did not help. After sitting a couple of days in the the Tide detergent box the smell is gone. They are now Tide fresh. I had also ordered the blue ones but I had to return them to Amazon because the package had 3 navigation sleeves and 1 move sleeve, instead of 2 and 2. There are black ones now so I'll probably get those.

I got it in the mail not expecting much but was very surprised to be in love with this skin. It feels like a whole new controller, I hope it lasts long!

This PS3 Controller skin was not what is pictured, so if your looking for a plain skin cover this is not it. This is the one that "mycarryingcase" sells that's pictured with ridges on the side, thats what this one is. I had bought some during the christmas holidays for my nephews, and fit quite well don't get me wrong. But i have one controller skin i bought at a Target store and its very plain and simple but does the job well. I thought i was getting a plain and simple one but i was wrong. So somebody needs to get the picture corrected. again very good product just complaining about the presentation.

Thank You

Lets be clear, you won't be using this to play the drums in your night band. This is budget drum throne, build solidly enough to support adults, but not something that is high in comfort or performance.

It's a vinyl covered seat, with standard foam padding. You will find the same construction type in something like a bar stool you would buy from target.

My biggest complaint is slight wobble or give once assembled. This is a design issue as the throne allows you to swivel, but it's a basic bolt mechanism.

A real drum throne with comfort and smooth swivel will cost hundreds of dollars. But for only 3-4 songs at a time this Rock Throne gets the job done.

Just be sure to budget your expectations along with your wallet.

I bought this thinking that it would be a good replacement for the hard, dining-room chair I've been using to play the drums for Rock Band 2. When I took it out of the box, put it together, (which, by the way, wasn't at all difficult) and sat down in it, I was slightly disappointed. It felt sturdy, (which is important because I weigh about 220) but the seat wobbled a bit. After playing a set or two on Rock Band, (about 20 minutes of play) I was really disappointed; my butt was already hurting. It became obvious that the seat just wasn't big enough to support me comfortably, and I would never be able to play for extended periods of time. I was better off using the dining-room chair.

This feels very sterdy and cushion is sufficiant. I'm 210 and don't feel like it has a problem handling my weight. This should compliment any one's Rock Band or Guitar Hero World Tour sessions.

This is a big joke. The stool will not stay together if you move it at all. I tighten the wingnut every time we play. It's not a tight fit (wobbles a lot) and the stool doesn't set high enough for me to play.

Bad news.

Didnt expect this game to be so fun. Ill go through some pros and cons of the game.

Pros:

Very Nice Graphics, much better than the Saints Row game series.

Great Storyline.

Open world envirnment.

Hours of fun, dosent get old fast because of the endless side missions.

AIRJACKING, this is the #1 pro for this game, it is and awesome feature that should be in all open world games.

Controls are very smooth and easy... no interface problems works great.

Cons

Cant kill people on the streets, cant kill cops. If you shoot a cop he will spin around and start shooting at you again. You can blow up their cars but they'll just stand up like that didnt hurt them. You can only kill gang members and you can only find gang members during a mission. If you shoot a person on the street you will instantly get 3-4 stars and the person wont even be affected by it. Gunplay is not the games strongpoint.

To familiar, it features a star system just like gta determined by what youve done you will get a certain amount of stars then you will get cops after you who you cant kill. If you get more than 3 stars its impossible to get away from the cops.

The Game does have great graphics but vin diseal looks like a patato he was not rendered good.

overall it gets a 4 out of 5 stars because gta and saints row are funner.

I am an avid gamer. I watched/read some reviews on Wheelman and found out it was supposed to be Ok. I held off purchasing until I downloaded a demo from PSN, and I loved it! I played it through 3 times. The graphics are great and the gameplay style is well put together. Personally, I find the voice acting amazing and even though the story is confusing it is definitely intriguing. The gameplay style is open world and GTA like but don't take that the wrong way, this game is nothing like GTA (violence, etc.). I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who wants a unique gaming experience.

I don't understand the other reviews.. This game is a pretty fun one.. I really had a good time playing this.. Graphs and story are not perfect, but ok.. You will find lots of missings if you compare with GTA IV (like not so many cars, not too long playability, not so realistic etc), but this comparison is unnecessary. I believe the game makers could have made the game more realistic like GTA, but they decided to choose to be more on the fun side and less on the reality.. Overall, all games are intended for fun...

Both my sons have been talking about this game for awhile. My younger son got a playstation 3 and this game for chistmas and both my sons have played it quit a bit. Would reccomend.

Wheelman is far from perfect but it can still be a lot of fun. It's almost like Driver meets Hulk. You go around in Barcelona doing missions, racing, destroying the city, and this is surprisingly fun because of the ability to smash into things using the right joystick. But no, you don't just hit the cars and they crash into a wall, there is a ridiculous barrel roll followed by an over the top explosion! This is what makes Wheelman stand out a bit more. There are also on foot missions that are mediocre but not unplayable. The good news is that there really aren't very many of these missions.

The graphics vary from good to bad. The city itself looks quite good but the people look terrible. I almost thought I was playing a Playstation 2 game at times.

At the end of the day I would say this game is worth it if you're a fan of arcade style racing, over the top explosions, and you can get it for the right price. $20 is worth it.

I really enjoy this headset even though it is very basic. It's great that you can attach the ring around your neck which also has a mic at the end of the band. The mic picks up my voice really well but also picks up anything else in the room. The ear piece fits perfectly in my ear but I've noticed that it projects the volume a little loud and because it doesn't have a volume control button, this can be problematic. The USB cord is over 13 feet long so i can move all around the room with it still being on. What i dont like about the headset is that it is very basic. No mute button, which is a must for most gaming headsets, same with a volume control. Last gripe i have is that i noticed when testing my voice through the PS3 accessory control setup is that it sounds a beeping noise i guess to acknowledge that it is on. With two of my friends that i ave tested it with, they say that it is very faint but still, why would it do that? I got this on sale for $20 dollars and i'm really pleased with it. According to my friends, they say my voice sounds clear as day and same with the receiving end.

Pros:

great cord length

Great design

comfortable

Cons:

Very basicno mute button, volume control

could put padding on the end of the neck ring

Just got this item and I have to say, I was anticipating something that was a little more then what I got. Now don't get me wrong, this is a good item, but I thought it would help eliminate the outside noise that you can hear all too well when using a regular Bluetooth headset. Having got this little gripe out of the way, let's break down the item.

Pros

-----

1. Comfort-I give this a solid 4 stars for comfort. Only the very ends of the Headset, where the mic is located, actually have any force against the neck. Put one hand on top of the other and set them in your lap, that about how much pressure you would feel, so this is very comfortable. As for the ear piece, it's light and while it looks like it would be bulky or awkward, it was obviously well designed. I barely feel it in my ear, yet it gives clear sound at a good volume level. And even with the piece in my ear, I can clearly hear someone talking to me out of that same ear.

2. Clarity -Here I have to break this down into two sections. First is the clarity of the mic. Having done a quick initial test recording of normal speech, as well as whispering, it was easy to hear my voice in each case. However, if you mumble your words or don't pronounce them too clearly, it could be a bit difficult for your team to hear the correct words. I give the mic 3 stars. (side note){Yes, I said recording. I plugged the headset into my computer first, just to see if it would work, and it functioned perfectly.}

-For the earpiece, clarity is still pretty decent. Listening to me own voice is fine, but if your an audiophile, you wouldn't want to listen to music with this. (If your an audiophile and you like listening to music with this earpiece, your not an audiophile at all, stop lying to yourself.) For plain ol' comm use, I give this 3.5 stars.

3. Ease of Use -The cord is just as advertised. In a word, massive. I could walk almost across my living room and forget about the wire most of the way, till it tugged the USB out of the port. And even using the headset with my computer, it was a simple PlugandPlay. Nothing to worry about later, no disks to lose, just sweet, sweet gaming. 4 stars.

Cons

----

1. Outside Noise -Now as I noted before, this thing does still pick up some ambient sounds. Don't expect to be able to play and only ever have your voice be heard over the comm system. That being said, I bought the headset hoping for no outside sound being picked up, so I'm kinda disappointed. Not enough to send this back, but be aware of the limitations of something that, considering what a real throat mic goes for, can be considered cheap.

2. Cord -Honestly, I first unwound the cord, and then had to keep unwinding. I took for granted just how long this thing really is, use a tape measure to see how far 13 ft really is, if you don't already know. Your going to want some way to keep the cord in check, even while your using it. A rubber band or even the twist-tie that it comes packaged with should work just fine, though I recommend a CableCuff myself. I use the small ones for most of my small electronics wires, they work like a charm with just about everything, this monster cord included. The real reason I consider so much cord to be con is because they don't give a good way to keep it out of your way. Unless your sitting near a wall or something, there's a good chance someone could trip over the cord and either yank the headset off your neck, or even damage the cord. A little care is more then enough to combat this problem though, so it's not a major pain in the neck. (Joke intended)

Overview

----

The long cord is a mixed blessing, and this is a cheap member if it's product family. That being said, it's still a good buy, and it doesn't need constant charging like a well-used Bluetooth will. Even if I don't always use this, it's a good backup for if my Bluetooth fails, or if I need to charge the wireless headset. A solid buy if your looking for a good gaming mic.

3.5 stars overall.

This came fast and was a birthday gift for my son. It took a little while to get it set up, and all you can hear in the headphones is the talking, you will have to play the background sound/music through your regular speakers.

One day he got up and touched it and due to dry winter weather he shocked it and it was fried after that. So be careful with this when you go to touch it, Touch something else first.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The Electro-Harmonix Overdrive pedal plugs into a RockBand 2 guitar controller and allows the user to go into overdrive mode by clicking the pedal with his or her while playing, as opposed to lifting the neck of the guitar, which is the usual method of invoking overdrive mode. For those unfamiliar with Rock Band, overdrive mode is a temporary effect where the user earns more than the usual number of points for successful play.

I suppose there are two reasons why one might want to use this functionality. Most importantly, it adds to the fantasy of being a rock star. This pedal looks like a real guitar pedal, and I definitely feel like I'm kicking up the song a notch when I stamp on it. However, it should be noted that while a real guitar pedal would alter the sound of the guitar when activated, this pedal only turns on a point bonus. The only actual change in sound when you turn on overdrive are the cheers that erupt from your virtual crowd.

Using the pedal to trigger overdrive might be easier for some people than the default method of lifting the neck of the guitar. However, while it is true that lifting the guitar can sometimes be difficult while playing, I found using the pedal to be even more distracting. There were times when I needed to look down in order to find the pedal. Furthermore, it was a little bit uncomfortable to click the pedal in bare feet (maybe not such an uncommon state of dress for your average RockBand champion), and that took my attention off the game screen.

To sum up, this is by no means a necessary addition to your Rock Band setup, and it won't make going into overdrive mode any easier, but this could be some nice icing on the cake of your rock star fantasy.

Hi everyone, here's just a thought for you all and it works too. Why go out and buy this Harmonix Overdrive Pedal from Mad Catz (or any other supplier) when your foot pedal for your drums DOES THE SAME THING and guess what, if you already bought the "whole" band kit... then that means you already have the foot pedal. It also works with the new keyboard (piano) too. I know I have tried this out. If you don't have the "whole" band kit then it's cheap to buy a foot pedal like that from ANY GAMING STORE then too.

So save your money and use your drum foot pedal. Also like one comment that was made about how sometimes you have to look down to see where it is to step on it, well for us that have the drum pedal... YOU can't miss it!!! :)

You could also do what I did and go out and buy a cord that attaches to one end of the plug on the pedal and then the other goes to the guitar (or keyboard) to EXTEND the length of the cord to give you more playing area and that only cost a few dollars also from your nearest Wal-mart or Radioshack!

Hope this helps all you band members, because for me here in CANADA we can't order it or buy it unless we live in a major city and then the cost of our money to the states exchange rate and also now they could withhold our package... So save yourselves the trouble and buy or use the DRUM FOOT PEDAL... THANKS

Can't complain about this. It's good to go out of the box and works great. Mini-delay to activate overdrive but it is barely noticeable. If you want to shred and not mess up your rhythm when u activate overdrive, buy this. It limits your free space but that shouldn't be an issue if this is something you're looking to buy.

A simple device to assist in Playing Rock Band, It does what it says, lets you use your foot to trigger Overdrive instead of tilting the guitar or hitting Select. Good when you have trouble with dropping notes while swinging the guitar.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I was actually pretty surprised at how something this simple could improve game play. The accelerometers in the guitars are just not very reliable and so when you get past a certain basic skill level, it's much more fun to pretend like you are stomping on a stomp box where you don't have to worry about your hands when you want to deploy. My only request is that going forward it would be better to turn off the accelerometer based star power when this bad boy is plugged in.

The basic storyline for El Shaddai is you play as Enoch, a priest sent by heaven to seek out seven fallen angels who have abandoned God and fled to Earth to capture them before God floods the Earth. The story can be very confusing throughout the game and I wasn't sure what was going on for a lot of the game but it's the music and the visuals that make this game shine.

El Shaddai is visually stunning and different than any other game I have played before which caught my attention. Each level's design changes drastically and never left me bored with what I had to look at. The music is very good as well.

Combat is hack and slash in the same vein as God of War, Dante's Inferno, and Devil May Cry but more simple. You start the game off barehanded and gradually get three different weapons to steal from enemies. Attacking is about as simple as it comes since you just have one button to press and then can do two different moves with each weapons which just involve a press of two buttons. To become effective at combat you have to time your button presses and make sure you are using the correct weapon since each weapon has a weakness to a different one. You can of course go through the entire game and try sticking to your favorite but combat will take longer that way.

Overall I would say the game was worth the purchase and would recommend it to people who are interested in something different to play. The visuals and music are both stunning, game play is fun and can be challenging as well but if you are looking for an amazing story than this might not be your first choice since it can be confusing.

This game is inspired by the Biblical character Enoch, and in the game he is sent to Earth to bring back the souls of 7 fallen angels to remove their influence so that there is not another great flood. Despite its inspiration, the game merely uses the Bible (and other ancient religious texts) as source material for the fictional (and often psychedelic) world; it's definitely not preachy, and some very religious/conservative folk may even find some of the references/jokes/suggestions offensive. (Lucifel talks on a cell phone to God, jokes about being mistaken for God, etc.)

On the surface, El Shaddai is an action/platform game offering a mix of 3D combat (i.e. God of War, Soul Reaver, etc.) with 2D platform elements (Mega Man, Super Mario Bros, etc.) and offering a variance of art styles between each stage. Controls are simple: there's jump, attack, block, and "purify," the latter of which will be detailed later. (The controls are also programmable, which is really a feature all games should have.) Gameplay in the 3D world largely consists of traversing (mostly) linear areas (there are a few branching paths, and some side/hidden areas), and being locked into combat arenas where the player will have to defeat a variety of enemies before continuing to the obligatory boss. (There is also another style of gameplay featured in one level, but I won't spoil the surprise.) Be prepared for a few instances where gameplay is minimized for cinematic effect or for transition between areas, as seen in games like the Metal Gear Solid series. (Slow walking areas, etc.)

Combat is based off a concept which is popular amongst many Japanese games: Roshambo, or Rock, Paper, Scissors. There are three weapon types, and each weapon is respectively weak to one and strong against another. Wielding a different weapon not only changes your attack patterns and available combos, but it also changes the way in which your character traverses the world; the "heavy" weapon makes the wielder run slower, yet offers mobile defense; the "light" weapon causes the wielder to be more quick, and also offers additional, expanded movement options, etc. However (unlike God of War) the player does not select weapons on-the-fly from their inventory; weapons are only available directly from enemies, where the player has to steal them during key moments of weakness. These weapons become corrupted after a period of use, thus reducing their efficacy in battle; to combat this, Enoch is able to "purify" his weapons, but it takes time, and leaves the character vulnerable to attack for a moment. The other solution to weapon corruption is stealing another weapon, which results in automatic weapon purification and immunity from attack.

Despite the simple controls, combat can become highly tactical, especially on difficulty levels "Normal" and above; "Easy" lends itself to wanton, mindless, button-mashing throughout the entirety of the game. The game leaves attack combinations to be discovered by the player, and there are quite a few to be had just by varying the rhythm of button-pressing. Nearly every enemy has (with the exception of a few incidental, unarmed foes like Sprites) a weakness according to the Roshambo-style rules, yet that becomes less obvious when presented with enemies (such as bosses) which are not specifically wielding one of the three weapons.

One of the highlights of this game is that each area has its own art style; level and character art may appear as a surreal watercolor painting in one level, cell-shaded 3D (i.e. Katamari Damacy) in another level, and realistic-looking, futuristic cityscapes in another. The music varies quite a bit, too, as skirmishes are sometimes punctuated with the token intense (orchestral) video game music, while other encounters may feature a jazzier soundtrack; some areas have ambient music, while one area in particular has African choral music. Every new section in El Shaddai is a new visual and aural experience. Truly, this game is almost worth the (now very low) price just to see the variance of artistic style between levels. I was especially impressed by seeing the outside of the tower for the first time; it was in such stark contrast to anything I had seen before in the game, and the neon fireworks in the background with the African chorus singing below the Tron-like walkways really let me know that I should leave my expectations behind.

Unfortunately, the visual style of the game -coupled with the inability of the player to control the camera -can result in pitfalls during the 3D platforming sequences; sometimes it's a little hard to tell where a platform is, and whether or not Enoch is positioned correctly to land upon it. Not being able to control the camera at all makes this a deadly combination, as it would have been nice to be able to make fine adjustments with the right analog stick. In fact, El Shaddai makes absolutely no use of the right analog stick; if there is one thing game designers working in this genre should take away from a fixed-perspective action game (like God of War), it is the ability to use the right analog stick for evasion. Fortunately, pitfalls are of little consequence in this game, as the player usually starts off pretty close to where they fell, with no discernable penalty unless the falls become numerous.

El Shaddai is pretty light on penalty overall, actually; death in combat does not result in an immediate "Game Over," as Enoch can be revived with button-mashing during a limited period after death. This button mashing becomes progressively more demanding with each additional area death, until it eventually seems impossible to mash the buttons fast enough before having to reload. (For me that threshold was around the 6th revival.) Even so, the game auto-saves frequently, so most deaths are just not that debilitating. Even items collected before death are retained, making haphazard, suicide-style play a viable strategy to obtain some of these collectibles.

Collectibles are hidden well throughout the game, and if anything the automatic camera and sometimes painterly art-style make finding some of these items (and areas) a real challenge; branching paths are not always obvious, and sometimes the camera does not refocus on the new path until the player is practically on top of it. Only truly adventurous and imaginative players will find all the collectibles on their first play-through.

There is plenty of re-play value beyond the initial 10-15 hour story as well; a certain group of collectibles unlock a superior suit of armor for Enoch, and just beating the game for the first time unlocks new options and armor sets as well. The higher difficulty levels definitely demand mastery of the combat controls, as making it through those elevated difficulty levels without mastering blocking and counter-attacking is futile. I would have preferred that all difficulty levels be available at the start of the game, but the highest two are only unlocked after beating the game on "Easy" or "Normal" difficulty.

Overall I enjoyed El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron as a unique action game; the combat controls were simple to learn (yet difficult to master), game-play was generally tight and responsive, some battles were genuinely challenging, and the audio/visual aspect of the game is positively unforgettable. To all those people who thought this was going to be a $15 downloadable title: now is your chance, and it's totally worth the price right now. If you enjoy action games like this and are willing to put your expectations aside: there is no reason not to enjoy this game, and I know that some of it left an indelible impression on me. It's certainly not perfect, and some of it is quirky, but it's still a very memorable and enjoyable game.

I was hyped when I saw the initial trailer for this game and was blown away by the crisp looking frame rate, art style and music. I'm a fan of games like okami, odinsphere and others that have their own unique flair and dare to stand out from the crowd with something new. El Shaddai, while beautiful, failed horribly to deliver on every other aspect. The story is there but not as fleshed out as it should have been and is non-sensical at times. Gameplay consists of one attack button, one jump button and block. At first I thought there were two jump/block buttons but they both essentially do the same thing with the one exception of the jump+guard/jump+attack button presses which still do little to add to the shallow and repetitive combat.

If you hated running through a corridor in Final fantasy 13 repeatedly and killing a small variation of enemies then you will HATE this game. I pushed myself onward until I beat the game telling myself maybe it will be different but it doesnt get any better. Each level consists of running through a linear pathway whether its 2D or 3D... killing enemies in an enclosed area...rinse/repeat until you encounter boss.

The music was my other gripe. I loved the music i saw in the trailer which is a single track on the game and then the rest seems pretty much like forgettable elevator music. I will say I've been spoiled by games like demon's souls that have musical scores that are equally as characteristic and layered as the game is... El Shadai's is ...just bland most the time.

I would like to end with the fact that this is just my opinion, some people I have seen on various message boards thoroughly enjoyed it, I didn't.

My advice to anyone even considering plunking down 60$ of their hard earned cash on this short and half baked game would be to download the demo first from PSN, Rent it or wait until the price drops.

This game is surprisingly good. I didn't like the demo but after several price drops and an amazon gift card I took the chance and picked it up. I'm glad I did. This is a fantastic overall experience. The visual design is gorgeous. The sound is pleasing, the story is enjoyable and the gameplay is fun. Overall I really liked this game and it will forever have a place on my shelf as one of the most unique games ever made.

Want El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron Discount?

I haven't finished the game yet, which is good, I like good 60 hours game play, unlike some other games.

Pros:

1. Awesome graphic, feels like watching a movie and not really playing a game.

2. Many gameplay style from traditional hashing and slicing to Little Big Planet-like jumping and maze running to motorcycle racing game. It is like many games in one package.

3. I love the combo moves. It may take a little bit to master it, but it won't take long

4. Very nice background music.

Cons:

1. Poor English dub. Apparantly, not much attention has been paid to dubbing the game, as it is literal translation from Japanese to English and ignoring actual timing of the animation, so you will see the character moving his mouth but no words coming out.

Brought as an additional controller for an old Fat PS3. Came with Controller, USB Dongle, and well written instruction book. Setup was easy and seamless plugged USB Dongle in powered unit on pressed home button on controller and was connected and ready to go. The esthetics of this controller are identical to the OEM controller. Unit was very responsive and played well. The only gripe I have as noted in other reviews is that the controller might be a little to responsive. I play 1st person shooters and it took time to get used to the controller I would aim and the reticle would move past my target each time too fast for me to control but after a couple hours of play you'll get used to get. Overall a good purchase at half the price of the OEM controller.

Obviously if you are looking at this controller you are looking for a cheap replacement for your DualShock 3. You are getting exactly what you are paying for here. My controller arrived quickly, but I noticed a few things off the bat.

-You do have to plug in the USB Bluetooth receiver to get this controller to register with the PS3.

-The joysticks, as noted by other reviewers, are VERY sensitive.

-My controller arrived with the down button on the D-pad and the L1 button not working. I contacted the seller and got offered an RMA and am awaiting a new controller.

This is a good product for a back-up controller (or to give to your Cheetos-loving friend), but I do not recommend it as your primary controller. If you can afford a PS3 you can afford to get a decent controller.

I cannot get the controller to sync wirelessly for more than a couple minutes at a time. I would not buy again.

I paid less than $20 for it and it does work pretty good but I am only a casual gamer. I do not use to play PS3 all the time and 24/7. My only gripe is that I also bought the Energizer Power & Play Charger Station and this controller does not light out so you would not know whether it is fully charged (color green) or still charging (color red). I still rate it as a 5 for it works as it suppose to do except for the minor detail I mentioned.

Product was exactly as described works perfectly and the price is great! I recently bought another controller before this one from a local game store of equal caliber but it was not wireless and I paid a lot more for a wired controller. I highly recommend this product as an advid gamer thanks so much!

I for one love to snipe in games and have all the patience in the world to stratigically plan out my moves. For me, it's more gratifying than the whole "run and gun." With that being said, this game will fulfill your craving if that's what you enjoy doing. You need to learn to plant tripwires, mines and throw rocks to get your enemies to look in another direction so you can sneak past. I've killed Hitler a couple times (only a perk for those that pre-ordered) and I've played the demo about 4 times and liked it enough to buy it. It still holds up. I've played maybe halfway through the campaign thus far and my only gripe at this point is when you're reloading your weapon and in the line of fire, if you're prone, you're stuck in your position til you're done reloading. If you're being fired upon, there's a good chance you'll die before you're done reloading. I suppose that's realistic, though. Also, I'm kinda bummed that I can't switch out my main rifle until a new mission starts. You can't switch it out like you can your machine gun or sidearm. At least that's what I've encountered. The graphics are pretty good and you can somewhat control the AI. If you custom pick the harder settings, the AI will work against you. Your enemies will make more of an effort to hide and they'll be more likely to seek you out. I don't know why you wouldn't pick the most realistic setting for the shots fired. You want the elevation and windage to be affected. I mean, that is why you would want a quality sniper game, right? You can disable that and make it so the bullet hits whatever your crosshairs are on, but there's no challenge or realism to that. Everyone knows about the kill-cam. That hasn't gotten old yet. I'm super picky about shooter games. I only buy a couple games a year and most often when I try something from a difference franchise, I'm disappointed. I'll say that this is the most enjoyable "new" game I've tried in quite awhile. I'm 31 and don't spend much time on games anymore. I'm an avid target shooter in real life and setting the realism of your sights to "realistic" will put forth a challenge that is somewhat similar to how it really is. Luckily, shooting a Mosin in this game won't leave a softball size bruise on your shoulder like it does in real life! ;-)

On an added note, you can't pause and save the game. It saves when it wants to. Sometimes I may be in a mission, but I don't have time to finish it. Although I've reached checkpoints, if I don't finish the mission, but I shut down the system, I've got the restart the entire mission when I resume later. C'mon now. That's just not cool. Checkpoints are pretty much only good for if you die. Don't start a mission you don't intend on finishing. I learned this the hard way during some of the lengthier missions.

UPDATE: Some people complain that the AI is too aware of your presence. I can say that I make a mission stretch anywhere between 60-90 minutes. That may seem long, but this is a sniper game and it's about strategy and patience. If it's taking you half that time to finish the mission, then guess what... You're probably rushing it, hence the reason they're aware of you so easily. You have to learn to tip-toe around, shoot when bombs in the distance are going off or bells are chiming. You have to wait for these moments so your shots aren't detected by others. If you do it right, you can get through an entire map without anyone ever being alerted of you and making you run for your life. Take that into consideration. You can't treat this game like you would CoD or BF. That's what makes it fun, though. It's different! Yes, the saving aspect sucks, but that too makes it more challenging. Just be aware of it is all. It's not worth turning your back on the game because of it.

If you like playing the role of sniper, this is an excellent game! It's crazy hard even at the "normal" level (for me at least) so I had to switch to the easy level. The enemies at the normal level seem to get alerted to you VERY easily no matter how long you take, how sneaky you are, or how quiet. Im sure as you ratchet the difficulty up, it's even worse (or better for those who like a challenge). The sniper animations when you place a great shot are wicked. The difficulty of making the shot depends on the difficulty level you are on from no calibrations to super-fine tuning and taking into account all variables (wind, distance, etc). I typically play just for fun so a super challenging experience isn't what Im looking for. I want recreation, not frustration. That being said, it seems as if this game caters to all types of players in the sense of how challenging you want the game. I'm glad I purchased it and after I complete the game on easy, I like it so much I may ratchet the difficulty up a notch and replay it. It's that cool.

Forget the average reviews this game is getting from gaming media outlets. If you like to play stealthy 'slow pace' Sniping type gameplay there's nothing close to this game on the market. Run and gun/mindless shooter fans need not apply.

Game reminds me of sniper ghost warrior, except placed back in WW2. So far this seems like a legit shooter with a strategy aspect to it. First thing I noticed is the delay in interaction choices between item pickups and obstacle hopping. Sometimes having to mash the buttons to even pick up a body or hop over a wall. Sound could be a little bit better do to the fact of everytime you run it sounds like your trotting through a hallway made of echoes. Other than those few things I've seen the combat part to the game is nicely done. And the slow mo kill shots are epic. From end of barrel to end of their skulls. The detail that went into this mechanic of the game was superb. Seems like a copy of mortal combats xray when you break bones. And not to mention the enemy ai is decent I've died several times due to sneaky lil Nazi's. Note: trip wires are your bff. Overall, if you like WW2 genre games with sniper play added in and nice exploding craniums. Then I suggest this game.

Big explosions, whizzing bullets, screaming comrades, and frantic shootouts are your typical ingredients to most military shooters. It's a rare treat when we take the battlefield backdoor and examine stealthier means to combat. War torn Germany proves to be the perfect playground for sneaking around and lining up headshots. It's not to say that being a sniper is short of spectacles. The newly introduced X-Ray cam shows the sniper's .50 caliber bullet shred the targets' insides in glorious slow motion. The sniper's approach might be subtle, but his executions are gruesome.

The Sniper Elite franchise returns with a reboot, rather than a sequel, and brings surprisingly addictive gameplay, unique enough to hold its ground when facing veterans of the genre.

The Good

X-Ray Cam never gets old

Addictive gameplay

Be stealthy or shoot everything in sight

The Bad

AI has superhuman vision

Outside the sniping, controls can be clunky

Enemy AI can be frustratingly dumb

You play as OSS officer Karl Fairburne who's sent to Berlin in 1945 to track key figures involved in the V-2 ballistic missile development. The campaign references USA's plan (Operation Paperclip) to recruit Nazi-German Scientists for employment in the aftermath of World War II. Trite story elements bring nothing new to the table, but varied mission objectives provide plenty of sneaking and sniping opportunities: infiltrating heavily guarded facilities, assassinating Nazi targets, and disabling military weaponry. You can take the silent route or pick a hiding spot and let hell break loose.

The levels follow your typical point A to point B format, but they provide several paths to flanking your opponents. You're equipped with a silenced pistol, a machine gun, trip wires, grenades, land mines, rocks (for distracting guards), and of course your deadly sniper rifle. Your varied arsenal is a catalyst for creative bloodshed, but it's a shame that stealth feels unrefined and clumsy. Before making your first move, you can examine the environment with your binoculars and tag enemies for easier kills. Unfortunately, regardless of your position, every soldier seems to know your exact location once the first shot is fired. This oftentimes takes away from your careful planning and you're left with a game of whack-a-mole.

The enemy AI is aggravatingly inconsistent. You'll see enemies welcome your bullets with open arms while others have super human vision, spotting you from a mile away. Sneaking though buildings is where stealth suffers the most. Take a room with three guards for example, where one is looking out the window. You can easily shoot two krauts without the third guy ever reacting. Other times, you'll hear enemies storming at you from the distance, even though you're quietly prone on the floor. This isn't to say that stealth is entirely broken or useless. You can certainly crawl your way thought the majority of levels undetected, but it's a shame that random AI spasms break the gameplay tempo.

Sniper Elite V2 is a blast to play. Critical shots are highlighted with a slow motion X-Ray Cam that showcases what happens when a bullet tears though an enemy's body. Teeth shatter, organs explode, limbs fly it's a blood bath. The shooting feels precise and the realism of bullet ballistics is determined by the game's difficulty setting. Playing on casual removes environmental effects on the bullet. Your bullet will land exactly where your reticle points, so this is a welcome setting for newcomers to sniper simulations. Raising the difficulty brings a whole new level of authenticity to the gameplay. Taking gravity, velocity, bullet penetration, wind, and aim stability into account is quite challenging when you have a gang of Nazis breathing down your neck. Furthermore, several levels have tanks and enemy vehicles patrolling the area. They can be taken out by shooting their gas tanks, killing everyone in the blast radius.

As fun as the sniping is, using your machine gun for close-range combat feels gawky and buggy. I know the sniper is all about, well, sniping, but you think he'd grasp the basics of using other firearms sometimes it feels like he's shooting with his feet. Luckily, these encounters are seldom and you mainly rely on your sharpshooter skills.

Visually, the game has nicely rendered, authentic environments. The streets of Berlin are filled with rubble and you get a detailed area overview when the camera shifts to slow motion as it follows the bullet to its target. Character models look decent enough, but it's the death animations that steal the show. Depending on where you hit the target, the enemy reacts distinctively. It's reminiscent of the recent Max Payne game bravo!

The audio is superb! The high-pitched sound of your bullet catching speed and the grotesque shattering of Nazi skulls is thrilling. Sound also plays a substantial role in how you navigate the levels. Unless you are crouching, the echoing of your footsteps attracts nearby soldiers and can blow your cover. When sneaking through a building, enemy chatter can reveal their location and give you the upper hand. These are great little touches that complement the gameplay.

Sniper Elite V2 is a rare gem in the military shooter genre. The single player mode is solid, clocking in at about 7+ hours, and you even have a multiplayer component that allows for co-op play. Replay value depends on how much you enjoy the first playthrough, but considering that every mission gives you numerous ways to make your enemies' brains explode, I'd say you have plenty of reasons to revisit the campaign.

Love the show? This is a must. And for all those out there who are horrible at the show.. this is all multiple choice once you buzz in, you're bound to know a few. I am not very good at the TV show and am pleasantly surprised by what I know on here. This is fun and totally worth it.

PS3 version forces local multiplayer to use the same username, so you see "username (0)" and "username (1)" as the player names. It's a little annoying since I've never been able to join an online multiplayer game (lack of players I guess?). Otherwise it's just what I expected, although I honestly enjoyed the Wii version more.
