As I have stated in another review, I'm a casual, sports-only gamer. My son wanted this game and it was a gift to him. We already have FIFA12 and I couldn't see why I would play this game over that. I was wrong. Sure, it's smaller venues and smaller teams but you have more individualized player movements, the action is fast-paced and it's awesome juking out someone and making a great pass and scoring a goal. Keep in mind I have only played on 2-player with him, but we had a blast with the different game modes. I hated that I paid full-price but my son loves Messi and there was a special code for a team involving him by pre-ordering from Amazon. I'm sure this will be discounted by about $20 soon because I just can't see it being a big-seller but when it goes down to $40, it will be nice one to add to your sports gaming collection.

I love the career mode and online features in this game, but i think it only worth $30 dollars. The only problem there is the impact system which causes troubles when players collide

FIFA Street is a surprisingly fun game. I had lower expectations, but the demo put those at rest. The full package has plenty of game modes: 4 of them, to be exact, with the ability to create custom ones should you choose to. There's plenty of teams to choose from and play as (from Serie A, Bundesliga, Barclays Premier League, etc.) and there are loads of Street Teams to open up and create yourself -including a "classic" team filled with classic players. The World Tour mode is a really fun career-style mode, filled with plenty of variation. Overall, there's quite a lot to do in this, plenty of tricks and modes to take up your time.

Unfortunately, FIFA Street does lack a bit of the extra umph it needs to justify a 60-dollar purchase (If you can get it at 40 dollars, I do suggest it!). Though it makes sense with regards to continuity, I don't understand why I can't simply create my own dream teams and play with them. Or, perhaps, import my player into a professional team. Likewise, a lot of players are missing from the professional teams. Furthermore, the arcadey feel of the game does leave more to be desired and seems as if it could eventually get boring. I've yet to get bored with the game, but I find myself going back to FIFA 12 frequently for its different experience. Small things here and there will annoy plenty of hardcore FIFA enthusiasts, but all in all FIFA Street is an excellent pick-up-and-play game, regardless of your level of fanaticism.

FIFA Street is a great game, but it does lack a bit, unfortunately. Regardless, I highly recommend it for the FIFA enthusiast or for anyone looking for a fun arcadey experience.

UPDATE: Not being able to play as official teams online really does suck, and kills the longevity of the game life. Moreover, the game definitely gets a little more boring through time.
