while I agree with most folks that this is an excellent package including over 30 DLC packs including all three expansions (the trouble with clones, Genki bowl, and gangstas in space)
the Big Problem I have here is they did NOT INCLUDE:
The Bloodsucker Pack (so you have to rebuy it again 1.99) and the Unlockable Pack is another 1.99. while this is not a deal breaker for me, if you're including ALL DLC and stating that on the package I shouldn't have to download anything nor pay for new dlc. also the Online Pass is Different from SR3 so you will need to download it again (code is provided) however if you buy it used, you will need to buy this (9.99) otherwise I noticed a few performance issues right off the bat including the main screen lagging. again, not a deal breaker but I wish they had taken some time to polish it up a tad.
overall it's a fantastic game with loads of comedic writing
it just has a few minor flaws I felt you should know about.
I will not fully review the game since that has been done to death I
am mainly reviewing the new product and informing about the DLC issue.
A Definate Must Buy for all SR3 Fans especally those that want the dlc on disc.
Graphics: 5 stars
Sound: (funny one liners) good tunes 5 stars
Gameplay: easy to control and simple to learn 5 stars
Fun: one of the most fun silly games ever 5 stars easily
Overall: though there's a few flaws in this new package, it's a 5 star deal!
UPDATE: after playing for a few more hours I can now confirm
all other dlc packs Except the one with the Hoverbike (I have not found the bike yet) but as you progress into the game all the unlocks show up (especally at your 1st crib) just thought I'd add this update. only the two I listed at the beginning of this review must be re-bought for 1.99 each.
UPDATE #2 I can now Confirm the Hoverbike as well. you need a
Helipad before you can access this DLC so no worries it's really there.

I'm late to jump onto the Saints Row bandwagon but whatever. I will preface by saying that I played Saints Row 2 before I played this game and share some of the anomosity some gamers have sent its way. While Saints Row 2 was the story of the Saints trying to wrestle control of Stilwater from 3 very different rival gangs each with their own story, Saints Row 3 drops our crew into Steelport...I don't really know why since it's never really explained. The game has decided to become very over the top and I knew this going in which is probably why I enjoyed it more than some other people who wanted something more akin to SR2.Gameplay and controls are much like GTA4 but felt like they operated smoother for me. The storyline is completely ridiculous and I have to say I did not feel the same level of accomplishment as I did when I finished SR2. All that said the game is still very fun. The ridiculous storyline kept me going until the end and the homage to some old school games was welcome.
Buy Saints Row the Third - The Full Package Now
Let's just get this out there right now: Saints Row the Third is an amazing game. The amount of insane, over the top, awesome, and sometimes downright brutal things that you can do is quite staggering. Streak through the city streets while invincible (provided the proper ability is picked of course), the police firing rockets harmlessly at you? Yup, can do it. Play as a TOILET in a virtual world? Yeah that's there too. Fall thousands of feet in the air and land safely (again, relates to some abilities) on the ground? How about firing a megaman cannon at a bunch of mascots? Using a mind-control octopus on luchadores? All of that and MUCH more can be done in the game. Also; if memory serves right, this is the first Saints to offer choices in a way. During certain missions, you'll be able to pick what you want to do, and get a reward accordingly. A DLC not included in the "full" package (there are two) offers BOTH rewards for all choices in the game which sort of ruins the idea yes, BUT should one not download it, then the the aspect of there being a choice (as opposed to being handed two rewards) is still there.
As always, character and vehicle customization is rather diverse. You can go from buff blue Amazoness one minute to a small, meek orange man the next, and everything in between. The customization is rich enough that the online community at the saints row website has characters of all sorts, a fair number of which are based off of popular shows or movies. All that being said, the crib customization seems a bit lacking this time around. You can do some auto-upgrades that just make the buildings taller and dole out more respect or cash, whereas (again, provided my memory is correct) in SR 2 you could customize it a fair amount.
Graphics are pretty good, not necessarily "omg amazing HD tastic" but not bad either. They're like high-middle tier. Sound is great, you can hear pretty much anything and everyone in game including civilians near to you or your car. Music's a bit lacking in choice this time around, and there's no option this time around to go and buy more.
In relation to the previous note (the drawback about the music), there's another drawback this time around. There's no way to replay story missions. Yes, for the clones and gangsta's ones you can (though I believe you have to redo the entire DLC story, instead of picking or choosing levels), but the main storyline you can only redo the last mission. Which is a bit of an annoyance as there are two achievements/trophies relating to Act 1, which requires you to play it twice in order to get.
All in all though it's a great game. I'll go so far as to say it's better than GTA even, and this is coming from a person who loved GTA4. So if you liked that, or Saints Row 2, or just like having goofy awesome fun, then you'll like this game. Just know you might wind up leaving the radio off :P
Oh and P.S trailblazing seems like the only activity who's hard mode wasn't slightly made easier, so it's still annoying as hell
