The majority of the game just seems to be blowing away animals. There needs to be more of a hunting process involved instead of just constant shooting. Playing with my kids last night we must have shot over 100 animals in an hour. Other than that, I like the game. Graphics are very good and the story is pretty cool.

I got this game for my son for Christmas, he was extremely happy with the intense game play, hunting, and graphics of the game. The only down side is, he started the game at 9AM and was done with all levels by 2PM. Since he has replayed the game completely once and has just started on his third time in 24 hours.

The story mode is by far the worst game I've ever played in my life. The controls are frustrating half the time, and the other half the time the only strategy to the game is to sprint to the check point while firing and hope you collect a health and ammo pack along the way. It is not fun at all (less so than the 2011 game).

The only reason I'm giving a second star is for the shooting galleries. But unfortunately to unlock them all you have play the story mode and collect antlers.

Awful. There's no excuse for a product this poor in 2013. If you can't get the controls to work properly don't include them. The only part of the game I enjoyed was (in the beginning) when you're in the truck and just had to fire at attacking animals. Maybe they should have made it an on-rails game like time crisis or regular arcade shooters. The rest of the game where you have to walk around and dodge animals with the control stick is atrocious.
