I would love to write a review on the actual item shown however when I ordered this specific item for my husband for christmas I ended up with a completely different controller. Just a regular solid dark blue (NON LAVA GLOW) controller. In fact this company doesn't even have this particular lava glow controller in stock! Sent it back for a refund of course but was a little irritated as this item was part of a christmas gift set that had to revised at the last minute.

Bright..... the lights are much brighter then i thought they would be. The lava is pretty neat. Not as well made as the sony controller but well worth the money.... great alternative to the sony for bucks. i am very happy with this controller much better then i thought it would be... i highly recommend this product. I really like this controller overall. It's a good extra controller for when people come over and play. The Wire is really long so it doesn't keep you too close to the system. I recently tried to use this on a new popular game for multiplayer, and it did not work with the game. Its the first time I have had issues with it.
