I like this one better than last years primarily because you can modify & paint your rifles & you can also make longer shots. On last years game the longest shot you could make was about 80 yards or so. Every kill had to be from close range, totally unrealistic. This time around there is a premium on long range 1 shot kills especially if you hit the target in the head. My longest kill so far is 220 yards, you know your on target if the game shows your bullet or arrow traveling to it's mark. There's something about firing your shot and having time to jet to the fridge to get a Corona and come back by the time it strikes. Also the terrain is alot more easily navigatable. My issue's with this game: why is there no 3rd person player option instead of always first person. Why must you operate the camera man's camera, your the shooter let the CPU take care of getting the cam shots. Not enough animals on the missions where you have to clear out varmints from landowners property & not a lot of time to kill the animals that are there. I mean it's possible to kill everything on the property well within the time limit but if your someone who likes to camp out and wait for a good one shot kill on everything on the property I think 20 minutes would've been better than ten, maybe they could have put the option of setting your own time limit. In the career mode, you only have two fire from options so basically the game selects where you shoot from & if you shoot a target before your at the selected location, the hunt fails, thats dumb. Also, why is it you can paint your guns but your camo you have on stays the same, thats stupid. In the Big Game Tournaments, you can only hunt the 1 trophy game, that's it. I think anything with antlers should be fair game, these ought to be missions where you take out as much game as you can within the selected time limit & if you get the trophy game as well, that's a huge bonus. Finally what do I have to do to unlock the camo paint for my guns, i can't find that information anywhere :( ...? I beat the game's career mode fairly fast, they could've made it a little longer it's cool though, you can go back and replay all the levels at your leisure to try to better your scores so in that aspect the game is alot of fun & for that reason to me has provided hours of playing perfecting my shots.

Good game with fantastic graphics and landscape. Anyone who loves realistic hunting games should get this. But note that it has only a few single player levels. Overall it is a great game!

Got this game for use with Top Shot Elite rifle as I own Dangerous Hunts 2011. This game is no where near as good, your weapon always appears on screen and even blocks the sight at times. Wish I could get my money back on this game, will end up giving it away.
