Manage to grab a unit of this CE but haven't unbox it yet. Considering the price I paid for it, anyone would hesitate to unbox this CE. Decided to get the game separately and put this CE in the collection shelf. The reason i gotten the US ver in stead of the UK ver is because of the below additions:
US version
1. Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Game for Playstation 3
2. Exclusive DLC 'Golden Mite' and 'Golden Drongo' Familiars
3. Drippy Plush Doll
4. Rare Golden Coin *
5. 300+ Page Hardcover 'The Wizard's Companion' Book
6. Ni No Kuni Game OST *
7. Beautiful Collectors Box (Pure white box with display window) *
UK version
1. Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Game for Playstation 3
2. Exclusive DLC 'Golden Mite' and 'Golden Drongo' Familiars
3. Drippy Plush Doll
4. 300+ Page Hardcover 'The Wizard's Companion' Book
5. Beautiful Collectors Box (Golden yellow box without display window)
Four stars for the beautiful content which I saw in youtube and -1 star for the abnormal CE pricing. I could have gotten few different type of CE with USD380+. Nevertheless this is still a beautiful collector's piece to keep.

I'm basically only writing a review because I felt that the people complaining about the order controversy Namco had on their hands were getting to be a bit too ridiculous and were unnecessarily bringing the score of this fantastic game down.I understand they were cheated out of a great product, but it makes no sense to give that product you love a low score just because the publisher mishandled the situation. What they should be doing is complaining to the actual company rather than seek attention and pity on a product review page.
As for the product, the amount of extras this came with is amazing. I have the North American Wizard's Edition and in addition to the Drippy plush, Wizard's Companion and golden familiars we got 5 watercolor art prints, a 2-track CD and a gold wizard's coin.
I would have bought this even if it came without the latter 3 items, but they are a fantastic addition to this bundle.
The book is the main reason to buy this edition and it does not disappoint. The pages are thick and durable, as is the cover. The parchment style paper used is very beautiful and really sells the idea of it being a how-to-be-a-wizard book. It has beautiful artwork on every page and even comes with 12 short tales about the game's characters. But aside from being a gorgeous prop, it is also a useful tool as it is actually extensively used in-game. So it saves the time of having to click through all the pages within the game. Not to mention, flipping through an actual game prop to help you get through the game feels pretty cool.
The gold coin is gorgeous and has some nice heft to it (definitely not cheap or plastic). The Drippy plush is just as adorable as I imagined it to be, and the prints are something I will have framed one day. The artwork on the disc itself is also very beautiful.
Level-5, Studio Ghibli and Namco have gone to great lengths to create a completely immersive gaming experience with unique yet familiar gameplay, a touching story and backstory of Ghiblaic (yes, I just made that up) proportions, some of the most beautiful artwork I've ever seen in a game, all brought together by an angelic score by the legendary Joe Hisaishi (My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, etc.). All this makes for an unforgettable experience that in my opinion was well worth the money.
Unfortunately this edition was very limited, especially the N.A. version and as a result will usually cost upwards of $350 to $400 to obtain one, but I could not recommend the game itself enough to every one who is a fan of quality games and Studio Ghibli. If you aren't willing/able to pay for the insane price of the W.E. at least do yourself the favor of playing this beautiful work of art.

The game is a wonderful magical adventure that harkens back to the classic JRPG days of the SNES and Playstation ... this collector's edition; however, is nothing more than a slap in the face for true fans of the game. Play Canada is capitalizing on Namco/Bandai's blunder of short supplies in order to turn a ridiculous profit. Why? because they can I guess ... Buy the regular version, don't reward these people for scalping!Read Best Reviews of Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Wizard's Edition Here
I believe most everyone knows the story with this particular product by now. I was one of a MANY who was essentially *robbed* of this product thanks to Namco's complete incompetence at choosing online retailers and actually fulfilling their orders to the ultimate benefit of scammers and price scalpers.Because of their utter disregard for their customers, price scalpers who ordered upwards of *hundreds* of copies of this product with the plan to resell it up to four times more than the asking price were given better service than regular folks who simply wanted to enjoy the product.
I pre-ordered this product the MOMENT it was announced. Come shipping date, I woke up to discover in my email inbox a cancellation notice, send in favor of allowing sellers like Play Canada to sell it for $400 each, in bulk quantities.
I'm sorry, but screw that, and screw Namco Bandai. Leave it to them to completely, utterly ruin the launch of one of the best games of our time and ROB customers of their well-in-advance pre-ordered goods.
