I think that this game is being overlooked because it is John Daly and not Tiger Woods. I have both and must say this is the one I perfer when using the Move. Tiger Woods didn't feel real. It was actually bad when using the move. Now I gave the game 4 stars becuase it has its problems. Ball aim is hard to move, graffics are alright, and the menu is very hard to navigate. But when it comes to swinging the club and feeling like an actual shot it is great. Definetly the best golf out yet for the move. Give it a try. Plus $30 is a great price for this game.

I purchased this game to use with the Playstation Move controller. The Move controller integration works well with the game and has different difficulty settings so any skill level player could enjoy the game. On the highest difficulty setting I hit much worse in the game than I did in real golf. On the medium difficulty setting the game showed similar results to my real golf game (which isn't all that great). Swinging with the Move controller feels similar to a real golf swing especially when placing a golf ball on the floor to use as a reference. I would like to read a review from a more knowledgeble golfer about the likelihood of improving a golf swing by playing this game. The disappointing part of the game is everything else. The graphics aren't very good compared to the Tiger Woods PGA 2011 golf game and the golf courses don't look that great either. Also the announcers make the same comments over and over. This game provides a unique golf gaming experience using the Playstation Move and I would buy it again, but only for that reason.

-The Best Move Controlled Golf Game Period!!--(UPDATE)--
They just released 4 FREE Downloadable Golf Courses from PSN on PS3! They seem to be even better than the original golf courses! Very cool!
I play golf in real life and I know what a 40-80-120-175 yard shot should feel like and it does it perfectly almost! The distances are amazing! TW is Horrible compared to this. It's like they just threw it in there with no feel and control. In JD on Tour Pro setting I hit the ball almost exactly where I want every time! It really feels natural! It feels like my actual Swing!!! Hitting Punch shots is really cool. You can close the club face on shorter shots to hit it longer and lower just like in real life! Every move in JD has an effect on the ball!! Chipping the ball is captured perfectly too!!
I LOVE how you DON"T have to hold the trigger in to swing. You just press the Move button once!
(TOUR PRO is EXTREMELY HARD so DON"T use it if you can't swing great!) Use the Pro Middle Setting
--The Ball physics are great and realistic.
The advertisements don't bother me as they are not really in the way of anything, on signs on the course just like any other golf game.
My Overall Summary
Playing with the move is amazing here!. This is by far the best Move experience I have played (hitting shots).
I HIGHLY Recommend it!
If you want a Golf Game for the Move, THIS IS IT!!!!!

I read the reviews while waiting for this game to arrive.First, a little about TW as several mentioned that game. I haven't played with a game console since playing on a used, old Atari 5200. It has been PC games for me for a while. I finally decided to purchase this ps3 sports champion bundle w/move 2 1/2 months ago because of the versatility with internet and being game console, I won't have to reinstall all my games every time my PC acts up. I immediately bought madden 11 ($20.) and tiger 11 ($37) along with tomb raider underworld as her and Indiana Jones were fav's on my PC. I would not pay $72. for ANY game. Period. In my opinion, anyone that does, does not have their priorities straight, or plain has more $$ than they know what to do with.
I have to say. TW took a big step back. I played his golf and Microsoft linx and TW and they were much better back then as far as game play. On ms linx, I could name and save cool shots, save any # of games in mid play and had more options of swing.
On TW 11, sure, the graphics are incredible. It looks much better than any golf coarse I have ever driven by or seen on TV when flipping through the stations. Jim Nance has a great voice and that is why they pay him the big bucks.
So, if you want to make a cartoon likeness of yourself and stroll through a peaceful park while the computer plays for you, then TW is your "game".
It is not golf.
One can literally make a fabulous shot off the Tee blindfolded. Last time I checked, Ray Charles was never on any tours.
The greens are also ridiculously bumpy on that game, making the putting harder than it should be and are super fake. So if WATCHING the computer play mostly by itself with a neat picture is your bag, play TW, if you really want to feel like you are on the Linx, John Daly is the stuff you want. The putt looks, reacts, and 'feels' way more like an actual putt on this Daly game than the tw.
I read some negative comments that I just couldn't understand why.
One saying the graphics on this Daly game are poor. No, they are nice. They are realistic enough to really enjoy the game. TW is spectacular and that is where the money and effort went into. In fact, that is the one and only thing TW has going for it.
I read a comment about the player customizing. there are tons of clothing options for the players in this game. Way more than TW. Even a glove that can be worn on either hand. Either way, does it really matter?
Someone else said that the volume didn't work properly. I guess they listened to people since those reviews were written as the clothing and sound work nice. But you know, who cares either way? With some games you need volume to know what is going to happen. With golf, I turn the volume off and crank some Steely Dan, Rolling Stones, or Neil Young or Greg Allman..
Same with the ads. There are a few billboards with I guess the name of the production company. They look natural. I may not have even noticed if not for reading comments.Maybe they listened her too, as there were none on the bottom of screen. Maybe the makers listened here too.
On that subject, with TW you have to sit for an eternity of self promotion for a game you already bought.
It is OK the first time, but every time you load it? Come on!
And if you want to go to a different menu or edit a player, you must restart and suffer through it again.
Pitiful.
I often like to play a hole or two, save and come back to it later. By the time TW loads, I am already bored of the game.
It doesn't even let you do something else while it gets ready as it makes you take a demo shot. Insulting.
About this Daly game's play itself, which is what should really matter to a person instead of clothing options and leaves blowing in the flower scented breeze.
The one and only negative is adjusting where you hope to land the ball with the move controller. It IS still extremely touchy as another person mentioned. I am hoping I can figure out how to make aiming adjustments with the navigation controller. In all fairness, it did get a bit easier after a few holes and TW has the same problem, although not quite as touchy.Maybe some feedback and they make a patch for the Nav control if it does not already work with it?!? I tried utilizing it mid-game. If I get it to work, I will edit this critique.
I first played a practice 3 holes with my duel shock controller and it was a nice practice mode. Excellent options. After every shot, it gave me the option of trying the shot again or going on. I like that very much. I might want to try a particular shot 10 times or so and experiment with different options under the same condition to figure things out.
I intended to play 3 holes with the move control, but before I knew it, I was on the 7th hole.
Let me tell you. Boy do I suck at it. Both ways. It is very challenging. There are a lot of options for the swing, stance, club, and so on.With the move control, I kept hitting too hard. Just like in real golf. Not with the putts or drives, but chipping, mostly. It will take getting to know the system. Just like in the real game.
Look at it like chess and checkers. Checkers can be learned in a few minutes, but once you learn chess, is way more interesting. I use that analogy when people try to say that soccer or baseball is better than football. :) (In real life, not the video games)
To get the hang of this game, you actually have to read the directions. TW is so simplified, it doesn't even come with directions. At least read enough to learn that there are three difficulty levels and within them are three swing sensitivity levels you can choose from..
PLUS, there are visual tutorials that teach you how to make all the cool shots you want to learn to make.
Click on the L2 for yellow tracer and see what the ball will do as you move the stance and club controls around. This game is sweet!!
Putting some spin on the ball and curving around the trees on a dogleg is fun and can make the difference between par and birdie. or, in my case, between double and triple bogey! Yes, the game is hard. Golf is hard. If a challenging game is exciting to you, then this is it.
I intend to learn the fine points so my pals will have to buy the refreshments every time when we play. A fancy "lucky" move here and there at critical times should do it.
This can be considered a golf simulator, and a pretty nice one at that. I would have given it 4 stars because of the sensitivity in pointing the move controller and aiming where you want the ball to go, but after harsh reviews because the game is too real, I had to bump it up to 5 as some of the reviews are not fair to the creator or to you.
Did I read that right? Did someone actuallyput the game down because it is too good? Too real?
Just because one person isn't happy unless they get an eagle every hole, doesn't mean a game is not great.
Sounds like a person that throws their clubs in real life.
In fact, the difficulty is what makes it great as THAT is the game of golf. I look forward to getting more familiar with the features and also how hard to swing when chipping as well as the coveted fade, draw techniques. this is gonna be soooo cool.
My "new" batman asylum has plenty of competition. which is good. Don't want to get sick of any game. They have more re-playability than if we burn out on em.
In conclusion, the guy put alot into this game. I bought a copy from Webs best Deals through Amazon for $14.50 (including shipping), used in very good (looks new to me) condition. Can't beat that with a stick. After the what seems to be standard 2-3 day wait for them to ship it, seems like 2-3 weeks when waiting for them to send it) it got here in 2 days instead of the 2 week estimate. New egg ships lightning quick, but the games are about twice as much. I am sure I will play TW with my dual shock controller upon occasion, but I regret paying so much and would never have if I had found this first. Live and learn, right?!? Hope this helped someone out there.

I played 9 holes and thought that this would be auto saved as described in the manual. Although a saved game was shown I was unable to get to it.the audio controls appear to have 11 levels (0-10) but in reality it appears to have 2full and off.
lastly on the negativesin order to access the career mode you have to beat John Daly at one of a number of special challenges.
Apart from these negatives, which in themselves are enough for me to try for a refund, the gameplay isn't too bad and quite accurately reflects some of the frustrations and joys of playing for real.
