I have to admit ''I love my PS3'' but just adore old school games! In this cart you get the best of both worlds, old in new. I have not had a Sega Genesis in years but the games are still timeless. I still have a Sega Saturn, a Sega Dreamcast and I still play them a lot, but the S.G. was my 16 bit intro into gaming bliss. When men were men and we played for the bragging rights of the high score, not trying to just see scantily dressed C.G. girls (we had the real thing) or all the fake blood & gore we could muster out of a game. In Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection there are 40 Genesis games and 9 Sega Master System. (Sega's 8 bit console) Plus tons of game history, words from the game makers, and everything has a save option. Most of the S.G. games did not have that option. The coin-opp games from the arcades are in full force. As in Golden Ax, Alien Storm, Altered Beast, Super Thunder Blade, Comix Zone, and E-Swat. But lets talk Sonic. There is Sonic 1, 2, 3, & Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic Spinball, (not the best but still fun) And Dr.Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. There is also of my favorites, Alex Kidd, Vectorman 1 & 2, Kid Chameleon, Golden Ax 2 & 3, Fantasy Star 1, 2, 3, & 4, and so much more. Yes we still love our new toys, but we should never forget our old ones. This cart is a must for us old fart gamers, or for kids trying to find their gaming roots. A great buy!
