I have the original-sized PS3, but the PS3 I bought for my brother is the slim version, so I got him this stand, and now I'm wishing I had a PS3 Slim as well.

The stand is excellent. As you can see from the photos, it holds 2 games on each side, and a controller on each side. The stand has a USB line which connects to the PS3, thereby providing the power to charge your controllers once they are docked. And when you dock them, a cool blue LED lights up.

There is a small strip of felt on the inner side of the stand, on the side that touches the upper/front side of the PS3, for "protection."

It's made of plastic, but that's to be expected for the price of 3 "Hamiltons."

The footprint is quite wide, right around a foot across, so if you have your PS3 upright to save space, adding this to it won't help.

Overall though, it's a very nice stand, mainly because of its neat profile and charging feature.

As the man above wrote, this product is great. It holds 8 total games and 2 controllers. It charges your controllers as long as the system is on(has bright blue lights), and it has a separate usb plug-in that is short, but long enough to fit in the PlayStation usb ports. It takes up almost the same amount of space if you were to lay your PS3 down, though for everything that it does, it doesn't take much space honestly.

I really like this product. It was useful until I had to use the PS with other roommates. Cleaning it from time to time is very useful, since it looks disgusting after a while if you wait, but this was a great product!

Over a year later and it still holds up. My controllers are still being charged properly, the blue lights work properly, the cable hasn't worn out, and the game holder stands are still the same. Although, the game holders aren't all the same, some are tighter, some are looser. Do buy if you want a good stand with some nighttime gaming.

As others have stated, this is a really great stand! But if any of you have young children who like video games, this is NOT the product for you. The docks for the controllers are extremely flimsy and easily breakable. My son (who is 3 and actually fairly delicate with video game things) broke both sides within 3 months, trying to put on his movies or a game he wanted us to play.

Again, this is a fantastic product for child-free homes, or homes with older children. Also, keep in mind that the controllers charge ONLY when the PS3 is on.
