It works just fine, some times the usb headset isn't detected by PS3 when I use the hub. Is the only strange thing Imve found.

This seemed like a great solution for me, and I definitely couldn't beat the price. Unfortunately, for me, this item just doesn't work. I've plugged it in, but none of the USB ports respond at all.The documentation mentions it working for your "PS3 Slim", and I have a PS3 original. The description of this product here online, however, says it works for both the Slim and original, so that shouldn't be a problem. Perhaps I just got a bad unit?
Anyway, the bottom line is it doesn't work for me. Other people have reviewed this saying it works though, so maybe it's just a fluke. I'm disappointed, but at $6, I can't get too upset about the loss. I'll just have to find another product for my USB shortage problem.
