This stand is very reliable and durable for its price. What i liked most about it is the color it is the exact color of the PS3 Slim. i saw many other ones out there but they are not the same color as the console and they cannot compare to this price. This is truly a great PRODUCT!

Considering this is a unofficial brand PS3 stand I really happy with the quality. It has a hardened rubber feel to the exterior. Which I really like compared to your usual hardened plastic stand. The PS3 fits pretty snugly into it too. Doesn't wobble at all, despite the lack of a locking mechanism. The simple rubbery finish also helps it match the PS3 very well. I'd highly recommend this stand if you're looking for alternatives to the horrible nyco stand being offered in places like Bestbuy.

This game has graphics of a ps2 or xbox game,if you dont believe me just youtube the video. especially the first cutscene of the game it's horrible and bad voice acting, i know it's a racing game and all, so lets talk about the controls, driving a car is so slippery that you will take a little while to deal with it and physics is non existent in this games, cars go flying for no reason and all races plays out the same, race, drive and shoot, or mash the X button to keep your balance while jumping on to a truck. plus your car has a health bar, so you can't crash too much but it's hard when people are shooting at you and drives insanely fast. i pay 10 bucks for it and not even worth it.

Unless you are those kind of people that have money to burn or perhaps make videos on really bad terrible (and I do mean terrible!) video games then go ahead. This game is not complete, it was if it was put together last minute.. I who am learning 3D-Modeling and texturing can tell you right now that the work they put into the game is similar to what we have done in our class.. and that's not good. Please parents do not waste moneyyy on this.. Your kids will not enjoy this and it is a complete waste of money. maybe $8 but no more.. PARENTS I repeat doooo not buy this.. DO NOT DO NOT!!! BUY THISSS!!! UNCOMPLETE TRASH! Waste it on ourdoor games or sports.. Your kids will enjoy that a lot more.. Don't make them feel bad for having you buy this for them

Did Activision get their janitor to make this P.O.S game? I can't believe they could even put their name on this crap. It is just simply a movie cash in, no effort was put forth at all. The graphics are like an early ps2 game and absolutely no physics what so ever. It is hilariously bad. Especially the first mission where you can launch cars into orbit. DO NOT BUY!!!

don't waste your money the game was a good idea and could of been good if they spent their time on it but it plays like a ps2 game and the cars barely respond to what you want them to do and the graphics suck!

So, to start. If I see one more "Xbox 360 this and that compared to PS3" I'm going to throw up. I hope you feel the same. Folks, they are 2 different systems, both are great for their own reasons, no need to compare.

So for Rainbow Six: Vegas on the PS3. I've never played it on 360, never looked at it on 360, never really cared to. All I can say is, the game plays fantastic, it doesn't feel like some "ported" game. The graphics look great, I am yet to have any loss of framerate, everything is super fluid, controls are fantastic as well.

The controls feel extremely natural, all the buttons are in just the right spot, and overall the game plays extremely well, I was very impressed. You aren't trying to quickly switch between stick and d-pad/buttons to do certain things, for instance, instead of pressing down on the d-pad to kneel, you just press down on your left thumbstick that you almost always already have your thumb on. Everything plays this way.

The campaigns are interesting and fun, and the weapons seem quite accurate. The only thing I really dislike about the campaign is checkpoint saves, in fact, I DESPISE checkpoint saves, and the checkpoints often times are far apart. It forces you to play more carefully, but can be extremely frustrating at the same time. But it's not a make or break thing.

The squad controls are very well done as well, they are extremely easy to work with, in fact, you only use 3 buttons, one to call them closer/stop them, one to tell them to hold fire or fire at will, and the last button you use to tell them where to go, which works by just looking somewhere with your crosshairs and pressing the button.

The A.I. is phenominal, your squad clears rooms properly, takes cover, etc... I was blown away. The enemies seem to work together and take cover as well. This also has the option for cover fire much like Gears of War, really neat.

Online Multiplayer is a great addition, almost everyone uses a headset as well and the player base is quite mature and pleasant to play with. The maps are great and the play types are fun too. I honestly can't get enough online multiplayer, I'm on it all the time. And it's only been a couple days since release! There are a couple glitches like lag and what not with MP, but the game was just released, most of these issues get fixed right away.

In conclusion, this game is a must have. Ignore the 360 vs PS3 garbage. Everything plays fantastic, graphics are great, and the online (FREE on ps3) works really good too with lots of players already.

Buy the game!!!!

This is a solid game with excellent gameplay. The control scheme is intuitive and really immerses you in the realistic action. Graphically could be better, a little hazy for my taste, but it brings to mind the real life cigarette smoke filled Vegas casinos. I have never played the Xbox 360 version so can't compare. Overall this is a must have FPS for PS3 owners and a top 5 game on the platform. NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU MANUALLY SET YOUR PS3 TO 720P AND NOT 1080i (FOR SOME REASON 1080i MAKES EVERYTHING SUPER BLURRY).

Very bad if you mess up, there is only one save point. At the last level it appears there is a glitch where many game users are having a problem with reloading the level (Nevada Dam Warehouse)where you see Irena thru window then game crashes destroying the one and only save point. This has happened to several users. According to UBI support you must delete the one and only allowed saved game and reload/restart the game from the beginning again. I tried this twice, and it crashed twice! So I gave up! UBI programers need to learn how to allow multiple save points.

Overall the game has good picture quality. Content ok. But for PS3 there are no updates. So I advise buying it used and trying it.

In this review section, you are supposed to rate the quality of the game, not Amazon. So by all of you giving bad ratings to "Amazon", you are all making the game look bad...Please stop this!! Thanks!

The game is great and although there are a few minor tweaks to the PS3 version of this game, it is basically just the same as the Xbox 360 version.

If you haven't played this game and you own a PS3, this is a MUST-BUY!

The game is VERY enjoyable--and almost addicting. You are a Special Forces team leader and have, most of the time, two other Special Forces members at your disposal. You are put into various missions where you use your weapons and team members to take out the "bad guys." You have a large assortment of weapons--from several different types of sniper rifles to an assortment of assault rifles to a nice selection of pistols and various grenades and similar options--all complete with various scopes and related attachments. You'll spend the majority of the time hiding behind cover, getting some shots off and telling your teams members what to do--and these Special Forces members are quite good. You'll do a fair about of rappelling through windows, using your team members to open doors and clear rooms and, somehow, you'll be able to withstand an inhuman amount of bullets. Overall, it's a very enjoyable game--even if the AI is only fair.

However, the saddest and most annoying part of this game for me is that the 1080i feature doesn't actually work properly and makes the game uselessly blurry--to the point where Ubisoft should be sued for false advertising. In a world where 720p games are "the norm," advertising 1080i when it doesn't exist or work is just plain lying. The workaround for this problem is to reconfigure/force your PS3 to output video at 720p--and while this addresses the problem by not giving you 1080i, every time I want to watch a Blu-ray movie I have to switch it back to 1080p and then back to 720p to play the game and so on until this gets exceedingly annoying. This bug alone is almost a deal breaker for me and had I known about this before my purchase, I might not have made the purchase.

This is, without a doubt the fight stick you should buy for your PS3. It has all of the same components as the Mad Catz Tournament sticks. Right out of the box, you get all Sanwa buttons and, of course, your Sanwa JLF joystick. In addition, something you get with this baby that you don't get with any of the SFIV sticks (despite what some previews or even the box itself says) is full PS1/PS2 compatibility as long as you have the latest firmware update, and obviously, a backwards compatible PS3. The HRAP 3 SA is also fully wired to work on your PC, which means you can play all those games you have on MAME or any other emulator you use. The fight stick itself is heavy enough where you can rest it on a table and it will stay firmly in place, (yes it has the four rubber stops at the bottom) but light enough where you can play it on your lap without any discomfort. It's also a beauty to look at. It's got a very sleek design and the japanese style button placement is just right for most of your favorite fighting games.

I understand there's been some concerns about the square gate the joystick uses. Let me just say that I have always been used to an octogonal gate when playing my fighting games. While I do admit it felt a bit awkward at first, I got used to it fairly quickly. The type of gate a joystick uses doesn't affect the movement commands at all. Just keep using it and it will feel right in no time. However, if you continue to have trouble with it you can always buy an octogonal restrictor plate. (I highly recommend [see comments] for all you arcade part needs.) The stick is easy enough to mod, and I believe the plate is a snap-in-snap-out kind of deal.

P.S. ALL ARCADE FIGHT STICKS THAT COME WITH A SANWA JOYSTICK INCLUDES THE SAME SQUARE PLATE!

Conclusion: If you're going for the best-of-the-best, I can't recommend a better fight stick than this one. The only thing the Mad Catz Tournament Editon Stick really has over this is that compartment for the cord, which is admittedly cool. But with backwards compatibility and, at the time of this review, a $10 cheaper price tag, your arcade fight stick of choice should definately be the Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 SA. Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to play more Marvel Vs. Capcom 2.

If you have never owned a joystick before, this should be the right review for you. I have never owned one until today, but I have enjoyed the Street Fighter series, Guilty Gear, and now BlazBlue quite a bit. If you played these games then you know how much it hurts to do quarter circle forwards/backwards on the directional pad when you play for more than ten minutes. After downloading Street Fighter 2 HD Remix, I played it quite a bit and woke up the next day with a really sore left thumb. Gone are those days. I wasn't sure about this price tag, but I had a bit of extra money lying around and decided to go for it.

First of all, if you naively expect (as I sort of did) to be good as soon as you start using it, you will be very disappointed. Again, I have never owned a joystick and I could barely pull off a quarter circle forward + punch (hadouken!) on SF2HDR. After playing for about four hours, I can now do them but it is still not natural to me. Point is, don't give up on the joystick, you will have to completely relearn how to play the game which is frustrating when you were already decent on a directional pad (and now you suck again). However, judging how quickly I'm improving and as I expect everyone else will, it's worth it.

Should you buy a fight stick? If you want to play fighting games how they are meant to be played, if you want to play considerably better (with time), if you will play fighting games for a long time, then yes. If you are worried about whether you will be good at using the joystick, you wont, let's make that very clear. You will improve if you put in the time though, and your thumbs won't hurt so that's awesome. Should you buy this particular Hori RAP 3-SA stick? If you have the money, yes. If you don't, consider another cheaper joystick since it's all basically the same if you are a casual player. However, if you plan on using the stick for a long time, then invest in this one because it is made of the best parts and will last you a long time.

The actual stick is very nicely built. It is quite large and feels very good on your lap or table. Take a look at the dimensions so you can understand what I'm talking about. This size is nice because it lets your wrists rest on it. It is not flimsy at all and neither does it look that way, it's made for heavy duty. The parts are all sanwa, which if you are a first time buyer like me, you have no idea what that means. However, pretty much every website says these are the best parts, and this is the main appeal of this stick. The buttons are extremely sensitive, so don't plan on resting your fingers on them. The PS Home button and turbo function work well so you can expect everything to work perfectly. The joystick itself is also very sensitive, but I find it annoying that the ball-top rotates and is not securely in place. Also, the square gate needs getting used to. A square gate means that if you push the joystick as far as it goes and rotate, it makes a square. This makes quarter circle movements difficult, but "z movements" (forward, down, down+forward, like shoryukens) are a bit easier. This is the main obstacle in using a fight stick, but fear not, if you absolutely hate the square gate, you can buy a circle or octagon gate and swap it, as this fight stick is very good for modding (another of it's main selling points).

The stick deserves five stars because it is basically perfect and made for top players. New players will suck using it, I guarantee it, but with time they will improve as I have, and improving on the best stick available is very nice so I definitely recommend it if you can afford it. If you are on the fence, take the dive as it is definitely worth it and the stick will last you far longer than something cheaper.

Well, I'll start off saying that I have frequently gone to arcades such as FFA or Denjin to play 3rd strike. (both in San Fernando Valley area) The Hori Pro Arcade SA-3 is the closest thing I have gotten that plays very similar( if not identical) to the arcade machines. The Sanwa buttons are very easy to press but not too soft. It has a little mix of both the hori buttons and the american made buttons. The stick, also sanwa of course, is superb. It has a slick rotation feel to it and executions can be made with ease. The front plate is smooth and polished that doesn't leave handmarks or fingerprints. The wire/cord is very long (long enough for you to sit back and relax on the couch). It is fully compatible with the PC as it is a USB cord. You just plug in and play.

PROS:

-Easy to use

-Very smooth (although sometimes too smooth)

-Fairly Heavy, (like 6 pounds?) and has rubber on the bottom to have a stable game

-Not your average stick, this baby can take punishment (rage gamers like me)

-Long Cord/Wire USB

-Can take a beating

CONS:

-The Turbo, Home, R3, L3 Buttons are next to each other and its hard to see the labels for them

-Although all the parts are sanwa (which are the best IMO), if you want to swap the parts, It is much harder than say..The Tournament Edition MadCatz stick

-No Compartment for the long wire

-Pretty damn huge to put it on your lap leisurely

Conclusion:

I can honestly say I am very happy that I bought this. The 3-SA is probably one of the best arcade sticks you can buy without having to spend ludicrous amounts of money on. Street Fighter III 3rd Strike runs very well with this stick as well as Street Fighter IV. The white buttons are very nice on the eyes and it looks pretty sexy. I give this product, 5 stars. (^___^)

First off, let me say it's been about 5 years since I used a stick, so there's some relearning I've been doing. That means if you've never used a stick you're going to have to relearn how to play. However, it will pay off hugely in the end.

The price on this thing is great. I got it for $90. Considering that a new PS3 controller is about $60 this is a really good deal if you play a lot of fighters. I ordered it on thursday, shipped on Monday, and was here on Tuesday. Very quick, which made even more awesome.

The stick itself is a behemoth. It's a bit daunting to look at something that big at first, but you sit down with it and use it, everything feels in place. The weight isn't bad at all when it's on your lap, and actually feels quite stable and secure on a table. The buttons are really responsive and react smoothly when pressed. The stick responds great. I can feel the square gate, but, since I'm still relearning, I don't feel like I can give an opinion on it one way of the other. It's an easy fix if you have some hex keys lying around though.

Overall, this was a great buy at $90. If you want a stick for a PS3 then this is the best deal you can get.

Want PS3 Real Arcade Pro. 3-SA Discount?

This is a quality built joystick with the parts you'd expect: Sanwa buttons and Sanwa joystick. Perfect for most arcade games, particularly fighting.

One of the key things for me getting this stick was knowing it would work with backwards compatible PS3s to play PS2 games, as of yet, you still cannot do this with the Mad Catz products (Fight Stick and Tournament Edition). Still got my PS2 copies of SF III, Alpha Anthology to play. When looking at the two sticks, it's a little heavier than the TE stick, about the same size, uses pretty much all the same parts, but the control panel is a little different as it doesn't offer a lock like the TE stick does (to prevent the guide/home button from being pressed). The only thing the TE stick has over this one is the cord compartment.

The buttons are responsive and the joystick works as usual for Sanwa. All Sanwa joysticks come with the square gate by default, and typically this is correct for fighting games and most arcade cabinets. Some may prefer the octo-gate but that's just a matter of preference. I like the square gate myself but if anyone would rather get the octogate, it's an extremely easy swap. The heaviness of the stick feels solid when playing and you can tell it will last for years to come.

Overall I would recommend this stick for anyone who owns a PS3 and in particular, those with PS2 capable PS3s.

Basics: This is a controller, made by Splitfish, specifically for the PS3. It only works on the PS3. You can checkout their site, it is limited but adequate. The basic premise of this controller is to have the right analog stick replaced by a mouse. Obviously, this is to bring PC controls to the PS3. While the mouse could be used for anything, it is clearly an FPS device.

The Fragfx v.2 hooks to the PS3 by a 10 foot USB cord. No Bluetooth here, my friends. The PS3 powers the controller, so the Fragfx v.2 cannot turn on the PS3. The 10ft cord goes into the back of the left-handed "Fragchuck" (I did not invent this term). Also emerging from the back of the Fragchuck, is the cord going to the mouse. You also receive a pretty good mouse pad with your Fragfx V.2, although I ended preferring my lap desk. Anybody hardcore is going to end up on a desk or table.

The mouse is right-handed and optical. R1, R2, and R3 are represented by the left, right and center mouse buttons; with the "start" button behind the center R3 button. The triangle, square, circle, and X buttons are on the left side of the mouse, under your thumb.

The Fragchuck is left-handed. It has an analog stick on top, used most often to represent the left analog stick on the PS3 controller. Think Wii nunchuck with a bunch of extra controls. The D-pad is behind the stick. Also on top of the Fragchuck are the Select and PS buttons. The Fragchuck has 3 front "triggers". The uppermost trigger is the "Frag" button. Under that are L1 and L2. L3 is the top of the analog stick, same as a PS3 controller. On the right side is a sensitivity dial. Finally, the Fragchuck is your sixaxis controller in this setup.

Bells and Whistles: This controller comes with many extra options. The first is the "Frag" button. When you hold this, the sensitivity on the mouse drops and your sight moves only a little with large moves of the mouse. This is to allow you to make sniper shots more easily. The second extra control is the sensitivity dial on the side of the Fragchuck. This was my favorite feature. By adjusting game sensitivity and then the sensitivity dial, you can fine tune exactly how much action you get on the mouse. You can even change it on the fly.

Additionally, the controller will let you set buttons to rapid fire. You can adjust the sensitivity of the motion controls, and their calibration. You can "switch" the mouse to represent the left PS3 stick on the fly (the Fragchuck analog stick will represent the right PS3 stick in "switch" mode.) You can flip it to "mouse" mode and use it with the web browser. Finally, you can program the motion control to double as any button except, Frag, PS, Select, and Start.

Functionality: Plugging the Fragfx V.2 in for the first time, I immediately saw how easy it would be to drop the darn thing. Not quite as nice as flopping down on the couch and punching the PS button on a dualshock. The 10ft cord was just about right length, I have to sit pretty far from my sports-bar-obscenity-only-an-American-would-own TV. USB extension cords are cheap, so I do not see this as a problem regardless.

I am a freak because the PS3 is my first console. Mouse and keyboard is what most of you learned FPS on; I was coming at this backwards. It was a bit like learning to drive stick after automatic. Initially a mess, but ultimately a more responsive set up. I noodled around with the browser and a couple of other games, but Killzone 2 was the central game in testing. At first I had the sensitivity way too high and got nauseous when one large mouse move executed a 360. Within 30 minutes, my aim was better with the mouse than it had been with 30 hours on the dualshock. I could now weave about while keeping my sight on a moving target. My firing in general had less of a sweeping quality and stayed on enemy heads more of the time. My effectiveness with the starting assault rifles improved. Keep in mind that improvement for me is NOT Barry Bonds using steroids. This is much more like HIV patients using steroids to maintain muscle mass. I am moving from hopeless to decent, not good to Lazlo-quality sniper. During my initial "plug and go" sessions, it was hard to get the sensitivity to the point where I could turn quickly, yet maintain control of my aim. One or the other would suffer, yet it was still better than a dualshock.

What really made the difference for Killzone 2 was the firmware update from the Splitfish website. It really made the sight less jittery and gave me a smooth feel with the game sensitivity at max and the Fragchuck dial at about 4. I could turn like an F18 in the alleys, yet pull up the sight and plonk off a pretty good burst at somebody's favorite head.

Overall, Fragfx v.2 good. The Frag button works but did not magically make me a sniper god. I am not a General in the game, so sniping was limited to single player and skirmish modes. The dial was my favorite feature, allowing me to adjust to circumstances. I could turn it up when on a fixed gun and cover the area nicely. I could turn it down when engaging via the M82 rifle sight. When I tried going back to the dualshock, I went right back to captain-sweepy-shot. The Fragfx v.2 really let me stay on the target better.

Other Options: I tried the Fragfx V.2 on mouse mode, and it works OK. Honestly, I prefer the regular PS3 controller with a keyboard attached (I like the keyboard, but I do not use the touchpad "feature" on the keyboard, that "feature" is a Goddamned nightmare, I freaking well dare you to get the cursor down from the top of the screen, I freaking well dare you).

I do not really have a game to test "switch" mode. This swaps the mouse and joystick. It looks like it is geared for GTA4 and the like, allowing you to use the mouse for the steering wheel or the gun. I don't think switch mode can fully compensate for left-handed people. Even if you switch, the buttons remain the same. You can't use the mouse left handed, the "shape" buttons are no longer under your thumb.

Reassigning motion control is fun. You can make shaking the Fragchuck do almost anything. After programming, shaking the Fragchuck can throw a grenade, reload, swing a rifle butt, etc. It does not work well for any continuous function, like running. If you get the correct download off of their site, you can remap all buttons... except R3 and L3. I would love to remap L3 into oblivion, but c'est la vie.

More than a year later: This review has been edited now that I have had the thing more than a year. It has good durability, still works great. I managed to yank it accidentally once and L2 popped off, but it popped back in and works like it never happened. Two times I have fired up the system and the mouse has not registered. Restart and everything was kosher, so that it a mighty fine track record.

I still can't tell you if this device will move you from good to God. It moves me from bad to decent. I am old and 14 year-olds literally have 500 milliseconds on me at all times. What are you gonna do? I think some folks want a mouse to make them telepathic and able to aim bot anything they see. No product is going to do that.

The price has come down. My initial review said this was not worth it at 80 bucks but was worth it at 50 bucks. The time has come. The cost is similar to a dualshock and this makes a far more interesting backup controller. Give it a shot. Even if you splurge for a XIM and PC and fragenstein setup, if you suck you will still likely suck.

The Splitfish Fragfx v.2 allows you to play like a pc gamer on the PS3. However, the lack of quality of the product will only slightly improve your overall accuracy if you're already good with the dual shock 3 controller made by Sony.

The product works as advertised (no software necessary) and feels very close to using a mouse for FPS games on the PS3. The mouse and the left grip controller are very light weight and made of very cheap plastic. The mouse is optical, not laser. I cannot even compare this product to a real gaming mouse like the Logitech G5 or the Copperhead, they're in completely different leagues. However, the Fragfx will definitely feel more comfortable to use for gamers coming from the pc gaming platform over to the world of playstation.

Splitfish claims that you can have the DS3 controller and the Fragfx plugged in simultaneously. However, I found that if the original controller is connected, plugging in the Fragfx will not automatically work; it will only recognize the left grip controller and not the mouse. You must first turn off the Sony controller completely (not just unplug it) and then connect the Fragfx, and push the ps button on the Fragfx: THEN the mouse will be recognized and you're good to go.

The Fragfx v.2 can be programmed as advertised, and now has a rapid fire feature (usually called a turbo) that allows you to fire a single shot weapon as if it were a machine gun. However, please note that COD4 and COD5 have disabled this feature in the game, so don't be shocked if your G3 only fires one shot per second with the turbo/rapid fire turned on. Besides, we don't want to be cheating now do we?

Overall, I'm very pleased with the concept of combining a mouse with a controller. It's a brilliant idea! I just wish it was made better and used laser instead of optical technology in the mouse. If you're frustrated with the DS3 sony controller and hate using joysticks, this is a great alternative until something better comes out.

Update Aug 9th 2009: Disappointing

----------------------------------

They claim that the tweak utility works in Windows Vista...

I've been playing around with the "tweak utility" program available on the Splitfish website. Splitfish claims that this utility allows the user to remap the buttons and adjust the button pressure...

Well no matter what I did, I could not get it to save the new button arrangements to the fragfx. Not only that, but every time I click on the tab for the button pressure adjustment feature, my entire computer becomes unresponsive, and I have to force a reboot. I tested this on Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit, and Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit: it just doesn't appear to work at all.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Splitfish has released any updates for this product since my first review: The tweak utility is still in beta, and the firmware hasn't changed either. I'm very disappointed as I desperately need to change the buttons for certain games.

I currently own the v1. and have used the v2. I noticed the same problem on both for a pc gamer like myself the mouse buttons are sometimes un responsive. Yes you can adjust the sensitivity and that will help. For the average user just looking to play easy this will most likely not be a problem. However if you are a hardcore gamer (i myself am in between.) you will need to fix this issue. However i have the solution. The basics of the mouse are simple all the buttons are pressure sensitive. This is where the issue lies. If you pull apart the mouse (5 screws) the board you see for the main mouse buttons (l-click r -click) have 3 terminals with a black band. this band is the pressure sensitive interface. To fix your problem you have 2 options the easy and the expert methods.

The easy method

use a fine screw driver and gently and slowely scrape the black substance from the terminals making sure not to remove the underlying contact. Re assemble and adjust your sensitivity to 5 10 for active. Now every time you hit the button your sensitivity is full and you wont have any issues however you loose pressure sensitivity on that button (i only preformed this on my left button because of some games utilizing pressure sensitivity and left is shoot)

The expert method (which i prefer because i like tacticle click of a mouse)

after removing the black band proceed to your electornic supply store (most likely not a radioshack) and purchase a surface mount momentary tac switch. (lowest ms recovery possible) all you need is a two terminal no need for a third ground. also make sure the base is non conductive. all you want is two conductive leads. This switch should match the general size of the rubber push button piece minus the little nub that goes in the button post. if you go too small you will need to rig up something to extend the post too big and you wont be able to re assemble the mouse. Solder this to the terminals (going from left of the buttons 3 terminals) 2 & 3 . Re assemble the mouse and now you have a clicking button where you put the switch. This will work on all buttons in the mouse however you will loose pressure sensitivity.

You will need to adjust the minimum pressure because now it will have residual conductivity and will show pressure. Just adjust for the 5 10 range and you will be set.

14 years of pc gaming experience and very meticulous when it comes to aiming.Near 1 year on the fragfx version 1 on ps3. I just recently got the version 2 this was the outcome on KILLZONE 2. I hope this is just bad luck or a firmware issue it is up to date by the way. It showed me jitters and lack of micro moving. Version 1 gets 5 stars but till I try another version 2 I cannot give it more than a 2 which is pushing it since it was very jittery while trying to move slow it would jump 10 pixels sporadically.

Version 2 special edition is much better.

I have been playing FPS games on the PC since the early days of Doom. The only Console FPS game that I was heavily addicted to was Goldeneye and since then I have never found any enjoyment from using a controller to try and aim on screen. That is not to say I cannot do it, I just do not enjoy it as much as feel like I am having to put up with horrible controls to enjoy console shooters.

I have been keeping an eye on the Frag FX since first hearing about it and all the issues with the V1. I held off on making the purchase simply because of all the negativity that I would hear about the controller.

Killzone 2:

When I got the Frag FX V2 I plugged it in and immediatly setup a skirmish in Killzone2. I played with the adjustements until I found a smooth setting that gave me fairly quick turning. I have found that killzone is a pretty bad game to test this controller because it appears that GG designed the game to make it difficult to use this type of controller.

This controler increased my ability to aim while on the run and to hit targets that were on the run. I noticed that if I had someone behind me I had trouble spinning fast enough due to the "weighted" design of the game.

Bioshock:

I then put in Bioshock and I can see how this controller is designed to work now. I had a lot of fun playing with this controller in Bioshock and I am finally decided that it would be enjoyable to work on the survivor difficulty.

Once I got everything adjusted and smoothed out, I felt like I was playing this game PC style. I tend to like my mouse controls loose and quick on the PC so this controller feels a tad bit sluggish and slow. It is 1000 times better than using a standard controller to aim with.

If you are a PC gamer and love FPS games... you will enjoy using this controller. For me it injected some fun into games that were getting a bit stale to me due to the hassle of the controls.

I was able to get my top 1% ribbon in Killzone 2 and 100% the trophies prior to getting the Frag FX and now with this new controller I have a reason to play the game again... FOR THE FUN OF IT!!!

Hope this reviews helps some of those PC gamers on the fence. I think 90% of the "HATE" reviews are based off on people whole play online and do not want an even playing field.

After a lot of time with the Frag FX I found that the controller was not able to achieve the speed and quickness that I wanted. I purchased the FragNstein to test out a different controller and found that the ability to adjust that controller was a thousand times greater than the options I had with the FragFX. I also had my FragFX mouse buttons stop working and had to mail the controller to Canada in order ot get it replaced. SplitFIsh did replace it no questions asked!

I am sure that now Splitfish has released products that are closer in quality to the Bannco FragNstein, but the build quality, customer service, and software flexibility (deadzone in particular) of the FragNstein makes it the better choice.

My next possible purchase will be the Eagle Eye to test out a converter rather than trying another controller.

The idea is great, the product looks good and is convenient (when it works). After owning this for about a month and a half, the ps3 ports stopped working. The controllers were no longer being charged and the lights stopped working. The xbox ports are still functional however, (as of now, 3 months in). At this point it's a charger for my xbox controllers and a display stand for the ps3 controllers. I contacted the manufacturer but they have yet to get back to me.

Update:

The day after I wrote this review the company contacted me regarding the product. They were very professional, courteous and promptly replied to my emails. They shipped out a new product to me within a few days. This one is working as it should at me moment. I give this product 5 stars because of its functionality and the company provided a level of customer service that seemed to be lost in today's market. I would definitely purchase other products from them.

I purchased the Konnet Power Pyramid Charger from Amazon and received the delivery in the time frame promised. I needed a charger and an organizer and the item was perfect. It worked without issue until about a week ago. One of the PS3 charge slots simply stopped working and the LED light is inoperable. There was no indication that a problem even existed. It just simply won't charge. I checked to see if I could return it for a fully operational replacement however the return window closed just the day before. So I have three working charge ports, which will have to suffice, but I am really disappointed as I LIKED this product a lot and had recommended it to several friends who also purchased the pyramid charger. I expected better durability especially considering the cost. But as careful as I was inserting the controllers, I am stuck with a now less than desirable product. After all, the charge lights are cool and create a great ambiance, but without one working, it has lost a bit of that something special. I am reluctant to recommend or not recommend this product. On one hand, a cool product with serious functionality potential. On the other hand, a pricey toy that only lasted 10 weeks with two grown ups being very careful with its use. I couldn't imagine what a house full of kids might do to this. If you do buy this item, I hope you have better luck. It is almost a great product but I feel just a bit cheated because it WAS so cool for a while.

Update: I contacted Konnet via e-mail about a warranty replacement for this item. They were very courteous and accommodating. There were some minor hoops to jump through in order to satisfy their requirements to receive a replacement but nothing too frustrating. My initial contact with them was on 11 Feb 10 and I received to replacement item on 06 Mar 10. The entire ordeal consisted of 11 e-mails back and forth, re-packaging the item and mailing it at my expense (about $5 USPS), and waiting a couple of weeks for the replacement as it was shipped via "Air Mail" from Hong Kong. It would have been nice if the entire process was more streamlined but I give Konnet credit, they did exactly what they said they would do. I commend them for that. As a side note....I used the original PS3 charging method to maintain a charge for those two controllers. As for my XBox 360 controllers, I was prepared to simply use the "AA" battery compartment until I got the charging unit back but as it turns out, I was able to use them, frequently mind you, without ever having to charge them the entire time my Konnet Power Pyramid was in transit. One controller eventually lost charge but the second controller continued to hold a charge until the replacement charging device was received. I thought that was pretty cool. I use my XBox 360 about 4 times as much as my PS3. I have increased my star rating 1 star due to Konnet's customer service response.

this controller dock looks good, but is definitely overpriced. i purchased mine in "used like new" condition from amazon warehouse deals at a nice discount price and still think that was overpriced. it sure has style though...

with the charging cables gone from sight and the 4 controllers all in 1 storage space, the tv area looks much cleaner.

The Pyramid Looks Great and Kept all my controllers in one place but I have had to return it twice. The PS3 Slots break with in 3-6 months. It works Great for the X-Box 360 controllers and I Returned it with zero hassle to the Company and they did even want the old Pyramid back which tells me they know this model is defective. I give it two stars because the X-Box Part works very well and it cost about what I would have Paid for just a X-Box Charger. Don't waste your $$$$$

I've never played any of the Cabela games before this one, so I can't tell you if this is any better or worse than the previous games. But when I visited my dad this past weekend, my brother was playing this, and I decided to give it a shot after seeing him play a level where a bunch of baboons were hell bent on taking you out. 'somehow reminded me of a story someone told me a while ago from when a baboon took their Homer Simpson action figure while they were in a safari. Anyway, I did experience some problems setting the game up, like many others here have mentioned, and played this on a 55" plasma tv, but it didn't have some of the problems that seem to be frequent with others.

Gameplay is pretty simpleyou trek around various areas in the country, be it a forest, jungle, grassland, etc. and blast animals left and right. This is the kind of game that PETA members would have a fit over, especially given that I think some of these animals are protected or endangered. There's a standard Classic gameplay mode where you rack up points shooting deer or whatever the main animal of that area is, avoid being killed by the more dangerous ones, and try to not shoot the females. This is the more traditional game mode from what I hear, but the Survival mode is where I spent the most time. This mode is basically House of the Dead but with animals. Crazed rhinos, bears (that look like big hyenas), baboons and more try to kill you, and it's your job to take out as many as you can and stay alive...for as long as you can anyway. There's a little more to the game, but chances are that you won't be doing anything other than Survival or Classic. Trust meif you try the story mode, you'll either laugh at the first cutscene and then go back to Survival, or wonder if you're watching a made for tv hunting movie. Plus the controls for Story Mode are different from the others, which doesn't make sense, so unless you're that hungry for some ps3 trophies, avoid this at all costs.

Notice that I gave the game 4 stars for funit's not because the game itself is really that fun, since it's a House of the Dead clone with animals, but I had a blast watching how some of these animals died and reacted to being shot at. There were several times when I'd encounter a few deer eating grass peacefully. I'd shoot one of them, it'd keel over, and the one next to it would still be eating, only to stop and look around frantically 2 seconds later like it was going "oh wait, we're being shot at?!", THEN it'd take off. When you kill an animal, the death animation varies from realistic to hilariously goofy. For example, I shot a goat in the head, and it bounced up in the air, all 4 legs stiff as if it were still standing, then it'd tilt back and fall to the side. This happened with baboons too, and never stopped being funny. But aside from this error in physics programming, it -ispretty fun to compete with other people to get the top score, and having a 4 player mode on this makes for a good party game. It made me feel like I was in an arcade in the mid-90s again when the ones around here actually had shooting games for more than one person.

However, here's the big problem: this game will or won't work for you if you have a tv bigger than 50 inches. Problems range from the calibration being messed up, to the gun not being responsive, or not getting anything even when you're the right distance away from the sensor. For me, aiming was off here and there, but got better as I played the game. No, it wasn't me getting used to the problem. The aiming really did seem to fix itself after I played for about 40 minutes, and instead of shooting below where I'd aim, the gun would be right on target.

This might be one of those tittles where you're better off using the regular Move controller instead of going for the big [over-priced] bundle with the Top Shot Elite. Holding the big plastic gun controller didn't do much for me, and I could shoot just as accurately without it. In the end though, it's all about peeling caps like bananas, and wasting baboons as they infiltrate my camp. If you can get it to work, and realize that this is more of an arcade-style shooter than anything else, Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 is a fun title worth giving a try. If all else fails, wait for a price drop.

This game is pretty fun, especially the shooting galleries. There is a seemingly unlimited string of animal to shoot, and using the Top Shot Elite gun is much easier than the 2009 version gun. The pump action doesn't feel as sturdy or exciting as say, Big Buck Hunter, but it is more than adequate. The scope seems pretty useless, but I haven't played around with it much. If you're looking for a fun hunting game that offers good graphics, this is a great option.

Note that the gun and sensor bar require AA batteries, but they come with your first set.

We could not get the top shot elite gun to calibrate to the screen. The ridiculous calibration routine will not allow adjustment. The way the calibration works is it presents targets at the corners of the screen to aim the gun at and click to set it. However, if the scope reticle shown on screen drifts off screen before you line up on the target it will just give error messages that it "cannot detect the gun". It would seem simple enough to program into it an adjustment to correct for this mismatch... but no, you're stuck with a non-functioning gun. When you go to the Activision support web site it states that you should be 9.5 to 11 feet away from the screen! With larger TV's the distance is even greater. This should be stated clearly on the box for system requirements. On my 55" set we couldn't stand far enough away so that the actual gun sight and the on-screen target would line up. Not even close. I guess I should move my TV to the hallway? Furthermore, the sensor only has two options to select in the menu, "top" and "bottom". Both of these are a compromise. We actually got the calibration to be closest (but not good enough) by taping the sensor to the center of the TV screen! The Top Shot Elite gun is garbage. Fortunately we have the actual PS3 Move controllers with a gun attachment. Using this the game can be played adequately.

I doubt many people would think of a Cabela's game as a party game, but for groups of ~25 year old guys, it's a lot of fun.

I only played the "campaign" mode for about 5 minutes and was quickly bored, but I bought it for playing with friends anyway, so I wasn't disappointed.

Definitely buy it with the Top Shot Elite. It's fun to put together and hand off as it's the next person's turn. Adds a cool dynamic to the game that a controller just doesn't. I found the scope difficult to use in quick, fast paced moments like the mini-game scenarios (the game mode name escapes me), but I know it works well in campaign.

Tales of Xillia is the first title in the Tales game in the series to feature a player select option to see the game through Jude Mathis's point of view or Milla Maxwell's. This game's camera angle is very similar to the camera used in Final Fantasy XIII because it wanted to deliver a more cinematic view during gameplay. The animation by far is the most impressive in the series' history and the game has no game breaking glitches as should be expected by now. The combat when doing single character battling is very much the same to Vesperia, but much smother and the Skill points make a return. Similar to Final Fantasy X's leveling grid is an arts grid for increasing character status to a peek and shops have VIP roles to unlock to buy better weapons and armour. Milla Maxwell is by far the most powerful Tales character ever introduced and is very pretty to add, but she doesn't know much about being a regular human girl. Jude Mathis is a doctor and an expert in healing arts, but his world get a bit rocky shortly after the opening cutscene clears and Milla is introduced. The openning cutscene is Progress by Ayumi Hamasaki and this is where the review gets a little less lengthy so bare with me.

The Good:

Great Story

Excellent Voice Acting

Best Battle System

Best Graphics so far

Lovable Characters

Beautiful Cinematics

The Bad: Slight learning curve, but nothing 30mins can't fix.

The trophies are really fun and challenging, but not to hard to obtain if you are persistent and some sub-events are going to say to be continued. Also note that some of the sub-events are timed like locating the pendant and such...because if not you'll get to far and not be able to continue it. I haven't gotten very far, but I figured the game should get a decent review anyways...also no spoilers needed so if you got questions ask away. ^_^

The "Yakuza" series is one of the most underrated franchises globally. It's story, character dynamics and renovations of typical brawler conventions are all amazing reminders of just how intricate and fun video games can be. With the franchise taking a shooter-style vacation this year with "Yakuza: Dead Souls", it's development team focused their efforts on a new IP with their signature flair for character and narrative, all on top of the increasingly-tired third-person shooter market. That new IP is "Binary Domain", and it's here to prove that Japanese developers not only can hold their own against Americans when it comes to action games, but surpass the gamut of them.

"Binary Domain"'s plot unfolds similar something by authors like Philip K. Dick or Harlan Ellison. In the early 21'st century, i.e. present day, humanity's downfall began. Global warming peaked and the economy collapsed, resulting in a one-two punch of cataclysmic events. The earth flooded, destroying three-quarters of the world's major cities. Only the corporations and governments with abundant resources could survive such an event, and conveniently, the most well-off ones were in the United States. This led to America becoming an international superpower by default. In order to rebuild the world which was now pretty much it's oyster, the government and technology corporations began to construct robots that could get the job done faster and more efficiently than the weary masses could.

However, this came with a price. Soon, the concept of intelligent robots who truly believed that they were human was brought to the table. This was an immediate threat, and thus the President of the United States put into motion the New Geneva Convention, which forbade any type of fully-aware robotic entity. But in 2080 a humanoid robot breaks into the building of the top robotics manufacturer in the world and attempts to kill the president of the company. That robot, known as a "Hollow Child", was built by a rival Japanese corporation, and was in violation of the new Convention. To put an end to this threat, the US Government sends two Special Forces operatives into Japan, which is being ravaged by these thinking machines. Their mission is to topple the corporation and take out any enemy robots along the way.

These two soldiers are the two most enjoyable protagonists I've played with in a game since I met agent Francis York Morgan in the 2010 cult masterpiece "Deadly Premonition." Their nonstop banter is very reminiscent of that shared between the protagonists of the "Army of Two" series, except in this game, the dialogue feels more natural and not overly wrought. It's like the best buddy cop movie imaginable, only set in the future and with armies of humanoid death machines out to kill said buddies. Killing wave after wave of enemies never feels tedious with these two guys around for chemistry and laughs.

Then again, the excellent dialogue isn't all that makes shooting these baddies special. Yakuza Studios implemented a damage system similar to the one found in the "Dead Space" series. Killing robots isn't only a matter of pointing and shooting, but rather a strategic and methodical takedown of each squad. Shooting the legs off of a robot stuns then, but they'll quickly crawl around and start shooting at you again, making a nuisance of themselves in a firefight. Blasting the head off of one fries their optics and brain, causing them to shoot at anybody, including fellow bots. Tearing through the chest is straightforward, but takes more time. How you handle each opponent is an integral part to "Binary Domain", making it more enjoyable than your average "Gears of War" clone.

What also makes each battle more enjoyable is the character relationship system, which not only affects dialogue, but character behavior on the battlefield as well. Depending on how you choose to react in battle, how you respond to questions, and your gameplay style in general, the AI partners will change accordingly. With other characters added to your party later on, you have to be conscious of how you treat your fellow fighters. One response may please a certain partner, but irk another. This will change their willingness to follow orders and help you out in the middle of a fight, so it's not just a throwaway gimmick to keep people interested. It's an important facet of the game, and one that more developers should definitely use in the future.

Visuals in this game are top-notch. While they never reach the level of something like, say, "Modern Warfare 3", they're certainly nothing to scoff at, something to be expected from a developer who accurately rendered contemporary Japan in the "Yakuza" series. The character models are impeccably rendered, and the scenery is fantastic after the first hour of gameplay kicks in. The futuristic Japan put on display is a true feast for the eyes, and a blast to barrel through and blast enemies in. Comparisons the aforementioned billion-selling shooter and other major action franchises are unfair, really, because "Binary Domain" has more originality bleeding out of it's designs than anything to come out of Infinity Ward, DICE or Epic Games.

What some might notice, though, is that the shooting mechanics are rather basic. They're a more raw-bones version of the "Gears of War" school of TPS games, and while that's certainly nothing bad, it may come across as not "innovative" enough. However, keep in mind that everything works the way it ought to, and the shooting mechanics are perfectly adequate. Same goes for the upgrade system which is basic, yet adds more noticeable firepower with each weapon level than most other systems I've worked with. It's a nice little component to an already nice game. Basic mechanics being fairly typical is nothing to complain about in this day and age, however. What most gamers look for in a game is originality in concept, design and execution as opposed to distinct moving and/or shooting mechanics. By this standard, "Binary Domain" is a roaring success.

However, it should be noted that by typical standards, this game is not perfect. In comparison to blockbuster games, it's graphics could use more detail. When held up against major shooter franchises, the mechanics could perhaps be a bit more fluid. And when put up against writing by studios like Rockstar, the banter might come across as cheesy or contrived. But in spite of these potential minor gripes, this game is hardly possible to dislike.

It makes me disillusioned with the current game criticism system that a game like "Binary Domain" is awarded a 6 or 7, while a game like "Battlefield 3" is awarded a near-perfect score. BF3 has a campaign that is utterly dull, a contrived war story punctuated by explosions and firefights with mechanics that are aped from many other FPS games. The redeeming feature of the game is it's multiplayer, which in truth should be a knock off on a score, not *the* reason to buy a game. In contrast, "Binary Domain" has tight controls that aren't anything revolutionary, but makes up for it with sheer creativity in AI interaction, narrative progression and feasible visions of what a robot post-apocalypse might look like.

Instead of sticking itself inside of a box and doing one thing that everybody on the market is doing, Yakuza Studio threw dozens of unique ideas behind "Binary Domain." There is absolutely nothing else like it on the market; it's a wonderful experience, with breathtaking action sequences and moments of true humanity among the cast. With way above-average graphics and sound backing it, this excellent concept work hits every sweet spot that a game should. One of my favorite critics, Jim Sterling once said that a game should be judged on "how often it made you happy, how much you laughed or became excited, and how you long you spend thinking about it after it was finished." I could think of no better standard to judge "Binary Domain" by.

Forget all the reviews from gaming websites. This game is awesome! It feels so good to shoot those robots!

I am surprised by Sega's Yakuza series development team to create this hardcore TPS. I also imported Yakuza of the end from Japan, and to be honest; both games are just so amazing. Graphic is really nice from the moment u start; the control needs a little to getting used to, but u can change to COD style control the option menu if that is what u r used to it.

If you are on the edge of deciding wether to buy this game or Mass Effect 3... buy this one! ahah well, I ordered both. The shooting mechanics for this game is much better than ME3 in my opinion. I'm talking about Uncharted and Gears of Wars level fluid gameplay experience and shooting mechanics.

Don't wait! Buy it! NOW!

Every once and awhile a game comes out and leaves a person baffled, surprised, frustrated, but ultimately wanting more. These mix of emotions define what a game should offer to it's consumer base. Now while it may not be THE definition of what that current genre is about, such as and FPS or RPG, it does something different enough that leaves you satisfied and most importantly respecting the craft that the developers have made. Don't know what I mean yet? Well, let me explain.

Binary Domain is a game developed by Sega, a game set in the future of 2080. This game takes place in Tokyo, a city that is, much like every popular city during this time period, suffering from flooding due to global warming. You play as Dan Marshall, an ex-marine from the US. You are accompanied by your partner Bo and try to make your way inside the tokyo walls to discover if a man, known as Yoji Amada, is producing robots called Hollow Children and bring Amada in for questioning. These Hollow Children are robotic organisms that are indistinguishable by humans and have no idea that they are robots themselves.

You meet with other team members, and international group of people, one from China, Japan, France, and two others from England, each one having a distinct speciality, such as being able to snipe or using a rocket launcher to take down heavy enemies. The interesting part is that throughout the game, you can choose different allies to accompany you and help you carry out your mission. What's even more interesting is that the team you choose will respond negatively or positively to whether or not you do a good job as a player. If you help them out, they will respond well to orders you give them such as giving cover, but if you do a poor job, they'll do things themselves, and during boss battles, this can be very frustrating.

You'll be facing robotic enemies throughout the entire game, which is of no surprise. the most fascinating, and addicting part of binary domain is how you take these enemies down. If you shoot an enemy in the leg and it blows off, the enemy will limp towards you. If you damage the legs enough, the enemy will crawl after you. Shooting off the head will cause the enemy to target other enemies around it. Not only is the physics amazing to watch, the amount of detail that you get from shooting an enemy down, to the environments to the boss battles you'll be facing is just breathtaking. Not to spoil the story, but there is one enemy you'll encounter that moves almost like a Transformer from the movies and the share animation process will leave you in awe.

The story itself, while familiar, is done in such a way that makes it feel completely original and almost shocking. By the time the story ends, you'll be left satisfied that you played this game.

This game also has an online feature, so even after if you get tired of playing the main story campaign, you'll get a few extra hours of gameplay with the online modes. There are only two game modes, versus and a co-op mode. While I was unable to get a game in of the co-op, the versus gameplay was definitely fun to play, especially when you play under the no re-spawn settings and have to be really careful about stickng your neck out when trying to plant a bomb.

So what's there not to like? Well...

The characters are a little stereotypical. While it was nice to see most races represented, the voice work and dialogue of some of the characters often made me want to shut out some of the dialogue. I often chose a select group of people just so i wouldn't hear the voices of the other team members. The voice acting isn't bad. It's really good. I just wish that there wasn't such stereotypes.

The gameplay can get a little repetitive, but the gameplay is evenly paced, so your not always blasting robots in the same manor.

Sometimes i think the boss battles are a little TOO hard for the normal difficulty. This isn't really an issue but more of a minor nuisance. For instance, lets just saying you or an ally gets downed. You ask to get revived or you try to revive your team mate. Sometimes the enemy will completely obliterate you and you'll end up getting a mission failed (not always) if you you don't revive yourself or your team mates while the enemy is blasting away.

Online definitely gets the criticism here. Loading times are WAY too long and it often lags in and out of gameplay. it's difficult to have fun when you shoot someone only to watch them teleport two feet to the left and take you out with a shot gun.

Overall though, this game was a blast to play and i enjoyed it very much. I hope that a game just like it, or a sequel, is made in the future.

Heard from a podcast about this under-rated shooter. So far I am loving both the characters and the satisfying dismantling of robots with various weapons. I highly recommend it. Just don't use the mic to control teammates.

This is by far the best videogame peripheral I have ever used. The feel of the guitar is great. The buttons don't make that "clickity clack" that other guitars do, so it's not noisy and it feels very good when you're using it. The guitar itself is much larger than the normal GH or Rockband guitar, in fact it looks like a real guitar from across the room. All the chrome bits, the wood grain neck, and the inlays really make this a loving tribute to Mr. Harrison. If you love the Beatles and Rockband, I highly recommend it.

The guitar is basically a RB2 guitar (with the same automatic calibration features and what not) created to look exactly like George Harrison's old Gretsch, and it looks fantastic. You can tell a careful amount of work was done to make sure it was replicated properly. All the buttons are solid and the strum bar work great. Although the price is a bit steep at $100, if you love The Beatles and the guitar style this is a good pickup.

Sure. First off, I picked up this guitar because I had the game but no peripherals (I had been barrowing my brother-in-law's RB2 guitar and eventually he wanted it back). There are many cheaper guitar options I could have gone with, but if money is burning a hole in your pocket, you are best off buying this beauty.

The controller is visually stunning. Curvy, sleek, and solid. The white binding is a great nod to detail. The fret buttons work terrifically and feel much more responsive than the RB2 & RB1 guitars. One thing I absolutely love about this peripheral is the effects knob. Harmonix has replaced the toggle switch for overdrive effects with a round knob. That way you are not always bumping into it, changing the effects and what not (I like keeping mine on echo). However one thing I didn't really like was the placement of the 'select' button. I've never really been one to tilt my guitar to go into overdrive, I've always hit the select button because it helps to keep me focused. On the Gretsch however, the select button has been moved significantly farther down and away from the strum bar making it harder to locate. Good thing the tilt mechanic works great (unlike the other guitars that would either fight the tilt, or set off for no reason). Speaking of which, If you want to pick up an overdrive stomp box, you can plug it into the jack at the bottom of the guitar. That is also where the 'PS' and 'connect' buttons are located. The whammy bar is a bit deceiving. In the pictures it looks really different to what we are used to, but in all reality it's just a standard RB whammy bar with a chunk of plastic clipped on top. Still works great. One thing I noticed about the guitar (right out of the box) was that it sounds like something is loose inside. I've actually opened it up to see if I could find the culprit, but to no avail. Minor gripe. Auto-Cal works great.

If you are a Beatles nut like I am, then having the guitar that George played is a great treat. However, I still prefer the Rickenbacker controller because that is a facsimile of the guitar John actually used on stage with the Beatles in 1964. George stopped played the DuoJet in 1962 and was never seen on stage with it in the US.

The guitar is an excellent replica of George Harrison's Gretsch. The buttons and strum bar work great and the tilt mechanic works just like you would expect. This is a must have if you love the Beatles! My friends will be impressed.

This was an excellent purchase. It looks very stylish and neat and is compact so that I could fit it under the TV. The colors and low profile all help to make it look like a piece of art in the room.

Charging is great and ability to charge two sets at the same time means hours of play for both of us. Excellent product.

I bought this because it was cheap. At first it was uncomfortable, but then I realized i could adjust the ear hanger, and then it was nice. I guess so you could put it on either ear. I like how it plugs right into a USB port instead of needing a charging cable.

I purchased this headset at a local store and it did not work. Returned it and got a new one which also would not work. Neither one would charge. I tried to charge both of them with the USB on my playstation, computer, and wall charger with no luck on any of them following the directions precisely. I would never buy a product made by this company again.

Shortly after hooking up the headset I noticed that swinging the boom up and down would cause the mic to cut out and lose connection. After grabbing the screw driver and opening it up I was able to position the wires such that they didn't contact themselves. This solved the problem, but doesn't reflect well on the quality of the product.

Once I had it working correctly, it worked as advertised. The microphone mute button is nice as well as the on headset volume and mute controls. The only other complaint I would have would be the background buzzing. There is a low pitch buzzing when the headset is on which changes to a higher pitch when the mic is muted. The buzzing isn't very loud and can easily be ignored. It may have something to do with the wires in close proximity within the ear piece. I just don't want to have to open it up again to try and fix it.

Overall I rated this product 3/5. It would be a 4/5 based on how the headset is currently working for me, but I had to knock off another point based on the initial problem with the wires.
