This game by Square Enix, will be the sleeper game that nobody has heard about and may slip under your radar. It's the spiritual successor to the True Crime series and is a Far East take on the GTA series.

The game, unlike the GTA series starts off with a big bang and also attempt to streamline some of the GTA elements by keeping you focused mostly on the missions at hand. So far from what I have experienced, the game itself has great writing as well as great voice talent as it tells a not so common story of an undercover cop trying to infiltrate the Triads in Hong Kong.

One of the big aspects that I like in this game is the ability to incorporate some RPG elements in the game a'la SWKOTOR style. You get XP in 3 areas: Face XP (general public opinion), Triad XP (Triad devotion) and Cop (Cop devotion). You earn these in varying degrees based on how much or how little damage you do as you rampage through the streets of HK on your missions as well as your side missions.

Another aspect that some may enjoy is the combat style which was lifted from the Batman: Arkham series. You earn points by the number of combos and counters you pull off and while its nice on paper, occasionally it doesn't always work in game as sometimes you almost have to wait for enemies to attack to pull your moves. Another aspect to these attacks are enviromental bonuses you get for things like throwing enemies into dumpsters, electrocution and other sick moves and these moves can be leveled as you rpogress in the game.

One of the best ways that Sleeping Dogs has taken at trimming the fat from the game is that within a few hours of playing you can earn a lot of cash for things like wardrobe, cars and other items to get your gangsta on as opposed to the GTA series where earning certain perks takes a lot longer to get.

As far as the environement itself, it's very lifelike and you will hear English mixed with Cantonese and the city feels alive and spawling. Even the passersby have a somewhat more lifelike feel than what I have seen in GTA.

Graphically, in some areas, the game does feel a bit dated as if this was done a few years ago, this would have been a great answer to GTA and Saint's Row but for what it is with tight story telling and action, this game really is what Stranglehold (another great Far East crime game) from 2007 should have been.

I remember, when True Crime: Streets of Hong Kong was gonna come out, but the devs decided to gut it, last year. Then, I heard nothing else about the game. Several months ago, I saw some vids on this game called "Sleeping Dogs". Found out that Square Enix took over publishing rights to original True Crime game, renamed it and tweaked it. I must say, I am glad that Square Enix decided to take what was supposed to be the next True Crime game, and make it similar, but better. This game is probably the most fun and underrated games of 2012.

In the game, you play as undercover police officer, Wei Shen. He is a Chinese-American detective from San Francisco, who has been called to his native Hong Kong to help infiltrate a Triad gang, called "Sun On Yee". The game takes place in the streets of Hong Kong.

GAMEPLAY: The game is an open-world game ala Grand Theft Auto IV and Saint's Row: The Third, but it seems a little more immersive because of the fighting, interactions, and the cinematic essence in the game. The player can roam free and outside of car-jacking, the player can bet on cockfights and street races, join fight clubs, and do karaoke. Of course, the player can buy various things, such as vehicles, apartments, clothes, and upgrades.

By playing the role as an undercover cop, primary missions will be done on the police side and the Triad side. Also, there are side missions on both, such as drug bust for the police side and "helping" or doing "favors" for residences on the Triad side. "Helping" or doing "favors" can be interesting, but I'm not going to spoil many of the task you are asked to do.

Fighting is a LARGE part of the game. In fact, the fighting would be similar to what is in the Batman Arkham series. It is very addictive and immersive. Sometimes, I don't even feel like I am playing an open-world game. The hits are very hard and brutal. In addition, blocking and making counter attacks will make the player feel like a real kung-fu master. I never felt like such a bad-a** on a fighting game. I must say, it is no easy task, when fighting, especially when fighting seven or more opponents at the same time.

While fighting, a finishing move can be performed. When this happens, the game goes into slo-mo. At that time, seeing the character landing finishing punches or kicks in the opponent's face shows a nice amount of blood coming. It's quite satisfying. What's even better is many other attacks can be learned by finding statues around the city and going to the Do-jo to practice newly acquired attacks on the students.

The coolest part about fighting is using environmental attacks to take out opponents. The player can grapple opponents and throw them at walls, through boxes, phone booths, and electric panels. There are some other parts of the environment that can be used to take out opponents, but won't spoil those.

Driving has similarities to GTAIV, but is a little different. I would say that the driving is not as responsive and the camera angles takes getting used to, especially when going into reverse. Still, it is not much to complain about. It is cool to hear the Hong Kong-based radio stations. I get the feel that I'm actually there.

Shooting on this game is similar to that of Stranglehold, which means it is very animated. Not to mention, the game goes in slo-mo, when the player vaults, while shooting.

GRAPHICS: The graphics in this game are vivid, but not outstanding. I would say that the graphics are sort of dated, but the gameplay outshines that shortcoming, if you want to call it that.

VERDICT: Many people might not want to give this game a chance because they believe it is a knock-off of GTAIV. However, it is its own kind of game. Not to mention, what it lacks in graphics, it is a lot more fun, in my opinion. This game is definitely worth buying, especially since it has gone down in price.

I recently finished playing sleeping dogs, and to be honest...I didn't want it to end! This doesn't happen a lot with me, but this one was actually a great game to just have fun with. The story was Awesome and i can't wait for a second or some DLC (hopefully)! If your on the fence about this game, take it from me. Ive got 15 or 20 games preordered, so i play a bunch, and when i say that "I don't want this game to end"! Its probably worth a try! Great Job Square Enix on this one!

I've never reviewed anything on Amazon before, but when I saw that Sleeping Dogs sales figures were trailing other recent games, I thought I'd give it some love. I haven't had this much fun with a game since InFamous 2. It's kind of in that vein: open-world yet story driven with lots of side-quests sprinkled in. The story is great, the characters are memorable and actually have personalities. The voice cast is top-shelf (especially the guy who plays Wei). I've seen a lot of game mags and sites knocking the graphics, but these 33 year old eyes think it looks great! The controls are tight for both hand-to-hand and gun fights. And I LOVE the driving/racing in this game; it's all on the wrong side of the road, being in Hong Kong, but that's part of the fun! You can feel the culture of Hong Kong bleed through, but you won't feel like you don't belong there when you're playing it. This is the kind of game that makes me want to do nothing else, but find every last collectable and complete every side quest, yet I don't feel overwhelmed by the amount of them (*ahem* Batman Arkham City). A perfectly balanced game in every sense and if you enjoyed games like the InFamous series and/or GTA, this is for you. Thank you Square Enix for saving this from development limbo and putting out a great game well worth the steep opening price-tag.

If your a fan of the previous true crime games/series, you'll love this game. The hand to hand combat is fluid and almost reminiscent of batman arkham city. Though it's a sandbox game like GTA; it plays in its own style and isn't second to that at all.

To start off, If you are not a fan of the TV Show that this game is based off of, you will most likely be a little put off with this game. This is a game that does what it was intended to do, Give fans of NCIS a way to interact with the feeling of the show.

This is not to say that this is a game that will give you a feeling of inclusion that one would hope for however.

Mechanics:

While it does focus on some pretty action oriented themes, NCIS: The Game is a point and click adventure only. I was somewhat surprised by this due to the fact that the show has some of the best car chase and dramatic action sequences of this genre of television.

The game moves pretty smoothly for the most part, You take the role of the NCIS agent needed for any given task Tony/Ziva while collecting clues/evidence, Abby for the forensic analysis, Ducky for the autopsy portion, McGee for the Hacking/Database searches, and of course Gibbs when taking on a subject in interrogation. No matter who you are, the game moves along with a series of minigames that get progressively more difficult as you progress in the game. None of these should prove too challenging and failure has very little consequence other then having to replay the scene in question until you get it right.

In my mind this makes sense since they are reaching out to a large demographic of fans, many of which may not even play video games. In this, the game feels very casual and pretty much any fan of the show can pick it up and play.

Audio:

This is the part of the game that made me wince the most. The reason for this is simply in the voice acting. Please note that the characters in this game ARE NOT voiced by the cast of the show other then Ducky (David McCallum) and Anthony DiNozzo SR. (Robert Wagner)It's hard for me to describe this in the fact that many of the voice actors that were chosen to play the roles did not do a bad job, in fact many of them do a fairly decent adaptation of the characters with slight inconsistencies to the character, others however seem so out of place that you just can't quite push it to the back of your mind. The voice actor that portrays Gibbs in the game is probably the worst out of them. His lines are delivered in such a way that fans of the show (Like myself) find themselves shaking their heads at some of the dialog. Overall, the voice acting is a disappointment for a game that was heavily advertized by the show itself. You just end up wondering why they couldn't get the entire cast instead of just letting ducky and SR go it alone.

The rest of the audio is pretty much up to what you would expect, from the signature "Thump" as a scene ends to the title music playing through a pixelated version of the show's opening theme. In the game itself it is pretty well done. At the NCIS office you can here phones ringing and keyboards typing the in the background, various muffled conversations and pretty much everything else you'd expect in an office setting. The crime scenes play up the scene a bit with some low tension building background music that never gets loud enough for you to truly take note.

The audio of NCIS is a mix of what you'd expect and voices that just don't add up.

Story:

This is by far one of the games highlights. The game is set into 4 "Episodes" that play out very much like what you would expect from the show. Each episode is written by the writers of the show and it really comes across well. Each episode adding a bit more to the depth of the game while not drowning you with complex variables. Since this is a point and click minigame collection for the most part the story really helps to tie it all together and make each segment seem significant.

I won't give away any spoilers but by the time you reach the fourth and final episode it will become clear that all of these cases have something in common and the climax of the game brings you climing your way up the side of a building as Gibbs. While I would have wished for a bit more action from this scenario, the story comes across as something that any NCIS fan should at least enjoy as a "Lost episode" like faeture.

Graphics:

The game's graphics are nothing spectacular but serve their purpose, it is evident who is who and what you are looking for. While the backgrounds and characters are bland for the most part you never really feel like they are "too bad" either in the grand scheme of things.

Replay value:

I would say the replay value on this game is low, you can't move onto the next scene until you have completed 100% of your objective and you are practically given every Trophy/achievement in the game just for completing it so there's very little to go back to unless you feel the desire to go back several months/years down the line and replay it.

Length:

Each episode of the game lasts roughly an hour (Roughly the length of an episode of the show) However gamers with good coordination will probably be able to beat this game much quicker.

Overall:

This is a game that any fan of the show can get into, while you may not get exactly what you would hope out of the package you do get a bit of additional content for those of you who love the show and want a bit more. It's a good game and does what it was set up to do. But it is a casual experience, do not look for too much depth here. For this, I give the overall game 3/5 stars.

I love both in NCIS shows so I was ecstatic to find that they made a video game based upon the show. As soon as I got the game, I rushed to my PlayStation 3 ecstatic that I was going to be able to solve crimes alongside Gibbs and his team. I was a little disappointed to hear the voice actors were not the actors on the TV show all except for Ducky and it was a little surprising to hear the different voices than what I was used to hearing on the show. I also feel that they could have made the episodes longer or added more episodes for you to play. Because just when I got in the groove of what I was doing the game was over and the only option you have is to start it over again but by that time your you know how to solve the cases. Overall, it is a great game for someone who loves mystery games and loves the show.

I am a hardcore NCIS fan and wanted this game to be like the show. With action and free roaming . The game looks and sounds good. I hated to accept the realization that is is just a bunch of mini games . I wanted to interview people and run, drive and shoot.. Even work on a boat while drinking bourbon in Gibbs basement. I was hoping role playing or something. Feel how it is to walk around the office. Nothing of any sort. Not even the real actors voices. This was a rushed play on gamers love of the show to get a quick buck. No fun and it doesn't get any better then the first ten minutes. By the time you read this you should be able to get it used for a couple of dollars, literally. Even the most hardcore fan can do without.

While this controller feels great in you hand, for what it's designed to do it falls short.

As a FPS controller this thing has all the right features, turbo/macro, sensitivity settings. However the right stick has way too much dead zone for anything but left and right. As a person who prefers to be a sniper in most games this is a dealbreaker.

Go ahead try to make a tiny circle with the controller in any sensitivity setting. The controller seems to only work well in 0-45-90 degree rotations and nothing in between. Making small adjustments to my aim in games was frustrating and not worth what I spent. I went right back to my DS3 and was much more satisfied.

If the team could make the analog sticks work as well as the DS3 then it would be a great controller. However for shooters this just doesn't work.

I did however kick some ass in button mashers. (IE running games, some fighters)

This controller fits my hands so much better than Sony's Dualshock. It has almost an Xbox 360 feel to it (whose controller I prefer) and all the buttons are very responsive and work excellently. Plus, it looks sleak.

Highly recommended.. Mass Effect Trilogy is playing WAY better with it than the Dualshock..

I like this product, and people will especially when they convert Consoles, (WII U or Xbox to PS3) Button Mapping is flawless, very fluent, and closely compacted, as well as a flawless D-Pad that's easy to maneuver. Holding it doesn't make your hands cramp, enough space to hold it w/ both hands and is a MUST have for Xbox Controller Lovers. Controller should be more expensive, it's very nice and cheap and the material feels very nice in my hand. Only Con is the back buttons and the sensitivity on the R3. Back Buttons are Stiff and the R3 Button is sensitive, but easy to get used to after you use it. Over-all rating / 8.5 (See the Review Video here: By Cronizone)

One of the things I dislike about the PS3 is the DualShock 3 controller, I love the Xbox 360 controller and this product has the best of both worlds, the battery lasts even longer than the DualShock's one and the controller itself is very comfortable.

The turbo feature is amazing too, I don't use it that much but it's very helpful when you have a very repetitive task in a game and you have to press the same button a lot of times, this aplies mostly to RPGs for me.

Want PlayStation 3 GC-2 Wireless Controller Discount?

Pros:

-great thumbsticks (feel just like an xbox 360 controller with the placement as well)

-responsive buttons

-good size and comfort while holding

-nice triggers and decent bumpers

Cons:

-cannot turn the console on via the controller

-the top plastic and bottom plastic fit together poorly, a minor design flaw

-dpad and bumpers are a little squishy for my liking

If you are looking for a good alternative controller for the PS3 and prefer the alternate thumbstick layout of the xbox 360 controllers look no further. Connecting the controller is super simple. Just plug in the included USB dongle and press the home button. The connection is consistent and strong. The controller overall is designed well. It is comfortable to hold and doesn't cramp your hand like the default thumbstick layout of the original PS3 controllers. Besides the minor cons that I mentioned above, it is a fantastic controller and I'll be ordering another one soon.

I don't like giving out too many 1 star reviews, most really bad games deserve 2 stars, and I almost did, so we will call it a 1.5 star review.

When I first saw this game I thought hey that's almost like Downhill Domination from the ps2 days, mixed with Pure, Looks good. I played the first track in a GameStop, it was fun. Bought the game played a bit and started shaking my head.

I'm ok with the concept, no real physics, ridiculous drops and insane tracks, steering in the air, but!!!!

The game is so inconsistent, you crash for no reason (literally), and don't crash driving full speed in to a rock face. And the boost blur in an awful gray scale, mashed up with `speed lines' all around the screen causes a major impedance in seeing where the hell the track is, and then you crash for no reason again. And again. And again...

As for the multiplayer, there is none, oh yes it says it on the box, and there is even a multiplayer menu to select quick race or whatever but I have never once seen anybody playing online.

Speaking of menus, when you unlock a new part to "upgrade" your ATV or bike, it doesn't tell you what that part is, so you have to look through every menu in the parts upgrade thing just to find out it's a new set of tires that you won't use anyway.

All in all, I got sick of driving over a pebble and crashing, or not hitting anything and crashing or not crashing when I totally should have, and then getting stuck, loosing valuable time when I could have been crashing.

Unplayable, you are a trooper if you make it all the way through, it's not impossible just a big waste of time, just play Pure or pray someone makes a Downhill Domination 2.

I bought this game without any reviews what a mistake that was...unrealistic physics, no crash sequence ,annoying re-spawn splash screen, game play is tedious at best and stays that way, dated motor sounds(resembles a child blowing raspberrys seriously!! they couldn't do better?? really??) I will say the graphics are outstanding though but that's not enough to redeem it. I bought it for Christmas and I'm already getting rid of it.

Nail'd is a decent game in a field of excellent competitors. The game itself is fun in the beginning but starts to wear thin a little quicker than most. After about 30 minutes of gameplay you start to notice all the missing polish on both the audio and graphical side of things. I had an extremely bad problem with textures and audio cut outs. That being said they did get other things right, mainly the tracks, which are extremely fun to drive around. I would recommend this game as long as you can pick it up for a reasonable price

I will have to say as the other reviewers that this game is absolutely unplayable on PS3. Now PC is a different story, its a lot of fun, yet nothing to new. This has to be the worst ported game in the history of the PS3, the frame rate is so bad you get a headache from all the jagged movements. The graphics are so washed down it looks like a PS2 game. I'm not understanding why they took a mediocre game and put it on PS3 to make it an Atrocity. Even the 360 version is pretty good, the demo i played that is. I warned a friend of mine not to get this for PS3, via the demo i played on it(i literally thought there was something wrong with my system), he wouldnt listen, now he's out 50 bucks. I actually downloaded mine for PC, and you can play using one hand, just the w, s, a, and d, and boosting with shift. So on PC the game is pretty decent, this version omg, a total embarrassment for the PS3. This game should be taken off the shelves for PS3, and discounted for PC, and 360 at least. I can't even see how they tested it and released it. Oh well.

Got this game for my nephews...it is really fun and flashy, but some things could have used improvement. The online is just atrocious, they should have improved it greatly before releasing this game. There are a lot of characters which is nice. Besides Jill/Shuma (which aren't that great IMO), the DLC is pretty crappy. I wish the arcade mode would be longer. Sometimes the game seems kind of hectic, but this is to be expected with MvC. The fighting is overall very fun and I like the stages.

Kinda feel ripped off that Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is coming out so soon after this.

Intro:

I'm a LONG time fan of the fighting game series and when the announcement for the game was done ALL of my friends who were fans and me jumped for joy. I pre-ordered originally from Best Buy and long story short they sold my copy, cancelled ordered one on here that was about $80, made me wait 3 weeks until telling me their supplier could not get them the game. So one last time on Amazon and I happily received my game .

Game play:

The game play is a simple 3 vs 3 tag team battle. Players fight using teams of both Capcom and Marvel characters. First person to lose all health on all 3 characters loses or the one with the lowest life loses. Players can "tag in" their team members anytime, while their opponent also can forcefully switch their team by performing a "snap-back". The other team members not being used can be also used as an assist who can jump in for a moment (along with the character you have control over currently), perform a move of combo and hop back off screen. There is also a specials bar meter that the player can store and use to pull off devastating special moves. The controls have 2 set of buttons "normal" or "simple". Normal has 6 button use:

Normal:

"Light", "Medium", "Heavy", "Special" (Essentially the launch for air combos), "Partner 1", "Partner 2"

Where as simple mode makes it easy for players just starting:

"Attack"(Replaces "Light" and allows players to perform combos with one simple button, "Special" (Replacing "Medium" button does moves such as for Ryu, Hadouken), "Hyper Combo" (Replaces "Heavy" and does a bar special.), and the same 3 other buttons.

The current roster is 40 (38 without DLC characters). People complain about the character selection but I, along with others see no problem with it. Sure we lost old favorites (Megaman and Gambit to name an example) but we've gained new interesting notable ones (X-23 and Amaterasu for example). Future DLC characters are TBA but will eventually be out.

There is a training mode to practice new moves and combos. There's also mission mode which helps you get use to a character as well and improve your game play. Online has player (Friendly/Casual Like) and ranked(Serious/Competition Like) matches. There are online leader boards and statistic trackers so you can review yourself and compare yourself to friends/other players. There is also customizations for player title and emblem (not Black Ops custom level, think MW2 custom level). The gallery has character models and profile viewers to learn more of their origins.

Video:

Graphics are great and make me not mind the 3D model transaction opposed to the previous 2D model. Also like the comic feel and presentation of the endings with it. The gallery has concept art, character art.

Sound:

Like the video I am very impressed although it was a given. Players also have the choice to change Capcom characters to either English or Japanese voices. (I prefer Street Fighter and Megaman Characters in Japanese while Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe, and Resident Evil characters in English voices.) There's also a gallery to view sounds or characters and BGM.

Overall:

I hate to admit it but I love it as I do with all or most games. I even bought a Hori Real Arcade Pro V3 SA for it. The game is aimed at casual players with the simplified "normal" controls (rather than a standard fighting game Light, Medium, Heavy punch/kick. or the MvC2 buttons (Light/Heavy Punch, Light/Heavy Kick, Assist 1, Assist 2). I can still have fun with it and my friends who consider me good when I don't (Ha...) enjoy watching me and sometimes playing against me. The online may be an issue for some, but I have no problems. However like any fighting games there's also problems with some players (spammers, etc.) so be warned.

If you want tips or more info here's a game guide to it:I give the game a 5/5.

Buy Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds: Special Edition Now

Has it really been a decade since Marvel VS Capcom 2? It seems like only yesterday I first discovered it in an arcade and eventually played it to death on the Dreamcast all those years ago, so saying that Marvel VS Capcom 3 has big shoes to fill is saying it lightly. Featuring graphics similar to Super Street Fighter IV and Tatsunoko VS Capcom; Marvel VS Capcom 3 takes all the insane combos and crazy character team-ups and gives them a serious upgrade. There is so much chaos going on on-screen that keeping up with it is difficult at first, but the game delivers everything that fans of the Marvel VS Capcom series have been yearning for. It looks and plays spectacularly, is easy to pick up and play, and it's final boss in Arcade Mode is Galactus (!), which makes the game worth checking out regardless. The only gripes I have with Marvel VS Capcom 3 is that the character roster isn't nearly as massive as it was the last time around, but that's understandable. However, while giving both Normal and Simple control schemes before you start playing gives button mashing gamers a whole new way to inflict damage. This choice between Normal and Simple comes off as being a bit cheap, especially considering how surprisingly deep the fighting engine was in Marvel VS Capcom 2. Still though, Marvel VS Capcom 3 is a spectacular achievement, and is more than worth picking up.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is in a word...PERFECT. But since this is a review I have to say more. MvC series goes back a long time to PS1 and I loved those games, so my expectations were very high for this game. And this game is absolutely wicked, first of all I have to talk about the game has the same tag team feature like the past games so no worries on that. This time the fighters are 3D which really set them out from the stage and environment , the gameplay is slower than the ones of the past and you have 3 attack buttons like Tatsunoko vs. Capcom if you have a Wii. When playing this game the fighters and their moves are so fluid and precise, I can imagine if these people were real that's how they'd do it because they look so good doing it. Now for the fighters there's 36 of them plus 2 if you got DLC for preordering so the list is shorter than MvC2, the list is awesome some fighters made it that I didn't think would like: Taskmaster, Super-Skrull, Albert Wesker and Chris Redfield from Resident Evil and I can't forget one of my favorites X-23 she's better than Wolverine and they dropped fighters such as Venom, Captain Commando and Gambit but it's hard to focus on the negative. Of course you got your usual fighters like Ryu, Hulk, Captain America and Chun li. The combos are incredible the whole linking, juggling, tagging in and out and the versatility of the combos are spectacular. Then the Hyper Combos how they have improved are really great even linking them are cool and how some of them make good counters and anti-air attacks like Iron Man cannon now can be angled for a jumper as well as Ryu's hadokens. I can't spoil it for you because I can talk about this game for hours. You know Capcom is truly on a hot streak with fighting games they hit hard with SF4 then SSF4 and of course Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on wii all of these were perfect. So for my review: GAMEPLAY 5stars this feels/handle better than previous MvCs and the combos are better too , GRAPHICS 5stars this game is 3D and looks beautiful, FIGHTERS 5stars they improved on an already great roster, ONLINE 5stars some minor drops here and there but what multiplayer doesn't have that. MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3: FATE OF TWO WORLDS 5STARS... PERFECT!!!

MVC3 took away a lot of the variation for combos by changing the button layout. What they did was dumb down the game to try to make it easier for new players to just pick up the game and start mashing. Also, if you don't know what you are doing or mess up slightly with ANY CHARACTER, you will lose the the character to a short combo and two supers with minimal effort. For example with MVC2, You could lose a character to a long combo BUT, it REQUIRED SKILL(precise timing) to do so. (Magneto, Iron Man, Sentinel, Storm, Anakaris, Cable, Etc.)

Not to mention the fact that they are, or so it appears to be, doing the same thing with the MVC franchise that they did with Street Fighter 4: Release an INCOMPLETE GAME and release ANOTHER VERSION with a few more things added in, rather than using an on-line patch/update for the game. Also, lets not forget the SELLING of "extra" characters. They really should not be selling an incomplete game.

An eye sore in the game: The OVER EXAGGERATED visual effects when a character gets hit by an attack. They get in the way when one is trying to use an opponents animation to visually time a combo.

Walk away people.

Just orderd this item (energizer power & play for Ps3) and it works great charges quickly looks sleek and very sharp, but it is a lil light weight but it serves its purpose and is fairly sturdy. The one issue that i had was after you connected controller light is red during the charge stage, when charge is complete it than turns greeni could find no info about whether or not i could leave controllers on charging unit-would it continue to charge and burn the controller down over time(afer doing my due dillegence and thorough research) the answer is no--once controller is fully charged the light will turn green at that point there is no need to disconect power because that channel stop producing chargeone would think otherwise seeing the green light but this unit in fact stops the process doing no harm to controller so leave it on all day it wont ruin controller--figured this might help--

I read some mixed reviews about the Pelican version of this exact same product and did not want to buy one of their units. I then saw that Energizer has the EXACT SAME product but with their name and warranty attached to it. That made me feel perfectly comfortable and I ended up buying one. It's been really good so far. I am able to plug the controllers in easy with one hand now so it's not as bad as I thought it would be. The lights are not as bright as other units but are still a tad too bright for my home theater room. I have to put this out of site so the lights don't distract me during movies.

No problems so far and a very nice design makes this a 5 star product for me.

This is an incredible product. Looks very slick, really matches the black-and-silver of the PS3. The clear controller charge indicators are also very nice-looking. You can charge 2 controllers in the slots, and there are also 2 powered USB slots for the charging cables. You can use these to charge the PS3 official headset (or any other USB devices). The controller ports are standard Mini-USB connections. They have a clear bit of plastic on top that holds the controller. It lights up dimly red when charging and green when finished -this looks really cool.

Overall, this is an extremely good-looking, stylish, and useful accessory for charging your PS3 peripherals. Really fits the style and look of the PS3, and also has convenient USB slots and charging-indicator lights. Highly recommended.

I received this PS3 Controller earlier in the week. It was easy to set up, all I had to do was take it out of the box and plug it into my power conditioner (surge protector). The controllers fit perfectly into the holders even with the controller skins intact.

The light turns red when charging and changes to green once the controllers are fully charged. I haven't used the side USB ports yet but I am sure they also work fine.

I would recommend this product to those who hate turning on the PS3 controller just to charge their controllers and those who want a cool looking stand.

Want Playstation 3 Energizer Power & Play Charging System Discount?

This is a sleek looking device with the added convenience of USB ports on the side, so charging extra controllers is easy if you can put up with the wires. Mine worked great with only the standard complaints about the difficulty in adding and removing the controllers from the docks and the "lightness" of its construction. Once in they worked, but I found with mine that, over time, I believe they became worn to the point where it will no longer charge the controllers. For a while I could wiggle the controllers and coax the lights back on, but I can only assume that the wear and tear of two children plugging the units in about once a day took its toll (though they were actually careful with it). At least the two USB side ports still work.

I refuse to spend another almost $30 on a replacement, so I am going to give the Nyko Charge Base 2 a try....

Update: After a couple months of comparison the Nyko is superior to the Energizer unit in my opinion. Though perhaps not as stylish, it is more durable, does not need to be held to stay in place and, functionally, is a better option, especially if you have kids or dock and undock the controllers frequently. I'll keep this one somewhat shorter than most of my other reviews since I already reviewed the original version of this game. If you want more details on the story and gameplay of Ninja Gaiden 3, then feel free to check under my profile for the review. For this review, I'll be listing all the new additions and improvements that have been included in Razor's Edge.

Aside from the swords Ryu already wielded in the original game (Dragon Sword, Jinran-Maru, and Blade of the Archfiend), most of the weapons and ninpo from Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 have been added to Razor's Edge and are acquired as you go further through the main story. You get the Falcon's Talons, Eclipse Scythe, Lunar Staff, Kusari-gama, Blade of the Archfiend and Jinran-Maru (dual swords), Inferno ninpo, Wind Blades ninpo, and Piercing Void ninpo. All these weapons and ninpo are upgradeable. Also, hitting enemies with ninpo attacks has Ryu regain some health.

Additional upgrades and abilities can be earned with Karma points, such as the Guillotine Throw, the ability to automatically dodge an attack by using up a portion of the ninpo meter, and the ability to enter a meditative state in order to drain some of your ninpo energy in exchange for more health.

Golden scarabs from Ninja Gaiden Sigma are scattered throughout the levels. Collecting enough of them earns you a couple of weapons and extra Karma points. Crystal Skulls from NGS 2 are also scattered around each level, only this time when you find one you are taken to a special challenge arena where you fight waves of enemies from all three Ninja Gaiden games, and at the end of each challenge arena you fight a boss from one of the first two games (Doku, Alma, Genshin, etc.). These challenges are optional, which is good because they're very tough and at times even frustrating.

The enemies in Razor's Edge put up a much greater challenge than they did in the original version, although for the most part they're still not quite as frustrating as they were in the first Ninja Gaiden. A few new alchemist and monster enemies have been added in the story missions, as well as more enemies from NGS 2 (mostly more Fiends). The human enemies also no longer beg for their lives and try to crawl away when critically injured like they did in the original game, now they all try to kill you with kamikaze moves (although the Black Spider Ninjas always did this). On a related note, those set pieces from the original game where Ryu was slowly approaching one of the soldier or alchemist enemies and kills them while they were pleading with Ryu to spare their lives have been taken out of the game completely. No big loss there, they weren't needed. Furthermore, enemies can now be dismembered again like in NGS 2, only with the added benefit of copious amounts of blood gushing out of their wounds instead of the more kid friendly purple mist.

The set-pieces in the original game where the Grip of Murder curse takes a hold of Ryu have been drastically changed for the better. Instead of simply staggering around and killing enemies in one blow, Ryu hallucinates being in a barren wasteland and is attacked by several waves of enemies, all while his health is being depleted by the curse. The only way to survive is by killing all the enemies as quickly as possible to regain portions of his health.

Unlike in the original version of this game, Ultimate Techniques can now be performed at will and charged up to three levels, just like in the previous games. However, killing enough enemies to the point where Ryu's arm glows red allows him to perform a fully charged Ultimate Technique in an instant.

The Steel on Bone mechanic is still intact in Razor's Edge, although pulling it off in this game has Ryu regain portions of his health.

The Kunai Climb also remains, but it's much easier to perform in this game.

Ayane has two story missions of her own where she fights enemies in a couple of new locations alongside Ryu's story missions. After completing the game, Ryu, Ayane, Momiji, and Kasumi are all unlocked and can be used in the ninja trials mode. All four characters can be used in chapter selection as well, so you can play previously completed story missions as any of the four characters (Momiji and Kasumi do not have their own story missions).

And there you have it. While I actually enjoyed the original Ninja Gaiden 3, despite its flaws, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is simply a better version of the game by any standards. The fact that it's more challenging, but not quite as infuriating as the first Ninja Gaiden, makes this my favorite game of the series overall. Basically, it combines the challenge of Ninja Gaiden Sigma with the better controls, weaponry, and ninpo of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. If you've already bought the original Ninja Gaiden 3 and didn't enjoy it, then go ahead and trade it in for Razor's Edge, it's pretty much what any fan of the series is looking for. Even if you're like me and you actually enjoyed the original version of this game (which I admit isn't very likely), you should still get this version, it's just plain better.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge (hereafter Razor's Edge), the once exclusive Wii U title, arrives on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 shortly after its release on Nintendo's console, and perhaps, much to the chagrin of Ninja Gaiden 3 owners. It's one thing to have to read about the debacle that was Ninja Gaiden 3, but for gamers who purchased the title at launch, the mere existence of Razor's Edge may have soured any attempt for Team Ninja to redeem themselves.

The plot still centers around a terrorist organization, led by a masked man with a taste for the theatrical, who demands the absolute surrender of all the nations within seven days; if the world doesn't comply, the world will die. And if that wasn't daunting enough for Ryu Hayabusa, the protagonist throughout all the Ninja Gaiden titles, a curse is brought upon him, infecting his arm, and soon his entire being, with the deaths his Dragon Sword has delivered.

However, what could have been a straightforward, effective narrative becomes convoluted, with contrived plot twists, and a perfunctory attempt to humanize Ryu. There isn't anything wrong with evolving a character, but I'm not sure if anyone was asking for the stoic ninja to contemplate what life would be like being a father.

If you're wondering if the derided "choice" sequences have carried over from Ninja Gaiden 3, or any of the life-begging soldiers which Ryu would cut down apathetically, the answer is, thankfully, no.

The campaign does have its moments, mainly with the cutscene direction, and because of Ryu, who's simply a magnetic character. His cool demeanor and ninja excellence are on full display, and occasionally, he exhibits some dry humor as well. There is also a fantastic reference to the original Ninja Gaiden, and long-time fans of the series will definitely appreciate it. In fact, the nods to previous Ninja Gaiden titles and, more than ever, Team Ninja's Dead or Alive series, are the most enjoyable aspects, such as when Hayate, from Dead or Alive, loans Ryu his sword (though unfortunately, Hayate doesn't personally make an appearance). Cameos from fan favorites, like Joe Hayabusa and Muramasa, are nice touches.

The chapters act as days during the campaign, with two additional chapters devoted to Ayane, who isn't just playable, but also has her sections woven into the story. The other two playable characters, Momiji and Kasumi, can be selected for chapter challenges, and the ninja trials.

Razor's Edge doesn't leave Ryu with only his trusty Dragon Sword, which was the case in Ninja Gaiden 3, and you'll find virtually all the weapons that have graced the previous installments, with only Emma's Fang, the broadsword, not being available. Add the unique weapons and move sets for Ayane, Momiji, and Kasumi, and you have a variety of ways to slaughter your foes.

You do not, however, have a variety of engaging environments to do so in, at least in the campaign. Levels are flat and lifeless, with little in the way of activity. Razor's Edge is linear to a fault, and I'm not looking for anything that would defy the genre, but the formula of shuffling Ryu from area to area, throwing countless enemies in his direction, and repeating this for the entire game, does get old rather quickly. Scarabs are scattered about for you to collect, along with skulls (which allow access to campaign trials), but uninspired environments do not encourage exploration, and it isn't much fun to comb the areas to collect them all. Couple that with the lack of any interactive objects-no chests to open; no pottery to break; etc.-and you're left with only killing. A lot of killing.

Razor's Edge does not hesitate to inundate Ryu with commandos, ninja, fiends, and mutants to dismember, and by the end of the campaign, you should have amassed a body count more in line with Dynasty Warriors than Ninja Gaiden.

Speaking of dismemberment, it returns in Razor's Edge. Finishers are also found here, and with them, an astonishing amount of arterial spray. The Steel on Bone mechanic has been revamped, and now works as an offensive counter: if you hit an enemy with a heavy attack while they're bursting red, indicating they're about to perform a hold, you'll execute them with a brutal attack; Steel on Bone can be chained to obliterate multiple enemies in sequence, leaving Ryu awash in blood, and you feeling like an all-powerful ninja-it's a win-win.

The biggest change would be health management. Health restoration items have been removed, and in order to refill the bar, Ryu must resort to using ninpo attacks (three are available, as opposed to Ninja Gaiden 3′s lone attack), which restore a bit of health upon damaging enemies. Meditating, which is also new, transfers meter from ninpo to health. Save points will fully restore the meter, and karma points can be spent to upgrade, and restore, the health meter. Overall, monitoring your health leads to a more mindful approach to ninpo use.

In regard to the upgrade system, Razor's Edge allows you to upgrade weapons and ninpo at any time through the menu, as long as you have the appropriate amount of karma points, which are acquired by killing enemies. Ryu also has abilities he can learn, along with costumes that can be purchased.

If you have an interest in tackling the harder difficulties after completing the single-player, it's only the costumes that carry over when starting a new game, and it is tedious to go through the entire unlocking process again.

You may have little interest in ratcheting up the difficulty, though. Razor's Edge poses a stiff challenge on normal, and some of the boss battles lead to absolute frustration, and may have you screaming obscenities at your cat.

The campaign may be lackluster, but Razor's Edge makes up for it with its ninja trials. Featuring over 100 to master, the trials leverage enemies, bosses, and stages from every Ninja Gaiden, at least the games from the previous generation of consoles and the current. The trials can be tackled with all the characters after the single-player has been completed, but I found using my custom ninja to be the most enjoyable. You can create your own character, and unlock numerous armor pieces to customize your look, and upgrade weapons and learn abilities like you would during the campaign. It's fun and addicting. Your character can also be taken online, to either team-up with a friend for co-op trials, or joining a four versus four clan match. However, it is important to note that if your internet connection is lost during a trial, or if Team Ninja's network is spotty, you'll be booted from the game mid-trial. Considering the difficulty these trials pose, to be kicked near the end of an exceptionally pressing battle will no doubt bring out your own murderous intent. It's best to disable the network features if you plan on investing any serious time to the trials.

Razor's Edge may not be as refined as Ninja Gaiden Black, or as intently aggressive as Ninja Gaiden 2, but it cuts its own place in the series with fun, violent combat, and a lot of content to conquer. Team Ninja really went out to set things right with Razor's Edge, insofar as to include a letter of apology in every game. Okay, that last part isn't true, but if you have a Ninja Gaiden 3 save on your console, you do get an exclusive costume in Razor's Edge. It all may be too little, too late, but at the least Team Ninja has acknowledged the mistakes they made, and have produced a solid installment. It's just too bad they didn't get it right the first time.

The obliteration technique is the only thing that was missing in the last ninja gaiden, and the other stories with the femmes fatales is a good reward... But the story is the same, nothing changes at all.

As I'm sure most people know, Team Ninja's release of Ninja Gaiden 3 was met with mixed to extremely negative reviews (many considered it to be one the most disappointing games of 2012). While I can understand the company's need to be do something different, they ultimately stripped away everything that made the NG series great. Thankfully, this year fans were graced with Razor's Edge, a far cry from its predecessor in nearly every way. The hyper violence is back, the upgrade system is back, the arsenal of weapons and ninpos is back and to my personal glee, the additional characters return (with Kasumi being a new addition). In short, this is the version of NG3 that should've been made all along and is a must buy for hack n' slash fans and for NG fans who are still trying to get over the vanilla version.

I like this game, because they use the actual music videos, and there's a wide selection of songs. Haven't used the dance part yet, but the singing is just the same as the others. Only complaint is that I'm used to singing expert on Rock Band and I get 100% on songs, but on Singstar, I use medium and still don't get a very high score. But it's a good game.

This is a decent upgrade to the standard Rock Band guitar if you're willing to spend the extra money. The build is solid and has a heavier feel than the standard guitar. The metal whammy bar and buttons are a nice touch, and the fret buttons are quieter than the first generation guitar.

One important caveat: when first playing it, the plastic neck separated slightly and caused another click when pressing the fret buttons. This did not affect play, but was annoying (considering the price of the guitar). I performed some minor surgery by removing the screws and adding some superglue to the inside of the neck. No issues so far.

If you're looking for an attractive upgrade to your Rock Band guitar or want to annoy your wife with more fake plastic instruments, this is a good deal. Recommended.

When I received it, I was somewhat impressed. The frets seemed to be very quiet and responsive, it was the usual plastic, but had a better, quality feel to it. When I played it, I was truly shocked at how loud the strum bar was. This thing is so loud, I'm surprised my neighbor didn't knock on my door and ask what I was beating on. I live in a town home that has pretty decent insulation. I can turn up my TV/stereo up to a decent level without disturbing the neighbors. The strum bar was LOUDER than the gameplay music! You would have to have your stereo cranked up simular to the loudness of a club for the strum bar to not be a factor. How did this even go into production with the strum bar being this loud? I can't see anyone wanting to use this guitar unless they have a massive stereo system that is cranked up every time they play.

Thank You THQ, Thank you. Improved Game Play= Rider Leveling now has a point to it and you can feel your rider get better and more comfortable with the bikes. You actually start as a "Weekend Warrior"(HAHA:) "Bang bars" to vie for position, get credit for Hole shots, scrub jumps, much deeper customization for bikes and riders, tighter/better tracks, indicator for riders approaching from the rear and which side they are coming from, bike sounds are vastly improved, music is enjoyable mostly rock/punk feel, much more... A.I.= The intelligence of computer riders in "Reflex" was deplorable, "Alive" has changed all that. No longer will riders go straight off a berm like its a jump just to wipe your ass out. (Who the hell wouldn't even try for a turn?) Also, you can battle back and not just fall when touched by another bike. New Physics for the Riders and Bikes,= The bike no longer feels and looks like it is on an X,Y axis through the middle of the bike and player. The bike "feels" real, like it actually has weight to it, you will have to have your speed up and push hard off the jump to throw the weight of the bike around for a nice whip(No more whipping it every little jump). Balance that with improved "reflex" control and weight distribution of the rider and we have a winner!! Now the bad stuff... While they did get #7 involved with the project, whether just for sponsorship or actual game input also(i don't know if any pro riders had input on game play) it is good to see the MX community getting at least a little back, but this brings my beef... Where are the real TRACKS, BIKES? My rider is wearing "AlpineStars,ANSWR,FOX,TLD",etc. But i can't ride a Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda etc.???.... Oh and you seem to have forgot Ricky C...? I didn't want to add graphics to the negative list but I have to only for the fact that they are not as good as could be (same engine as "reflex") and presented in 720.(Really?) BUT, the graphics have been cleaned up, especially while racing, riders look good their jersey looks wind blown alot more detail but tracks and backgrounds are still way pixilated, just still too blurred for my taste.... Done with the beef. OVERALL GREAT GAME. Supposed to be lots of DLC for personal customization of game. And online experience is being presented as much cleaner then last installment(please, no more "waiting/riding rooms" for 15 min...) Have not experienced online due to PSN outage and I won't take the time to get back on here and tell you about it. Just go buy it so i can whoop your ass when it goes back online. "Challenge him dude".

I've played a few MX Games Before but this one is definitely my favorite. The Single Player in the Beginning is a bit boring and repetitive, but once you level up past 10 and get used to it it's lots of fun. Now that PSN is back up, this game Online Rocks. I can't put the controller down. This game is a Great buy For $33 after the Promotional Credit. Don't listen to the Negative comments because they judged it without giving it a Chance. Initially I hated this game and still do hate the beginning of the game. You start off only having two outdoor tracks to race, free ride, and two stupid short tracks (a figure 8). I had to race each of the two outdoor tacks probably 20 times before I unlocked the next couple of outdoor tracks. I think this game leaves a lot to be desired. For starters, I actually enjoyed the feel and being able to scrub every jump in reflex. Throwing around the bike made it a lot more fun. Another HUGE flaw with this game is there is no supercross!! Really? What the heck, its a motocross game but there are no supercross tracks. That is just dumb. Also, there is no career mode or points series in the game. All you can really do is ride the outdoor tracks over and over and over (I don't like the free ride or short tracks). I mean what kind of racing game doesn't have a career or points series mode? What if a NASCAR or Need for Speed game didn't have that? That would be horrible. This is no different. Some of the things I did like about the game were the graphics which I think were better then reflex and the AI of the computer. In the end, I don't think this game is all that great and I have owned every single MX vs ATV game. At the end of the day I think this game is a step below reflex and its a good thing I didn't trade reflex in when I bought this game.

Pros:

-Graphics are superb

-Sound is great

-AI of the computer is the best of any MX vs ATV game

-Lots of options for customizing your rider, gear, and bike

-More real life riders then reflex

Cons:

-NO SUPERCROSS! :(

-No dune buggies or airplanes when you get bored of racing

-No points series or career mode

-Preload is painful to get perfect on every jump

-Takes forever to unlock new tracks, have to re-race the same tracks over and over

-A lot of the tracks are the same exact map with different layouts

-No actual freestyle competitions

-The feel of the rider on the bike isn't like reflex. Whipping the bike is hard to do and when you do it, it doesn't look right

-When you pass a guy you look back and put your hand up to taunt them, kinda dumb in my oppinion

FAILURE

As an addicted REFLEX gamer I was highly anticipating the hyped up sequel ALIVE. I was disappointed to say the least. Here's the short and sweet.

Most reviews I've read so far on this game glamour and rage about the graphics being far superior over Reflex.

FALSE, I own a brand new $25,000 dollar entertainment system with a 82 inch 3D TV and this game could not keep up. The graphics were slow, glitchy, pixilated and flat out terrible. I had absolutely ZERO problems with REFLEX as it was far superior on MY system.

PRO's:

AF riders don't intentionally wreck you if you are winning (best update to the series)

Tire tracks in the dirt/mud are more realistic

Engine Sounds are more realistic

Rider ability evolves as you progress....however, it still is leaves much to be desired.

Rider Reflex seems a little more realistic.

CON's:

Two bikes....That's it...that's all the choice you have unless you purchase more online

Short, figure "8" style courses

NO SUPERCROSS

TINY Free Ride with no hill climbs, and lame jumps. Free ride can be conquered in 10 minuts of play. REFLEX took hours+

Nailing, pulling off and landing jumps is much more difficult because of the added feature of the clutch

CLUTCH....as if we needed one more button to control (BTW they changed the controller configuration making it uncomfortable to learn if you spent any time playing the previous versions)

You MUST play the same two tracks OVER and OVER until you build up enough XP to make it to level 10 which is boring, repetitive and stupid even if you finish 1st in the race.

LACK OF CUSTOM BIKE PARTS AND FEATURES ALONG WITH RIDER MODS & APPAREL

based more along the game PURE where you unlock a series of upgrades rather than earning money to buy the ones you want.

there are less name brand parts and rider apparel and gear than REFLEX

DIFFICULT TURNS Making the turns is far more difficult and nearly impossible using the "Reflex" riding system VS. the previous version.

My advice: If your debating on this or REFLEX; get REFLEX. If you own REFLEX and you debating buying this game,; BUY IT, PLAY IT, and make up your own mind. IF you've never played both, buy ALIVE, play it, return it and then buy REFLEX. I'm glad I got it at a local gaming store. I returned it after 9 days for full refund and a new game. I'm going to go play and try to beat REFLEX for the 3rd time! Much more entertainment value.

Want MX vs ATV Alive Discount?

It's about time. A realistic game that makes you work while riding. It's not just holding down a button and turning like the older games. It's about body control , movement of the motorcycle . It's the way it should be. I will update the review more as the dlc becomes available but so far I can say it's the best MX yet.

I recently bought this as a second cable for our 47" Vizio LCD (VO47LFHDTV). My daughter has a PS2 she usually plays in her bedroom TV but we sometimes bring the PS2 into the living room for some fun on the bigger screen. This cable allowed us to avoid swapping cables behind the TV. This cable stays plugged into the Vizio so all we have to do is move the PS2 console. Boy, does this give off a sharp signal! Try playing LEGO-Star Wars saga or your favorite DVD through this connector.

ATTENTION: WHILE THE AD STATES THAT THIS IS A PLAYSTATION 3 COMPONENT + COMPOSITE A/V CABLE, IT DOES WORK WITH PLAYSTATION 2!!!

My PS2 used to be connected by the old composite cables that came with it to my 32" HDTV and the picture was horrible. The graphics of most PS2 games were dull and lack luster and the in-game text was blurry. In my personal experience it was so bad that playing old PS2 games gave me headaches. I bought this in hopes for any type of improvement and to my surprise I was astonished by how beautiful some PS2 games came out. The colors were more vibrant and the graphics were more crisp. Best of all the in-game text were absolutely clear! Now I'm able to play old games without worrying about getting headaches.

This cable works wonders and is able to bring out the PS2's full potential of displaying games in widescreen 480p and letting you enable Progressive Scan in some games.

The one feature I have not tried yet with this cable is connecting it to a PS3 since I do not currently own one.

The cable worked great with Guitar Hero World Tour. You have to remember to change the display settings in the game. Not all PS2 games can output different video formats and the built-in dvd player on the PS2 will only do 480i so just be aware of that.

basically I have a PS3 (capable of 1080p) and I have a rear projection TV that can only do 1080i....When using the HDMI cable and setting the PS3 to 1080i it would randomly glitch and cut out (this was with various brands of cables and have heard others that had same problem) bought this cable and running 1080i without problems

I needed to find a way to get my ps2 to play on my hdtv. It didn't have standard composite video so I had to try something else. I looked up component cables at the local games stores and they wanted + so I went with this online. It was cheap so I wasn't worried if it didn't work because I've heard the ports on the tv need to be pb/cb pr/cr. Supposedly ports that were just pb pr wouldn't work. Well on my Samsung T260HD they worked. The picture looks decent as well. So if anyone else needs some cables to play on their HDTV these work just fine and they are only and some change plus shipping.

I am going to take 2 stars away because I am an America player and those two stars are from the frustration and discrimination they did to us American and European players.

Minus 1 Star Discrimination of the American European DLC and forever locked it.

Minus 1 StarFor shutting down the American European servers.

I bought this game because of the discrimination of the America/European version. After that we Americans/Europeans got our servers turned off. The discrimination does not end there. Japanese players are the meanest players of them all. They are extremely racists and will not quest with anyone who does not know Japanese. This experience is the worst online experience that I have played. Now being said, the Japanese version is just like the America/European version with all the missing Avatar Knight Parts and quests. However ONLY get this game if you love playing by yourself. Or know a few American players on the Japanese servers. I also warn you that it will become frustration because of the high level enemies in the new quest. I still love the game but I hate the company and those who choose to be racist against English speaking people. That ruined the online part of the game for me.
