This is a fun game and a great value. By including two previously released games, updating the graphics, and adding additional content, this game was not only fun to play but also a terrific value.

If you have not played any of the previous Star Wars Lego games and enjoy action platformer types games this is a must buy. The action is light, fun, and addictive. There are some minor annoyances, the odd camera issue and some of the platforming aspects controls could be a hair tighter but these are generally minor annoyances.

To top it off, the game delivers goofball humor that is funny without being overly cheesy. Combine the easy to approach action with secrets and collectibles not obtained on a first play through and you have a game that actually appeals to all ages with tons of replay value.

Finally, the Star Wars license has been put to good use. Easily the best Star Wars game on any Playstation platform.

After reading several reviews, I was pretty sure I would enjoy this game. I'm glad I bought it. It's got a quick learning curve, ALL kinds of extras to discover, an enormous cast of characters, and it's one of those games that plays thru somewhat speedily and doesn't drag out. My only complaint is that the controls can be a bit hard to manage when it comes to jumping up onto things.

The levels progress rapidly, but are plentiful. After completing you can go back in "free play" mode and play the levels as any unlocked character, which you must in order to get all the goodies. I was a bit worried that after completing a level I would not want to go back, but that's not the case at all. It's enough fun that you really want to achieve the goals. The sound effects are well done, and often time hilarious. The game if full of droid sounds, ambience in the Cantina, ships racing thru space, and light sabers. Padme's death cry still cracks me up!

I would highly recommend this game. It's great fun for one or two players, and that's hard to find these days!

There will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth every time you try to get your kid away from the game. No... really. This game is like crack for kids. I somewhat regret ever having bought it, but being able to sleep in on the weekends because the kid is playing this game does have its merits. Sure, I feel somewhat like a failed parent using Darth Vader to babysit my kid on Saturday mornings, but hey... Dr. Phil hasn't called me yet.

My son is 6 years old. When I was 6, I had Pong.

The Father and Son I speak of are my own. This game was purchased originally for my grandson, but his dad loves playing it just as much as my grandson does. They sit down and take turns playing. It provides a good bonding time for them.

I bought this for my five year old son for Christmas. He played it non-stop all day today and absolutely loved it. The coop play is superb and the game is great fun for the whole family. This is the definitive version of Lego Star Wars, it has all of the content that was released with the best graphics possible. I usually play games geared toward adults like Uncharted and Orange Box, but I'm having a great time with this game too.

If you have kids and a PS3 this is a must have title. If you don't have kids and this game appeals to you in any way, then you should just give it a try, it's worth the gamble.

Best product for PS3 on-line gaming. A lot of people scoff at it's high price, but I've crunched the numbers. I've used Motorola H500 (terrible), Motorola H550 (good/ above average), & Jabra BT125 (good). Besides the Jabra and Madcatz there aren't any blue tooth headsets that are cheaper. By the time you purchase a cell headset you've already spent over $60.00, this device is designed specifically for the PS3. Works flawlessly and the volume, on/ off, mute functions are the easiest to use during game play. Highly recommend this headset, if you don't get it for on-line play I'll enjoy reaping the benefits of your poor play due to a shoddy mic. Oh, and for all the jokers saying "go to e-bay, you're getting robbed in price"...buyer beware. I've been through two fake headsets that totally bent me over due to e-bay. I had to purchase straight from the store, Amazon, or CDW.

In using the Logitech Wireless Vantage headset with my PS3 over the past 6 months I'm happy with the performance of the unit though I believe that improvements are needed with the design.

First the good; the Vantage is well built out of sturdy plastics that feel "right". I've inadvertently dropped the unit on a few occasions without any problems or damage. The ear piece is comfortable enough to use during extended periods of online gaming and offers a crisp, clear sound. The microphone though somewhat short (mine only reaches to my cheek) picks up my voice while canceling most background noise. This is the major advantage of this headset; as anyone who has played online games can attest to the annoyance of heavy breathing and constant static being transmitted over games. At least using the Vantage you won't "be that guy." Another major advantage of the unit is the 12 hour battery life. While I can't say that I've ever timed the unit to see if the claim is true. I often go several days or even a week without charging the unit with almost daily use. When the unit does need to be charged, I've found that a quick 3045 minute connection to the included charger adapter is sufficient for a full charge.

A few problems with the overall design and ergonomics of the Vantage keep me from giving it a better rating. The primary problem is with the headsets actual headband. It's made of a somewhat soft, pliable plastic but is completely unadjustable. Logitech decided to rely solely on the flexibility of the plastic band. Unfortunately that could make the unit troublesome for anyone with a smaller or larger than average head. Additionally I've found that the location of the headband coupled with the weight of ear piece can become uncomfortable. That can be somewhat offset by the fact that the headset can be quickly switched to the opposite ear. Another issue with the design of the headband is that it is very uncomfortable to use with eyeglasses due to the location of the headband. In fact, I'd strongly advise anyone who uses eyeglasses to stay away from this headset.

I've read at least one review here at Amazon that claims the Vantage interferes with the Sony SIXAXIS or Dualshock 3 controllers. I'm happy to report that I've never once experienced interference of any sort with this headset. Also, besides the first initial pairing of the headset to my PS3 I've never had to repeat the process.

As I stated previously, the Vantage is a strong performer with some aesthetic and ergonomic flaws that keep it from being great.

This was everything I wanted in the headset. It is very convenient. I don't have to deal with any wire and its adjustments are very flexible. You can put it in either ear and adjust the mic lower or higher to get it closer to your mouth. Very expensive, but its still worth it if you could afford it.

I haven't heard any lag, don't have to resync the headset everytime, good audio quality, people hear me great, easy to use, great design (you can use it on whichever ear you like. logitech always puts out the best headsets...i bet this is going to be the headset for socom...thats why its not as readily available everywhere.

I was a little discouraged when I found out it was not adjustable but it allows for different positioning on your head while rotating the mic. I find that moving the band to the top of the head much like you would see a phone service rep wear is the most comfortable. I highly recommend it and hell if you don't like it then you can always return it.

I actually enjoyed this games original take on the FPS and it's 'red dawn' like story (written by the same person who wrote red dawn, the movie) being a casual player I got most of the way through the game but got stuck near the end and couldn't finish the single player story as there are no published cheats for the game. This may be because the maker of this game went out of business.

I then switched to try multiplayer and was unable to access it at all. After checking online, it appears that there are NO servers being supported for this game any longer (I assume because the publisher of the game no longer exists). Since most people buy shooters for the multiplayer I feel VERY misled that there is no multiplayer available when the product description says there is... This game should also be cheaper since half the game is now missing.

so WARNING DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT ONLINE MULTIPLAYER THERE IS NONE ANY LONGER, JUST SINGLE PLAYER

The multiplayer is fun just not the campaign You can rank up your guns in multiplayer so that's cool the graphics are top notch good game a lot of fun

I love this game. The graphics are dated and it's a basic "Shooter" in terms of gameplay. But, the weapons are super cool and it's really fun. The story is well done and even though the campaign is short, the multiplayer component is so much fun that it makes up for that. Great game. REALLY!

The problem with "Homefront" is that it freezes A LOT! This is an inexcusable problem where consoles are concerned. They knew what the hardware would be. I'm literally insulted by the freezes.

I'm giving this game Five Stars for fun but the freeze problem makes this a "One Star" game. The developer is out of business for good reason. This is a defective product plain and simple.

I enjoyed this game and it came with a brand new code for online play. Game runs and works good.

Want Homefront PS3 Discount?

This is just a review of the single player campaign.

Homefront starts out with a fantastic, and interesting premise. The 15 or so years in the future the United States has been invaded by North Korea. It really hits home too, because in the story (again in the opening scene, no spoilers here past the first five minutes) Kim Jung Il dies and his son takes power. Which just happened in real life. So it has a very entertaining premise, which is why I bought the game. Unfortunately that's the high point of this game.

The campaign is well written, but poorly executed. The main reason this game isn't fun is because they ramped up the difficulty to cover the fact that the game is VERY short. So rather than create a normal length game, they just made you into the wimpiest feeling soldier around. Couple that with fairly obscene reload times (30 seconds or so) and it left me very frustrated. Further couple that with every enemy in the game wanting to shoot me and ignore the tanks, armor, and other 15 soldiers I'm with, and it's unreal.

In one section I had to climb onto a shipping container (that's where the game instructed me to go) and take out a guy with an RPG. The second the guy would come into view he would immediately launch an RPG directly at me and I would die. I did that part 15 times. Finally, the guy somehow was magically killed by someone else, or I probably would have done it another 15 times before blind lobbing grenades to take him out. In another section, I was walking over a bridge and I'm with tanks and dozens of other soldiers, and the enemy far off in the distance isn't aiming at the tanks with his RPGs, he's aiming at little old me. What?!?

Positives:

Great story

Great mechanics

Guns feel awesome

Negatives:

Far too easy to die

Far too many instant deaths that you can't see coming and just have to die to know how to avoid them

Extremely short campaign even with having to reload a million times because of the difficulty

The negatives overtake the positives in a big way, and just make this a frustrating experience.

My advice, don't buy this game.

Please don't pay any attention to the poorly written, negative reviews for this game! Not only is it a more accurate simulation than previous incarnations of the Tiger Woods series, the graphics are gorgeous, particularly those for Augusta National.

The game comes with 14 courses, though you do have the option of downloading other courses at very reasonable prices. Those who complain about paying $4 for a new course either have forgotten the good old days of computer golf where you had to buy a new course on floppy discs or are too young to have been around in those days.

No matter what your skill level, you can set this game up to challenge you. It's actually possible to make the course conditions so difficult that breaking par becomes next to impossible.

The 2012 edition of this franchise was everything I expected it to be, and more. I'll be having many more hours of fun and frustration -just like real golf! -playing this one.

We bought this version of the game so we could play against our son in another state. The game arrive in new condition with the packaging never having been opened. The game is fine, but the online code was used and wouldn't work preventing us from competing online. We probably won't be using this game now and it was a waste of money. Be careful when buying older versions as others could have hacked the online code.

Dont buy this game. You have to download everything and also, you have to pay for some of the things. I never got to play the masters because I needed to download something and I couldnt, and then they wanted me to pay for something I thought I had already purchased.

Im disappointed at Sony and the Game developer for this issues, basically you dont get what you think you are getting. They make you over pay and thats just not fair.

Sometimes you are wrong about something and you are sad to learn you could be so stupid. This is not one of those times. I was a little disappointed with the length of Time Crisis: Razing Storm so I bought this game to use with my MOVE Precision Shot 3 and was glad I did.

The Good:

The different motifs and varied environments keep you entertained and ready for more.

The sections take close to thirty minutes to complete. Just about the time your hand starts to hurt you have made it to the end.

The set designs are AMAZING, and get better as you progress through the game. When I played the Western themed demo I was not impressed, the further you progress the more inventive and elaborate the sets get. The Sci-Fi Robots and Zombies are very detailed and well done.

Playing through a scene again you start to see combo shots that you may have missed last time.

Small details like reflecting light from lamps and robot lights would not be possible on the Wii.

I thought Time Crisis: Razing Storm would be the better of the two Move shooters but I was wrong.

The Bad:

The gun calibration has a tendency to drift. The problem starts when you calibrate the aim. The developer only provides two shots for reference points. This leaves you retrying the calibration multiple times to have it feeling right with the gun attachment. You will also notice while playing the aiming crosshair will, like I said, drift a little to the left or right from when you calibrated. I do not know if it is from scooting around on the couch from the spot you originally calibrated. This may be a problem with the move tech, I hope not. Some light gun shooter purist will find this unacceptable and I can understand why. I love the feeling of aiming down the gun sites with no onscreen curser AREA 51/Point Blank style. When they figure out how to do it with the Playstation Move I will be overjoyed.

If you can get past not using the iron sites then this game is worth the price of admission. Light gun fanatics like me should have a blast.

...can someone tell me why the hell is the 2 player version of this game is locked!? so to be able to play 2players first you have to play the 1player version and unlock each level! its pretty sad when my nephew has to sit there and watch me play the 1player version first jus so he can play too!!! WTF are the developers thinking!? its 2011 why are game companys still making these kinds of mistakes!?

Buy The Shoot (Motion Control) Now

Just a heads up for people who want this for two player capability. You must clear a level first to make it available for two in the score mode.

Note that you also must clear a level at a high enough score to unlock the next level what this means is you need to do a lot of solo playing to unlock levels before you can enjoy any casual two player action. I would also say that by the time you clear a level you aren't exactly in the mood to repeat the level all over in two player.

So this game is not a good choice if you want to jump right in and play with a friend. (Just another example of the ridiculous mindset that refuses to let you have fun playing a game with a friend because of some arcane code of logic that makes you spend hours of grinding to earn the right to use two player.)

Otherwise its a fun shooter for playstation move, but see other comments on the calibration there is some trial and error needed to get it to aim right.

Read Best Reviews of The Shoot (Motion Control) Here

The move does one thing very well, and that is shooting games, the accuracy combined with the HD capability is giving us an arcade light gun experience at home. The Shoot plays like a classic on rails "light gun" game but sheds convention like a snake losing skin throughout the 5 episodes that dot the brightly colored cartoonish backgrounds and foregrounds. There is more to do than your average gun game as well, you are looking for poster pieces to unlock non shooter style minigames one for each scenario. You also have to focus on accurate shooting as unlocking the next movie requires a few tries in the later levels but you will master the tactics of the games RAMPAGE/SLOWMO/GROUNDBLAST doing so. Once you learn the tricks you can go for high scores on the individual chapters of each shoot, or play the challenges in co-op. Debris and set pieces will block your shot as the foreground and background and targets are all in their own space making this game highly replayable even though the targets pop up in the same places each play through and the bosses never vary their routine. This is where we get to the missing star if this game had randomized targets and didn't lose calibration sometimes when doing the slo-mo 360 spin I would go higher. As it is I was smiling all the way through the playable credits. Bring on the DLC.

Want The Shoot (Motion Control) Discount?

Don't get me wrong, this is a great game, but with some problems. The first problem is save points. I played this game about 30 minutes or so, and was taken back to the beginning after I died. I then started over, and the same thing happened. So, I invested one hour into a game, and have to start at the beginning with a scene I already saw. I finally decided to play again. I finally beat the train gang level, but was told I needed 400,000 points to open the next level. Are you kidding me? I work. I don't want to play the same level because I saw it, and want to see new stuff. Guess not. I played it a fourth time, and went to the Robot level, but was still upset with all the time I wasted trying to open new levels (the trick is to sit closer to the TV,instead of 15 feet away. LOL). This is a precision game, and is based off of multipliers. So, if you shoot 30 cardboard figures in a row, and then miss, your multiplier is now 15.

The second problem I saw was "Showtime". To activate "Showtime", you have to twirl the Move controller 360 degrees. I'm not exactly sure what that means, but moving the controller towards me and back to the screen in a full circle. The problem I found though is that if the Move controller is tilted upwards, Showtime doesn't work. The directions at the beginning of the game didn't really explain Showtime well enough, although I figured it out, and have activated it several times. The problem is that this motion feels awkward. Why couldn't I point at something on screen to activate Showtime instead of twisting my wrists?

The third and final problem I have is that you must move the Move controller to the left or right to avoid certain shots like the Quickdraw minigame or when the bad guys throw knives at you (if you don't shoot the knife). For me, this has no place in a light shooter game. Takes away from the fun factor IMO.

Overall, this is a very fun game, although very frustrating because of the save points and the movements to get special moves going. I think it would be better to press a button on the Move controller or point at an object on screen. I do believe if Sony addressees these issues, The Shoot 2 will be a hot selling game.

Love the game so far. The collector's edition is awesome. One small complaint however. I don't like how the game i s held in the art booklet. I wish they gave us a standard game case or at least one with an alternate art. I wanted to give my mom the artbook because she is a huge batman fan. Unfortunately, I like to keep my games organized on a bookshelf and not having its own case is a little annoying.

I pre-ordered the collector's edition as soon as it became available on here back in July. Batman has been my favorite hero since I was three years old and I loved Arkham Asylum. I'm already halfway through the game and can tell you it is a work of art. Although Arkham Asylum was such an amazing game, it seems as though it was just a long Demo for this game. The story is awesome and running into most of the Gotham villains in the same night is exactly how I view the Dark Knight spending his nights. It reminds me of the Hush run by Jeph Loeb & Jim Lee where Batman faces villain after villain and always finds a way to come out on top.

I must admit that I did not think it was possible to top the great game play of Batman Arkham Asylum. I figured the sequel would be equally as good, but perhaps not anything beyond what I had already experienced in Asylums game play. Well, I was wrong, and I gladly admit that. I pre-ordered the game on Amazon and it arrived on on my door step on its scheduled release date. The unboxing of the collectors edition was great. Lots of extras such as Penguin Lounge and Catwoman redeemable codes for PS3, the soundtrack download, a beautiful Batman figurine and a very nice booklet with illustrations of Batman characters. I even received an Arkham City comic book (I already had the 5 issue set so this 6th comic book was nice). If you're a Batman fan you will love it this collectors edition. As far as the game play goes, I don't want to spoil the fun but it is definitely longer gameplay than Arkham Asylum and the graphics are out of this world. Arkham City has a pretty large environment to move around in compared to Arkham Asylum. The riddles are more fun to figure out and plenty of side missions to keep the player interested in the game. I found myself switching from doing the side missions and then going back to the main story just to keep things in balance. The story line is very well written. Of course you may have seen the trailer and know The Joker is in this game, but to my surprise the game has more villains that I imagined; very awesome. You have similar gadgets as in Asylum but then get some very awesome ones in the game as well that are required to retrieve Riddler trophies (a concept from Asylum that was greatly improved) that are scattered all over the place. The good thing about this game is how you unlock character bios and artwork concepts with each trophy you find, so there is an incentive to collect them all and there is well over a hundred trophies and plenty of riddles to solve, so its no walk in the park. I am telling you, this game will keep you busy and on your toes. This game is a must for any Batman or superhero enthusiast. I know I'll be playing this game for a while. If you have not played Batman Arkham Asylum (you're depriving yourself from an awesome game) then do yourself a favor and buy the game, yes buy it because it is an awesome game, and play it through to the end. You will need to in order to understand the story line as it picks up from Asylums ending. I got the Batman Arkham City Batarang from Amazon as well. Very nice PS3 controller.

I was a huge fan of the first Batman (Arkham Asylum). I was glad when the announcement came for a Collector's Edition of the second coming came.

The Batman statue is actually well made, individually numbered and well worth the extra in my opinion. I have been using all the collectors editions statuettes for bookends for quite some time.

The Art Book is hard bound, the only draw back I have found with this edition is, the game disc snaps into the back of the art book. I would have preferred an actual game case over this but no such luck.

The downloadable content is ok, but I do not play much of anything online multiplayer so this nagates some of the Extra content included, Although the catwoman "missions" add extra value to the game.

Also just an FYI install your catwoman DLC before you start the game, you will see that it changes the intro and many other things a good degree.

The game is very well done, the fighting seems to be tighter, the graphics are still gritty gotham city. But I really appreciate the open world feel of this game. The same voices as the animated series make their triumphant return in this sequel as well, which was a welcome addition.

There are plenty of Bat gadgets and so many things to do a completionist will spend a lot of time with this game.

Over all I enjoyed the game just as much if not more than the previous and cannot wait for AA3 hopefully. What a great way to reboot the batman franchise in gaming. They pulled the AA games off flawlessly.

Want Batman: Arkham City Collector's Edition for Playstation 3 Discount?

While I enjoyed Arkham Asylum more, that doesn't mean this game isn't as fun as the first.

It keeps everything I enjoyed from the first one: fast paced fist & gadget fights, in-depth back stories of every main character you meet and the familiar artifacts of the Batman lore.

They also add some great features like multiple story arcs, more detailed detective missions and better hints to figuring out Riddler's trophies/riddles

That's right! Unlike the last game, Riddler's trophies/riddles are challenging, instead of nearly impossible to figure out without looking online.

To top off an amazing game, the Collector's Edition comes with an incredibly detailed statue and a neat little art book (which is also the game's case). It also comes with various DLC, a soundtrack and a DVD of Batman: Gotham Knight

So in other words, buy Batman: Arkham City. If you haven't played Arkham Asylum, buy that one too.

I purchased these so my father and I can play House of the Dead on the PS Move. We had House of the Dead I on the PC and always enjoying play HotD either on the PS and at arcades where you used those guns and this really recreated the look and feel of all those awesome memories that we had.

Great, sturdy, and decent feel. Though, the orange one isn't as secure when it locks in and does open at times, but for the money they are amazing. CTA appears to make decent equipment. Since the purchase of these guns I have also purchased a CTA golf club and CTA tennis racket and can't wait to see how amazing those are!

I bought this on the online store. This is one of the games I put when people come to my house, just because of the sweet 60fps graphics and the powerful 5.1 music. The actual gameplay is difficult, making it more for hardcore gamers, but it's fun to play with a friend in split-screen mode. I just wish it had 4-player split screen.

After enjoying the powerful sound and music of Wipeout HD, listening to the poor sound in Modnation Racers is just painful...

Before starting this review, I should mention that I purchased the downloadable version of this game from the PlayStation Network. I did not purchase the disc version. The version I have contains the full game (not just the demo version).

Wipeout HD is a racing game based on pure speed. It is NOT a kiddie-type racing game like Mario Kart. But it's also not nearly as serious as games like the Gran Turismo series. It's probably closer to F-Zero in terms of gameplay, but with far more events to compete in.

There are about 12 racing teams to choose from. Some of them, such as Icaras, have a very high top speed. Others like Triakis, have a sturdier exterior that allows them to sustain more damage before crashing out. Each racing team has several alternative skin ships you can unlock by accomplishing various feats in the game. Each ship handles differently, so part of the replay value involves trying all the ships so you can find what works best for you.

Here are the events you can compete in:

Single Race: True to its name, you will compete against 7 other racers to see who can cross the finish line first. How many laps you go (3-5) depends on the speed class you select. Venom is for beginners. Flash is for intermediates. Rapier is for experienced racers. Phantom is for experts.

Speed Lap: The goal of this event is to race the fastest lap possible. You get 99 laps to play with. This is a good way to practice a track many times without having to select it on the main menu.

Time Trial: Think of this as a Single Race event without any rival racers or weapons. The goal is to race 3-5 laps as fast as you can.

Detonator: Think of this as F-Zero meets Roadblasters (the old NES game). Various bombs are scattered over the track and your job is to blast them away with your cannon as the ship goes faster and faster each lap.

Eliminator: This is the demolition derby event in which you get points by destroying other ships with your weapons. The faster you can destroy rival ships, the more points you accumulate. Once you reach the target number of points, the event ends.

Zone: This is a neverending event that tests your reflexes. You will go around the same track over and over again, but every 10 seconds your ship will get a little bit faster. This leads to some really high speed classes that you cannot select in the main menu, such as Zen, Subsonic and Mach1. This event ends when your ship sustains too much damage.

Zone Battle: This event is like a combination of Zone and Eliminator. Your speed will gradually get faster, but you can increase your rate of speed significantly by running over speed pads and charging up a power meter. You can decide to use your power meter to restore ship energy and give yourself a shield, or you can use it to permanently increase your speed class and gain "zone points." Increasing your zone points will create a permanent zone barrier obstacle that can only be destroyed if another ship crashes into it (at the expense of a lot of ship energy and zone points). First one to reach the target zone point threshold wins the event.

Campaign Mode: This consists of a series of racing events on a set list of tracks. There are 16 racing campaigns, each consisting of multiple individual racing events. In order to unlock other racing events within a racing campaign, you need to place in the top 3 of a race or meet the criteria for at least the bronze medal in an adjacent event. Campaign Mode can be extended by altering the difficulty of the events (novice, skilled and elite). The tracks range from the high speed simplicity of Anulpha Pass to the twisty and technically demanding Chenghou Project.

There are several fun powerups you can use to boost your speed, attack rival ships, or increase your ship energy. These powerups can be obtained by flying over red panels on the ground. Be advised that sometimes these panels are placed right next to green speed panels, which means you sometimes have to choose whether you want a speed boost or an item. This requires the tactical use of powerups. It's clearly not a game of button mashing like other games geared for younger people.

Wipeout HD also has an online component, allowing you to race against others if you can access the internet. At the time of this writing, the online mode is a bit buggy because of recent updates that were brought about to improve compatibility between PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game. But it is playable. I will still give this game five stars because it does just about everything else flawlessly. The speeds are high, the music perfectly catches the mood, the graphics are beautiful, and the action is intense. Throw in a ton of racing events to suit all sorts of enthusiasts and you have the quintessential racing game.

I've been playing this series since it's initial release on the PS1 and Sega Saturn back in 1995 [holy crap that was 18 years ago!]. While the original Wipeout is extremely dated and more or less owned for nostalgic/collectible reasons, the sequels just kept getting better and better, for the most part.

Wipeout XL/2097 was for me, the pinacle of the series. It was the fastest racer I have ever played with the most solid soundtrack, and when you go to the Pirhana Class, it was downright ridiculous. The upgraded weapons with the ability to put a code in to change the ships to things like a shark, a bumble bee, and a pickle flying a space ship that has a minigun with endless ammo just sealed the deal.

Wipeout 3 [Wip3out]was a great sequel with updated camera positions, new game mechanics, and the overall feel of the tracks altered. The corkscrew in the mall was a very nice addition as was the weapon changes and teh ability to grapple another ship and steal its shield. The soundtrack was done by Sasha with exclusive tracks written just for the game. It featured other talent like Chemical Brothers, Propellerheads and Orbital.

Wipeout64 was more or less a spinoff of WipeoutXL. It was a really well executed effort considering the hardware they had to work with. The game itself felt like it lacked any soul even with fairly good track design and a soundtrack sporting Fluke and Propellerheads. It wasn't a bad game by any measure, but it was noticeably limited in what a cart could do versus a Cd.

Wipeout Fusion sucked. It was a futuristic racing game that had the Wipeout name slapped on it. It didn't feel like any of the previous games and it was glaringly different in almost every aspect. Screw this game.

Wipeout Pure and Wipeout Pulse were released on the PSP system of which I do not own and have never played either of them.

Wipeout HD/FURY: When this game came out I was EXTREMELY happy. I had been looking forward to this since WO3 and from what I had heard/seen about it, this was going to be a true spiritual successor. This game lived up to every bit of my expectations. The track design is solid with a learning curve hard enough for the seasoned player to become frustrated but with the drive-assist it would keep novices on track to keep going. The weapon selection is well done with more or less a collection of the previous games weapons. The addition of Racing Zone where it is just you racing in a heavily saturated cell shaded dream like zone where the object is just not to blow up. You race around the track getting faster and faster with each lap, and the 'zone' changes speed and layout colors as you progress. You have no brakes, and you get no power ups.

There are several new teams added to the mix as well as the original group giving you quite a selection to browse through. Each Team has unlockable ships after a certain amount of use. These ships have upgraded attributes like shields and better steering.

You can take a snapshot of your ship after you cross the finish line and edit the photo as well as far as color saturation, focus point, angle etc. You can use this as a background for your PS3 if you like.

The music is decent. There is a varied mix of talent on the soundtrack with people like Ed Rush & Optical, DJ Fresh, Stanton Warriors, Kraftwerk and Noisia. But now, if you wanted to, you can load your own music from your PS3 hard drive which is fantastic.

Wipeout Fury is DLC released to compliment HD. It sported new ship models, new tracks [all borrowed from the Pure and Pulse games] and new music from Noisia, Crystal Method and Two Fingers. It was more or less an entire game in itself more than it was an Add On.

This game is well worth the purchase if you are at all a fan of the series or if you just like racing games with weapons. The graphics are sharp, the game play is well tailored to fit the needs of whomever is at the controls and the replay value is high.

I actually got this as the playstation download version, so I don't have this "complete" version. But I do feel like I can say with some authority that this game sucks.

I still play Wipeout Fusion on my PS2 & it's one of my favorite games, so I thought I would love the PS3 version wrong! This game goes beyond challenging to nearly impossible. I spent a couple hours just trying to place on one of the 2 (yes, only 2) tracks you get to start with & could never get anything but last place, no matter which ship I used (even when I found the shortcuts). They also only give you the crappiest, most worthless weapons to start, so they're no help in getting ahead. While the previous Wipeout titles also started you off small & had challenges to get past, at least you could make it past a few of them before getting frustrated at hitting a wall. Now I'm sure that eventually, I could possibly get over the walls in this game, but I have no desire to play the same two tracks over & over & over again (& then some more) just to get to a 3rd track & do it all over again not when there are much better games I could be wasting my precious free time on.

For me, the worst part of having bought this game is that I downloaded it, so I can't even sell it for a few bucks (or even cents) to get some of my money back. Beyond the graphics, this game's got nothing it is literally the worst game I've ever played.

allows you to use Harmony One remote to control Blu Ray DVD watching on your Sony playstation 3!!!!!

First off if you are just looking for a basic remote to control the PS3 I would recommend getting the official Sony PS3 remote instead of this. The prices are comparable and the Sony remote wont take up a usb port on your system like this will. Also the Sony remote is much higher quality than the Blue Wave remote.

However, If you want to control your PS3 with a Logitech remote (during movie playback for example) then this is the product you need to get. Using my Harmony One I was easily able to learn the commands from this remote and had it set up to control the PS3 in no time; just plugged the dongle into a usb slot on the PS3 and it was all working perfectly.

However by using this remote/dongle combo you lose access to the four colored buttons found on most blu ray player remotes and used mostly for interactive menus/games and also you lose the ability to remotely turn on the PS3 with a remote (which is something you can do with the official Sony remote). For my purposes I've never used the four colored buttons while watching a movie so I didn't care about losing that and if I do want to watch a movie on the PS3 I have to walk over to the system to put the movie in so I don't need to remotely turn it on.

This is the least expensive way to get IR remotes working on the PS3 (such as logitech remotes). I have been using this setup for a few months and I would highly recommend this product.

I got this cuz the controller just don't fell right in bed when watching a movie. This is a good product. The range is good but the radius sucks. It works at 30 ft away but the radius for the remote is 210 degree but the box says 270 but it dosen't. Other then that I good for what I need it to do.

I have a Control4 Home Automation system, but was unable to use my PS3 with the Control4 system. This adapter allowed me plug in the USB IR Adapter and plug right in to the automation system. Now I can turn on my lights, tv, ps3 and receiver all with the touch of a button. If you are interested in finding a Control4 dealer search here:

The only reason I gave this product 2 stars instead of 1 is price. It was very difficult to learn into my Universal MX-980. I had to learn almost every command more than three times and I still don't have them all working. I can watch a blu-ray using my Universal remote as apposed to having to turn the lights on to see the Sony's bluetooth remote.

Like I said it's a good game. I actually find it really addictive. But a couple of things could be better. It seems to take a lot of bullets to kill some villains. Also you have to hold down crouch you can't just push the button and the person will stay crouched. One last thing is it is has no jump, I myself like to be able to do that. Other than it is a good game. It's like a cross between Duke Nukem and Gears of War. Plus it's a good price, you won't be disappointed. I don't play online, so if you do I couldn't tell you what that's like.

The limited edition is so much worth it than just the original version. While being a typical FPS game, bulletstorm has its own feel to it that seperates it from all other FPS games. Very fun, and quite frankly very addicting. Love it.

It's a pretty awesome game and really cool that you have to kill in different ways and not just shoot em up. If your looking for a great FPS thats truly different this game is for you. You can kick people into cacti throw them over a ledge or my favorite shoot them in the nuts then the head for a mercy kill lol. I definately recommend this game.

If you're a big fan of Initial D, and you wanna bring the fun of Arcade Stage 4 to your home, then Initial D Extreme Stage is for you!

Don't need a modded PS3 to play it; Playstation 3 games are 100% region free. Bought the Japanese version of Extreme Stage, popped it into my US PS3, played with no problem!

This game is pretty much a home adaptation of Initial D's Arcade Stage 4, complete with the Challenge Of The Streets storyline, time attack, and garage.

Unlike the arcade, you can upgrade and tune your car anytime you want, since there's no "IC card" system.

If you buy the Japanese Version, the instruction manual is 100% Japanese, but this version allows for online play via the Playstation Network. Again, doesn't matter what region you live in; works 100% fine!

There's also the Asia Version which has an English instruction manual, but -does NOT have online play-.

Pay attention to which one you buy!

(You can find the English manual online in PDF format easily by doing a Google search; I found it)

The support for steering wheels is also quite wide. On the box the game recommends the GT Force RX/GT Force Pro and the G25 wheels, but I've seen that it also works with the Driving Force GT Wheel.

You can play with the regular controller too if ya want...but if you want the more "authentic" feeling you'd go for a wheel.

The only thing that might be a problem is that the Downloadable Cars (which includes the Mazda RX8 with a few other cars) requires a Japanese PSN account, and cost about 300 yen each (which also requires buying an imported prepaid card). This bit is 100% optional though.

If you're a fan of Initial D, and loved Arcade Stage 4, then you should import this while you can, cause this title became rare-to-find when it was first released, and SEGA/Sony has no plans to port it over any time soon.

Long live the Eight-Six!

EDIT: I played this game after buying and using the Logitech Driving Force GT wheel for the Playstation 3/PC. It works with Initial D Extreme Stage! While there is force feedback, it's not as well supported as it is in Gran Turismo 5. The turning sensitivity is about the same as you get with Arcade Stage 4 (if you can use that for comparison).

Also it doesn't fully optimize all of the GT exclusive buttons (like the "Horn" button and the TCS dials) and the PS button doesn't work either.

However the game does support the wheel and the accelerator, brake, stick and pedal shifters.

If you're using the G25/G27, you'll have to either use the pedal shifters or use sequential shift mode (This game does NOT use the clutch or H-style shifting)

It's still a good cheap alternative to bringing Arcade Stage 4 experience to your home!

Reminded me of the good times I used to have playing the arcade version. It is much harder to play on the console, but fun none the less.

Love the game, just remember that this is Japanese language only. You will have to figure it out on your own or learn to read Japanese if you want to play this game. The menus are still pretty straight forward if you take the time to remember them and go through each menu and section with care if you don't know how to read the language.
