Flight sims are so few and far between these days that I was really excited to get my hands on this game. Truth be told, it's not "bad", but I was expecting a lot more. I'm a huge fan of of Sturmovik and Birds of Steel and I was expecting this game to at least be on par with those considering they are 3 and 2 years old respectively, but Damage Inc. fell short of both of those games in pretty much every way. Although the framerate is decent, the graphics are lackluster and unpolished (just a little anti-aliasing could've gone a long way). The controls are somewhat awkward and I found it frustrating that in order to change views while flying, you actually have to pause the game and select a different view from a menu versus just pushing a button mid-flight. The sound quality was decent, but the voice acting did get on my nerves, although this was also often the case with some of the missions in Sturmovik. In closing, this game is passable, but after a few hours, I turned it off and put Sturmovik back in since I consider it to be superior to this game in every way. Red Box this game if you can and if you find yourself liking it, then make the investment to buy.

i have gotten this game in mail and the gameplay is a lot of fun, especially when you unlock planes like the P-38 Lightning and the F4U Corsair. and in the game, you get unlimited ammo too. sadly, not unlimited armor though which is a bummer. but, other than that, it's pretty cool and also, this game has a mode called Reflex Mode that allows you to slow things down and get in a better shot. the questionable part though is that sometimes, the game will go haywire and either freeze up or not fully show up ( i.e. things missing in the level) and also, they do say the GD word at least once ( any Christians or Catholics will know what that means). but, overall, the game is a lot of fun.

This game does have a couple of bugs that will freeze the consol. and sometimes when your doing a recon mission you can fly threw mountains which if you like real well this might displease you. this was the only game to ever freeze my playstation.
