I admit I was a little disappointed when I received them and found out they are nothing more than stickers. But then I thought to myself, "What did I really expect for ten bucks??"
I cleaned the drums, put on the stickers and realized that these stickers are meant for Rock Band 2 drums or another console besides the Wii; because they are about 1/8" too small and leave the original grey drum skin exposed. Example: the Gene sticker has a red ring. After putting on the sticker, there is the original outer red ring, the original drum grey skin ring in the middle, and then the red ring from the sticker. I took my time and got them centered, but they look just a little off with the grey ring showing. Not that they look bad, just off. I just wish the ad was more specific as to which version they were for....
I use the rubber tipped drumsticks, so they have not taken a beating as of yet and have upheld well so far. And it's not like it costs a hundred bucks to replace them, only a mere ten.
All in all, it's a fair value for a fair price. But if you want your drumset to have a different look, or you are a fan of KISS, then they are definately worth it.

Dissappointed is the one word I have to use to describe this item. Basically it is just the faces from the solo albums. Instead of wrapper skins, they are stickers. Unfortunately, now that they are on the drums, I can't play them. I don't want to risk scarring up the boys! Being a HUGE KISS fan, I would recommend buying these skins. But, don't attach them, 'cause you'll have to buy another set.this goes great with my KISS collection. very cool item. and will show it off as much as possible thanksRead Best Reviews of KISS Drum Skins Here

I ordered these "drum skins" thinking they were similar to the muffler pads I had on my RB2 drum set for a while. When they arrived, I was more than a little surprised to discover that I had just bought STICKERS! That's exactly what these drum skins ARE, so I now presume the words "drum skin" in Rock Band speak means "stickers".Of course, normally stickers would STICK to something, but not THESE babies! I pretty much have to keep pressing them back down after every song. That's the main problem with this product: They don't do their intended job very well.
As I said, I thought I was ordering those pads that reduce the noise from the RB drum set. Not because it's too noisy, but because those pads actually protect my set from my performance! My first RB set was THE BEATLES set, which I was so happy to get. However, I DESTROYED that set within a couple of months. First, the red pad started getting dents and welts from my drumsticks, and then so did the other pads. Eventually, the red pad stopped registering hits altogether, and I had to shell out for a new RB2 drum set. Coincidentally, I discovered the noise reduction pads around the same time, which, along with the official rubber-tipped ROCK BAND drumsticks, have really kept my drum controller, pads and cymbals in good condition.
As a final thought, these stickers would be perfect for sticking on your school locker... IF you were still in school ... and it was still 1978!
