I Got this fan a few weeks ago and have been using it since i got it and have no had any issues with it but as other viewers have stated it doesn't fit all consoles with out a very minor adjustment i just used a piece of invisible gift wrap tape you won't even notice it and it will work on the 40gb model like i have. it has been keeping my ps3 much cooler i have left my ps3 on for a day in a half and it still was running at nice temps. i would deffinetly give this fan a shot it really does do a nice job and with there not being any other fans in this price range its really a great deal. i would deffinetly buy this again.

While I can't really even review the product itself as my PS3 died before I received the item (shipping was fine, nothing to do with that), I'd just like to clarify that this is for the 250/120/80/40Gb models of PS3. Doesn't really line up correctly to the 60gb model that I have. I could have sworn I followed a link to this stating it was the 60gb model, but its probably my own mistake.

The product itself seems decently constructed and should be an easy install on the appropriate model of PS3. Wish I could have given it a shot before the PS3 died but I guess I will have to wait until i have some time to fix the YLOD.

For 8 bucks shipped, can't really beat a brand new front intake fan for however long it lasts.
