The product packaging clearly states "Delivers explosive 5.1 and 7.1 digital surround sound." Problem is, TOSlink optical transport systems by design only allows for transmission of 1.5Mbits/s thereby limiting channel capability to 5.1 Core channels. Anyone care to chime in on this?
Doesn't this constitute false advertising?

Does what is needed and provides a nice length in getting from device to device.I personally didn't use with PS3, but used with my xbox 360 and PC for my Astro A50 headset.
