So alot of people are giving this game bad reviews because its a gears of war clone. Although true it is still a decent 3rd person shooter. However do not get this if you want to play online, that community is dead if ever existed. But rent this title if thought about getting it. The gameplay is solid but visuals are not. Constant pop in and out textures give this somewhat of an eyesore if youre looking for it. also the voice acting isnt that bad but isnt AAA. Overall if you are bored and looking for something to play before black ops 2 or gears of war judgement, halo 4, etc then rent this.

I purchased this item for my son who is 18+ and he loves this for his ps3 and has not had any problems or issues with it. The price was reasonable as well for this particular item. Plus, I usually wait until the price is right on this kind of stuff before I purchase it!!

I wanted Inversion to be good. We need more good 3rd person shooters. This is not one of them. This could be a great game... All you get with Inversion is repeat bosses and difficulty that will frustrate you to the brink of destroying this disk. REALLY not worth your time even if this game were free.

But for $5 dollars it was worth a shot, very repetitive and they try to tell a story, which at the end had a twist that was okay, but would I recommend, No. But not because it's bad, but you could be playing something else, but if you played everything else, are a trophy collector, or just bored then go for it.

The games is Gears man, to the fullest. The gears formula works, so the team played it safe. However they do nothing new to change the genre except gravitational shifts. It's gears with messed up gravity. So again, if you like gears and messing with gravity sounds nice with that game style, Inversion might be something you find intriguing.
