I purchased the Fragfx Shark V2013 because I use to play 1st person shooters on the computer and felt like this would be great to have. I'm mainly using this controller to play Battlefield 3 (BF3). When I initially purchased the Fragfx controller, there weren't any reviews on the gameplay for BF3 so I'm baseing this review on that particular game.
Pros:
1. The mouse movement of the crosshairs is quick and accurate. (My sensitivity settings are 100% for the game and 2 on the nunchuck)
2. It's easier to manage the recoil when shooting from the hip or aiming down scope (ADS). On the heavy machine guns the crosshairs rise quickly, slowly moving the mouse to counter the recoil keeps you on target better than a PS3 controller.
3. The ADS button is located on the nunchuck which feels great in your hand while aiming and firing with the mouse.
4. When fighting close quarters especially in the buildings on the stairwells I was able to turn around quicker than my opponent and win those shootouts that use to leave me lying dead on the stairs.
5. The PS3 buttons are located on the mouse where your thumb naturally rests so it's easy to manipulate those buttons quickly with ease.
6. The scroll button on the mouse helps you crouch down or get in the prone quickly.
Cons:
1. I didn't witness any stair casing when I moved the mouse diagonally, however there is a slight bit of lag when moving the mouse around. The screen becomes kinda hazy when you move the mouse around. It's noticeably but not a show stopper.
2. The directional buttons are sometimes accidently press without me noticing it and when I aim in for a shot, I realize that I've changed the bullet rate from automatic to single shot. In addition the same thing happens to the sensitivity button on the nunchuck, it can be accidently moved while you're manipulating the thumb stick.
3. If you like to drive tanks in BF3 forget it! I had the sensativty up to 100% in the game and maxed out on the nunchuck and the main turret moved very slow. This only affects you when you're driving the tank or sitting in the 3rd seat. It works fine when you're the gunner.
4. Don't even attempt to fly a jet or fly a helicopter with the Fragfx! Just like the tank the controls are too slow to fly, however being a gunner in the attack chopper is fine.
5. I tried following the instructions and programming the Fragfx but still haven't quite figure out what I'm doing wrong so you may have to spend some time playing around with it to tweek the buttons to your game play.
The bottom line is it's a great controller, but I feel like $99 dollars is a little too steep of a price. It gets the job done, but not by any means flawless. At this time I have not tried it with any other games besides BF3. I hope this review help some of you make a decision especially if you play BF3.

I can't use a regular ps3 controller due to past brain injuries. So I started with the frag pro, got the frag-shark, and now this upgraded frag-shark v2013.So, I've had years of experience with these; through the ups and downs. lol
This new version is by far the best. Extremely easy to use. If you see a review with complaints about the mouse, or another aspect of the controller, it's probably due to not reading instructions. Which, can be difficult to understand.
Go to the web site and watch the detailed vids if you have problems.
That's all I have to say about this. If you don't like the controller; then sorry you couldn't get the two hand separation down. It was a necessity for me and took a few hrs, but not everyone is obsessed with eye-nuero-muscle/bla bla bla recoup connections.

I have had 4 of these devices over the last year & 1/2 and decided to get the v2013 just recently thinking all the glitches would be fixed but item arrived just like one of the other ones. Some of the buttons did not work so cannot get replaced i just have to ship it back and then get refund and start over. This has been the deal for last ~2 years, I was stubborn to attain warranty through square trade on my previous one and boy do I regret that.
Pros:
Great design, amazing response and great usage, makes you play very well once you get used to it.
Cons:
Seems like they don't test the units before shipping, waste of my time to receive an item and then have to return and purchase another? I will hold off now as much as I would like the FragFX but its just not worth the irritation while playing an FPS and certain buttons don't respond etc on a brand new unit.
All in all, great unit when it works, be warned and get a 3 year accidental warranty through SquareTrade, that should help you replace / get back your device investment if it happens to go bad, and it probably will.

The Fragfx Shark is a good device, but it isn't great. The mouse and nunchuck have a premium (not cheap) feel and they function well.My issue is that no matter how much I tune the in-game sensitivity (BO2) and the dead zone on the Fragfx I can't quite get it to feel right. It doesn't feel quite as smooth as PC FPS games feel. It helps when I'm sniping and it makes Halo Jumps and Dropshots (and Halo Jumps INTO Dropshots) much, much easier.
Still, after a few days and several hours with the Fragfx I'd say I prefer the Dualshock in some ways.
UPDATE #1: Well, I gave it a few more days and I was able to do what I couldn't do at the time of the above review. I found a setting that felt right. It's a delicate balance between game sensitivity and setting the dead zone wheel on the mouse. For me I put my Black Ops 2 sensitivity on 11 (Very High) and turned the Dead Zone all the way down (off). When playing with a Dualshock I was never able to get the sensitivity above 6 without feeling that I've lost control.
Again, this makes dropshots and halo jumps and Halo-jumps-into-dropshots super easy. The first time I Halo'd into a dropshot for a kill I felt like such a boss. lol.
I have upgraded my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars. Take enough time to find your sensitivity-dead zone combination and you'll be glad you made this purchase.
UPDATE #2: Before I got my Fragfx I'd rarely get a UAV in BO2. Yes I'm that bad. lol. Now things have opened up for me and I'm getting UAV-Hunter Killer-Counter UAV cycles so much that I'm considering using higher scorestreaks. I can win a good number of gunfights now because: A) With the Fragfx I can play on 11 sensitivity which means I can turn on people like a flash, and B) 9 out of 10 people don't handle dropshots well.
The moral of this story? The Fragfx takes some adjusting to. Go into Combat Training and get accustomed to your setup. It will take longer than an hour or a day. Of course you want a fairly high in-game sensitivity and a fairly low Dead Zone on the Fragfx. Once you get used to it you may love it as much as I do.

mouse is too bulky, the OX buttons on the side is hard to press. hardly no deadzone calibration which means your mouse will get sticky in most of the games. they do have a sensitive tuning knob on it but what the heck, it does not help.So far the best product I tried is eagle eye. but i am having other issues with that too. see my review for detail.
