Sony bragged about Singstar when the the PS3 was first released and how it would include wireless microphones. Years later and they still aren't including wireless mics. I am glad to have found these. they work really well. I still don't understand why Sony didn't use the Bluetooth capability of the PS3 for these microphones instead of having a friggin dongle plugged into the front like the old guitar hero on the PS2

Wireless mics are convenient, and allow playing in a larger room, but can crackle and miss notes if you get much further than the wires allowed.

My Singstar "corded" microphones started to cut the voice and we could keep on singing by moving it around. Little by little the moving around would not work anymore and we decided to buy new microphones. I love these microphones, the sound quality is excellent and for sure we won't have any problems with bad cords.

These wireless mics are pretty cool. The sing-star game is awesome, and responds verbal commands via the microphones. They act as remotes of sorts. Def a good accessory to have for your ps3, its like having a karaoke machine, but better!

Though Rockband says it is compatible, it is not compatible with rockband1, not sure about rockband2, but works great with rockband3.
