I've applied many decals to my systems, this being the last, and I have to say its horrifying.
The material used is a very stretchable vinyl, combined with a VERY sticky contact portion, if you don't know why this is a problem, i'll explain.
The issue comes basically with human error, its really hard to get the decal set on the console perfectly the first time, to avoid bubbles, you must slowly work the material, flattening it against the console as you go, creating a seamless finish that makes the console quite pretty when finished. It looks like its supposed to be that way, a "plastic looking" finish if you will.
If you mess up however, you'll have to pull the decal back up, adjust and try again, the reason being your edge looks like this:: \ rather than like this:: | this is going to happen a lot, especially with a big floppy sticker. If you use a safer method like I do (applying the decal to the non stick board and leaving an edge over to line up better and slowly sticking while unraveling the vinyl from the non stick surface) you still may have issues and that's where this product fails... HARD.
The underside is so sticky, pulling to remove it stretches the vinyl, this causes creases, bubbles, rips, and misery. One mistake with any of the pieces will make you pull it up to reapply it and it WILL cause it to fit incorrectly afterward, or if it manages to have a small bit, it'll just rip when you try to rectify your mistake.
The only solution is to use something like Zagg Spray, a non conductive spray which will allow you to put on pieces of material like this with the ability to fine tune your look before using a wedge to finalize the look (zagg also allows the sticky bit to function properly once dried.)
It says easily removable in the description, and I received no instructions. I'd be wary unless you have the right tools.
