Just received my copy of this edition and the detail in to each little thing that comes in the package is worth it. My only grip was the key was plastic. I fell in love with the Saints while playing Saints Row 2. After beating both 2&3 I could not wait for another chapter. This game is loaded with all the things I loved from the previous games and includes an even higher level of ridiculousness that just constitutes increased fun. Everything a Saints Row game should be and so much more. It's not the prettiest but with this much Epicness the graphics can take a back seat. I ordered the Super Dangerous Wub Wub Edition and no matter the price it's worth every penny. Tons of cool customizable weapons, cars and super powers only sweetens the deal. Picked up the Super Dangerous Wub Wub Edition over the regular, but expected a little bit more from the physical extras that came with it given the price. The game is amazing, and totally worth the purchase, but I really can't say the same about paying another $40 for the deluxe package.

I have several of the Karaoke Revolution games and this one disappoints. You can not really use the game for Karaoke as when you get 3/4 of the way through the song static starts crackling through the speakers. This is a flaw in the game that Konami is aware of but there is no word from them as to when a fix will be out. The only solution to this problem is to turn the mic volume down to zero. Two mics for duet mode are also very hard to get working. You have to go muck with the audio settings on the PS3 (choose Logitech Microphone). I recommend only buying this game when they have these problems fixed. Also I assumed when I bought the game that you could put your face on you character with a PlayStation Eye, but the camera only displays what is sees in the background of the game in certain venues.Buy Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore BUNDLE Now
I wanted to try and balance out the negative reviews the PS3 version of this game has been getting. I actually think its the best version of Karaoke Revolution yet. It's like the original PS2 game with improved HD graphics, multiple play modes, online play and leaderboards, and over a hundred downloadable songs(so far). It also works with the PS Eye or the original Eyetoy(for live video to the background screens) and any standard USB microphone. I really think having downloadable songs is the best feature, because you can build up a library of your favorite songs from past versions all on one disc, and not have to drop in and out of a game. There is no difference from the one for the ps2, just the song selection. I expected it to be real different since its for the ps3. Expected too much....didnt live up to it. There is a current bevy of games with Singing or Karaoke in them. Why settle for some mediocre title as this. My fiance and I bought this to expand our Karaoke lineup, along with Rockband and some other games. We hardly touched this game. It is marred by terrible interface, small song lineup, and bad voice recognition. This makes it a lackluster title not worth the money.
