I didn't expect much from this game. The last Sonic Racing title was fairly clunky, with a frame rate that chugged regularly. The items were weird and confusing and it just didn't feel right. I find this to be true, generally, about any non-Mario karting game... But I buy most of them anyway, such as ModNation Racers (which I love despite the load times).
Reviews kept coming in for this game, though, that made me suck it up and pay the $40. I kept reading that it was the best kart racing game in years, that the frame rate was solid, that it felt right. And with some apprehension, I bought it for PS3.
It's worth the money. It is one of the best kart racing games in years, arguably ever. I don't think it knocks the best of the Mario Karts off of their pinnacle (for what it's worth, I loved Double Dash and MK Wii, but didn't care for MK7), but it's easily in the same league. Unlike Mario Kart, it has a LOT to do as well. There's plenty to unlock, the career mode is robust, the game is challenging without feeling cheap and the online functionality is solid (I had no problem finding matches). Doing well as a character unlocks "mods" that adjust the kart's stats, so there's a good amount of replayability.
The SEGA fan service is wonderful too. Ristar holds the flag starting off the race, all of the tracks feature little touches. The transforming concept is put to great use and it's far more successfully realized than Mario Kart 7 (which doesn't come close). The first time you run the After Burner track, drive off a battleship and transform into a plane while jets are dogfighting all around you... Man. It's just awesome.
I'm sure many people have mixed feelings on DLC, but I generally welcome it for kart games. If you get the Bonus pack, you'll get the Outrun track and Metal Sonic to race with, both of which are great. I'm looking forward to maybe seeing more of these, if they're cheap enough. One of the biggest downers with Mario Kart was always that they'd generally release one game per system... DLC tracks can easily make up for that lull. It'd be awesome to see some more obscure ones, maybe Wonder Boy?
All in all, this is a GREAT game and completely worth the $40.

This is not hyperbole. I have played every kart racer ever made. Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed is the best kart racer ever. This game has the best graphics, the tightest controls, and a sense of speed this genre has never seen. The transform dynamic really enhances the game-play. This game deserves a 10 out of 10.Buy Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed Bonus Edition Now
After being bored/angered to tears by the bland F1 Race Stars I was weary about trying out another kart-racing game. Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed thankfully manages to transcend the kart sub-genre and feels like a genuine racing game in its own right. The game features familiar Sonic characters as well as characters, tracks, and tunes from other famous Sega games such as Jet Set Radio, House of the Dead, Golden Axe, Crazy Taxi, Super Monkey Ball, Shinobi, and Alex Kidd. Even Wreck-It-Ralph makes an appearance. I am annoyed that Sega, once again, missed a trick by not including anything from Lava Reef Zone from Sonic & Knuckles, as it is the best Sonic tune of all. And if they were cool enough to include Golden Axe (with an awesome new remix of the Wilderness theme) then why not include Streets of Rage also (a franchise they have all but disowned)? The tracks themselves are wonderful and exciting, with lots of blue skies and sunshine as we have come to expect from Sonic games. This limited edition even features Outrun Bay, but the music is a remix of Splash Wave, instead of the much more memorable Magical Sound Shower.
After the first tournament of career mode the game becomes incredibly difficult, and is probably one of the hardest Platinum trophies out there, so I just quit before it started to drive me mad. It requires hundreds of hours of gameplay, which I am not willing to give it. There are 51 trophies in total, and I managed 21 of them, which I am happy with. It's a great game, but the sharp difficulty curve might put you off too. Another minor gripe would be the lack of clear information within the game. The instruction manual contains virtually nothing, so you've got to figure out what everything means during gameplay, which is kind of hard as it doesn't make it obvious or make much of an effort to orientate you.

To qualify I don't down any of the big name, "realistic" racing games. I go for the goofier, less realistic ones. However, I have downloaded many demos of the former. My experience so far is that most racing games SUCK with a six-axis. My take is that as games get more "realistic" (at least from a control point of view) and many of us are spending more on our gaming experience than ever before, with previously unavailable components (i.e. arcade brand/quality buttons and joystick in pro quality fight sticks), games are being tailored to those devices really as they should be. Problem is most developers aren't giving you input options that effect the play of the games. All that said, Sonic is a JOY to play with a six-axis. The graphics and levels and all that are great, but almost all games look and play great these days. But this game is an absolute joy to play and absolutely does not feel like you need racing wheel to play, which EVERY other racing game I've played does.Get it. You won't be disappointed.
Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I do want to purchase a racing wheel at some point and since the game plays so well on a six-axis I don't know if it will translate over to the wheel. If it does, it gets a 5.

Well i got this game after watching some video on it and i thought hey this looks decent. I enjoy this game alot, yes it is a kids game although younger kids would not be able to do it and they would miss alot of the humor. This game plays alot like ratchet and clank with the straffing and shooting and the rail grinding and platforming. The graphics are good and the voice acting is done well. Overall i was very surprised and happy that i purchased this game. I knocked off one star because the frame rate drops from time to time but it usually only lasts like 5 sec.

A this moment, this game is overpriced. Being positive, it's good as Little Big Planet but more expensive, why?I want a game to play with my sons (7 and 5). What I don't like is that Rango use pistols and I don't like this for my sons. I know that kids likes fighting and to compete but at least arms used in kids game could be shown as some toy like a water pistol, nerf pistol or something more innocent.
The good thing is that it's true to the movie in characters and the story line is very creative. Event with the little point of pistols, price is important. You don't receive anything new or innovation to pay more than similar games for kids. This game doesn't take to long to finish and is only a one player game. The graphics are good and it was fun.

I try to stay away from reveiwing things unless it is really worth the time. This game has gone fairly unnoticed by the gaming community however is one that is worth a look. Especially for the cheap price you can pick it up.
Last week I got it new for $15.00 and it has been a much better and enjoyable gaming experience than I was expecting. Great RPG/SPY Game and is unique in the way that I have not come across another game quite like this one. I will keep this short and sweet:
The Good:
Immersive Story
Unique Dialogue Options
Choices Effect the Gameplay Often
Freedom to Complete Missions as you see fit
Good Character Development
Good Game Length
The Bad:
Graphically Lacking (for ps3)
Combat can be annoying at times
All in all this game is brilliant in it's entirety and is really worth taking a look at. If you want something a little out of the norm give it a shot. I would give this an 8.5 out of 10 overall.

Listen chances are if you are a fan of fallout, or anything else even remotely related to bethesda, which obsidian happens to be, you've already heard about how much this game just totally reeks. But thats not entirely true, if you, much like myself, have ever enjoyed watching jason bourne complete his mission with steely resolve and sick hand to hand skills,or watching jack bauer be irrationality angry with someone for no reason only to find out he has a bomb in his possession, in which case he then beats him mercilessly, or watched james bond approach quite literally every situation, with stylish wit, and a trigger finger to match, THAN THIS GAME IS WORTH TEN DOLLARS
Seriously the crappy voice acting when you try and seduce people is worth ten dollars,
CheersUpgrading shot accuracy and so on RPG style. Unlike other shooters this one actually has a story with romance options even.

Today's Bonus:

Singularity is an excellent one-player FPS experience; unfortunately it is only about 6-7 hours long. These few hours of gameplay are extremely fun, and I plan to tackle it again as you can approach the many awesome set-pieces and enemy encounters in a myriad of ways, but you could really get away with knocking this game out twice in a single rental. Unless you are getting it out of the discount bin this is probably not worth a purchase a 6 hour campaign in a game like CoD:MW2 can be forgiven when the multiplayer is the real meat of the game, but Singularity is campaign-focused, so it is ultimately just lacking in content.
That said, Singularity does very well what most games do poorly: it steals from other great games while adding in a few ideas of its own. The Time-Manipulation Device (TMD) around which most of the game is based more or less functions like the gravity gun in Half-Life 2, but you can also use it to create time-freezing bubbles (like in Ratchet and Clank: a Crack in Time), or to 'fast-forward' or 'rewind' enemies and some items in time. You will use all of these functions to solve puzzles and kill Russian troops of the past and present as well as some interesting creatures (giant spiders that launch rockets out of their mouths? check). The 'feel' of the game is ripped straight from Bioshock, including similar colors and abandoned environments; ditto for the pickups and upgrades, though the weapons lockers and TMD stations aren't as inspired as the vending machines in Bioshock. There isn't nearly as much insane variety for your non-gun hand either. But the weapons that go boom are a heck of a lot cooler in Singularity, and the core shooting mechanics are just smoother and more satisfying. Here the game takes from Call of Duty with a nice, quick auto-aim when you go down sights. It compiles the best elements of some of the best games and puts them all together, and they, surprisingly, all blend well into what somehow ends up a moderately original experience.
The reason this all succeeds so well is because of pacing and variety. I am honestly ok with the short length of the campaign because you rarely go through the same type of gameplay twice. You will be shooting down troops in standard FPS style, sneaking by some ferocious creatures in another, battling a giant RE5 inspired boss on a collapsing train in the next, even working through a time-shifting, rocking old ship in the harbor at one very cool point. The enemies vary a lot and there is a ton of choice in weapons: pick the pair you like and you will be able to upgrade them and stick with them, or move on to something different. They are all there to be checked out of weapons lockers all along the way. Or you can focus on TMD powers and kill enemies in less bullet-oriented ways. It all comes together to form an experience that is scripted throughout, but leaves a lot of player choice as to how to make it through a well-crafted sequence.
As for the basics, the graphics are good but not top tier, and the story is entertaining but nothing to write home about. It all fits well within the game's genre and world though. There are definitely worse ways to spend money on a game, but the lack of content on the disc could be a serious issue for many out there. I am definitely satisfied with it but perhaps it would have been more successful as a digital release with a lower price tag. It is a great game, it is just hard to justify as a full MSRP title.

Let me first say that if this game had come out last month I might have overlooked it. I decided to buy it on release day because there is not much coming out this month and I need something to play. I was unsure how I would like this game because the reviews have been somewhat lower than I expected they would be. I love first person shooters, however; so I took the chance. I'm glad I did. This game is great, just not perfect. It reminds me of Timeshift/Doom3/Quake4/Wolfenstein. The controls are tight and are mapped like Call of Duty with the exception of a few new controls. The atomosphere is gloomy but well presented. I won't go into too much detail as to not ruin any suprises, but if you are looking for a good sci-fi themed shooter look no further.Buy Singularity with Bonus Exclusive Graphic Novel Now
Singularity isn't going to be setting records as a great Sci-Fi shooter but it is a game that is a lot of fun, and has moments of old school FPS that some shooter games today seem to be unable to reproduce. However does it stand strong or did the "singularity" devour the gameplay as well as time itself?Gameplay: As I mentioned earlier, Singularity has a nice old school feel to it at times. It reminded me when shooters were just simply shooters. Run through a level fighting enemies, not overloading you with graphic awe. I attempted Singularity on "HARD" and was actually a little disappointed by this. Hard really wasn't hard. It felt like "easy" w/ enemies that did ungodly amount of damage to you. It did make me use strategy though instead of hulking through areas like I have super armor or something. The gameplay mechanics are a nice blend of well polished FPS mechanics, with a very nifty time manipulation element that lets you influence certain objects in your environment(E99 infused stuff) and then pulls various mechanics from other games. The "chrono-step" is my favorite. Similar to Dead Space's objective tracking system, but this looks into the future to find out where you are going to go
Sound/Story: Very creative storyline that has multiple endings (3 to be exact). The game keeps you guessing as to who is the good guy and who is the bad guy. Hidden messages in time, mysterious warnings, the more time changes the more confusing things get. Essentially you are a US soldier sent to an Island outside of Russia to investigate a radiation burst. Next thing you know, time changed and things have gone to hell; you must embark on your quest to try and repair time. Sound is really good. The weapons sound crisp and clean, with the voice overs being decent.
** This game lacks Subtitles, which is a bit of a downer especially for the hearing-impaired or someone like me who just enjoys having em on **
Graphics/Presentation: Graphics are very good, not ground breaking or jaw-dropping but they are crisp and do a good job setting a creepy environment. I was actually more impressed with enemy animations. Very realistic. It was nice to shoot an enemy and it wasn't an insta-kill shot , you can see them on the floor trying to crawl away or get back up. I had a rare time where an enemy even faked it on me and shot me from behind.
**Presentation is where this game honestly loses a star and why I am going into a little detail with it. The game is short, but falls in line with the 'norm' these days it seems. On HARD I beat it in about 7hrs which means on Easy it probably is a 4-5hr play through. Check points save your progress but once in a while they seem spaced fairly far apart. While the puzzles and gameplay were lots of fun, the game starts to rely heavily on the same puzzle but not to the point where it makes the game annoying. As the game starts to approach the end it just feels squished together. The pacing is off and I started to find myself rushing through areas simply to get to more action --In other words the game probably could of used just a tiny bit more polishing towards the last hour of gameplay
Length/Replay: As said above, the game is about 4-5hrs on easy, 7ish on Hard. 3 different endings make for good replay value however, if you simply select "continue" after you beat the game you can literally Re-beat the game and get a different ending thus taking away the replay value of the campaign(I still will play through it again though, try to find stuff I missed) The game has Multi-player included but it really doesn't hold up well compared to other MP shooter games
Overall Score: 83%
Singularity is a fun game. Worth a $60 purchase, ehhh probably not. However $30 would be a great deal for the game. It has a very polished shooting element with a decent storyline. The game is a lot of fun and it is nice to be able to use the power of TIME itself to influence your enemies and environment. What really held this game back was a lack of polish to the pacing and constant recycling of the same puzzle element; plus a very generic, almost pointless tacked on MP(that has almost the same number of achievements/trophies than the game itself?!) Still, Singularity is definitely worth adding to your collection. It is one of those games that you can return to after a few months and have just as much fun as when you first got it
** Seeker Rifle should be mandatory for all future FPS games **
**Bonus: The included Graphic Novel. Honestly, don't pay extra just to get the novel. The novel itself is well put together and uses color images but really doesn't add much to the game. It essentially details the discovering of E99 in 1940. Really serves no purpose since the discovery of E99 isn't a shocking revelation as the game tells you this 10minutes in.

The main reason for this game to get 5 stars is that everything it does, it does great. I've played other shooters and this is one of my favorites. The story sets in Katorga 12, an island where you'll be playing in the present and past fighting soldiers and monsters, where scientifics have been messing up with E99, an element with special properties that has lead to experiments and the later fall of the island. I must say, though, that for me it's not the story what got me hooked, it's all the weapons, all the things you can do with your TMD and how well implemented all the mechanics are. All the level design, what's happening and what comes next is just very well planned and comes smoothly in a solid game.
In some games we find attempts for really bright ideas, but the implementation brings it down to a nice try. That, in my opinion, is not the case for Singularity. It is true that it uses some previous ideas, as I find it pretty similar to Bioshock at some points (like the flashback scenes, the "telekinesis" thing that we saw in Bioshock, the Pulse) but, as I said, it implements them pretty well and in creative ways. It also adds more stuff to it, as you'll have this device (the TMD) that will be able to make a lot of things like making a slow-motion-bubble where everything inside or touching it will almost not move; reverting soldiers which basically turns the soldiers into puking monsters (doesn't it sound cool?); aging or return to the past some objects & bad guys, which will be basic at some points in the game; and the ones mentioned before.
The weapons are a blast aswell, it has the standard ones like revolver, shotgun, machine gun, sniper & gatling-like gun. Along with those it hase some pretty original ones that put that cherry on top, like the Seeker. It's a powerful rifle that will get rid of the enemies in one shot, but the coolest thing is that you drive the bullet. You move it in the direction you want with the right stick from a view behind the bullet, by the time everything is slowed down and you watch the soldiers being eliminated when you hit them. So you just get cover and have some fun. The other one is the Desthex Launcher, which lets you drop a round grenade to the floor which you can control, so you don't even have to see your enemies, you just roll that metroid-like ball over the floor until you hear the soldiers scream "granada" and release the button for a sweet elimination!
The graphics are very well done. Of course it has some blurry textures here and there (which game doesn't?) but overall it has a neat look with a lot of details, in that post-apocalyptic fashion some games use nowadays. When the game looks specially good is in the rainy scenes because with the Unreal Engine they got a cool effect that looks like the water is running down from the objects, and of course, because of the light reflection the wet scenes look better than others.
Last but not least, the multiplayer is awesome!! It only has two modes, but it doesn't need more. The first one is Extermination where you have two teams, one is the soldiers and the other is the monsters. The monsters defend the current base while soldiers try to get to it. This will be harder or easier according to the team's abilities and coordination. The monsters don't have weapons but you can choose from 4 flavors, each having their special abilities: the Zek (basically melee attackers who can turn "invisible"), the Reverts (slow ones that puke and throw mines), the ticks (small bugs that can walk on walls and control humans by jumping on their faces), and the radions (big armored spiders that shoot some sort of lasers). There are also 4 types of soldiers, with different abilities: healing, teletransporting, pulsing (throwing enemies back and hurting them) and shielding. Overall it is pretty fun and entertaining, very well thought and executed. The other mode is Soldiers vs. Monsters, which I haven't played yet but I find the name pretty self-explanatory.
Oh yes, and the comic book that comes with this edition is pretty cool, good quality & drawings. haven't read it all yet but it's good.

I've read a lot about the problems this game has been having on the PS3... talks of slow-down in the game play, reviews coming mostly from Europe, particulary the UK. I'm not sure what is different here in the US, but I've had absolutely no slow-down problem of any sort. I've played it on my Standard-TV (non-HD) and my HD set, and everything is running smooth.
As far as I can tell, that's been the only thing dragging down other reviews, because this game is close to perfect. Yes, it does the lack of licencing is an issue(doesn't have all real team names, player names, etc.), but that can be easily fixed using the editing tools, or you can download optionfiles with everything fixed and updated. Just google "Pro Evo 2008 ps3 option file" and you should be able to find it along with instructions.
The soccer in this game is brilliant, and is much more realistic than FIFA!!

This game as all the Pro Evolution Soccer series, formerly known as Winning Eleven, is about enjoying the game of soccer as closely as the real game. When you score you really fight for it and it's not about doing the same play over and over to score multiple times you might try the same play and results won't be always the same.
I dodn't give the game 5 stars just because the graphics in the background specially when you score are like the original Play Station, but you can live with that when your fingers and mind are itching to play this game, because as games in the past it is adictive and when you get to score you enjoy it because it's exciting you put effort into it.
Also if you are into WE and now PES you know you don't get all licensed teams but that doesn't take anything away of the fun factor and gameplay, maybe on the over all experience.
And in case you are wondering I have played the FIFA 2008 demo sure it was impressive graphic wise, and the licensed teams but after 2 games I didn't want to know anythig else about it. In the end what are you looking for a nice game to watch or an adictive game to play? If you want licenses and stunning presentatio go with Fifa if you are craving for an addictive game then go with Pro Evolution.

I've been a PES/Winning 11 enthusiast since 1998, and this is the best iteration by far. Although the network play mode is major novelty, expect to have a poor experience when playing an opponent on the network just when you think your D cleared a ball in the goal area, the ball all of a sudden goes in the net.Read Best Reviews of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 Here
It is certainly not perfect, and my expectations were a bit higher for the PS3 version. However, I will say it is still a good game for previous Winning Eleven (now PES 08) fans. The gap between FIFA and Winning Eleven is clearly narrowing, but I still give Winning Eleven the edge for sheer gameplay. One annoying thing is that replays suffer tremendously from slowdown. If you are the type to get bothered or angered by this, then don't bother with this game. Framerate drops are barely noticeable during gameplay as to affect my review. Some things I hope Konami will update. Graphics. They are still behind EA in this department with respect to framerate and overall quality. Online connectivity. It sucks. I expect better from this console generation.First of all, I have PS3 but I bought a PS2 version of the game. The online mode is lagging so bad. the player move around without your control. also, PS3 have less Stadium then PS2. If I not remember wrong. PS3 only have 10 stadium vs PS 2 35 Stadium. PS2 get the World Tour Mode, which PS3 doesn't have. Xbox 360 and PS3 has so many bug. go Google search PES 2008 bug. you will know what I am talking about here. Very Disappointed fans of WE series.

Yesterday, when I came home from work I played this game for 5 hours. The TDU2 servers were down, so many of the challenges were unavailable. Nonetheless, I thought to myself Atari isn't ready for prime time. Next, my code for the Vantage V12 Carbon Black Edition didn't work. Well, today everything is fixed and it's a different situation. As soon as I came home from work, the code worked and online was available.
The reason I was initially dissatisfied with this game is honestly the 3 used cars that you can start with have low resolution graphics and are blocky looking. That's an undeniable fact. I drove my blocky car around, but I chose the mode where the car is invisible, so I just saw the speed/tachometer. As I started driving, the phone in my car rang, I was asked if I wanted to go to driving school. I accepted, and proceeded to take the Classic Mustang Challenge. I was so frustrated and couldn't wait to post bashing Atari. The truth is that challenge doesn't belong at the beginning of the game, and can frustrate someone beyond belief. The final challenge is to drive a classic Mustang (which fishtails, just like the real deal) around a track twice. I finally found out the trick, but I kept scoring 2:03 (maximum time is 2:00), but once I figured out the shortcut (between the 2 metal poles) everything was simple. After that, I got a haircut, checked out some houses, grew a goatee, and bought some new sneakers. It seemed a little cheesy at first, but if you enjoy Playstation Home, you'll enjoy this part of the game.
After I passed my first challenge of six races I won $50,000, and went to the Audi dealer. It's cooler than you think. You can sit in the car roll down the windows, etc. etc, just like you were buying a real car. You can customize the color, pay extra for nicer rims, etc. While I was in there, there were other online players buying cars, and the whole experience felt like I really bought an Audi. The car dealer really resembled a car dealership to a tee. And of course, true to it's name you can test drive any car before you buy it, even if you don't have any money, just like in real life. LOL
Physics: The driving physics are spot on, and can be adjusted through the options.
Environments: Ibiza, Hawaii, and off-road driving. absolutely breathtaking, and the graphics for the environments are high definition quality.
Automobiles: New automobiles at dealerships look phenomenal, and are highly detailed. Oh yeah, and make sure you get your car washed. In fact, make positively sure you get your car washed. It's not a car wash like GT5, and you'll see what a $1500 car wash looks like. A lot of pleasant surprises in this game. As I play this game longer and longer, I love it even more.
edit 2/18/11 :
so now Game Spot and IGN gave this game poor ratings. As I've stated there are parts of the game (especially tests) that could have been improved.
CHALLENGES-The trick to the challenges is to get the best car and have a lot of discovery points to upgrade to a Level 3. For instance, the Golf GTI handles horribly, but it's possible to get 2 better cars for the A7 test (keep going back to used car shop). The problem is one challenge of the six is always impossible. You can always end up with 1st place even if you come in 8th place for one challenge and 1st for all of the others. I've been on the forums and a lot of people are speaking of the problems with the challenges.
CRUISING GAME-Some people have said that this is a great "cruising" game, and I agree. It's truly relaxing to just discover 100% of the map. I started off with the A5 Audi convertible and I had a great time driving on asphalt, while driving Ryan's car offroad which is fully upgraded because of discovery points. Myself, as a big FPS fan thought that this would be a great filler game until KZ3 came out. I canceled my pre-order of KZ3 because I want to fully complete this game. It's really addictive. Currently, I'm on Level 13 and driving the McLaren from the A1 class.
GLICHES-I haven't had any glitches so far. IGN claimed that there was a glitch while they were "spectating" a race. I haven't seen any glitches yet, so that video baffles me.
This game is the type of game for the most part is non-competitive and relaxing. As Gamespot has stated in their video, there may be problems, but that doesn't make TDU2 a deal breaker. I could lower my rating, but a lower rating means many gamers would be missing out on a fun experience that they'd never have. It's okay to nitpick, but in terms of fun, this game is a must-buy.
UPDATE: Feb 20,2011. Not a good day for the servers today. I actually enjoyed myself immensely trying to explore Ibiza offline. I discovered 99% of Ibiza 2 (100% of Ibiza 1), and couldn't find the last 1% after 5 hours of zooming in the map, driving around etc. Finally, the servers were up later this afternoon and something was seriously wrong. The game was unplayable. The screens would show every other second of game-play. On top of that I couldn't sell my Audi SUV that I purchased from PSN. I was stuck with an off-road vehicle as my primary vehicle. The server issues has to be fixed. This is unacceptable. What's going on? This honestly is the most fun I've had in a while playing a video game. It's becoming harder and harder to recommend this game Atari. Please get these issues fixed.

This game definitely has its flaws. To be quick, it more suited for someone who likes GTA: San Andreas without the violence. You get to go get a haircut, try clothes, buy houses, and test drive cars. You also get to go off roading. GTA san andreas was very similar in those ways especially the huge islands. If you like the arcade style racers and the ability to just cruise, you will love this game.If you want a gran turismo 5 handling experience, don't look here. It is almost impossible to execute and fishtail, drift or just cornering is very artificial. That is the downside. Graphics are pretty good however sometimes bogs with multiple players.
I wouldn't pay over $30 for this until they fix the handling issues. If you just want to have fun then this is a great game. Just don't expect realistic handling.

Don't mind the other reviewer if you read it all he talks about is spinning out and hitting stuff... Something tells me he just flat out can't get the controls down etc. To start there is 3 modes of driving. There is a Casual mode for the Casual Racing fan, Sport mode which takes some assists off and is more challenging, and Simulation type mode which has no assists. With that being said, maybe he should try some different modes, I recommend Casual for him, I am using Sport and you do need to control your gas pedal and brake pedal, Obviously if you hit a corner at 100mph your probably not going to make it...Enough about steering...
Lets talk about game play, The game play is done well, with a generic racing event which you must compete in.
There are some interesting moments during playing, sometimes things would get goofed up etc, just little bugs.
ONE thing I did notice was a 300+mb Update when I installed this on day one of release!
Good racing game to hold you over for NFS Shift2 :P
Great Online racing also, Had alot of fun seeing others just cruising around in real time!
Garage function is neat, along with the houses you can purchase.
Offroad/Onroad Is fun!

This is an inexpensive and fun way to enhance the Tiger Woods 2013 experience!Makes the game feel even more lifelike!I got the PS3 with the move and the Tiger Woods game for my husband and he and my 22 yr old son love it. I bought this club and a longer one and they love the longer one and never use this one at all. Since this club was so inexpensive I wasn't upset, but I'd recommend just spending $20 on the longer club.

Undead Nightmare is a bargin any way you look at it. You get a lot for your money. If you want to complete everything plan on investing a solid 10 to 20 hours.
I'll try to give a quick overview that doesn't give much away.
You are once again playing as John Marston. This time you are trying to find out why zombies have taken over the west. If you want to put a time stamp on this game it takes place between John Marston reuniting with his family and the end of Red Dead Redemption.
While you take on various tasks through the storyline you find yourself rescuing town after town from zobmie hordes. This gets a little old after a while but you get different weapons from each town you save. One reason this gets old is because no town is saved forever. The zombies will attack again.
The story takes you through Texas and Mexico on your hunt to stop the hordes. Along the way you run into many of the characters from Red Dead Redemption. I can't give away the ending but but it is one of the best endings you will find in a game. It is awesome.
Beyond the story there are new things to hunt, new random events, and new weapons which will keep you busy for hours.
The only thing keeping this from being 5 stars is the fact that it gets repeative after a while. Even considering that this is a must have!

This is an amazing DLC (downloadable content). However you must beware. This same bundle is available on PSN as a bundle with Liars and Cheats,Legends and Killers, and of course, Undead Nightmare at $20.00, so be aware this has an advantage only through it being re-tradable.

I would give The Undead Nightmare DLC an easy five stars, but I'd recommend that you download this instead. The other two DLC packs just are not worth $10 a piece. I think I read somewhere that Rockstar wanted to release those two packs for free, but were contractually obligated to have them cost money as they'd already released free DLC. I think this shows as there's really not that much to do in those packs unless you really want to play RDR poker or throw a hatchet. If that's worth $20 for you, then be my guest! Otherwise Undead Nightmare is a fantastic add on. It's creepy, funny, and beautiful looking. I haven't even finished regular Red Dead Redemption story before I jumped into this. Highly recommend, but just download it off PSN instead, and if you must, buy the other two packs next time they go on sale.Read Best Reviews of Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare Here
Let's just say this DLC caught my attention right away. Blending westerns and zombies (two of my favorite types of games) seemed like such a good idea it should have been done a long time ago. While I originally felt a little disappointed it was only DLC, it turned out to feel very much like an entire game in itself. The Red Dead series is just plain fun. While Undead Nightmare is considered DLC, it does not shrink the size of the world from Red Dead Redemption. The map is huge with plenty of towns to save, citizens to save from the zombie hoards, and buildings to explore. Fast traveling between towns is a little different from Redemption, but it makes re-saving towns much less stressful. There are loads of new weapons, weapon combinations, outfits, animals, and horses to break (including the Four Horses of the Apocalypse and even a Unicorn). The only part of this game I feel leaves too many questions is the end. Don't worry, I won't say anything specific, but anyone who has gotten there should know what I mean. It's not enough to detract anything from the title, but it seems to come out of nowhere.
You can download this pack for $19.99 on PSN or I just bought a used stand-alone copy for the same price to save a few gigabytes of bandwidth. Either way, it's a great time.To be fair i've only played the game a few times so take this review in that light. I'm not sure what I was expecting but after reading so many glowing reviews I figured for 19.99 what did I have to lose. The game just seems tedious to me. Going from town to town killing zombies(ho-hum). Maybe i'm just zombied out right now. I'll give it a few more tries then update my review.

With this review I will briefly cover Max Payne 3 as a game. I will not go into too much detail, but instead cover some common issues other players have had with the game. I will also skip talking about the multiplayer since I do not play a huge amount online myself. I will try to give a bit more detail for the Special Edition content, which includes my quick video on most of the content.
The first thing worth mentioning about Max Payne 3 is the amount of detail in the environments. I say this because so many have complained about the graphics in Max Payne 3. Yet every single location you play through looks so believable, no environment looks vacant of life or detail. Just as impressive is how varied these environments are. You will play through apartment buildings, a cemetery, a prison, and so on. Sure these kinds of environments are almost common place in most action games, but in Max Payne 3 they have a level of detail that is so impressive you can't help but appreciate them more.
Now as far the character models are concerned, I will admit they are a bit disappointing. I would not say the character models look horrible or anything since they all do have good detail, but their facial expressions do leave a little to be desired. Facial animations simply don't look as detailed as other games on the market, which can be important for a game heavy on story telling. However, character animations certainly help make up for this, they are simply amazing. Every movement Max, his allies, and his enemies make look fantastic and again believable. From simple running movements, to being shot (which can look incredibly violent at times), or just a character tumbling from a platform, nothing looks terrible or even close to bad. Rockstar clearly put time into these details, almost as much, if not more than they did for the environments.
Gameplay wise, Max Payne 3 does not stray too far from the first two games in the series. As you take out enemies your bullet time meter fills up, once you have the amount you need you can trigger it to slow down time. Enemies, bullets, grenades, and other hazards are easier to avoid in bullet time, not to mention how impressive the feature still looks. Shoot dodge also returns, letting you dodge in any direction (left, right, forward, or backwards) in slow motion. This time around you do not even need to have any bullet time in your bullet time meter to use shoot dodge (although some will be consumed if you do use shoot dodge while having bullet time left).
A new feature to the Max Payne series is the ability to use cover. Some have had a real issue with this feature; arguing that it somewhat ruins the game and makes it feel like every other 3rd person perspective shooter on the market today. While I can understand these feelings, I would argue it is a matter of player preference. While there are some moments where you do not have much choice but to use cover to take enemies out from a distance, there are also plenty of opportunities to use shoot dodge and bullet time. Once you have a good feel and understanding of your environments, using shoot dodge and bullet time become your real ticket to success. This is especially true on the harder difficulties where overusing cover can lead to death quickly since you're basically stationary.
A common complaint many players seem to have with Max Payne 3 that I totally agree with is the flawed checkpoint system. Many have had issues with where checkpoints are placed during gameplay, and the lack of more of them. Like I said, I agree with this since too often during certain areas of the game you take out a large number of enemies but you don't get a checkpoint. Instead you have to push forward and encounter another group of enemies, and unfortunately if this group manages to kill you, it is back to the old checkpoint no matter how many of them you just took out. This is especially annoying later in the game when the difficultly goes up a bit. Don't get me wrong, this does not ruin the game or anything, but more checkpoints (especially between large groups of enemies) would have prevented some annoying moments during the single player experience.
Perhaps the biggest issue some players have had with Max Payne 3 is the feeling that this installment in the Max Payne series is not really a Max Payne game, that it does not resemble the first two games enough. I can somewhat understand this, since the first two games were so established in New York City. New York really had a dark and gritty feel while Max 3 has a more bright sun drenched look. It definitely can seem like a big contrast; however Brazil (where part 3 takes place) still has the gritty atmosphere of the first two games. Max also retains that dark (and amusing) inner monologue from the first two games. Basically, the elements that made Max Payne 1 and 2 (the atmosphere, the characters, the dialogue) are still present in Max Payne 3. The story may not be as well executed at times, and certain effects during cutscenes can seem overused, but overall Max Payne 3 is definitely a Max Payne game.
Now as far as the Special Edition is concerned, there are some nice items for hardcore Max Payne fans. Below is a breakdown of these items:
1. Max Payne Statue Without question many will buy this Special Edition for the Max Payne statue, and for the most part it is worth the money. The statue is huge, even taller than my Cole MacGrath statue from the Infamous 2 Hero Edition. The statue also has nice details, including a bullet wound on Max's shoulder, a bullet hole in his suit coat, shells on the floor he is standing on, and so on. All of these things are a nice touch, and it also helps that the paint job seems to be of high quality. However there is one problem. As detailed as the statue is, the face does not resemble Max's very much. Don't get me wrong it does not look terrible, but it seems to have the same problem as the Cole MacGrath statue I mentioned before. The Cole statue is also very detailed but unfortunately the face does not resemble the actual character enough. I do not know if this is a common problem with these character statues since I don't have many, but both the Max Payne and Cole MacGrathe statues share this issue. Despite this I do not want to make it seem like this is a deal breaker, it is not. The statue still looks great, has nice details, and looks even better on display.
2. Bullet Key Chain A very cool item that I think most will actually end up using. Now this in not some cheap plastic key chain, it actually feels like it could be a real hollowed out bullet (never held a real bullet myself, so can't say for sure). The bullet end can be screwed open to store small items inside like pills and such. The Max Payne 3 and Rockstar logo can be found on the bullet as well.
3. Lithograph/Art Cards The Special Edition also includes 4 art cards or lithograph prints. These in all fairness are not too special. They depict things like bullet shells, painkillers, and so on. Again not terrible but perhaps they could have chosen better art to depict, maybe actual scenes from the game.
4. Official Soundtrack Within the game case is a code to download the soundtrack. You have to go to a website for the game, enter the code, and an e-mail will be sent to you so you can make your download. The soundtrack is just over 80 minutes and is definitely worth a listen.
5. Classic Character Pack and Disorderly Conduct Weapons Pack Also within the game case is another code to download some additional characters and weapons for multilayer. If you plan on playing online, this should be worthwhile.
Max Payne 3 really is a great action game and a great game period. It is not perfect, but the good aspects without question outweigh the bad ones. The Special Edition just adds more value to an already great package. For the right price I would totally recommend the Special Edition to anyone. If you're not interested in any of the Special Edition content, then definitely get the standard edition, I doubt you will regret the experience or purchase.

What Max Payne 3 does it does well. Unfortunately it doesn't do a whole lot.PROS:
Presentation -
This is a must for any Max Payne as the first two entries in the series are loaded with great presentation. Gone is the comic book style of story telling. Instead the game will take a freeze frame of the current cut scene and move it off to one side of the screen while keeping the rolling cut scene going in the other half of the screen. Choice words from the narrative are also displayed on screen in big block letters. This provides a stylized manner of display not seen in any other game and it really works well while keeping something of a modern day comic book feel to it.
Style -
The majority of the game will take place in warm weather locations though there are some levels in the snowy city streets that previous Max Payne games are known for. But each locale brings a noir style feel to it familiar to MP and MP2. Max Payne himself is a likeable and deeply fleshed out character that is anything but cliche. He's very vulnerable, long in the tooth, has put on a few pounds and just seems tired and in need of a drink all the time. This lends to the believability considering the hell that he has gone through. Though you will mow down countless hundreds of enemies, you never feel like some cliche unstoppable warrior that's 10 feet tall and bulletproof. He doesn't make corny and cheesy one liners and instead says the kinds of things that you could really expect someone to say in a given situation. If anything some of the things he says are kind of nerdy or old fashioned which actually makes him more likeable.
Incredible animations -
Enemies walk, run and die in realistic looking ways. Some enemies will fall right over, others will clutch a spurting artery and writhe on the ground for several seconds before finally succumbing to their injuries. Max Payne is also animated well. When you kill the final enemy in a group of enemies the game will go into a slow motion mini cut scene of the kill shot which you can slow down further by holding the X button. It's very satisfying to watch your bullet travel from the barrel of your gun through the air and then explode through an enemy's face. The gore is also very realistic looking, especially on head shots, as the exit wound will actually mushroom the enemy's head outwards.
Detailed Levels -
Each level has an excellent amount of detail, whether it be a shanty town of tin roof shacks, a soccer stadium or a snowy graveyard, all of the levels look great and have a great amount of things to look at.
Music/Sound -
The sounds are great and if you have a good system the explosions and such feel right at home. The music, especially towards the end of the game, is really awesome and sets up the perfect atmosphere.
CONS:
Lack of variety -
There's nothing here that hasn't been done in other games before. In a nutshell you will be taking cover and popping out to shoot enemies until they're all gone, move forward to the next room, rinse, repeat. There are a few scenes where an NPC will drive a vehicle and you'll shoot from a moving vehicle, but that's really the only break from the standard cover-and-shoot gameplay.
Controls -
Don't get me wrong, the controls aren't horrible, but for a game where all you really do is shoot, it seems like the control scheme would have been flawless. Successfully getting behind cover can be hit or miss when you press the square button. The L2 button locks your crosshair onto an enemy but at times it will choose an enemy in the back or an enemy behind cover rather than the one that's close to you and shooting you, which allows that enemy to get some easy shots on you. And my biggest complaint of all is if an enemy bum rushes your position. This where Max Payne is supposed to enter a melee mode where he'll hit the enemy with his gun and then finish them with a point blank shot. Unfortunately I found that he would only enter the melee mode about 25% of the time, and the other 75% of the time the enemy would walk right up on me and destroy me with point blank shots while I tried to move a clunky crosshair to his position in close quarters.
Glitches -
These were few and far between but were definitely noticeable. In one particular scene, Max Payne plays a piano. In my game his arms glitched out and turned around backwards and wrapped around his body which looked ridiculous. There are also some areas where Max Payne will be talking to himself and if you run too far forward before he's finished talking, he'll start another area where he's talking to himself, and the two dialogues will overlap simultaneously.
Story -
This was a bummer, as MP and MP2 had great story lines. Don't get this confused with presentation or style, as both of those are great, but the actual story just isn't all that interesting and at times you wonder what reason Max Payne really even has to pursue the villains other than a paycheck from his employer. This pales in comparison to the reasons he had to fight in the first two games.
CONCLUSION:
Not a bad game and definitely fun to play, but started to get a little boring towards the end mostly because of the lack of variety in the things you will do. You can only take cover and pop out to kill enemies for so long before it starts to become tedious and better guns and tougher enemies do little to change that. If you were a fan of the first two games you'll probably like this one as well, just don't expect anything to blow you away about it.

Good unit. A bargain. A required accessory for anyone with an extensive/elaborate home theatre system. Good to have on hand when you run out of digital audio optical inputs on your receiver. Note: in the review section for this product, the amazon computer categorized this item as a "game", and asked me for the number of stars for "how much fun is this game?", and then for the number of stars for "how would you rate this game overall?". The system did not allow any way to proceed without assigning stars. I thus gave the "fun" category 0 stars, and the "overall" category 5 stars... the PRODUCT deserves it.

I got this to run my DirecTV, XBox and PS3 into my surround sound. It works exactly as it's supposed. The 3rd port is a little picky so you have to have the switch lined up perfectly. Contrary to what Amazon says in its product description... Toy Story Mania for PS3 is a TWO PLAYER GAME. You can also play this game with the dual shock controllers. You don't need the Motion Controllers.
As soon as I got it I raced home to play it. It's very much like playing the attraction at Disney California Adventure, but there are new scenes, and it is NOT in 3D. With PS3 having 3D capabilities you would think that they WOULD have created it with a 3D playable mode!
My favorite feature of this game is the "PARTY MODE". Once there the "Toys" decide what game comes up next in the roster and you can play all you want, switch off with other people between games, etc. The only difficulty I see here is if you want to exit Party Mode to choose another mode of game play. From what I can tell... YOU CAN'T. You need to exit out of the ENTIRE game and start over again. I suppose if you are on party mode that's what you want to stay in and do, but for casual party players like me? I want the choice to switch out of it to another mode.
All in all, though it is very fun for an evening of entertainment, and it's quite mindless, really. It IS a bit harder than the attraction in the Disney parks, though... beware of pies!

I got this game as I love the Disneyland ride and wanted something similar to it for home... I was excited to see it come out for other systems other than the Wii (since I didn't own one) and jumped on it as soon as I saw it drop in price. However, this game is about as basic (and plain) as can possibly be. There are multiple "attractions" that you can play through, each with several levels within it, however the levels are repetitive, simple, and lack creativity. And the layout of levels is aesthetic at best... it's mostly the same level over and over... and over... again. Move your cursor to aim with the left stick, hold down the right trigger button and move around as much as possible (that's it). To make the game more exciting, the developers decided that throwing pies at you and making you move the right stick to avoid them would add flair and excitement. It didn't. It was annoying if anything at all. And considering you got this to play with your kids (because it's not enough to keep an adult excited for more than a few minutes) dodging pies is useless when your kid keeps missing it and the pie covers the entire screen anyway.
My 5 year old gets bored before we finish a set of shooting galleries nearly every time. Look at the game and read the description and expect nothing more. There aren't tons of hidden secrets (a few but not a ton), lots of variety or even a moderate amount of fun. I gave the review 3 stars as its exactly what it is expected to be... I shouldn't have built it up so much in my own head... but honestly, I almost want to give it 2. But let's face it, no one reads the 2 star reviews anyway. If you buy this for really cheap, it may be worth it. i got it on a good deal so I don't feel cheated, but had I spent anything but minimum price, I would have been upset.
Overall it is what it is. Expect nothing more and you won't be disappointed. However, don't expect more than what you see either.

Bought this for my daughter to have at my mother's house. I've got to say, she enjoyed the toy story 3 game more, however that may or may not be due to the fact that she has played it more than this one. Simple enough for her (age 7), but difficult enough to keep her entertained for awhile. I should also note that amazon had by far the best price on this game, and it was delivered quicker than expected.Read Best Reviews of Toy Story Mania for PS3 Move Here
My 3 and 6 year old LOVE this game! It is nice that the 3 year old can play and not have to worry about left behind or having trouble playing. The story line is pretty dull but for young kids it is a great game. This game arrived all the way to Hawaii quicker than I had expected it to. We all love it. I highly recommend this for good family fun!
