This game will never be considered great or come close to going down as a classic, but it's fun as hell! Yes, it has its problems and seems rushed at points during the gameplay, but if you just sit back and accept it for what it is, it's quite enjoyable. It's everything that Deadpool is; crude, immature, and completely off its rocker. It's a relatively short game and suffers at times of repetitiveness, but its vulgarity and total insanity is right up my alley. Its a traditional beat 'em up, with aspects of shooters and rpg thrown in for good measure. You'll enjoy the game as long as you don't go at it with really high expectations and a desire to hold to comparison of something greater. Crash in a comfortable chair, open a cold beverage, and slash and shoot your way through it one weekend.

Dead pool could have been a really decent title with a bit more time spent in development. As it stands, the game has some fun moments, mainly in the combat, but even that is a bit flawed at times. The graphics are bland(game level), the enemies are dumb,and the game is also short. But again, there are some fun moments.

Still, if you are a huge fan of Dead pool, the game at least won't make you angry.It won't exactly blow you away, but overall an fun game.

If you go into Deadpool expecting this to be the god of war killer or the next arkham city you may be disappointed but if your looking for a silly game that pretty much parody's those I mentioned and a few others then this is the game for you. This is probably the most hilarious (and one of the few funny games) ever since Earthworm Jim on the snes. Unlike that game though I would recommend not playing this in front of your kids if you have them. The game while funny is very crude, violent, and there are sexual jokes but thats just how Deadpool is though as a character. The Voice acting in the game is amazing its probably the closet your gonna get to the real deadpool movie (Bryan reynolds is not the real deadpool more of a normal character). If you have played Uncharted the voice of Deadpool may sound familer as hes played by the same guy who voiced Nathan Drake from that game.

As for the gameplay like I said before this isn't the god of war or arkham city killer. It kinda plays like a dumbed down version of god of war with arkham style combos, however with it being dumbed down it kinda feels more like a old school beat em up (double dragon, streets of rage) with the batman dodge mechanic then anything. There are also gun fights in the game as well which feel like a typical 3rd person shooter nothing special other than the crazy one liners but it does its job. As for the length of the game it really depends on what you start on if you start on easy you will probably have the game beat in about 3-5 hours but if you play on the hardest difficulty it will probably double the length. Which I would recommend playing threw the hardest mode first unless you don't play games much as its much more fun and challenging.

Anyway this is a good game that deadpool and new deadpool fans will enjoy as long as your not expecting the Ryan Reynolds barakapool if your hard on cash or if your not sure if you want it wait tell the price comes down otherwise get the game.

so, im writing this in response to the fact that none of the 'major' sites have posted a proper review for this game. i was waiting for IGN to review it, but my impatience to get a second ps Move game did me in. luckily, i was pleased with the outcome. i fish in real life and i think that may help me like this game. That said, its actually pretty fun for a non-fisher as well. The rookie tournament, which i just finished, was easy enough to get me to want to play through it in just 2 sittings, while being tough enough that i am looking forward to the pro and legend tourneys. (which have different challenges on diff lakes, so its not that fishing just gets "harder"

the graphics and sound are very crisp. boating is fun, but in some weird way i wish there was a damage meter for your boat and a prize money aspect to the game.

The Ps move really works here. it really provided an immersion element that other fishing games needed.

my one frustration is that at times during a 'fight' with a fish, it indicates to 'roll' the controller, which i have yet to really master even after completing all 4 rookie tiers. in this i would say at times the control instructions are vague.

Other than thatthe ps move functionality gets an A for the day.

this game gets a 4 out of 5 for me due to good replay, making use of the move really well, and for the diversity of the types of fish to catch (and gear to use).

the only thing that would have brought it up to a 4.5 or higher would have been the use of monetary system for gear, and frankly, just a wee bit more excitement with the actual catching of the fish aspect. its good, but after an hour of playing im ready to set it down until next time.

This is the only game for this gen that is all about bass fishing on the ps3 so if you like fishing and have a ps3 pick this up you won't regret it. I bought this for my mom she likes it A LOT even though its day one I thought I would put up this review from what I have seen and from how much she enjoys it. She cant fish real life anymore because of certain disabilities so this is a great game for her. If you are in a condition like she is then get this if you have a ps3 because it will give you hours of fun. The game play is easy enough but can get tougher on some of the bigger fish. Its easy to catch fish all you do if flick the left stick to set the lure then its on as my mom explained it. The graphics are good for a 40$ day one new game. There are a ton of different species of fish, ton of lures and stuff to unlock like boats. You can customize your character to be a girl or guy. I would rate this a 3 from my first impression with it, however sense my mom and pops were having so much fun i gave it a 5. A serious gamer probably wouldn't like this game so if your out to play games that are perfecto don't pick this up. If your looking to fish and have fun GET IT NOW don't hesitate!

As far as modern fishing video games go, this one is probably the best around. Graphics are great and the diversity of fish is cool. I'm a catfish guy and I was really excited that it has channels, flatheads and bullhead. The game does get repetitive eventually, but I still play it months later a little bit each day.

So far I like the game...but it's not really grabbing me. The interrogations are a little frustrating, you always feel like you're missing something but you can't tell after it's over and it tells you did something wrong. Driving around the city makes you want to obey the traffic laws for once in a video game, and rewards you for doing so--but to do so means waiting at more red lights than I've ever waited for in real life. I get that they didn't have the sensors back then, but you'd think they could have faked that particular detail of the game, to make the lights short for the player. None of the action is terribly exciting. The faces look good, but seem much lower resolution running on an actual console than the trailers. Basically everything is impressive about the game, just none of it is that much fun.

The game was getting pretty fun, but at the third or fourth level, it always crashes. I have tried everything that is possible to fix it. I have restarted the console, unpluged connection to the internet, and even deleted all the saved data for this game. I have wasted hours and hours trying to fix this and i just had to give up. The gameplay was great, but unfortunatly i can't keep playing. Oh well.

First of all, I want to say that I own 4 other Dual Shock 3 controllers (Black, Blue, Silver, Red), and 2 other SixAxis controllers. The DS3 is an AMAZING product. My review is specifically for the Jungle Green Dual Shock 3 I received from Amazon. The function of the review is to hopefully warn folks about the current issue Amazon is having with the Jungle Green Controllers. There are a couple sellers, Worldwide sales, and worldwide distributors, who are selling incompatable controllers on the Amazon marketplace. I have posted detailed pictures showing the product I received from them, and the differences between it and the US version. BUYER BEWARE. Go to Game Stop, Best Buy, or another local retailer to try and find this item at normal retail price $54.99, because the items being sold by Amazon Retailers are NOT meant for sale or use in the United States.

I purchased the controller early December, and I am still working with Amazon for a fix to the issue. The seller expects me (and others who have had this issue) to send their product (that is not liscenced for use in the US...or sale for that matter) back to them at my cost. This is not acceptable, a customer shoult NEVER have to pay for the retailers mistake. I have faith in Amazon that they will rectify this issue in a satisfactory manner.

Please note: the controller is supposed to be dual tone, Green on top and Black on bottom. The controller connects via Bluetooth to the PS3, and you can connect up to 8 of them to the system. MAKE SURE YOU BUY A CONTROLLER MADE FOR USE IN THE UNITED STATES.

After 2 or 3 days of using the controller the battery is in critical condition. I charged the controller up for over an hour and it still runs out of juice in less than a couple of hours. After the 1st day "packaging smell" wore off I noticed a fetid dog smell on the front of the controller...I am disappointed with the H Eryami who delivered this. And if this situation is not corrected properly I will never purchase from them again. I recommend that you purchase dual shock 3s from Best Buy or Circuit City directly.

I did purchase this controller to my husband as a Christmas gift. I really enjoyed its color because the color was different than the ones I saw in the store, but the controller is not holding charge. even if we charge it to the full it still giving message that it is not fully charged. so it is not so much fun to use it. We do have a second one that came with the system we do not have this problem with that one and system is brand new. i could have buy a controller for way cheaper than the price I paid if I am okay with the half decent quality. this just making me sick since it looks like I did not get a good gift to my husband

I had this item for about one week. It was meant to be a cheap substitute for the DualShock3's rumble capabilities we already have 2 Sixaxis and I didn't feel like spending another $40 for 'rumble'. These are my impressions so far, and they are not likely to change because we're not likely to use it a lot in the future.

THE GOOD:

It sells for about half the price of a DualShock3.

It is a bit larger than the Sixaxis. I like this because I am a grownup and my hands are relatively large.

It rumbles and it vibrates. I can't compare the vibrations with the DualShock because I haven't tried one yet but it's quite decent.

THE BAD:

It comes with a USB dongle it is NOT a Bluetooth device. If you have a 2-USB ports PS3, you are going to use one of them for the Zero dongle and there will be only one port left for everything else. If you have two of these, then you just maxed out on USB ports and you will have to think about getting yourself a USB hub effective but not pretty.

Personally, I am not comfortable with the Xbox-like shape. Maybe it's just me. The kids don't seem to mind but, after using this for a couple of games, the rumble-less Sixaxis is now back as their number one choice of a controller.

MY RATING:

The makers of this product should have made it VERY CLEAR that this device is NOT Bluetooth-enabled. The dongle technology is probably responsible for the controller's lower price but it can cause major headaches and significant inconvenience to many PS3 owners. I am taking out 2 stars for the dongle inconvenience. I am taking another star because the lack of Bluetooth capabilities is not clearly advertised. I am adding back one star for the low price. The larger size (a plus) is counterbalanced by the odd shape (a minus). After doing the math, it turns out that the Zero gets 3 stars.

I am a big guy 6'3" @ 220lbs and the original ps3 controllers are too small for my hands and feel of cheap plastic anyway. I have been searching for a replacement controller and have found an exceptional one in Nyko's Zero. It is sturdier and larger than original and makes for more comfortable game play with my oversized mitts. It has full functionality, including tilt-axis, EXCEPT for being able to turn on PS3 remotely; I use the bluetooth bluray remote control for that problem solved :)

My one gripe being that its still not big enough :( This is definitely an adult sized controller, I just have really big hands.

Bottom line: if you have big hands that occasionally get sweaty ... this is the controller you need for PS3!

I already have two DualShock 3's; a black and a white one.

I thought that they would be enough.

I kept looking at the Nyco and thinking, meh no power on.

And yet, I decided to get it.

I believe that it was worth every cent.

Yes, the version I got HAS VIBRATION.

And with the new In-Game XMB, I can access all I need with it.

Besides, my PS3 Bluetooth DVD remote that sits on the coffee table can serve that (crucial) initial on; or I can walk (goodness :-) up to the PS3 and power up.

Truly the most important aspect of the Nyko is being a must for big, tall all whatever guys. I am 6'2" and around 200lbs.

The DualShocks (and the SixAxis before that) just don't feel as good in my hands as this one. More grippy, less slippery, easier for longer sessions. And all that translates to better gameplay; I was able to clear events that I was not able to with the DualShocks.

All I can say it, it's worth giving it a try; you may not be dissappointed; just like me. Thanks for reading.

I have to say that this is the best third party controller I have tried for my PS3. I have tried several different controllers to accommodate my big hands and fingers sliding off the analog and trigger buttons. There was just nothing out there...

One Tip: To get it to connect right away, just slap some double "A" batteries in it and setup it up from there, yes YOU WILL have major problems connecting if you try to use the included rechargeable battery before you actually charge it up which takes about 30minutes to charge. So for instant connectivity just have you some "AA" batteries handy.

Once it is connected OMG you will not be disappointed. The controller is very responsive, intuitive and is very similar to the XBOX 360 controller design. It sits very comfortable in my hands, with the concave analog stick nubs and trigger buttons that allow your thumbs and index fingers to sit right in and not slide out. This was a constant problem with Sony's OEM controller, I would be in the middle of a dogfight and with Sony's OEM controller and my digits would constantly slide off the analog and trigger buttons. This is never a problem with this new controller. Makes playing intense FPS a Breeze, this controller made me enjoy all my FPS shooters on the PS3 that much more. I own Resistance, Jericho and COD4 and both games used to frustrate me because of my big sweaty fingers constantly slipping off Sony's OEM controller. I have not had that problem once with Nyko's addition, and in turn have given my PS3 FPS game play new life. I must also state that I played a combo of Resistance and Jericho for over 6 and a half hours upon receiving the controller and not once did the controller disconnect. AT ALL.

Also the picture here is very deceiving in that the controller looks big, bulky and heavy but it actually isn't, with batteries installed it actually feels lighter than my 360 controllers.

Bottom line is this, if you are like me and have been looking for a replacement controller for your PS3 that is a LOT more comfortable, with no finger slipping. Look no further cause this is it. I will say that the $ dollar price may be a bit to pricey for some, but in my opinion it is worth every penny.

I am very happy Amazon has such a great return policy, because if they didn't this would have been a wonderful way to waste bucks. This controller feels very nice in your hands, but it just doesn't work. The control sticks are not responsive at all, and games like Call of Duty 4 are pretty much impossible to play with it. The 'X' button also works about 10% of the time. It generally took me about 10-20 presses of the button before I would actually jump. The R2 and L2 buttons are also not very good, as you have to push them ALL THE WAY DOWN before they work. This controller feels amazing in your hands, and it also looks nice, and comes with a long recharging cord, but it is a piece of junk. If you are looking for a new PS3 controller, get the DualShock 3. You can order them online now, which is an import from Japan, but works without any problems with American consoles(I own one), or just wait until you can buy them in stores. I really wish this controller worked better, because if it weren't for the control sticks, 'X' button, and trigger buttons, this controller would be pretty good.

Stranglehold

Stranglehold is a 3rd person shooter where you play a solo cop fighting against criminal armies. The play is very similar to Max Payne, but without the ability to jump. Instead, objects are moved over just by running into them. I really enjoyed this mechanic of the game. The environmental effects are excellent, as are character interactions with the environment. For example, you could jump off a wall, kick over a table for cover, grind or walk on railings, etc.

The graphics are not as good as I would expect from a Playstation 3 title. The detail does not look significantly better than the last generation consoles. Additionally, the violence level is pretty high and graphic, although not as high as a horror movie by any means.

If you enjoy good action adventure games heavy on the action side, this is definitely recommended for you. It has solid gameplay, good pacing, and is a lot of fun.

Stranglehold is a 3rd person over the top action shooter. Like most games the aim is to progress the storyline and reach the conclusion, but getting there you have to take down a lot of bad guys. That's where this gets a little different from your regular shooter. You get style points for each take down depending on what you do. You have a slo-mo button that slows the action down (aka John Woo film style) that allows you more time to take people down and get some style points. You can also use the scenary to add style. Jump across a table, run up or down a railing, dive off a crate.

All in all this is an enjoyable game. Decent graphics, gameplay and story. Game is a little short coming in at 7-8 hours though. I picked it up for $15 and was a steal.If you can pick it up for $20-25 it's worth it.

Before you read further, understand that I am a very laid back kind of person and am not an elitist when it comes to games. I've been gaming back when Atari was the thing and so I am able to forgive graphics or storyline if the game is fun to play.

This is one of those games. The storyline is straight and to the point. It's nothing new, but then again, is there anything really new? Go here and depopulate everything that moves, but it goes further in that it lets you depopulate everything that doesn't move :P (and gives you the bill at the end of the chapter my highest collateral damage has been 36.5 million going to have to go back and make sure I'm not so conservative next time around).

It is just fun to go ballistic on hordes of enemies. It is not a game where you can hang back and try to be methodical or stealthy. This game is all about kicking doors down and taking names and is much more fun when you are frantically hopping around the scenery firing exorbitant amounts of bullets while the whole world literally crashes down around you. It's also one of those games where it is fun to watch someone play so you can actually note the attention to detail that was given to this game.

Yes the graphics may be dated, but it was made in 2007, what do you expect? It's not a deal breaker. The environmental damage is persistent. If you shoot and break something it stays there, it doesn't magically disappear. Kill animations are specific to the area that the target was shot at. For instance, if you shoot them in the neck, they grab their neck and gurgle/choke blood. If they were shot in the eye, they cover their eye, etc.

It does have its flaws, just like every other game, and you can read plenty of the other reviews to see what they are.

I bought the game last year for bucks and figured I had nothing to lose. I just played through most of it today with a buddy and had to say I was decently surprised. I wasn't expecting much from the reviews I had read previously but I am glad I picked it up.

I am still catching up on a backlog of games, but I do hope other action games incorporate the level of environmental interaction that this game does.

It is a short game, we played for about 7 hours and we are one chapter away from the final. Again, not a deal breaker if you get it at a low price or just rent it.

I did not bother with the online multiplayer, I highly doubt anyone is even playing that. Besides, not sure the game mechanics would translate well into an online multiplayer.

Could have been good but it crashes too often. Also too many places where the game takes over the characters movement. Too many places where you should be able to go but can't. Too many silly characters who take too many shots before they fall. Fine if they had amour but right in the head? Too many times your feet are glued and you have to dodge bullets. Too many places where the cut scene can not be bypassed. As I type my PlayStation is frozen solid because of this game. Yes I have the update. There are other problems but I can not remember them right now.

Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition

Overall, I would recommend this to any MK fan, either those that have kept up with the series or those that haven't played it in a long time. It's a great reboot of the series, that essentially resets the story along with returning to the original gameplay (which is both good and bad). There are a few innovations that set this apart from other fighters and really moves the franchise forward.

Graphics:

The backgrounds of the game look fantastic. They are loaded with lots of interesting distractions, such as dragons attacking a city, Shao Kahn and his creepy pet cheering on your fight, flying pyroclastic debris, victims being dunked into the dead pool, etc., that really make the combat areas come to life. The levels are really thought out and highly detailed.

The characters look great too, again very detailed and move fluidly. My only complaint is maybe a couple of models look a little off. For example, Sonya and Shang Tsung actually looked more realistic in Deadly Alliance. Also, the costumes are the ones from the first three games, so they don't look as interesting as those in later games (e.g., Sub-zero "suit of armor" from DA). I understand that they needed to use the customs from the earlier time period, but still I miss the cooler costumes from Deadly Alliance and Deception.

The artwork used in the characters' ending uses a very different style from previous games (painted portraits or animated scenes [MK4]). I liked it, they look nice and it's interesting to see something different.

Because of the upgraded graphics, I should point out that the fatalities are rather realistic (more detailed than previous games). Some can be pretty disturbing (Noob Saibot's being the worst), so definitely not for the squeamish.

Story Mode:

They definitely outdid themselves on this. The story is great, it's really fun to watch and does a great job tying the first three games together. Without giving anything away, I loved how it ends, it's a nice cliff hanger for the next game (of course there will be another game!).

My only complaints: No chapter select? If you beat it, why can't you go back and just watch it like a movie? Or better yet, watch specific chapters? All you can do is play it all over again. And no way to pause the cutscenes? With life's little distractions, it's annoying missing some dialogue and having to start the scene all over again.

Music and Sound:

The music is just OK. To be fair, what they did was take the music from the first three games and did a good job of remixing it, so that's mostly what you have here. With that in mind, the music isn't as good as the later games.

The sound effects (the unsung hero) are excellent. From the freezing and burning effects of Sub-zero and Scorpion, to the metallic clashing of Cyrax and Sektor, this game has the best sound effects I've ever heard in a fighter. I guess the developers agree, because the default settings of the game have the sound effects practically drowning out the music.

Gameplay:

Overall, very fast, fluid, simplified (compared to previous games), and fun.

The multiple martial art styles from Deadly Alliance are now gone, as are the highly complex 6 and 7 button combos. Personally, I did enjoy the martial art styles, but I won't miss them. And now most of the combos are limited to 3 button combinations, and to achieve larger combos you now rely more on incorporating special moves and air juggling.

The enhanced attack system is brilliant, that adds a lot to the gameplay and I hope that remains in future games. Basically, you have a meter that allows you to perform advanced versions of your attacks that either do more damage (e.g., Scorpion throwing two spears instead of just one) or are more difficult to evade (e.g., Sub-zero having a larger ice blast).

I thought the X-ray attacks would be silly, but they turned out to be pretty cool, especially Noob's and Quan Chi's.

Also, the AI in the game is fun without being frustrating (except for Shao Khan). The difficulty is highly adjustable, and on Medium or below most of the AI opponents fight intelligently, rather than just blocking and countering everything you do with ridiculous clairvoyance. Even Goro and Kintaro are approachable, meaning that you can actually fight toe-to-toe with them, instead of just trapping them in a corner and doing the same move 30 times in a row (like how Kintaro was in MKII). Shao Khan is the exception. Even on the Beginner and Easy settings, he goes completely ballistic on you, and you are forced to just do a cheap combination of projectiles and teleporting until you finally wear him down. Fighting him is not fun whatsoever.

Also, no Motaro? No big deal, just would have been cool to fight him. I guess motion capturing a centaur was too difficult.

This game went back to the traditional 2-D plane of gameplay. I preferred 3-D, but I can see why others would prefer 2-D, so I can't really say whether this is a good thing or bad thing. Here are my pros and cons of this:

Pros: 2-D is much faster than 3-D, because it makes it more difficult to evade your opponent. Because there is less of a playing field, you spend a lot less time chasing after each other, and it's easier to trap someone in a corner.

Cons: Without the ability to move in 3-D, you no longer have throwable/interactive objects that you can get to and use. Also, having a smaller playing field doesn't allow for multi-level arenas (like those in Deception) that are really fun to explore. Finally, you no longer have interesting 3-D attacks and sidestepping, which made gameplay a lot deeper (without being too confusing). Personally, I hope they bring back 3-D gameplay, but I doubt that will happen.

Final thought: it's time to get rid of the block button. They made some small changes to the button layout for this game, but the block button is still here? Sure it's easier to do fatalities with a block button, but other fighters with fatalities didn't need this (e.g., Killer Instinct, Primal Rage). I think MK would get a lot more respect if they got rid of this button.

Online:

Very fun. They have one-on-one fighting, tag teams, and king-of-the-hill tournaments. I haven't had any lag problems and it's fairly active.

This version komes with every dlc karacter and their kostumes. But the only thing that you'll either dislike or like is that all the kharacters are unlocked which means no old school fighting reward of unlocking additional fighters. But i guess the krypt makes up up for that.

Also the game includes the game soundtrack which you kan download and a digital copy of the first MK movie.

And this version does not require a online pass to play online.

Okay, now to add to the kudos about the game... this edition made me sooooo glaaad I waited. When I saw the game advertised in an ad, and that it included Freddy Krueger, I lept for joy. I haven't been this excited to purchase a video game since "Turtles in Time" for SNES. Don't laugh, the versus mode was much better than Street Fighter.

I didn't even know there was a story mode, but I had to start with that... this is the story mode to end all fighting game story modes. You'd think this was an action adventure game instead of a fighting game. The story was well-woven, the graphics are stunningvery detailed background while still maintaining the 2-D fighting. The character updates are amazingand the reboot to classic moves makes them so much less cheesy... like Barakas slicing move. I also like that the grab and throw move isn't just a simple toss, but a mini beat down followed by a punch or kick and a heave/hurl/toss to one side of the screen.

And I won't say anything about using Freddy Krueger you have to discover for yourself!

All in all, if you liked the original Mortal Kombat, you'll love this game.

I finally adopted a next gen console when I got a PS3 for myself December 2012, this was one of the first games I bought. I have played the MK series of games since the original was released in the arcades. In my opinion this has been a great reboot of the franchise and helped clean up some of the storyline clutter that had gone on post MK3. The game play is back to more of an old school MK basics, which in my opinion is great because I never really embraced the 3d MK games. It has some stunning back grounds, a cool story mode, and of course fatalities. What more could you ask for? The online feature allows me to play with friends across the country, which is nice since I don't get to see them much. All in all, as a long time fan, I think this is the best sequel to come out since MK3 Ultimate, or maybe MK Trilogy.

As for people giving the game one star reviews for "missing" DLC let me explain how it worked for me. When I opened the package I saw two DLC vouchers, one for some music tracks and one for the original MK feature movie. The one for the feature movie expired 12/31/12 so I was out of luck there. Not really a big deal, except I thought it was a voucher for game content until I read it closer. Bottom line, this is the Komplete edition as it includes the DLC content. When you first load the game it does an update that installs the DLC automatically. All the characters and costumes are there. No need to bash the game because a bonus unrelated to the game itself is expired.

Concerning the Package

The Komplete Kollection package is perfect. Everything is on the disc with absolutely no waiting time, there are no patches/DLC to download and install. The game is just pop in and go.

The only voucher codes in the case are for the Mortal Kombat movie through PSN and a voucher to download a music album off of a online music site. There is no lame online pass code. Again everything is on the disc and ready when you are.

Unfortunately though Mortal Kombat Movie is 6.6 gb, WOW. I was slightly interested in re-watching Mortal Kombat, but I don't want to use up 6.6 gb. As I was writing this review I wanted to see what the film download included since its a very large file.(Movie is converted to HD, also an extra animated movie after credits titled Mortal Kombat: The Journey Begins) Well I ended up initiating the download by accident. I saw the usual download in background and that it would take about 100 minutes (I have comcast xfinity) I was about to cancel it but to my surprise another button appeared titled "watch while downloading" and the movie is now running. So you could just watch the movie and by the time the movie ends the download should be finished and then you can decide to keep or delete.

Concerning the Game.

I loved the story, it was very good. Definitely will replay. There is also single player ladder matches, 4 Test your... mini games. A 300 level challenge tower. Koins to spend on the krypt. Practise mode with MK mechanics tutorial and fatalities tutorial, also your standard practice arena against AI or Human. A Tag team feature which allows for 4 player couch play, YAY! Still have not checked online play.

Only two things annoyed me; you can't skip cut scenes in story mode and also the move list as no page scroll feature, you can only hold down to scroll and its doesn't even scroll fast or smoothly.

After paying the money that I have payed for this seat, I have to say that I expected more.

The seat itself is ok. I find it comfortable, it holds the wheel firmly, and you can adjust the distance of the pedals and the wheel. The integrated sound is fine as well, although to me it doesn't bring an awful lot. You could play with your earphones and you would be alright. But then, all the other components have, in a higher or lower degree, some sort of issue.

The main thing for me is the vibration. It is so disappointing that, if I had known beforehand how it was going to be, I would have not bought this seat. I decided to go for the SV seat after getting my Logitech G27 and experiencing for the first time the great immersion feeling that its force-feedback provides. I thought that extending that feeling to the seat would be the closest you can be to a real driving experience. Unfortunately, this is not the case, as when I was assembling the seat, I found out that the vibration is not syncronized to the game, but simply connected to the bass. Not only that, the seat has only one pattern of vibration. Overall, better forget about any kind of immersion into the game from this side.

Then, we can talk about the platform for the pedals. It looks very compatible with the G27, as it has the same size and the same holes that the pedals. However, if you assemble them in this way, the bar that holds the wheel falls exactly in front of the brake pedal, which means that you would be hitting the bar with your leg every time you want to press the brake. Fortunately, there is one additional hole in the platform, a little out of the center, and you can screw the pedals there in a way that the bar falls between the brake and the clutch and it doesn't bother. However, by doing so, you assemble the pedals with just one bolt, so you have to keep it tight to prevent them from moving when playing.

And finally, another big issue is the "compatible" gearshift holder. My God, I can't believe that the seat and the gearshift are made by the same company! It is a complete disaster! You have to unscrew one bolt of the seat to stick the gearshift and then screw it back, but it becomes so unaccessible once you have put the gearshift that screwing it back took me hours, trying to setup adaptors from my home tools to my Allen to reach it. Not only that, once I finished with this piece, I proceeded to insert what would be the actual support of the gear, only to find out that the subwoofer under the sit acts as a barrier and does not allow it to go to the end, what means that I can't reach the gears keeping my back in the seat!

After all, I kind of sorted the issues (except the vibration; there is nothing to do there) and I am having good fun, but the bottom line is that the extra money I paid for this seat, compared with the other standard ones in the market without sound or vibration, is not worth at all.

I was looking at this seat asking myself are the built in speakers worth it? I mean, I have a fantastic Denon/Polk sound system already. But what I was really interested in was a self contained system that could be placed anywhere without depending on a separate sound system. I first connected it to my home theater system, using my 55" TV as the monitor. This bypassed the seat's sound system, so I could make an honest comparison with the seat's self contained sound versus home theater sound. After hearing the two setups, I preferred the Playseat SV sound experience to the HT setup. It definitely was more immersive, as advertised. Close proximity to the speakers allows you to experience all the subtle sounds along with well, more immersion.

I like the wheel platform coming from the chair the SV model uses I had no obstacle problem of moving my foot from accelerator to brake some have complained about when the platform is attached from the pedal side of the Playseat. The chair is comfortable, but I would appreciate building this chair with thicker foam, or even memory foam (why not, the chair is top class priced).

The tubular steel supports fit together easily, and the locking mechanism holding the paired tubes together is effective. The tolerances are not exactly tight though, and I am considering tightening them slightly using the material half of Velcro. The spec for weight tolerance in this seat is another selling point (300 lbs max).

If you really want another notch of game immersion, I recommend pairing this with the Playseat Pro Kit TV stand with its own monitor. It really puts that cockpit feel right into the game. This also allows you to place it anywhere you would like, as long as an electrical outlet is nearby.

The Playseat SV has given me a top rate simulator gaming experience. I was willing to pay the additional money for it, and I am glad I did.

The gear shift mount does not work with this model without modifications(metal work). You would think that the manufacturer might test this out, but nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Because the subwoofer is mounted under the seat the metal plate that attaches to the seat does not fit. Ok, so i fixed that only to find out that you can not adjust the position of the gearshift because it hits the subwoofer. The seat is great, but after paying good money for a product I do not want to waste my time fixing it so it works properly.

The quality of construction and the materials used are up to the task of family fun. This is a solid seat with a solid deck for both the wheel and the foot pedals. It adjusts very easily, however, the cables and the chase for the cables may leave you with less adjustments than the seat itself allows. The sound quality is better than I expected but the vibration is pointless (it does not sync with the action, only the bass). The sound coming from the headrest offers excellent stereo separation and the sub will emphasize the deep game sounds very well. I have a second seat without sound, I had to install a set of PC speakers to duplicate the fun that the SV seat offers. I recommend the Playseat, I recommend the Playseat SV if you want to enjoy an immersion experience without a home theater. (I use mine with the home theater on too)

There has been a couple of games that tried to incorporate rap-hiphop into their games. There was even a rap Karaoke game. Well, I am glad to say they finally did it right!

Basically, this is a Singstar/Lips (or whatever karaoke game you play) that focuses mainly on the "Rap" Genre. This includes a whole array of music, that spans generations, regions, and styles. Basically there is something for everyone here if you are a fan of "Rap". The system actually works, and it actually works VERY well. It not only matches your timing (whether or not you say the lyrics at the right time) but it actually checks to see if you say the right lyrics. Not only that, it sees if your pitch matches that of the singer (assuming there is singing in the song).

In all, the game works pretty well!

Better than you would imagine. But if you don't know the words to the song, you probably aren't going to pass the song.

The Career Mode is slightly fun, but extremely short.

Party Mode jumps you right into the action

Freestyle mode allows you and your friends to JUST HAVE FUN!

Song List:

The song is is diverse, but is mainly the top songs over a 20 year period. So some of which you will know and love! Some of which you "know" but aren't 100% sure of what the words are. The song list is pretty solid, and the DLC is pretty great. To top it off, every song comes with its own music video, so the song feels complete. Granted, every song is the Tv release of the song (at the time), so every song is censored for MTV audiences.

PROS::

This game is tons of fun if you don't mind doing Hip-Hop/Rap karaoke. If you are into this sort of music, then this game is right up your alley. The DLC is good, and allows you to pick songs that YOU know and love. This includes older and newer music.

CONS::

Although the game works, some modes could be improved. There should just be a mode that allows you to put the songs on random, and just watch the videos. Also, you should be more customization options. Career mode, just feels like something to make the game feel more complete, but definitely lacking. Also, the online experience could be improved greatly. Although this game works well, it feels like there are lots of little aspects that could be improved.

CONCLUSION::

If you've always loved rap and hip-hop, You will love this game. Not only is it well done, but it i definitely loads of fun for the friends and family who love the genre.

I own two PS3 vertical stands. One is the official Sony stand which, despite being made of plastic, is 20 bucks. The second one I own is this stand. It is virtually a carbon copy and only clocks in at about 7 bucks. Cosmetically you can't tell the difference once the system has been placed atop it. The only differences I could find are two. First, the base says PS3 but the has been flipped. Since this will face the surface you're setting the product on, who cares. Second, it's got a different locking mechanism. This is where the official Sony stand kicks butt. The real deal won't come off. You can pick up your system and the stand will come with you. This copied version, not so much. If you pick up your system it will more than likely leave the vertical stand behind. It does do a great job, though, keeping your unit in place. You can try to shake the thing back and forth and it won't let go of your slim. Joy! Long story short, if you don't plan on picking up your PS3 on a regular basis (and it's probably better for your system if you do not, anyway), this purchase is a great alternative to Sony's overpriced version.

This gives you a bit more protection from your PS3 Slim falling over, however you could still easily knock it over even with this attached. For the price and for the added stability its worth it, however don't expect it to protect it from falling over with anything more than a slight bump.

This is a great, simple little base that let's the PS3 stand up on its side, giving you a lot more shelf space, and making the PS3 look cooler to boot. When the PS3 is set up, it doesn't wobble or shake, but the base is still not very wide, so if it is in a high-traffic area or you have kids, it might be prone to tipping. But it you have this on a shelf or a TV cabinet, it should be perfectly fine.
