This is a really good deal. The new PS3 is great, it is so small. I purchased this bundle to replace my 60gb PS3 that recently failed on me. This new console is quiet, small and works just like any other playstation. There are no new features so I don't see a need to upgrade your old PS3 but if you are in the market for a new PS3 it is great.

Assassin's Creed 3 is amazing, I have played it for a few hours now and all I can say is wow. This game really is deserving of the 3 moniker. Brotherhood and Revelations felt like expansion packs for AC2, but this game is the true evolution of the series.

I chose this bundle since I needed a new Playstation and I was planning on getting AC3 and I saved $10 off the price of AC3 this way and I managed to get a larger Hard Drive as well. The 500gb should be great, my 60gb was full and I had to constantly delete and re-download some of my games to manage space.

As a long time Xbox 360 owner I decided to sell my old system and move onto the PS3. My logic was that I was going to buy the Assasin's Creed game anyways and selling my Xbox and all the old games I don't play practically paid for this bundle.

The system: A far more attractive black box than my roommate's original PS3, it looks aestheically pleasing and sharp sitting on my TV cabinet. The PS3 is very quiet (especially compared to the leafblower fan in my original 360). It comes with a wireless Duelshock 3 controller and a controller charging cable. The cable is very short and likely impractical for gaming while charging. The good news is once charged these controllers have FANTASTIC battery life. I thought I would have a hard time adjusting to the PS3's smaller controller from the Xbox 360, not the case. The controller is very comfortable and in my opionion looks better than the Xbox ones. Sticking with the theme of short cables, the power cable from the PS3 to the wall was also pretty short and barely reached the outlet. Not a huge deal but could be improved by Sony. The system comes with standard definition cables only, another cost cutting method no doubt. Luckily I had an extra HDMI cable and you'll want to make sure you have one if you have an HD TV (please don't buy one for $50+ at a retail store, get them online or ask your cable guy if he has an extra in his truck next time). These new PS3 systems have a plastic cover on top that acts as a sliding cover for the disk tray. This fixes the problem of disks being unremovable if the system has a technical problem. The cover feels and looks kind of cheap, but from a distance it doesn't really take anything away from the sharp looks of this system. The system is packed with a 500gb hard drive, which is just massive for a console. My Xbox was the 20gb original so I feel like I have limitless space for games and demos. I do find it odd that games need to be installed, but it's a minor gripe.

The game: I've only watched my roommate's play the other Assasin's Creed games, so this is my first go playing one. I'm having a hard time putting it down. The story is more engaging than the others, combat improved, and the graphics are very sharp. This is a great game that will keep you busy for a long time. If you're buying the bundle you probably know plenty about this game already so I won't go into detail.

Extras: This bundle comes with a 30 day trial to Playstation Plus, a premium online service. You'll need a credit card to use the trial and be wary of it auto-renewing once it's up. PS+ lets you download full versions of certain games as time trials, get automatic updates(not sure why this feature is "premium"), and certain other exclusives. I don't see myself using it as ditching the Xbox live fees was one of my motivations for switching.

Overall: If you're an Assasin's Creed fan and needed an excuse to finally buy a PS3, this is it. The bundle is a great value for the money. While not perfect, I do like this system more than my Xbox and the game it comes with is one of the best this year.

Buy PS3 500 GB Assassin's Creed III Bundle Now

I've been an Amazon.com shopper for well over 4 years now, and I follow the Warehouse Deals section constantly, looking for the best value.

This package supercedes ANY deal I have ever seen for a PS3.

I've seen last years Black Friday deal for a PS3 bundle with less memory, minus the Playstation Plus trial, for $350+. I've also seen a 160 GB offered for the same price as this bundle.

You get everything in the Assassin's Creed 3 bundle that you need to play right out of the box, PLUS a 1 month Playstation Plus membership (which, in this owner's opinion, if you're a gamer at all, is a must-purchase for a year ($50). Just since March, I've gotten TEN retail games for free, $600 would have been the retail cost, even at $20 a piece that's $120. That's not to mention the various discounts and FULL game trials you receive as well, along with early access to demo's, and much more.

One note about this PS3 vs. the other models. The "tray" to insert your game/DVD is now on the top. No more sticking it in and ejecting it. If you've got nosy/playful children, they might get a little *too* playful and wreck this newer system. So take that into consideration when deciding whether to go with the 2nd model or this one.

Of course, this system also comes with Assassin's Creed III, which is a triumph in gaming. To be able to go back to an "alternative universe" with the American Revolution, but keeping the heart of AC beating, for 20-40 hours of gameplay (at least) along with post-DLC support is well worth the investment. And, if you're not an AC fan, just list it for $40 brand new and people will beat down your door to buy it!

Bottom line: If you've had your PS3 for a long time, or have one of the older models (ESPECIALLY the fat one, unless you have it to be able to play PS2 games ;), don't even hesitate. Unless this bundle is priced at $199 on Black Friday, there isn't a better PS3 deal around.

Sony did exactly what should be done to update a product, they looked at the biggest issues 1.) The previous console had a tendency to overheat and 2.) If id did overheat, it was impossible to get your game out before sending it in for repair. To counter these problems they 1.) Made a lighter, smaller, more efficient system and 2.) Made a spring operated release for the disc drive. After the obvious fixes, they outfitted it with a massive hard drive (500 GB) and bundled it with one of the most anticipated games of the year. All this for a reasonable price tag of $299.99. What more could you ask for? The console is amazing, much better (in my opinion) than the slim. It runs AC3 flawlessly and is whisper quiet. I would highly recommend this bundle as a first time buy or an upgrade. It is without a doubt worth every penny.

Pros: Virtually everything. Nice design, huge hard drive, new disc drive, smaller, quieter, ect.

Cons: Still comes with ONLY the composite video/audio cable, no HDMI.

Want PS3 500 GB Assassin's Creed III Bundle Discount?

This was well worth the money spent.

I spent about $250 for a 120gb PS3 "slim" when it originally came out, but man....This is an amazing deal. An extra 380gb of memory plus a free game for just an extra $50 compared to the original sales price when the "slim" model came in 2010.

It was wonderful when it arrived. It actually came a day earlier than it's supposed to. In fact, it actually came about 24 hours earlier than it should have. The box was nice and secured, they left it at the front office, since I was not at home at the time, and picked it up.

I opened the box, and the box looks just as it was in the picture, amazing. It came with the 30-day free-trial of PSN+, however I did not like that they asked for credit card information to activate it. The Ps3 "slim" was impressive. I compared it to my old one, and wow! It was so small compared to it. I was thinking, whilst looking at the new Ps3 "Wow, now THIS is a Ps3 slim!". I hooked up all the wires, and had it working. The new disc slot is cool, press a button and it actually slides open, my only gripe is that it basically is just manually shut. Other than that, the system runs perfectly fine. It's incredibly quiet compared to my old Ps3, and just more aesthetically pleasing.

All in all, I recommend this product for buy as a replacement, or a gift for the holidays. I mean, think of it. It's around $250 for 120gb, about $279 for a 180gb, $299 for a 320gb, but come on! for the same price of a 320gb Ps3 you could get an extra 180gb and a free game! So buy it now.

As of September 2011, the game is fully playable and patched. I have played the main campaign twice and completed most of the side quests while exploring the entire map. Allow me to say that during the 60+ hours, the game never froze. There was one issue when I got stuck in a window and could not move, but apart from that I have not experienced a single glitch whatsoever.

The game is definitely worth buying at this point. The map is huge, the weapon selection is considerably larger than Fallout 3, the characters have great voice actors, and the side quests are filled with solid detail. Whatever bugs may have plagued the game when it launched are totally gone and what's left is a gaming experience I give my full faith to. I encourage and ensure you that this game is worth the money now.

The intricate storyline, interesting quests, and endearing side-kicks (Lily the grandmother super mutant is, quite possibly one of the best characters I've ever encountered in a video game, despite her limited role and interactions...) are not enough to save this pitiful excuse for a game. For the life of me I do not understand how game companies can release games in these states, without ANY repercussions. 40 hours into the game, I couldn't exit a casino, and had to replay 13 hours (good thing I had the save filesit could have been worse). The games locks CONSTANTLY, requiring hard resents. Certain key areas I can't even enter because of the locking.

We aren't talking a few annoying graphics glitches here we are talking game ***unplayability***

I'm running a new 120Gb PS3 Slim with only a few other saved game files from Dragon's Age and Fallout 3.

A look on the Bethesda forums reveals innumerable gamers with the exact same (as well as many many more) complaints.

Before you buy this game I suggest reading the Bethesda Forums to get an idea what state the game is in.

And they have the gall to announce new DLC while the game is not fixed.

What other industry would be allowed to charge consumers for a product that doesn't work? It just boggles the mind.

Buy Fallout: New Vegas Now

Well, I loved Fallout 3 on the PS3 so much I preordered New Vegas. But I would advise people not to buy it, at least until after the price drops to $29 or so. Now that I think of it, I bought Fallout 3 when it had dropped to $29 so it had massive patches by then. There is absolutely no excuse for selling an unfinished game like this at $60. This is a slap in the face and an insult to game buying consumers. Obviously Obsidian and Bethesda are kicking back laughing their way to the bank at how gullible gamers are and intend to keep pushing the envelope of just how unfinished and defective of a product people will buy. As long as people keep buying garbage like this, they will keep pushing out even more unfinished games, these are big, greedy corporations after all.

Good: pretty much just like Fallout 3

Bad: too much like Fallout 3 right down to the same textures and colored building interiors, same npc baddies, etc.

A lot of worthless items to get and hold onto in order to craft relatively low value items from them. Adds more RPG aspect I guess but its pretty useless if you ask me.

Lots and lots of bugs and glitches. Lots of characters stuck halfway in the ground and walls. Lots of characters just getting stuck walking up against stuff and never moving away. Lots of black holes where suddenly everything is black until you get passed the area. Lots of invisible barriers in weird places to keep you from going past. Lots of game freezes. Lots of auto saves being corrupt. Lots of other glitches as well.

My suggestion to Obsidian and Bethesda: try a beta release or two or three and then, after you get a completely functioning game sell it. I feel like I should be paid as a debugger for having even tried out this refried potato.

Consensus: It smells like yesterdays lunch with Garlic added. Unfortunately the microwave is on the fritz so you best wait til they at least heat it up for you.

BROKEN! You're better off playing Fallout 3 again. The same issues that plagued Fallout 3 only worse.

Want Fallout: New Vegas Discount?

This is a great game. It's fun, innovative, improves upon many things from Fallout 3, I couldn't ask for anything more.

Except for it to work.

I've had it crash numerous times. Sometimes little crashes where I just need to restart my PS3. Sometimes larger crashes where the power button won't turn the machine off, so I need to switch it off from the back. And then when it goes back on, it won't recognize the disc until I remove the disk, power cycle it again, and put the disc back in. And then, typically, it won't load.

Issue has happened both pre and post 1.01 patch. I gave the developer time to patch before going on a warpath.

Trying to return this game to Amazon as a defective product, which it is. If they're half as good as people claim they are for customer service, they'll honor that, because this product is absolute garbage. And it may be the game of the year if it worked. But that's like giving me an Aston Martin that has a 4 cylinder engine. It doesn't work, so there's no point.

Bethesda needs to worry more about the developers and less about getting Chandler to do annoying faux greaser voiceacting.

This is the best combination of rpg and fps in a long while. The replay will last longer than Fallout, and the fun, the story, all of it, much better than Skyrim. Took me about 30 hours the first time in, and that was about 1/3 the trophies, but I can tell some of the others are going to be a great challenge.

The story is great, the graphics, all of it, the game sucks you in, AWESOME!!!

Metro: Last Light is the second game in the Metro franchise and is based off of novels written by Dmitry Glukhovsky. The premise is simple; a post-apocalyptic Russia where humanity has been forced underground to live in the metro system and forge a semblance of normal life. As one would expect, a metro system is a dark and dreary place, and living there is not for the faint of heart. When pressed to describe just what the Metro games are like, I often say they're a little bit like Fallout with a hint of Resident Evil. The first Metro game, Metro 2033, has an almost cult-like following. Some gamers have never even heard of the series before, but I believe Metro: Last Light has the potential to introduce many more people to this wonderful, vibrant, and challenging world.

Gameplay

At its core, Metro is a first person shooter with some survival/horror elements sprinkled in. It plays exactly as you would expect a FPS to handle. To be honest, the gameplay here is not groundbreaking, but it doesn't need to be. Metro is, and always will be, greater than the sum of its parts. Individually, the parts of Last Light may be average or just above average, but when they are combined they offer a visceral, engaging shooter.

Gunplay in a first person shooter, well, any shooter for that matter, can make or break a game. In this installment of the Metro franchise, 4A Games keeps it simple, and it works well. Where Metro does veer off-course is with inventory control, swapping weapons, and gadget usage. To manage your headlamp, charger, lighter, etc., you need to hold down the left bumper to bring up separate radial menus. Holding Y brings up your items, throwing knife, pipe bomb, incendiary bomb, and claymore. While I understand the layout, and how it was intended, in practice it seems like a step back and adds a level of unnecessary interface for item control.

As this is a post-apocalyptic setting, you will need to scavenge for ammo and supplies. This is one area where I truly believe Metro separates itself from other shooters. You search for the common items such as med packs, ammo, bombs, throwing knives etc., but you will also need to find gas mask filters to use when you go above ground or venture into "hot zones. You have a meter on your left wrist that shows how much time you have left on the filter you are currently using. Once it reaches zero you either have to change it or quickly or get to a safe area or you will die. It adds another dynamic to an already cruel, dark world.

I would be remiss if I didn't discuss my favorite aspect of the Metro games -ammo. During your travels you will find a variety of ammo for the different weapons you can use: assault rifle rounds, pistol rounds, shotgun shells, pneumatic rounds, etc. But, you will also find some coveted military grade rounds. The rounds, as one would expect, can be switched out in your guns to do more damage during those fights where you need a little extra firepower. However, the game forces you to make a tough decision. Military Grade ammo, while offering a nice damage boost when used, is also the only form of currency in the metro. Do you use those rounds to stave off a tough mutant attack, or do you save them to buy more of what you can use later? It's a choice that is not always an easy one to make, yet that is exactly why I love that feature.

Stealth in the metro is also a very viable solution to tackling a situation. If you are a fan of the run-and-gun style you can certainly play that way, although ammo will become scarce. Personally, I love sneaking through a tunnel, unscrewing a light bulb, and moving past my enemies so stealthily they never knew I was there. There are even achievements and trophies related to going an entire playthrough without killing anyone you don't have to. As much as I love stealth-based games, the one aspect missing from Last Light is the ability to distract someone. You can, to an extent, by shooting lights or, but the true ability to distract a guard and get them to investigate, allowing you to choke them out or simply sneak past them, could have raised this game to a whole new level.

While there are a few things I would have liked to have seen done differently, they by no means ruin the gameplay experience. Last Light is a solid shooter that offers a variety of enemies and set pieces to explore and survive. Constantly being worried about enemies and the environment adds another layer of depth and enjoyment.

Graphics

In comparing the visuals from the two Metro games, Last Light's graphics are much more crisp and not as blurry. The biggest improvement over 2033 in my opinion is the usage of shadows and lighting. In 2033 there wasn't really a gradient of shadow, it was pretty much just dark or not. In Last Light the shadows are a valuable entity that you can use to your advantage. The ability to shoot out lights to create more shadow, or even the ability to unscrew a light bulb to be able to sneak past people adds another dimension to the game.

Much like the movie Schindler's List or even Sin City; there is not a lot of color, which is to be expected in a post-apocalyptic game. It's dark, depressing and has a feeling of despair to it. However, there are segments where splashes of color are used for maximum impact, such as the use of red when you meet a faction of the game. Splashes of green amid the rubble of the destroyed city above add a glimmer of hope amid a desolate harsh world.

While the graphics in Last Light will not measure up to heavy hitters such as Crysis 3, the visuals can be equally stunning. Looking over Moscow with a cracked gas mask, wiping rain away from your mask really draws you into the moment and you realize the extent of the devastation that you are living in.

Sound

Sound in a game can either tie everything together, fully immersing the player in the world, or be so utterly jarring that it completely removes the player from the game. To be perfectly honest, I experienced both during my time of exploring Metro: Last Light. Thankfully, it was much more of the former than the latter.

In a survival/horror game ambient noise, in my opinion, is one of the most critical aspects of the game. It's those little noises that make you hesitate, look around, and peer into the dark depths of a corner hoping something doesn't come charging out at you. One memorable experience for me was finding a colony of Watchmen. I could hear them all around me, growling, moving, and even eating. Yet, I couldn't see them because they were in the walls. With the weapons and ammo that I had at the time, I became very anxious of what I was walking into. That combination ratcheted up the suspense of the entire encounter.

4A Games also took great pains to do the little things right as well -walking in a darkened tunnel and hearing a steady drip of water, being above ground and hearing the popping of bubbles, rain effects, storms, etc. All the small ambient noises add so much depth to the overall experience.

That's not to say that the audio was perfect. Most of the time when I play games, I wear a surround sound headset so I hear things a little differently. One thing that happened to me a few times was the audio I was hearing didn't always match with what was going on. For example, there were a couple of times a character would be talking to me on my left, but the audio was mostly coming from my right speaker. There were also a few instances when multiple characters would speak their dialog at the same time. While issues do exist, they don't happen frequently enough to be problematic, but occur just enough to be mildly frustrating.

Pros

Amazing atmosphere and ambience

Extremely rich narrative

Military grade ammo = currency. Forcing the player to make some difficult choices at times.

Cons

Clunky control interface

At times audio doesn't match to what is happening

Summary

I have made no secret to friends in the past that I am a big fan of Metro 2033. I have been looking forward to Last Light for quite some time. For people who are looking for a run-and-gun, shoot everything and have big amazing set pieces like Call of Duty or Battlefield, this game may not be for you. However, for those gamers who have said at one time or another that they wish the gaming industry would try something new and fresh where endless gun fights do not define the story then this is certainly a game that should be on your radar. Few games offer such a rich setting with the epitome of suffering and survival that Metro does. It forces you to plan ahead with things like ammo and filters and not rely on brute force to pass a level. While there may be a few things that could have been done better, the beauty of Metro is truly greater than the sum of its parts.

I absolutely adore this game. It is a great First Person Shooter developed by 4A Games, a Ukrainian developer. This is important because the working conditions for these people were terrible, and it is amazing that they created such a wonderful game with the poor resources they had available to them. They had a very small budget, (less than some developers get for cutscenes.)This was then published by Deep Silver, after THQ went bankrupt. Anyways, let's get to the actual gameplay. The game is basically how you want to play. It's linear, but there are several ways you can dispatch enemies and get through the levels. It can be played stealthily, like a normal shooter, or a mix of both. There are several points where you will have to shoot enemies, usually monsters or mutants on the surface. The entire game is just long enough before it gets tedious, it took me around 10 12 hours. The story is well created with a lot of plot turns and things you will not see coming. The graphics look very good, even for a PS3 game. The sound is very good, even the creepy ambient noise throughout many of the levels. If you want a great atmospheric, supernatural, story driven shooter, this is an excellent choice to purchase. There has been controversy over the DLC of the Ranger Mode, a harder, more engulfing experience. I recommend picking up the Limited Edition, as it already comes with it. The publishers deserve to get the money for the DLC, as they published such an amazing game. There is currently 4 DLC packs planned, as of the 31st of May, 2013. I will most certainly get the season pass, a total of $15, for all four packs, along with a bonus gun. The universe they have based this on and crafted is amazing, and I have enjoyed every second of it.

PSThis game is very mature. There is a lot of violence, along with nudity and strong language. While it is not a big deal to most, I thought that I would add that into there, just in case. The story is extremely dark, so expect to see some of the worst of humanity. That goes with saying that it involves a lot of death and sadness throughout the game.

I already wrote a review about the first game, so with this game it's all the same. Those things that aren't different I will mention. I loved the ending, and I loved the choices to be able to make. I am again very pleased that the game is nothing like the book. In fact I am not sure if the game took a few things from the plot of the book ''metro 2034''. The game is really well-made, once again having a lot of nice atmosphere and it's just no less than incredible. I would give this game a 10 or 9 /10. I also loved the fact that there is nudity in this game. Finally! :) I will be trying out the DLC for the game with big pleasure! Basically metro Last light is just as good as the first game! Can't go wrong with this game! Get it and try it out! I am also very curious as to why are there so few reviews? It's been a long time since the game was released. Last but not least, the books: ''Metro 2033'' and ''Metro 2034'' are incredible!

Limited edition, pre-order bonus and the season pass.. are all worth it.

P.S. the games and books show just how bad it is to make a nuclear war aka. extinction event of humanity, so let's not do it! X)

I think this game should be recalled. There are too many issues to list but a couple are: extremely slow load times, too many areas in game where disk needs to load, bad point of view on characters (meaning you can't see where the character is going because the screenshot is showing an area that is of no importance), maneuverability of characters is terrible. I have never written a review of a product but hopefully this will save people money and they will buy a different game.

If you read through the net, you will find very similiar comments on this game regardless of the platform. 95% of the reviews for this game are bad. A few personal comments. While the CGI for the crossover scenes between levels are decent (not that great but ok), the graphics during the game play is dissapointing. The basic game play is aweful too. I found myself dying not because of being killed by a villain but rather from me falling off some cliff (or rather) due to bad camera angles. It's not fun when you don't have a reason to die and yet you do. If you want to be frustrated for hours, then get it. Or else, save your money and buy a better game.

Taking the move out of the box gave me mixed emotions as soon as I started hooking up the equipment. As most ps3 slim owners know there is only 2 usb ports and they are both in the front. The move/eye camera requires one of these usb ports and is kind of messy with the wire coming around the back. But regardless you get it hooked up and I first notice I can navigate the XMB menu with the move controller! That's a +1 over Xbox who has there own little reserved menu for Kinect that has no functionality yet ( I know there's an update coiming..).

So I'm ready to play the tiger woods golf game of my life! I own all 3 consoles + pc so I know a good product when I see it, and I bought the Wii motion plus with tiger woods back when it came out, so I'm hoping for a similar experience. Once I got in the game and on the course, I found Move has a bit of a learning curve. This is partially the games fault, but multiple controls have you hold down 2 buttons while point the move in a certain direction. No problem for me, but my dad couldn't pick up on it as fast as the wii version was. I could tell it was working very similar to the wiimotion plus, although I couldn't tell if I really needed the camera to do this ball tracking that I couldn't see going on. It was kind of frustrating to the point when the controller died and we resorted to the old fashion dualshock, gameplay became 10x easier. My father and I we're cruising across Augusta no thanks to Move, and we didn't even have to get out of our seats.

I'm sure Sony and developers are trying to think of ways to use this but the way I see it this is more of a toy than a must have accessory. After using it I kind of treat it as the Wii motion plus on a better system in HD, but sadly that's where the comparisons end, and I think Sony was just like "we're gonna make a wii controller, but incorporate our Eye Camera we've sold for years, and hope developers want to use it." I just feel better using Kinect instead this Wii rip off, but people who never owned a Wii might like this next gen version. I have not tried Killzone 3 so maybe there's room for me to accept Move, but for now I'm not exactly "moved".

I like the move control system for High Velocity Bowling and Sports Champions. I also own Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2012. I'm not a big fan of that edition of the game(prefer 2010 ps3) but with this move/eye camera package they're essentially throwing the game in for free.

Buying a swivel mount for the eye camera I found to be an essential add on. You can also use velcro to firmly attache the eye camera. Depending on the move game and how high your television is the camera placement could be top of the TV center or at the base of the TV center. You should keep in mind that the camera needs to 'see' the move controller to work properly so be mindful of any obstructions between the camera and the controller.

You can buy a dedicated charging station for the move controller or just let it recharge through a usb cable connection to the ps3 while you're playing a game with the dual shock controller(what I do). I've never had a problem with my move controller being too low on charge to function. If all you want to do is game with the move than you should probably invest in a dedicated charging station for it to save power. ie: A ps3 slim draws 60-80 watts/hr and a charging station will draw about 1 watt/hr and doesn't need to be on for more than a few hours a day.

I've found the system to be fairly accurate and reliable. I've had mine for over a year and I've even banged it around some and it's still working fine. Like any technological gadget there will be a learning curve but if you exercise patience and observation I think you'll find this to be a satisfying device to add a physical dimension to your gaming.

The package is great if you're waiting for a fun move game. There are plenty of games picking up the Move as a secondary use, mainly so they don't limit their audience, which I understand. With games like Killzone 3 and Tiger Woods utilizing the Move there is starting to be less and less hesitation if you're on the fence. Now that it's out there to utilize you'll start to see games use it a bit more. With this pack you get a game that is great on its own, but with the move it's just that much more fun. They give you a little leeway with the learning curve, you can back out and go back and pick up your game from the hole you left off on incase you didn't have time to play the full 9 or 18 holes. There is a TON of depth to customize your golfer. From gloves to watches to shirts and grips, the level of customization is pretty detailed. Beware that this and many other move games come with a learning curve, but you haven't been playing motion controlled video games for years so this is expected. If you see any fault with what I've said please let me know.

Game is great! Deal on Amazon was great! Happy as can be :) Got the move version for a price I couldn't walk away from. If you like golf, this game is for you. The PS Move just makes it a little bit better.

The bundle was a great way to save some money. The eye and the move controller with this price alone is a great deal for under $50 which I was lucky enough to find. But with the TW Masters 2012 included, made it all the better. I've been playing EA Sports' PGA Tour golf since 1995 when it was it was ran on Windows 95. So I've had my experience with golf games. 2012 is great, but not the best. I give it a 5 star rating because of the the deal with this bundle. I still use the PS3 controller when I'm seriously playing, but the move is a lot of fun with friends and family. I wanted to get my girlfriend involved a little with the gaming world and she loves it! That being said, the PUTTING FOR THIS GAME IS TOO DIFFICULT TO FIGURE OUT. We ended up using the controller to put with. I also do not have a navigation controller if that makes a difference. But I didn't want to spend extra money if you can use the regular controller to navigate with just as the reviews have said.

But overall, the Playstation Move has gotten some really rough reviews. It's a lot of fun once you get a feel for it. Bowling is a lot of fun as well. I'd recommend Sports Champions 2 where you get bowling, golf, archery, tennis, boxing, and skiing. Boxing ans kiing are the only ones that require 2 move controllers if you're like me and bought just one for now to try it out. Bowling and golf are the most fun, especially with friends and family. The bowling game here is better than Brunswick and High Velocity to my taste. It's just a straight up bowling alley style play and easier to use and the same with golf.

I hope you've found this useful and don't listen to the negative reviews, the PS Move is not that bad and can be a lot of fun if you give it some time to figure it out especially if you love PS like I do. Good luck!

The game's camera will give you a headache very quickly, if there are team members scattered around the camera will focus the empty space between the players, sometimes the only thing you'll be able to see is a wall, including times when you NEED to see to solve a puzzle. Some puzzles are simply annoying, not hard, hard puzzles are great, but these are just annoying and time consuming. Also, you'll be able to beat the game pretty quickly (we did it in around 6 hours). And believe me, you'll play it once, at most, so if you can rent it that'll be even better. You might have some fun with some friends and all for a while, but you won't come back to play it to uncover secrets or just to get through it again.

But the most serious drawback is that this is a game that could have been done for PS2 or even N64 with the same results except for the graphics in -someparts of the game. The only "new" thing is flying as human torch with the Sixaxis, but it's not all that fun anyways, nor innovative. In fact, we've been playing Gauntlet Legends for PS2 for a while now and we can play it over and over again (the same game is available for N64 and maybe for PSX). So as a summary, nothing new and gets boring too quickly. So rent it or look for another game.

Okay, so I have had the Rock Axe for about a week now, and I can give some feedback regarding it.

First off, it looks fantastic. Having a real sized guitar and one that is made of great materials really makes a huge difference.

Aside from just the 'feel' and aesthetics, here is a breakdown of the individual areas that pertain to the 'controller' aspect of it.

But before I get into that, I must say the type of batteries you put in this makes a big difference. When I first got it, I just put in some rechargeable AA I have had for years. This made me think the controller had a bad wireless connection and was overall not too responsive. Then I picked up some of the fancy Energizer batteries made for hi-tech devices, and it began to shine.

The whammy bar is far, far superior to the default controller. Both in terms of build quality and ease of use. It's a little smaller overall and closer to the controller which makes using it a breeze.

The strum bar starts out tight and needs to be `broken in' so to speak. But its tactile feedback is also much better than the regular controller.

The misc. buttons (start, select, d-pad, selector switch) are all overall better visually and also in better locations on the guitar.

The top fret buttons are a bit further away due to the fact that this guitar is of actual size, thus the neck is longer. I actually find it a bit more comfortable this way. The bottom/solo fret buttons are the same spacing as the top buttons, which is too bad, since I liked how close they are on the default controller. Fret buttons overall feel a touch farther apart, they also don't butt up against each other, which is both good and bad. Good is that you aren't as likely to press a wrong button, bad is that pressing two buttons with one finger isn't as easy. This also could be colored by the fact that my fingers aren't as large as some people's. The buttons also take more pressure to activate than the default controller. Ashley Ltd told me they, like the strum bar, will `break in' over time with use.

All in all, I recommend this guitar, but do know that it will take a little getting used to it and also to put in some good batteries and expect that it needs to be `broken in.'

I got this guitar with high expectations. It is basically a real guitar that has been turned into a controller for Rock Band and GH3, which is pretty cool. Its a much different feel from the normal controller (a very good kind of different). It seems to be pretty good quality, except for that the wooden neck either was cracked on arrival, or cracked within a few days of me having it (not cool). Seems the wood isnt of the best quality.

Unfortunately there's more bad than good to this guitar when it comes to playability. The buttons are raised and spread apart, definitely different from the rock band version, meaning its a bit harder to slide the fingers up and down (not that big a deal). Theres also an issue with the "star power" function. I have to lean the guitar below horizontal, then heave it up in order for it to start the energy deal. Or I can just play normally and it'll start at random...interesting feature (sigh)....The biggest issue I have though is that the buttons dont register very well with the game I have to mash them down in order for a note to play, which becomes very tiring (mentally and physically) after just a few songs....

So bottom line....it seems like a great controller, looks and feels nice. But when it comes to actual playability, it definitely is sub-par, which is where it counts! I guess thats what you get with a controller that wasnt originally built to be a controller. Two stars.

This is what I was waiting for. I had seen other "real" guitars modded for GH and cost a ton of $$$ so I had to get this. I was trying to find some reviews but not that many out there. The product itself is built pretty solid. The one issue I have which is maybe prompting a return is that along with other users, I find the fret buttons are not very responsive. If you press down, 95% of the time it will register. Also, when holding down a fret button for a long note, sometimes the note will cut out. I already sent an email to Ashley and am waiting for a response. I also have been toying with the idea of opening it up and maybe swapping out the fret buttons for ones on one of my other wireless guitars but they don't seem to line up. After hunting around online, I found a site that gives step by step instructions to fix the button issue by putting shims under them because they are hollowed out to much over the rubber button that gets pressed. This seems to be a common issue so I might try that. If that corrects the problem, this controller rocks and I would recommend this controller.

Looks nice, however, buttons are very hard to press and strum bar hardly works. Stay away. Spend the additional money and get an official guitar for RB/GH

the controller works fine, but the red/green fret buttons are way to stiff. for example, when playing a continued note in gutair hero 3, the note would randomly stop being played, even though my fingers would still be pressed. its just very difficult to play with this controller.
