Not much to say, it's a charger! The glowing color changes are cool but I prefer to keep it as one color(blue).

Very cheap, very small, you can find them cheaper locally. Locking it into one color be slightly difficult to figure out in case you dont like the rotating colors. Comes with an extra long cable.

Cons : Like all other charge bases it can be difficult to seat the controller onto the usb plug.

It is small, compact and doesn't take a lots of space. The light that can randomly change or stay put as you want it. The cable is long enough to connect to any USB source. It doesn't use the power adapter to charge your PS3 controller. It just plugged right in USB PS3 console or computer. It was a nice design and I love it so much. I recommended this product to everyone.

When I purchased the Controller Charge Glo Stand for PlayStation 3, I didn't realize that it's simply an accessory. The PS3 console comes with a USB cable that plugs the controller directly into the console to charge it. This product is simply a flashier way to charge your controller. It would have been nice if this was communicated to me by the seller, as I don't really need this product.

This is a rock band 1 style wireless PS3 controller. It's packaged like the bundled guitars used to be. What I mean is, it's as though someone took the guitar box and guitar from a Rock Band 1 PS3 bundle and then repackaged it for this product. The head of the guitar is not attached (but it is included of course, this is how they're factory packaged) and it's wrapped up pretty thoroughly. All that leads me to believe this may have been a refurbished guitar or may even be brand new, but regardless because of the way it's packaged, I'm confidant it will play well (I haven't had a chance to test it out yet).

The game itself seems to be factory sealed so I'm confidant the export key will work as expected.

I tried contacting the seller via Amazon to ask about the details of this product, but never got a response. I also couldn't find a website for the company which made me suspicious before purchase. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and the chance I took on it. If anything above doesn't pan out, I'll be sure to note that here.

well THE BIGGEST problem, game is not released to us or Canada, so i had to order it from UK. The game-play and graphics are second to none, i have never seen a game quite like The Ashes, graphics are similar to NBA 2K10, with players facial expressions and swatting. you pretty much can play all the shots like in a real game mid-on, off etc....the bowling is also realistic with drift, dusras spin. The one feature, i enjoy the most is the ability to change how old the pitch is, i.e one game old two games old etc. It supports trophies so you will have new trophy every time you complete a challenge in a game.

The game is good but needs a patch released for fielding glitches, its very difficult to catch a ball, believe me i have played over 50hrs of it. on my good day i am able to complete only 80% of all catches. its not fully licensed by all cricket boards, so they have purposely misspelled the names of all the counties players except Australia and England. I would expect product like it, to be fully licensed. sometimes its hard to hit the ball but i have realized once you have passed the learning curve it almost becomes second nature.

overall, the game is 9/10. i personally feel its a step in the right direction as far as cricket games are concerned for xbox, and ps3. yes even though this game is PAL, format it play with ps3 in united states, you have to make sure you are using HDMI cables and HDTV

Cricket games have never captured the public imagination like, say, football games, mainly because a more complex sport is bound to breed a less-easily-grasped video game.

But Codemasters' Brian Lara-branded games of yore consistently outshone their rivals, and finally, the Britsoft publisher has acquired the plum cricketing licence: the Ashes. It's a big shame that Ashes Cricket 2009 didn't make it to the crease in time for the first Test in Cardiff, but at least it's a classy and thoroughly playable effort.

Usually play this to calm my nerves after an engaging chapter of any FPS....this is very relaxing and fun. Though option of spontaneous commentary would make this game even more mind blowing.

Love the game, cant stop playing. grt graphic. such games are hard to find these days. would recommend this game. But dont miss ur prayers for games.

Want Ashes Cricket (2009) PS3 Discount?

Ashes 2009 could have been better , if not for noticeable glitches in game play . While faulty umpiring occasionally makes it more realistic , it is overdone.Another thing is the fielding. The fielding is simply horrific. The appealing, too is overdone

Otherwise, the game was good. The Hawk-Eye technology is good for the game .There is a Legends Coaching .What made me buy this game, however, was the online game play. Although it is sometimes hard to find an opponent , it will all pay off in the end. But beware! Your opponent can quit the match at any time. Yet another downside!

Another thing in the game is' The Pavillion' In there , you can see all the trophies and stadia you have unlocked. You can also check out the world records.

In the game itself, you can pick one of 12 teams. You can then play a 20 over , 50 over or the longest form, the grueling test match . There are three difficulties.

Another 'up' is the customization. You can change the player's name, his appearance, his kit or you can edit his skills. Of course, you cannot edit the Aussies or English.

I needed a guitar for my Rockband PS3 since I have always been using friend's instruments. I decided to buy this since it works for Guitar Hero 3 PS2 as well as Rockband PS3, the two games that I have. It does work great for both of those games, although getting it to work for GH3 PS2 required a lot more than it should have. Also, I have to calibrate it every time or else it's off 20 ms or so.

It worked well for maybe two weeks, and even then you had to press the buttons really hard, but then the buttons started sticking. This wasn't that big of a deal in Hard Mode, but in Expert it is completely unplayable. How am I supposed to do hammer-ons when my Red button sticks for an extra second? Also, the raised bump on the yellow fret is way too rigid.. it starts to hurt your fingers after a while.

I am very upset about this guitar, having spent $60 on something that barely functions and doesn't last at all.

This is the lousiest piece-of-junk ever made. Weighs 1/2 as much as the Strat and plays 1/8 as well. Sticky-buttons, strange strap hooks and limp whammy bar and there you have it. Came in the wrong box. Bad sign. Rubber tuning forks. Cheap. All buttons are black matt. Not Chrome as displayed. The strap hook is on the back of the guitar. Not the chrome button on the tip of the body as shown. Mine broke after 3 weeks and I don't even care to get any kind replacement from the ant commandos. Dumb company name, too.

I like this guitar. I use it with Rock Band and have no complaints. The buttons are all the same color as in the picture. It is more matte black than shiny and the whammy bar is a little flimsy but I don't even use that much. I like the rubber tuning keys since they are just for decor you don't have to worry about them snapping off, and the strap placement is a lot more comfortable than other gaming guitars I've used. The button and strum sensitivity are good and the placement of the start and select buttons are convenient because you can easily put it into overdrive by bumping it with the butt of your palm, without accidentally pausing the game mid song. The only issue I have is the gyroscopic switch sensitivity. To put the guitar into overdrive by movement instead of pressing select you have to tilt the guitar completely vertical which causes a lot of mistakes in game. I'm thinking about taking it apart and adjusting it to react to only slight tilts. But still, I bought this guitar because it was full size, pretty, and I can customize it instead of borrowing my friends "instruments." Thumbs up for the Widow Maker... I just wish someone would make some sticker mods for it...

I bought this game for the PS3 because their aren't many good old fun kid's game like Mario from back in the day for the PS3. This one is as close as they come to that kind of Mario fun. I also bought this because it is these are the only types of games my wife likes to play. I like all genres but I mainly stick to FPS and some fighting i.e. Street fighter 4. This game is really fun for kids I'm sure and great for adults that like to connect with their inner children, like myself and my wife. Definitely worth it.

I'll spare you with the usual "games based on movies usually suck" intro that most people do for things like this. Truth be told, I downloaded the demo for Up when I first got my ps3 a few months ago, thinking it'd be something fun to play with my daughter since she loves the movie, and since you can play as Dug in this. The demo was decent, and it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Standard adventure/platformer, run around collecting stuff and solving pretty basic puzzles, and 'experience' the movie as you play it. Nothing special, but nothing all too bad either. After playing through the first couple of levels of the finished product, I think the demo was more fun.

Since most people interested in this game have probably already seen the movie and are just wondering how it holds up, we can skip the story portion of the game since it's basically the same. You play as Carl or Russell for the majority of the game, working your way through the jungle, caverns, mountains and skies to get to Paradise Falls and escape from Muntz and his dogs. Most of the gameplay consists of platforming and collecting items, though some levels have you sliding down tunnels and engaging in literal dog fights with Muntz's planes. Carl and Russell play the same for the most part, and have their own unique abilities they can use once you've gotten the right items (but in all honesty, you can get through the game without using any of the abilities after the first hour). They'll need to work as a team in order to progress, like having Carl jump to higher ground using his cane, then using it again to pull Russell up. Or have Russell walk across a thin ledge and use his scout rope to pull Carl up too. Ok, so basically they ARE the same but with different animations and items to do the same things. Through the levels there are a lot of things to collect like mementos, artifacts, bugs, merit badges, etc. They help you unlock extra things like artwork and work towards the trophies, of which this game is very generous with. Anyone looking for an easy platinum, look no further.

So if it's such a basic game, what happened to make it be just 3 out of 5 stars? Well, I'm actually being generous there, though part of it is because when it was over, I did enjoy the couple of hours I spent playing the game. The problem is that this game -needsto be played with a second person in order to not be frustrating. At times, the second character wouldn't move anywhere, and I'd have to switch characters just to get them going, then switch back to who I was using as my main guy. Other times, the CPU would run off cliffs or into traps over and over. It got annoying, and I highly recommend any parents getting this for their kids to be around when they're playing it so you can help them when the time comes. Other times the other character would freeze in place or get stuck on an invisible object, and I'd have to restart from the last checkpoint. And get thissometimes I'd jump towards an edge for Carl to grab onto, only to jump THROUGH the wall and die. This game could've used a lot of polish, and even an extra month for testing would've helped it out big time I'm sure. But as it is with 'kid' movies that get made into games, the developers figure they can rush something without putting any effort into it. I was especially ticked at the hit box for the final plane fight, because I'd pass under another plane, and then blow up despite it having went past me 3 seconds earlier. Finally, boss fights and encounters with Muntz's dogs were a pain. Sometimes the boss wouldn't move at all, and I'd have to die a few times touching it just to get things going, or Muntz's dogs would run in circles for their attack while I'm a good 10 feet away, causing the fight to drag on. When fighting them, you have to block when they attack, then after the second block, you make them go away. Nope, you can't use your attack feature that you'd use in any other situationyou can only block for those encounters.

The graphics are standard, and look more like something that even the PSone could've done. Character models and level designs are very simple, and there aren't any fancy CG cutscenesit's all in-game graphics. But they get the job done, and the characters look like they should. They actually got Ed Asner and Christopher Plumber to do their voices here, and everyone else sounds like their respective characters in the movie. The music is ok, but forgettable, though they do have the main theme from the movie at times. All in all, the soundtrack is average just like most aspects of the game.

I'm not trying to be mean for a game geared towards younger gamers, but this sucker needed more time in development. After playing another movie-based game that was actually good (Where the Wild Things Are for ps3 also), this one was disappointing. Too many glitches, stupid AI and nothing aside from trophies to make me or my daughter play it again make for something you should only get for less than retail price. Heck, just rent it for a weekend and save some time and frustration.

My husband just got a PS3 for christmas, and this is the closet thing I found to play with two players that wasn't an action or killing game. My husband and I enjoyed playing this game together, and did it as a routine every night for about 30 minutes. By the third or forth night we completed the game, and shocked me. I couldn't believe it was over already. Now we are having a hard time finding other games similar to this which are longer. I think this is a great game to play with the whole family for fun, just remember it's not very long. I am not one who enjoys killing games, and action. I tend to enjoy adventure games, and for me personally I love how they instructed what to do throughout the game so you never get stuck.

I got this thinking it would be something nice to have for my PS3 slim..well I was wrong, it does not lock on like it says it does, the moment you pick up your PS3 it falls right off, so unless you like your PS3 just sitting in the same spot forever without having to put this on over and over again, then this is for you, if you don't like it in the same spot for a long period of time, then this is not for you.

Buzz! Quiz TV was my introduction to Buzz Quiz. I fully enjoyed that game and found it to be perfect for parties, family events or having fun when I feel like playing a game that uses my knowledge against opponents rather than my virtual bullets. This year, Buzz! Quiz World has come along and instantly taken the place of Quiz TV.

Buzz! Quiz World

9/10

The Good:

+ Buzz! Buzzers are simple to use for everyone, with 4 colored buttons and a big red buzzer.

+ Slick new presentation with improved visuals all around.

+ Player Profiles allows individual stat keeping.

+ Much improved online gameplay over Quiz TV.

+ Works with all the Quiz TV Quiz packs I had bought.

+ The categories are improved and many new game types.

+ Customizeable game types allows you to pick your rounds.

+ Buzz is less repetitive in his remarks, yet every bit as cheeky.

+ Buzzers come paired to the receiver out of the box, requiring no set-up.

The Bad:

Characters from Quiz Tv seem to be absent.

Still no custom character editor.

Only features English, no Spanish or French language options.

Buzz! Quiz world does what few games can do Please all ages and types of gamers and non gamers at once. I have played an 8-player game with children, teens, twenty-somethings like myself and older adults. Buzz! managed to pull everyone in so we were all crying foul as the current winner answered correctly. It is so perfect for anyone that likes socializing.

With Quiz world, many of my complaints with the Quiz TV have been addressed. For starters, you can now customize what rounds you play. Don't like the pie round? Now you can turn it off to make a custom game suitable to the group playing. Many people I play with complain about the Final Countdown round (which now plays the titular song by Europe) and you can even cut that out. Quiz World also features several new rounds such as Boilng Point, which gives the points to the first player to answer six correct questions.

Buzz now personally addresses player by asking you to pick from a list of names. It goes a long way and makes it feel more like you really are in the game and Buzz is more than just a virtual muppet. Also, this allows tracking of individual profiles, and Buzz remembers your tendencies. For example Buzz said to Kevin, one player who is frequently winning but had fallen into 4th, "Kevin, good to see you back at the top where you belong" after he had regained the lead in one round.

It's many of these small little details that really adds to the longevity and overall fun a game offers. At the end of every game, Accolades are given. It reports who was the fastest buzzer, who had the most right answers (which doesn't always equate to a win), who had the least and who got to pick the most categories just to name a few.

For those like me who had a Quiz Tv bundle, it makes sense to buy the Quiz World bundle to finally have 8 buzzers. It comes with buzzers identical to the buzzers included in the Quiz TV Bundle. Sony doesn't seem to sell buzzer pack seperately in the US, so it is required to buy another bundle to have 5-8 players. When you do wish to use 8 buzzers, you will need to use both dongles, as each dongle supports 4 buzzers.

An 8 player game of Buzz! Quiz is a great experience, but Quiz TV had made it lite on rounds and features. Thankfully, Quiz World now allows full games for 8 players too, whereas Quiz TV only had 3 round 8 player games. This may not sound important, but it really does make the game more interesting to have it more than 3 round if you 'd like. Now you won't have 7 other people surprised the game is over already.

Another area where Quiz World shine is the online mode. You can now play with 1-4 people on the same PS3! In Quiz TV 4 people could play, but would all control the same character. Quiz World gives everyone control over their own character and allows up to 8 players to play online on multiple PS3s, or 2 if you have 4 players on each one. Of course, it still features My Buzz quizzes so you can create and share your own custom trivia packs.

The only thing I would like to see Buzz! add is more characters to choose from, or even better the ability to use PSN Home avatars or create your own character to use. There needs to be more characters for practical reasons too. In the instance that you have 5 females players or more, some will have to choose a male character. It's a minor gripe, but something they could have easily remedied by at least including all the characters from Quiz Tv. Where are Cave Girl and Disco Man?

Overall, Quiz World is much improved and a worthwhile purchase for Quiz TV owners and those new to Buzz. You will most certainly be happy with. Just remember to pick up 8 AA batteries and then go get your Buzz on.

If you are sick of watching your kids shoot people and want a game everyone can enjoy, then this is for you!

This is one fun game! The wireless buzzers are great. The format of the games are lots of fun and the characters are very custimizable. Buzz calls you by name. There are almost 5,000 questions on the disc so you will probably go for quite a while without repeats. Players can also add questions, so the possibilities are andless. Also, there are more sets of questions on the Playstation Network you can purchase.

Buzz even has online "sofa vs. sofa" so you can play against people online. Up to 8 people can play!!! Overall this game is WELL worth the money! Very fun!

We've been having our Friday get togethers for many year now and when the first Buzz game came out for the PS3, it added a lot of fun to our Fridays, but the thing that lacked was only 4 person support, now with Buzz Quiz World, if you have the previous version, you can play up to 8 people at once, which lets everyone get in on the fun.

Like another reviewer said, this game is improved in every way, there's now MANY different categories, we've played this for many hours already and are still getting lots categories coming up that we've never seen before which always makes it nice. There's a few different rounds, but I think my only complaint about the rounds would be that in 1-4 player mode, there's more round types and they're all random, but in 5-8 player mode, it's always the same rounds at the same time, which really isn't a problem, it'd just be nice if there were more 8 player rounds and it'd be mixed up a little for when your group plays 5-6 games in a row.

On characters, I love how the game now saved your character statistics and at the end of the game, it'll go through and show fastest finger, most questions answered correctly, most wins ever, etc.. Also when you start a new game, it'll use information from them in the character introductions like say "The reigning champion" or "This guy plays buzz more than me", ha ha. On the characters themselves, there's some nice additions to the cast, I just wish they would've added a few more or kept some of the old ones like the nerdy guy, afro guy, cave girl and rocker, which are no longer available. The new ones are fun though, like the old lady that drops her dentures or the guy in the lizard suit, ha ha.

Another nice improvement about the game to is that the lowest person in point total isn't always the person to pick the round, it does mix it up, like the person that drops the most in a round will pick, so you don't have to worry about the person that's always on the bottom picking every single category.

One thing I wish about the game was that there was more single player games, currently on this one, it's just you answering straight questions to get a score, which it does save and others can try to top it, it would've been nice if you could play against a couple of computer players. I guess though, that's what Playstation Network is for, you can always find someone on there to play against.

Overall, this game is great fun ! If you bought the first Buzz game on the PS3, you NEED to get this one, you'll love it. If you never tried Buzz before, this is your time to pick it up and dive into the fun.

I purchased this game a year ago for my wife for Christmas. We have only played the game 3-5 times and pulled it out to play on our new tv the other day. First game worked fine. When trying to play the second game the controllers would no longer connect. Changed the batteriess in the controllers which didn't help. It seems that the usb dongle that picks up the signal from the controllers has gone bad. No problem right? WRONG! I searched the internet high and low and could not find a replacement and after emailing Sony support, the only answer seems to be "purchase another set of controllers". That might sound easy but they are not available as a stand alone accessory either! I'm not sure what people that buy just the game without the controllers are doing. Sony says they can replace it under warranty (only 90 days!!!) but can't tell me where to buy a new usb dongle to operate the contollers. I've read that the old wired controllers from the PS2 will work and seem to be available on Ebay pretty resonable.

If you buy this game and it stops working YOU ARE SCREWED!! Here is your warning!

Great family game when it works though.

This game is fun. It's not awful but it's not great either. I think kids would enjoy this game. I enjoyed that it has many of the characters from the show with strong performances from all the voice actors. I also liked that it captures the same humor that makes the tv show good family fun. My biggest disappointment was with the graphics which make a PS3 game look like something made for the wii. Far too often the camera view is too far from the action. This game would be so much better if you could be real close to the action. Another disappointment was that the game was too short. The game play is very similar to the Lego Star Wars game but with less content. If you're going to get the PS3 version I would recommend renting instead of buying or wait until the price drops below $30. Or get the PC version instead.

When I read the first review here I decided not to purchase the game even though my son (13 years old) had downloaded the demo and loved it. However, I did decide to rent it and my son loves it. When I asked him what he likes his reply was "everything." When pressed to give specific examples he replied that he likes that you can play as so many different characters, and that missions take place between Season 1 and 2 of the show so things are new. I know he likes the fact that in the game he can use his points to purchase "hats and masks" and change his character's look. This can get quite humorous when the original slender bodies are topped by some outrageous looking hats, helmets and masks. It does make it easy to spot your character though!

He's been playing this for the last three days so I know he likes it. How does this game compare to other Star War games he has played? He played "The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels" for about 20 minutes before he announced to me that I could return it to the rental store. Thank goodness I didn't buy that. He really likes the "Lego Star Wars" games and he played them a lot when we first bought them a couple years ago--but at 13 he has kinda outgrown those versions and finds "Clone Wars: Republic Heroes" better. This game is more advanced that Lego Star Wars.

I also read a review that was criticial of the small size of the characters, but for us this hasn't been an issue. He's been playing this on a 40-inch LCD screen, so perhaps at half the size this could become an issue.

Bottom line: This is a fun game with an interesting story line and good graphics.

Buy Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes Now

Look, folks....here's the deal. I bought this game because my son (3) likes to both play and watch me play the PS3 and Wii. I bought this for the PS3 and we play it co-op.

If you're anywhere close to being an adult (or teenager...or maybe even 10), then this game will likely be way too easy and boring for you. There are tons of checkpoints on each level, and if you die, you just respawn at the checkpoint (seriously...you can't go 10 seconds without going over the next checkpoint).

You play most of the levels as Jedi, but there are a number of Clone Trooper levels, too (which I think are more fun). Each level is fairly short, so it's like bite sized Star Wars. My son has no trouble playing on the normal levels, but he wouldn't be able to pass the boss levels on his own. I had to coach him through some of the controls, but he can blast and slice his way through droids with no problem.

Without rehashing what other reviewers have said, just know what you're buying. I'm giving this game 4 stars because FOR WHAT I BOUGHT IT FOR (playing co-op with my 3 year old), it's a great game. No consequences if you die, easy and it's Star Wars. If you're looking for some in-depth, engaging experience, look elsewhere.

-It Star Wars

-They have the voice Actors

-The sound is good.

The amazing bad

-Awful Controls

-Shoot with the R stick? Really? Its like Smash TV in the 80's.

-It looks like a ps1 game played on the ps2 while looking through your own tears.

-Jedi can't die, they come back to life faster then Optimus Prime.

-Take over droids by stabbing them? Had that even worked on anything?

Do you want even the smallest chance that your kids will stab something to control it.

-Yoda tells you how to do everything, and I mean everything, short of up is up and down isn't up.

The Rant

Where is Battlefront 3 ?

Where is Rogue Squadron X ?

Where is the originality ?

Why can't any star wars game by good? Why? Whats so difficult?

A starwars fps, flight sim or RPG that you don't have to play online is badly needed.

Verdict

2/10 for creating a crappy game and disapointing us all, again.

Flow is a good game. Flower is a GREAT game. But Journey... Journey is the best game I've played in my life, and I've been playing since the days of the Nintendo Entertainment System in the 1980s. The following review is SPOILER FREE.

It's difficult to put into words what exactly makes Journey so special. As the title implies, it's more of an "experience", and I might even call it a spiritual/digital pilgrimage, as odd as that might sound. I have never before been so captivated while playing a game, so fully immersed, and so interested in what would come next. This accomplishment is even more remarkable when you consider that Journey contains no dialogue (written or spoken), and breaks many of the standard conventions that gaming relies upon.

My recommendation for your first time through is to play it in solitude, in a darkened room, preferably with a good sound system, as the music is phenomenal. On the visual side, an HDTV is a must, and the larger the screen, the better. This is an incredibly immersive experience, and the more you can focus on it, the more you will get out of it. On subsequent playthroughs, it's fun to watch a friend play, and take joy in their reactions to the wonders they experience.

Journey contains an orchestral soundtrack that is breathtaking, and fits the game perfectly. The visuals are equally spellbinding, and they become more and more fantastic as your journey progresses. Photos do no justice to the feelings that Journey's sweeping landscapes will evoke in you.

One of my favorite aspects of Journey is that it can be completed, from start to finish, in a mere two hours. This means that going back and revisiting this incredible experience is relatively easy, even for those of us who are pressed for time between jobs and real world responsibilities. Journey can be played any evening after work, and it's fantastic to revisit its immersive, therapeutic, and breathtaking world. Making this game short was not a mistake, but a stroke of genius. There is no bloat, and every minute spent in the experience is finely tuned to provide maximum enjoyment, emotional stimulation, and thought provocation.

I downloaded each of these games as they were made available on PSN. Therefore, I do not own the physical copy, so I cannot comment on the packaging or the bonus materials. My review is strictly for the content of the games themselves, and I give this collection my highest possible recommendation.

I've played through Journey several times, for a few reasons. The first time I played the game, the typical "gamer" in me came out. The goal, to get from beginning to end, while trying to take in some sights along the way. After I completed the game, I got it. It hit me what the point was of the game, and I restarted my Journey again the next night. I spent more time looking around, and found little hidden symbols along the way. Then suddenly someone showed up in the game with me. You can't talk, or type in the game. They are just there. You can chose to run around together or not. These other people just drift in and out in the game, all on their own journey. After I completed the game a second time, I had spent longer enjoying the amazing music and the astonishing visuals through the game. I put it away and didn't play for a while.

Then some time later, I learned there was such thing as players called "white cloaks". I wanted to see one, so I went again into the game and meandered around online. I met one who was on their journey, and decided to play through the game with them. We had so much fun working together. We had no way to communicate, we just had to use our intuition. We completed the game together, and it was almost a shocking moment for me. This game and it's meaning are so much deeper than one can understand on the first play through. The older you are, the more the meaning of this game will touch you.

After working for a while, I finally found all the hidden symbols in the game, and became a white cloak as well. My red garment turns white when I play, and my scarf regenerates itself, letting me fly for longer periods of time. While the game itself is short, it's got enough content for several play throughs. There is an incredibly deep meaning to the Journey, it's what the journey stands for. It's who you meet along the way, and your choices of whether to go alone, or take the journey with someone else. You can't "die" in the game as others have mentioned, but that's because it would defeat the meaning of the game. I agree with what others have said. Play this game alone (not offline, just alone at your home without distractions of other people around), on the best TV you have, with the best sound and in a dark room or in the evening. You will get the best visuals from the game, and have a better environment for contemplating the full meaning of the game. There is much depth to be found in it's simplicity.

I was cautiously optimistic as I prepared to play Journey for the first time. There were so many glowing reviews by game journalists that I could not discount its quality, however I wasn't completely convinced of its greatness and so approached it with hope and a slight amount of pessimism.

There have been many defining moments with video games that I've experienced in my life. The joy and wonder of discovering likes of Pac Man and Centipede in the arcade as a five-year-old. As I grew up and video games changed, my horizons opened up with the possibility for adventure in The Legend of Zelda on the NES. Super Mario Brothers, Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Doom and Half Life. Each of these represented major evolutional steps in video games. Exploration, adventure, 3D worlds, immersion, storytelling. I look back fondly on all of those experiences but in doing so realized that as the years have gone by these types of moments came with less frequency and impact. I love games such as Mario Galaxy, Red Dead Redemption and Skyrim. I can appreciate the mind-blowing quality and depth of these games but they don't stack up to the experiences of my youth with, arguably, vastly inferior games.

It only took a short time with Journey to come to the realization that I was experiencing something that I had been missing for many years. Chills ran down my spine. My pulse quickened. I was enthralled. It was not immediate but grew like a wave, building slowly and consistently until the wave broke in a crescendo that was moving and awe-inspiring that left me speechless and teary-eyed. I had not been affected like this in years and perhaps ever.

Journey is an experience that is a privilege to partake in. It evokes a range of emotions from joy and wonder to fear and heartbreak. The visuals are a sight to behold. It is simple, but not simplistic. It will make you ponder life, friendship, love, loss and triumph. Journey deserves to be experienced.

I just played through Journey and that was the most amazing gaming experience I've ever had. When I started, it was pretty cool but nothing mind blowing but you just keep going and somehow it turns into this really awesome experience. By the end, I had tears streaming down my face and I'm choking up and I'm 40 yrs old and my main game of choice is Gears of War. Absolutely amazing.

Being a person who is detrimentally opposed to purchasing any and all digital content it killed me to not play these games so I overjoyed at finally being able to buy a physical copy of these games and I did so without hesitation. I can only comment on the 3 main games as of now since I haven't checked out the bonus content or the mini games yet and waiting till I have finished and satisfied with the 3 main releases in this collection.

Flower: An absolute joy to play. It has been decades since I played a game and found myself smiling and actually feeling happy playing it. It's such a simple game with no spoken dialogue, no words, no context given or anything. You use one button essentially, have the visuals and music throughout the game and nothing more. I found something akin back to a Disney movie of sorts about good and evil that is told so subtly that its mind boggling as to how they told a story that is barely there using so little and having such an effect on me. I played the game twice and had just as much fun the second time. Its a very soothing game, very peaceful and yet instills a sense of dread at certain points.

Journey: Like so many others, it made me cry at the end. I can't explain why or how but I just felt a surge of happiness that it made me tear up right at the last section of the game. Again it told this story using very little at all beyond just images and interpretation. Although this game seemed to have more story to it. Sadly I can't go into details without spoiling anything, but once you play it you will see what I mean. Wonder, happiness, sadness, danger, loneliness and excitement were feelings I had when playing this game. I played it twice but I'm holding off as I don't want to overdue, this will be a game I come back to again soon but I don't want to wear out its welcome.

Flow: Not a terrible game but just not something I enjoyed. It was fun, interesting and different. But it just felt unfinished and the controls left something to be desired. I didn't hate it by any means but it just didn't resound with me the way the other 2 games did. This was also their first game so growing pains are to be expected and you can definitely see they made a huge leap in their skills when making flower and further polishing themselves with journey.

All in all I can't recommend this collection enough. For 30 bucks purchasing it new shouldn't be a problem because I got more out of these for 30 bucks than I have spending 500 bucks on big name games from the past 2 or 3 years. I reminded me of why I love games like I did when I was a kid instead of just spending 60 bucks on brand x AAA title of the month and going through the motions only to finish it and forgetting most of what I just played. Not to mention your measly 30 bucks will support this amazing developer and keep them making more great titles.

I was so thrilled to get this. I play bass and being a girly girl, I loved the color. The size was also preferable to the small little dinky guitar. First of all, the dial instead of the whammy bar.. I tried it. I could almost pull it off.. but in the end, I just quit using it. For that reason alone, I'd avoid buying it again. There was also a thumb rest for using the strum bar. It got in the way horribly, however... especially if I tried to go for the whammy knob. I ended up taking it off. Next thing about it was that I had a major problem with it just stopping working during songs.. just randomly. Maybe it was losing the link for a second or something.. but it would just quit randomly. I could change position and it would fix itself. Sometimes though.. it needed resyncing. I took very good care of this. It was an all adult house. In fact, everyone that came over to play knew it was my guitar and left it alone. One day, however, it just quit. It wouldn't turn on. Nothing. I took it apart (I'm A+ certified and work on computers.) There wasn't any sign of physical damage or burnt anything on any of the circuits that I could find. The only thing I did find is that the wiring was extremely cheap and thin and it was put together in such a way that one of the internal wires was being smashed by another piece, but this was done during manufacturing and I can confirm that because they put a special glue all over everything to keep any cords/parts from moving and all that was still in place. So if that wasn't the cause, then I don't know why but it just simply quit working.

I'm sad to say it.. but I will not be purchasing another until they put the whammy bar back and fix the cheap wiring.

Fret buttons are nice and responsive, very light touch that makes hammer-on and pull-offs easier.

Split strum bar is nice, a little stiff but feels to be good quality.

Slight issue with the effects switch randomly activating causing notes to be missed though (could just be mine).

Long neck is nicer for people with normal sized arms but takes a little more time to get to the solo buttons mid song.

"Tuning pegs" at the head are a little thin and made of cheap plastic but add a nice touch of authenticity. However they will probably be broken in a few months from an accidental hit or strap popping off.

Can't wait to try it with the mad catz stomp box to activate the star power.

Playing Rock Band with my very own pink bass has made it that much more fun for me. It is my own personal instrument and creates more of a personal investment in the game!

I didn't realize when I ordered this that the whammy bar has been replaced by a knob. I'm not sure how I'm going to adjust to that, and will have to explore the other options left in previous comments.

Also, I agree, the color is not terribly metallic. It's also not as purple-ish as it appears in the picture. Mine is more of a medium pink.

I had some difficulties getting the guitar sync'd with the system, the button on the dongle is very tiny and you can't really tell you are successfully pushing it. The instruction booklet is very sparse. It also wouldn't initially work on the Track Pack but that resolved after I ran it through RB3.

Finally, my biggest disappointment is that I paid full price for what I believed to be a new instrument, and it arrived with 2 very visible scuff marks and a chip in the black enamel around the strum bar. It functions fine and I doubt I'll bother trying to exchange it just for that, but I am irritated.

The game itself is amazing, even if the menu system is a little less than intuitive. Definitely looking forward to the DLC.

Since this is my second run with Rocksmith, I tried to upgrade guitars at my new location. Still unsure if I purchased a bad cable or a bad guitar, but I was hoping to do better than the stock guitar in the original starter kit. So far nothing registers :-/
