Worst buy I have made on Amazon. I always am confident of what I buy but this piece of junk is going to make me think twice next time I buy something. It looked fine at first, but with the faulty device, I could not connect it to any bluetooth because it would not scan this headset. Then the instructions did not help since they were also faulty, not specifying what each part was;Not helping at all with how to connect it to somewhere. Overall, I gave it one star because I could not do a negative

Cons:

-Campaign mode: Treyarch was never one for a good plot. Single player is fun, but feels overloaded with adrenaline and explosions at times.

-Online maps are considerably smaller, fans of sniping will gripe about this.

-Max prestige mode has been upped to 15 (more resets, less level cap)

-Graphics seem to have decreased slightly to make room for customization

Pros:

-TWO-PERSON ONLINE: Yes, you can now play with two people on the same system ONLINE. Finally.

-Zombies: Treyarch knows what they do well, and they stick to it. More zombie maps, more styles, more fun.

-Online Customization: Clan tags, player cards, guns, player look it can all be customized

-Tailored for CASUAL gamers (Kill streaks reduced, access to equipment early on)

-More multiplayer game modes: Wager Match (Gun game, Sticks and Stones, One in the Chamber), more Hardcore game modes

-RC-XD actually works! Very high quality, great video audio for price (Only available if you bought Prestige Edition)

Reason Purchased: I purchased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It only made sense to buy Call of Duty: Black Ops from a series I love/hate so much.

Bottom Line: Treyarch knows what works for them, and they know what the people want. Their focus on customization and Zombies has left other industry players in the dust. I highly recommend this edition over the previous installments.

Man this game is in a word good, I truly see what all the big fuss is about. Modern Warfare 2 got me into 1st person shooters but this one more complex

than that. The graphics arent't as good as MW2. The weapons, voice-overs and missions are ok. And the multi-player is absolutely wicked, you can play split-screen multi-player this time around. I just love the new and old features, the new guns (crossbows, mac-11 and dragunov and explosive shells)and kill streaks (this time the kill streaks are more diverse), online campaign modes. Wager Matches is a beautiful addition using in-game currency, the multi-player maps and the new leveling up system and they also added realistic gore and dismemberment to the game which really makes it M-Rated worthy. I will definitely recommend this to anybody who's looking for a 1st person shooter, if you just so happen to feel you`re getting beat down in this game you can check out the Theater Mode, so you can analyze your own performances to make yourself better. The new modes in this game just keeps going and going and more importantly they're useful you'll love them. This time around everything is more in-depth, you don't just customize things you personalize them with new gun colors the gun colors kinda reminds me of Army of Two, emblems and etc. I am not too pleased with how you earn the pro-level for the perks, in MW2 you had an assigned challenge for each perk. With this you now have 3 challenges to complete to earn pro-level, I'm concerned earning the pro-level takes too long. But for an avid gamer it may be simpler. I can once again, see why this is the most anticipated game of the year, MW2 was hard to top and they didn't pull it off. By the way, I also really enjoy the RC-XD that came with the Prestige Edition it's a nice added bonus. Now for my review: GRAPHICS 4stars (it falls short of MW2 graphics), GAMEPLAY 5stars (it still handles like MW2), REALISM 4stars, WEAPONS 5stars, MULTI-PLAYER 5stars. Modern Warfare 2 kept me well entertained and challenged for an entire year, there's no doubt that Black Ops won't do the same. CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS 5STARS... Good

I received this game the day after it was released. The game is fun, but the remote controlled car that came with the Prestige Edition simply did not work.

I tried to exchange it, but was unable to because it was out of stock. I had to pay to ship it off to the manufacturer to get it replaced. It took over a month and several phone calls to get it replaced.

My son likes it, but I was dissapointed with the car even after we got one that works.

The game itself is a lot of fun.

I have to start by saying that Amazon.com is AMAZING!!! I will never pre-order or order a video game from any other place then Amazon.com again;ever. They have top notch service before and after the sale and I always get my pre-order on release day for .99. I used to order from Gamestop or Bestbuy and go down and get my game the day of release, but the staff (mainly at gamestop) is always condesending and unhelpful to say the least. Thanks Amazon for making the internet shopping experience the way it was meant to be.

Okay, I really love the Call of Duty franchise and this game is no exception. It has a great single player campaign and the storyline is fine. The ending is kinda weird but I won't spoil it for anybody that hasn't played it yet. I have only played the zombie mode a couple of times with some friends and it is as fun as it ever was. Definitely gets harder and harder as you move on through the levels (who knew zombies could move so fast being dead? and they are pretty smart too. I guess its from eating so many "brains" LOL). Well, that is the good part of the review. Unfortunately, I have to say that the multiplayer mode on the ps3 is broken from day 1 and is still broken as of the date of this review (11/29/10). It is almost impossible to join a game with a party and finish to completion, and even if you are lucky enough to finish, the lobby is usually closed after 1 or 2 games. Most of the time you either get connection interrupted or host migration in the middle and then it sends you back to the lobby mid game and then closes the lobby. When you do get into the game, it is hit and miss when shooting because of the lag or the hit marker detection and various other issues. I also have this game for the xbox 360 and in my opinion the game runs flawlessly on there and I have a great time playing the multiplayer with rare instances of problems at all.

If you haven't bought the game and you have both consoles, get it for the 360. If you only play the single player then by all means get it for the ps3. The campaign is kinda short thought, 4 to 5 hours. If you want to read what others are saying, goto callofduty.com and then click on black ops and then goto the forums and read them under the ps3 section

This is one of the most polished first person shooters today in every aspect of the game. The single player storyline is intriguing, although sometimes hard to follow. You might have to beat the game 2-3 times before you understand the whole premise. The voice acting and cut scenes are awesome, they really bring you into the story and give you a sense of realism. Speaking of which, the dismemberment and gore is much more realistic as well. AI is very similar to previous CoD and can be defeated tactfully or by going bonsai. It seems slightly more difficult to kill enemies in this game as well.

Online is always going to be fun and the new perks are awesome. I haven't played enough to comment, but I can say that there is 100s of hours of gameplay possible with the multiplayer.

And lastly, the RC car rocks!!! It works from a fairly good distance and the sound/video is decent quality. My only gripe, after spending over $130 there were no batteries!!!! and this thing takes a lot of batteries, 12 to be exact (6 in the RC, 6 in the remote). They were nice enough to include an aluminum plated game case, CoD medal, and certificate of authenticity.

At the end of the day it was a good purchase and would recommend it to friends. I will have plenty of fun messing with the car and the game just rocks.

Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time is a great conclusion to the series, but the beautiful part about it is that you can play it without having played any of the other games before it. When you first pop in the disc you're greeted with a short movie that explains all of the events leading up to this game. Once that's over, you're up to speed and ready to roll.

The story is quite interesting, it's loaded with laugh-out-loud humor, and the characters are voiced to perfection. This rivals any of the Hollywood CGI movies that have come out in recent memory in terms of animation, story, humor, and the acting performances.

The game is loaded with variety. As Ratchet, you'll be flying around in your spaceship, in kind of an open-world setting, where you can visit various planets and moons in each space sector and accomplish side-tasks. The moons are spherical and come in two really fun varieties: platforming segments which will you remind you of Super Mario Galaxy, and shooting segments which will you remind you of Super Stardust HD. The planets are where the story actually takes place and you will explore much larger environments and meet new characters. In space, you can get into dog-fights with Dr. Nefarious' minion space-ship fighters, or you can meet up with various other space-travelers and help them with their requests. Your ship is upgradable, you just have to find little creatures called Zoni. There are 40 of them hidden throughout the game's universe, many of them are found by completing the optional moons. While roving around in your ship, there are also 4 fictitious radio stations to choose from. They all feature wonderful music of different varieties for different tastes, and DJs that will make you laugh out loud with their banter.

The weapons are ingeniously conceived, and you'll find yourself laughing when you see what some of them do. Humor is a big part of this game. But it's not all about humor. There is some serious gameplay here, too. Fun platforming, creative puzzles, RPG-like systems where your character levels up as he gains experience, granting him more hit points, and all of your weapons level-up with use, as well. Also, the weapons can be upgraded with parts that you find hidden around the universe, and some of the weapons can even be custom-painted.

Some of the best gameplay in this package comes from Clank and the new time-based puzzles. There will time-pads placed around the Clock at the Center of the Universe (the area that Clank traverses throughout the game), and you can record yourself doing things on these time-pads, then play back the action simultaneously while doing something else with your present self. In other words, you can set up recordings of past-selves to help your present-self accomplish tasks that would otherwise be impossible alone. The mechanics may remind you of a game called Braid. It's all very-well implements and often ingenious, always fun.

The game itself is rather easy to get through on the lower difficulties, it will be appropriate for children and adults alike who may not have much experience gaming. You'll get to see the whole game without much difficulty. But there are also Normal and Hard difficulties, which amp up the challenge, and seasoned gamers will find them more than sufficient to give them a fun time that's not too easy or too frustrating. This game is perfect for all-ages, it's appropriate for kids as well as adults, and I recommend it highly!

First let me start off by saying if you liked Tools of Destruction (I loved it), stop reading and buy this game, it's quite a bit better, really the same game with a bunch of noticeable improvements! The story is great and the writing is quite clever as usual. This is definitely the funniest Ratchet game yet, getting to play with Quark is worth it on its own! They have a lot of cool new puzzles (During Clank's play time) and some great action with Ratchet. The weapons are brilliant again, you get some of your old favorites (with minor alterations) and some great new additions. Not to mention the voice acting is great yet again.

Now in the interest of keeping this spoiler free, I won't go into Clank's story/gameplay because it will give away some of the fun, but just know that his new abilities and his new responsibilities are tied to the game title and they are very cool!

Ratchet plays the same as usual except for a few new gadgets (hover boots being my favorite) and some awesome new tools! They've also added a bit of a space shooter into the game which is a blast and introduces many "side quests"(Not to mention a great little Quark mini-game). Lots to do in this one guys, tons to collect, it's quite long and the replay is immense as usual!

My advice, add this one to your collection if you've played Tools of Destruction, if you haven't you may not get the story right off the bat and you'll really miss out on a lot, although the gameplay will still be fun as usual. I do suggest playing Tools of Destruction first.

Well that's about it, this game is just what you would expect from the Insomniac team, a very polished, fun, pixar-like experience that will excite and compel you to play forward.

Buy Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time Now

As someone who has played every Ratchet & Clank game (except for the PSP games) and loved them all, I was quite disappointed by this latest game.

-Is it bad? Definitely not! The voice crew, plot, and dialogue are all, as usual, top notch.

-Is it not fun to play? Again, definitely not! The game is short, but is thoroughly enjoyable throughout.

-Is it ugly? Nope, absolutely beautiful in 1080P.

-Are the controls difficult? As usual, they're amazing.

-Are you confused, unless you bought Quest for Booty? Nope, the important parts are described at the opening then.

So, what IS the problem then?

-Gameplay is short. Clank's time puzzles with multiple selves are interesting little brain teasers. Other mini games for clank are dull. Ratchet is in full force again. The hoverboots are fun, it feels like Deadlocked again without Clank on your back for a good part of the game.

-The plot is way too obvious from the start. About a quarter into the game I immediately guessed who the "surprise" final boss would beand I was right. There are some small, minor twists I didn't see coming, but overall, it was easy to discern most of the plot.

-Without spoiling anything, the ending feels half baked. A big question/issue isn't resolved.

-The game feels unfinished. Ratchet was practically amphibious in previous games, he can't swim at all in this one. Where are the Leviathan souls? This game never mentions them. There are numerous aspects of this game that feel unfinished. And the worst part is they created a planet (the Insomniac Museum) to show you all of the amazing stuff they cut out. Pretty much every description is followed by "But we had to rush to get the game out, so we cut it out".

Overall?

If you're a die hard fan and you haven't bought it already, you're going to crack anyways. Just buy it. You'll enjoy it.

If you can wait, I would wait for the price to go downfor the length of the game, it's hard to recommend.

If you've never played Ratchet & Clank before, buy Tools of Destruction first (if you own a PS3) or Going Commando/Up Your Arsenal for the PS2. All of them are greatest hits games and should retail for under $30.

Read Best Reviews of Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time Here

Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time is a phenomenal game which is leaps and bounds above Tools Of Destruction...which is quite impressive because the first in the "Future" trilogy of Ratchet & Clank was no slouch of a game.

The controls are easy, the camera (although sometimes having a mind of its own)complements and follows play smoothly, and the sound (my biggest gripe with ToD and QfB) is fantastic.

The graphics are much improved (may sound odd...seeing as the graphics are purposely cartoony) to the point you can see individual Lombax hairs and subtle changes in the shape of faces for expression. So far (two stages in) I'm missing the comedy bad guys that were present (yet still effectively tyrannical) in the prior two episodes. I will, however, admit to one giggle-worthy moment from Dr. Nefarious.

The weapons and gadgets (still have a TON to get) are truly original all over again and massively fun to use in the creation of explosions and wanton destruction around Ratchet. What is there not to love about a genetically enhanced belching reptile with a hair trigger?

Side missions with Clank still feel a little...meh...but it's good to follow his side of the story and is a welcome break after joining Ratchet in narrowly avoiding death 62 and 1/3 times. Clank has his own brand of humor that works...but works better when combined with a certain wrench-wielding, sarcastic Lombax.

There has been an element of...almost non-linear gameplay added which I have fallen absolutely in love with. I can get to the story when I want and have fun things to do on the side (with very pleasurable rewards) to build me up for story missions.

The radio is a rather creative addition. I keep going back to the techno-trance station while cracking heads and cooking threads with 'ol Mr. Zircon and his smack-talking self while jetting around moons and asteroids in search of bonuses on my jet boots.

I'm rambling now so I will end here by saying that Insomniac has, once again, produced a real gem. Hilarious, action-packed, and a welcome addition to any gamer's library. I wouldn't rent this one or wait for it used, folks...there's fun to be had RIGHT NOW and you shouldn't be missing out.

I'm already hoping for the next R&C game that will have to work to make it above an even higher bar set by Crack In Time.

Want Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time Discount?

I wasn't honestly excited about this game when I picked it up. How many Ratchet and Clank experiences can a person be expected to take in, after all? While I love the series, the last thing I wanted was more of the same. Luckily this entry introduces some ingenious elements into the gameplay. If you played any earlier R&C games, you probably loathe the idea of playing as Clank, with no Ratchet. And it looks as though the developers have grown wise to that bit of truth. Clank may be a great addition to Ratchet's back, but he's just a bore on his own. At least he was before this game. Here you have a Clank who can use bombs to slow time and use recorded clones of himself to progress through challenges. This gives the title a great amount of real puzzle action. Clank also has some great shooter-type challenges here as well. You will look forward to playing with him in this game. The ability to travel through open space and take on side challenges was a great addition too. Even Ratchet has been given new abilities that make this a truly original platforming experience. The numerous ways in which you can customize weapons almost makes this game too good to be true. The series has always been focused on great platforming, wicked weapons, and the best stories you'll find in the gaming world. A Crack In Time is no exception. My only real complaint here is that a few of the weapons aren't as memorable and don't control as well as they did in Up Your Arsenal. But Insomniac doesn't seem interested in making carbon copies of its older games, so we may never see weapon control capabilities that strong again. Regardless, it's a very minor complaint. The combat still controls ages better than other platforming games I've played. There's lots of replay value here, the game is enjoyable for people of all ages, and the platinum trophy wasn't that difficult to obtain. This is one of the best games available on any system.

Saints Row 2 is the sequel to an xbox 360 only open world crime game. It is impossible to not compare this game to Grand Theft Auto 4 but if you give both of them an impartial look, they play very differently. Perhaps the best way to describe Saints Row is the "anti-GTA 4".

GTA 4 was one of the most massive games ever created. The expansiveness of Liberty City can be a bit daunting. The whole game just oozes polish from every polygon. The amount of resources that Rockstar must have poured into the making of the game must have been staggering. If this is the case, why are so many people's copies gathering dust? I can only speak for myself, but the game was lacking one very important thing. The game was just not fun. Despite all the polish, the voice acting, the story, I just didn't enjoy it.

The reason why I say all of this is because Saints Row 2 is almost the complete opposite. It is one of the most fun games I have played in recent memory. Then when you bring a friend along in co-op it just gets insane. Playing with another person over PSN is a blast as you cover each other's back blasting gangmembers, cops, and the Ultor corporation. It's hard not to crack a smile when your partner is speeding down the wrong side of a highway weaving through traffic while your blowing away your motorcycle riding pursuers with a grenade launcher. Not to mention the heaploads of customization options you can make to your protagonist, your cars, your houses, and your gangs. You can invite someone over just to show them your super tricked out rides.

Not that the game is perfect. The graphics are good, but not necessarily great. The colors in certain areas can seem a little washed out. The shooting mechanics could use a cover system a la gta 4, but you can grab anyone nearby and use them as a human shield which works out pretty good as well. Also the game has a plethora of adult situations and very coarse language. I'm not very squeamish when it comes to exposing responsible kids to a some PG-13 or even light rated R kind of stuff, but the thought of playing this game around an impressionable child makes me uneasy and probably shouldn't be done. So if you have young ones, definitely have them occupy themselves in another room or wait until after bedtime to bust this baby out.

All in all, if you even a casual fan of open world crime games, you owe it to yourself to at least give Saints Row 2 a try. Heck, you can even hit me up and I'll play with ya!!! PSN ID RellPhoenix

I must say, before this game came out I was really getting sick of these "serious" game titles like GTA4 and MGS4. I thought both had great gameplay mechanics but I felt like they were trying to beat me over the head with "morality" and trying to make you feel bad for doing immoral things.

Thanks to Saints Row 2 we finally have a title that doesn't take ANYTHING seriously (least of all itself ;) ). The humor is VERY juvenile and the story requires no thought what so ever (though it is very stylish and well-voice acted). But I think this is a good thing. You don't HAVE to feel bad about mowing over civilians and casualties in gunfights. You can just jump right in and have FUN.

The customization is awesome as well. The different clothing options are insane (and FAR more diverse than the overrated GTA4) as is your ability to customize (and keep) almost ANY vehicle to your liking. Also, you quite literally unlock different

clothes/vehicles/fighting styles/weapons for just PLAYING the game. I can't think of any other videogame that does that

The only bad thing I can say about Saint's Row 2 is that it can be taken as VERY offensive in it's portrayal of different ethnic groups. I realize that it's making fun of EVERYTHING it possibly can but be warned if you're easily offended by stereotypes.

In any case Saint's Row 2 is a game that gives players of sandbox titles exactly what they want: Fun without consequences :)

Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of open world games. However, I just didn't find SR2 to be exciting at all. The wierdest part is that I didn't like GTAIV and I did like the action that started off in SR2. But then is dragged and it dragged hard.

Gameplay

Let me say that the game play is really fun. I did enjoy the fighting mechanics. They are easy and really fit on the PS3 pad. Shooting was a bit of a hit and miss but enjoyable as well. I only wish that they had a auto target system, but it still got the job done. Headshots were interesting to come by. The driving was really fun. It reminded me of GTA San Andreas. The cars are all great and the cop cars are really fast. It helps when you are on chases. Taking over helicopters reminded me a bit of the original Mercenaries. It is easy to do.

Story

This is where things got a little wierd for me. Now I know that most games don't always have you doing righteous things, but I really felt bad playing this game. We have all seen the bad guy that wants revenge thing before so this should be no surprise. But I was a little shocked when your partner guns down what appears to be some 60 year old judge. It just didn't feel right. Also, I didn't like the fact that you can't play the game straight. What I mean is that instead of the open design of GTA, where you could do only story missions or sidequests whenever you choose, this game forces you to do a whole bunch of side quests and mini games before it opens up the next story mission for you to go through. I found that to be extremely frustrating especially when you were getting into the main story and then you have your attention diverted to do sometimes pointless side quests. Being a cop with a film crew like COPS was interesting until your umptenth time of trying to get enough points to move the game forward.

Overall

I would say that there are some great online mechanics in the fact that you can actually take someone with you to help out missions during play. That was fun. But overall, the pacing is what killed me. Breaking up what was an interesting story from time to time just to do meaningless tasks in order to continue was really annoying. Especially when you get to the juicy parts of the game. But if you can stomach that, then there is a chance that you might enjoy the game. I would say that GTA might be a better fit.

On thing I hate about this game are the vehicle controls which made it hard to drive without crashing into damn everything. You'll become very frustrated with the vehicle controls in any of the chase missions plus the aiming could've been better.

I found this mic while searching for "throat mics" in general. My main reason for buying this mic above all others was that it had featured a volume control and mute button, something all others seemed to lack.

In case you think that's not so bad here's a little something. If someone says they can't hear you well then you have to turn up the volume. If there isn't a volume control you have to talk louder, which usually ends up muffled or too loud.

I tested this with "Audacity" on my pc first. It showed that while it worked I couldn't hear my voice very well. I had greatest success when the mic was higher up on my neck, as far it could go.

I then tested it with my ps3 accessory settings. It showed about the same as before. I could hear my voice (clearer than when it was on audacity) but I could barely make out what words were being said when I heard the results... Also, while I was testing it on ps3 I had found that it picked up my breathing rather well (clearer than my voice when I wasn't talking). This figures as it is on your throat, where everything going through can be heard. (I haven't tried it, but I imagine that it can pick up your eating quite well too.) Not to mention that if you sneeze, cough, or move it around on your neck you can be heard clearly, so you'd best sit absolutely still (on that note: If you have a neck beard and you move around then you can hear it a lot on the receiving end...)

Pros:

+ It looks good (to me that's a plus)

+ It is adjustable to fit around your neck quite well

+ Long cord (so you can be anywhere in the room and still have it on)

+ Earpiece didn't hurt and it blocked outside sound so you could hear only the voices of other players' mics

Cons:

Lack of volume control and mute button

Muffled voice

Could hear breathing

Long cord (There is no way to keep it out of the way barring the twist tie that comes with it)

Have to sit still/ No looking around (your head has to be stationary so as not to make noise while it rubs on your neck)

In short it works, but is only useful if you're trying to mimic that muffled sound for something... You'd best search for a headset instead of a throat mic.

I bought this as I expected it to be (as advertised) a bluetooth wireless controller for both PS3 and PC. It turns out, it is wireless only for the PS3. There is no way to successfully pair the controller to a bluetooth computer (even using sixpairtool, etc.). It will work with third party bluetooth stacks like those on iOS and Android, but it will not work with the native bluetooth stack in Windows like any PC advertised bluetooth controller should. The device only functions as a PC controller when it is wired, which makes it useless for the reason I purchased it. Time to start the return.

I ordered this controller because it was cheap and I knew that I could find about 30 uses for it. It actually turned out to be more sturdy and well built than I expected based on other reviews, maybe even a little better than sony's ps3 controllers. They've got some weight to them, they fit in your hand well, they don't feel flimsy or cheap, and they look pretty good.

Since the controller is sixaxis based, I can easily pair it with my android tablet and play about anything with it. From emulators to GTA: Vice City, it works just as expected.

Good job!

Okay first thing you should know is make sure you have an HD TV; if you have a very old TV like mine this game won't play at all, if you don't have an old tv then ignore this. You'll just get an error code, 80028f10 meaning that it can't play the game with the current video input/output. What I had to do was buy a little box called MiniHDMI2AV, basically it just converts your very old tv to HDMI. Of course you'll also have to have a AV wire & a HDMI cable; Just saves you money so you don't have to go out & buy a 300-1000 dollar hdtv. Which everyone kept telling me that's what I'd have to do in order to get this game to work, but you don't haha.

Anyways~ so this game has really nice effects, the game play is amazing & the story is in japanese with english subs (in case if anyone was wondering.) The only let down is some stories (arcs) are taken out... I heard that they'll become DLC downloads but those are just rumors, I'll update if that does happen. So yeah, if you're a One Piece fan than I'd recommend this game. You could probably also download it off of PSN it should be out for North America but only for download.

P.S. There is no gore like how there is in the Anime/Manga.

Until I stumbled across these cool wipes I had never thought much about "antibacterial wipes" They seem to be everywhere you turn these days with swine flu and everything else. What I did not know was that all of the products I have been using to disinfect contain harmful chemicals and are bad for your electronics and your skin. Dirt Rags do not contain alcohol, phenol or bleach. They are completely biodegradable, good for your hands and still strong enough to disinfect you electronics. They have quickly become a staple in our household.

As a DBZ fan, it hurts to be this honest, but someone has to do it. I loved this game when I was going through the training, but as I played the Dragonball story missions, I noticed glitches, lagging and if you're planning on completing all of the sagas, there are some things you must know because you WILL notice them.

Pros

~ crazy game detail

it's amazing how you can see the faces of the opponents as you deliver a heavy blow.

~ Added features!

Like instant teleportation (or vanishing) whenever you want. You can't teleport close to your opponent if your far away, thought.

~ moves don't cover the whole battlefield like the other games.

~ Newly added moves called "signature skills" that are the hallmarks of the characters.

Instant tagging with other teammates. The designers have also included a tagging interception ability among other

~ manga-like cut scenes. I enjoy watching them. Also the opening cut scenes can be skipped-there's nothing more annoying than unskippable cut scenes.

~ Never before seen characters

One word. Super Saiyan 3 Broly. Okay, maybe 3 words.

~ Amazing intricate customization system.

It's like a game in a game.

~ many game story scenarios-I think there's one for every DBZ episode where there was fighting.

~ awesome loading game-now you can get money while waiting for your game to load.

Cons

-VEXING GAMEPLAY

At least once every 3 games, the game camera will loose you and your opponent, leaving you to blindly fight yourself out of a corner.

the action is off--

- that is-there is a lag between combos. This is especially obvious when your trying to link combos together.

- Sometimes your melee attacks cause damage, but your opponents don't flinch. This sometimes happens when you're trying to link combos together.

-Online versus:

INSANE online competition that takes advantage of game flaws.

Game is not as universal as previous versions

limited amount of combos

not as many characters as the games before.

-laggiy moves

Some moves have a HUGE lag after you do them.

-Sometimes impossible mission goals.

The game sometimes requires you hit your opponent with moves within a 5 second time span. The problem is-the time to perform these actions, called "perfect actions", comes without warning. So, when the game tells you to use the ultimate attack, you have 5 seconds to power up to the max, find your opponent, and successfully use the attack.

-glitch automatic lock off

Sometimes, your moves don't hit your opponent. You fight right past them as though they sidestepped-but they didn't. This happens a lot when you start combos as your opponent gets up.

-Perfect Actions:

These are moves you must successfully hit your opponent with in a 5 second time span. The problem is, if you're opponent is in the middle of a combo, or dashing away from you, or you don't have enough energy to complete the action-you're screwed. I once had to repeat a mission 5 times.

-objective glitches

Sometimes you will complete an objective, but the game will not show it as completed.

The voice acting is SO synchronized with the actual mouth movement, it is ridiculous.

-Mission replay

If you want to complete any saga past the Saiyan Saga, you're going to have to repeat missions to earn "stars" which can help you buy missions to complete other sagas. This means you're going to have to complete each mission at least TWICE (assuming you never fail) Each bonus objective completed in addition to beat a mission has 3 stars

Trophies--

If you want that platinum-and we all do--

I run a DBZ News Channel on YouTube and for the last 5 months I've been mostly reporting and anticipating what I thought would be the best game ever.

I was VERY disappointed in this game. Now I played the Wii version of Budokai Tenkaichi 3, and after playing this. Wow. I'm disappointed.

PROS:

The graphics are great.

Option to switch to Japanese audio

Plenty to do (modes)

Stages are larger

Online World Tournament can be fun

Super Attack Customization

CONS (ESPECIALLY LACK OF DEPTH):

They took out way too many combos from BT3, it's ridiculous. YOU END UP DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN, USUALLY SUPER ATTACKS. There's just no depth to this game, (there was a bit more in BT3) and I just got bored spamming Super Attacks.

The camera in battle is just really awful, you're going to get horrible angles almost every fight that ruins the fun.

There are way less characters and stages, and some important characters like Ultimate Gohan are gone.

There is framerate problems and unresponsive control problems, doing Super Rising only works like 1/2 the time.

Everything is more stiff and much slower-paced than BT3.

The Story Mode combines the worst elements of BT2 and BT3. BT2's story mode was incredibly long, but well told. BT3's story mode was incredibly short, but poorly told (although it wasn't trying to, which was fine and enjoyable by me). Dragon Battle Collection IS LONG AND POORLY TOLD. To even get the story you have to read a paragraph recap.

Collecting stars by replaying each Story Mode battle 3 times just isn't worth it.

The controls are completely revamped, and in my opinion are not as good.

I have a great internet connection and there was many communication errors while playing Online Mode, although there wasn't lag it was just hard to actually get to a battle.

Playing Online may not be worth it because your opponent is most likely going to spam Super Attacks, which I can't blame since there's barely anything else you can do.

Super Battle Trial is incredibly tedious to complete.

Not enough new things added. Super Rising, Crashing into Walls, 2 new stage destructibility features and a really gimmicky weather change is it.

I'm disappointed in this game. Raging Blast 2 better be awesome, or its back to Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for me.

I wanted a DBZ game for my PS3 and after finding out it had a bit more sagas than Burst Limit, I got this.

The camera angles are beyond terrible. Good luck to anyone focusing on your opponent when you end up near a wall.

Buttons/commands won't work most of the time and that really sucks when you need them the most.

There is only ONE set of combos per character so 9 times out of 10 you'll end up using Super attacks just to finish the battle.

No screams when they power up. wtf it just looks hella weird.

Battles/playing with characters in the story mode idgaf about. (I really could have cared less about Yamcha/Tien/Chiaotzu fighting a dead Ginyu Force)

Not worth replaying the story mode over and over to get stars. (Goku's alternate outfits are not THAT important)

WAIT until this game is 19.99$ or less, or wait for the sequal which is hopefully 100x better

A great game with very few flaws. The combat is fun, and there's alot of content. The graphics are great if you like cell-shading. The camera isn't nearly as bad as some people claim, though it can be bothersome. The trophies are also quite difficult; don't be expecting a platinum anytime soon.

Overall, this was an awesome game. I definitely recommend it for DBZ fans.

One thing you must know to play NBA STREET HOMECOURT: The key of any game is the GAMEBREAKER. Once your trick meter is full you can activate the gamebreaker by stepping into the yellow circle in the center of the court and pressing triangle. At this point, you can freestyle dance/dribble and really make some crazy combos. BUT BE CAREFUL. If you get TOO FANCY you may get your gamebreaker swiped by the other team. That's when things can get really interesting. Overall, this is an extremely entertaining game and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to have an all out, crazy, unrealistic dunk-fest. By the way, that's not a bad thing.

I've played all of the NBA Street games since the PS2 and Xbox versions. I think this is a nice fourth installment. I questioned it for some reason last year when I had it for the 360, but I purchased it for the PS3 and I really like it. It has a very high replay value. Unlike the NBA Live 08 or NBA 2K8, it's fun and not too serious. I mean all the power up moves are like NBA Jam (arcadic). I just think when you play video games they should be fun and no too serious. I like how you can play w/ or w/o a shirt and being a female I like the WNBA option as well. All and all it's a lot of fun, plus now it's like $30 not $60 like when it first came out and that makes it even better.

You cannot go wrong w/ buying or renting this game, you won't be dissappointed.

Thanks

If you're looking for an arcade basketball game, this is it. If you haven't played an NBA Street before, they are some of the most quality arcade basketball games on the market. Gameplay consists of many tricks and maneuvers to gain points and there is a lot of dunking involved. The game isn't realistic to any degree, but is a lot of fun to play co-operatively or competitively. However, the game does get boring pretty fast and therefore is only worth it if you plan to play it casually with friends.

I dont know why so many people have been hating on this game. I think it was a great first NBA Street game to hit the next gen systems. I dont think any NBA Street will be as good as Vol. 2 but, this game still has a lot to offer. In High Def it looks awesome, and although almost all of the tricks and dunks are totally impossible to do in real life, it is still really really fun! Plus now that the price is dropped its not hard to find this game for under 20 bux.. definately worth it!

This is an outstanding controller. Very comfortable to hold and all buttons are in easy reach. It is already perfectly set up for use with the Street Fight IV & the default button configuration. Moves requiring quarter, half & full circle movements are incredibly easy do, thanks to the floating digital pad. And they can be done consistently. It comes a with handy Turbo button which makes characters like Chun-Li & E. Honda especially dangerous.

My only problem with the controller & its floating digital pad is that it may be too sensitive sometimes. For characters that require charge attacks or precise up and down movements of the digital pad for combos, the Dualshock 3/Six-axis controller is actually easier to use & more consistent.

If you have PS3 then you already have the standard controller & I highly suggest you try out the Fight Pads to get the most out of this game. It will probably come in handy for other fighting games as well. I fully intend to use this pad on Tekken.

Yes, this makes SF4 much more playable. A throwback Sega six button pad. The d-pad is not quite Sega style but its pretty good for fireballing motions. However, charge characters who need precise angles to execute like Balrog, you'll find your self doing dash lows, when you want to do a dash strait. You'll also find yourself doing dragon punches when you wanted to do the double motion for an ultra. A little sensitive it is.

On the shoulder buttons, they have a nice click and feel to them. Though, I wish the left shoulder was more like a trigger. The positioning kinda stinks. This button gives me all hell with ultras needing PPP. Your lf index finger needs to "curl" to press this button considering your thumb is on the d-pad.

ON the build quality, its a lot better than people have been complaining about. In the beginning the D-pad was a little "clicky" and would stick in some positions, but you need to break in in a bit.

Look, if you are serious about SF, you need a stick. This pad is 3 times as good as the PS3 pad, but 10 times worse than a stick. I opted not to go with a stick because, though I'm becoming a SF nerd, I want to be able to play with a controller for when the guys come over, not an expensive nerdy arcade stick. But I'm temped every time I cant pull off a complex link combo. The thumb is just not as dexterous as your middle fingers. But the stick is cost restrictive, so this is the next best option.

Overall good, but only if you are slightly more than a casual SF4 gamer but less than an aspiring expert.

*******UPDATE 4/13/2010************

*sigh* I really wanted this to work. But 3 months later of 20 hrs per week play time and the controller started sticking in some buttons, randomly cutting off in the middle of heated matches and lastly, button presses registering incorrectly. (PPP started coming out as MP. wth?)

Horrible quality but alas there are no real options other than getting a nerdy stick at this point..

*******UPDATE 6/22/2010************

Ok, I broke down and got a joystick. This pad really isn't worth it if your putting more than 10-20 hours a week into this game I think. It still is an upgrade from the stock pad but the quality is so shabby with extended use. You'll end up buying at least 2 in your SF lifetime and at that point you should have just gotten a stick. (It will take you a month to get used to the stick)

As a final note here...The Pad warrior tourney players DO NOT use this pad. Many of them use the stock ps3 pad. I think that says a lot overall about this product.

Buy Sony PS3 Street Fighter IV FightPad - Ken Now

After struggling to do all the old special moves I know and love on the usual "split" D-pad of the PS3 controller and getting my rear handed to me, I decided it was time to go "old school" and return to my Sega roots. I'm so glad I did. This controller is not only slightly faster and more comfortable to play with, but the disc D-pad is far easier to use. Well worth the purchase if you're tired of the idiotic arrow buttons or over-sensitive sticks of your normal controller.

Read Best Reviews of Sony PS3 Street Fighter IV FightPad - Ken Here

On a whim I preordered this controller from Amazon earlier this week. Mostly because I felt that anything would be better than the standard button layout of the Dual Shock 3 controller. I have been using the Fightpad ever since I got it in the mail and it is fantastic.

Every design of this controller is focused for fighting games, the directional pad has a smooth motion to it but with positive feedback. Quarter circle and hold moves are extremely fluid and can be performed reliably, which can't be said about the Dual Shock's dpad. The buttons are in an ergonomic position so none of them are difficult to reach. The system buttons are all recessed so they won't be pushed during a battle, and there are turbo functions to ease pulling off some of the more difficult combos.

I have always been skeptical of Madcatz products but these controllers are wonderfully designed and serve their purposes well. Sadly these controllers are not backwards compatible so they won't work with your PS2 or PS1 games. At least I couldn't get it to work.

Want Sony PS3 Street Fighter IV FightPad - Ken Discount?

This controller feels great in your hands. Love the click of the buttons, but the D-pad does take some getting used to. It's so large playing as charge characters...can be more of a challenge than usual. All in all though...if you put in the time...you'll be rewarded.

This game is awesome. I am not a serious gamer. Most games I dont even finish because they start out fun and end up getting ridiculously hard. I love playing all the different characters. I am 51 and using it at the easiest setting. I seem to have the most trouble with spacing the jumps between places.

Unfortunately the starting point to some hard parts is far away and when you die you have to begin at the starting point each time instead of right at the difficult part. It would be much easier and not so frustrating if you could start at the difficult places each time.

You are suppose to be able to save the game where you want as well. Well I haven't been able to and contacted the place that puts it out in an e-mail about not being able to find the save feature. So far haven't heard back.

At the beginning of a new game it asks if you want to save the game, but you haven't played it yet and I don't know what it is actually saving. I went ahead and said yes to it the second time around and when I wanted to finish a game and save it, it told me if I quit I would loose the game. I have been all over the start of this game and can not find a save feature other than a pre asked save to a game. But even with that choice it can't be saved when I choose quit.

I payed $38. for a used one. And have to keep it turned on constantly so I won't loose my place since I am unable to save it.

Some of it is difficult as with spacing the jumps right that a young person would not be able to do.

I believe it says 10+ is fair. They maybe better cordinated than I am. I may not be able to finish it and have to wait until I can find a 10 yr. old.

Most of the game is enjoyable and fun if not for the distance jumping and dieing over and over again!

This was purchased for my grand daughter who would be staying with us for the summer holidays but also as a game my wife and I (both over 60yrs) may be able to enjoy.

As my grand daughter is 10yrs old she is quite used to operating the controls of the PS3 and quickly got into the game. When she asked me to take over while she had a break I actually managed to start using it, well more moving around in circles, but started to get the idea. I think it may well be something we will start to fight over soon. It is great fun.
