I have bought four Mad Catz officially licensed Street Fighter 4 Fightpads. Of those, One needed to be opened and cleaned the first night or two of use due to inputs going haywire, another had to be cleaned twice in rapid succession(first time was soon after unpackaging,) the third flat out DIDN'T FUNCTION AT ALL straight out of the package, and the fourth was a replacement for the third, which I decided to sell without opening.

As for their sticks, I bought a Marvel vs Capcom Tournament Edition stick straight from Mad Catz's online shop, which not only would get "stuck" in random positions periodically even though the stick was centered physically, but would be recognized by the PS3 about half the times I plugged it in(again, this was a brand new item straight out of the box.) The Tatsunoko vs Capcom stick, however, which isn't even TE "quality" hasn't had an issue yet--wobbly buttons, but very functional.

After the MVC3 stick issue, I decided that I had had enough, and am very pleased with Hori's new stick. No input issues, higher-quality plastic casing, a lighter weight without being too light to stay in place, and slightly less sensitive but still responsive buttons make this the stick I will recommend to others from now on. I also encourage anyone unsure about the benefits of a square gate to look them up--it really pays to have an equal amount of area within the stick's range register for diagonals as it does for the four "cardinal" directions(especially for shoryuken motions and other ones that end in a diagonal,) and the difficulty of doing 360 motions and so on is easy to get over with just a bit of practice and a gentle touch for maximum precision in your execution--I'm sure there's a reason so many Japanese pros prefer them, and in turn a respected Japanese company like Hori exclusively uses square gates as well.

I'm far from being a conspiracy nut, but I'm amazed that Mad Catz is so widely preferred by most pro players I watch clips of, and wonder if they're not deliberately making mostly shoddy products but making a few good ones for the pros that constantly endorse their sticks in videos and by using them in tournaments. While it's only anecdotal on my part, it seems likely that rather than a coincidence, my bad luck with four out of five Mad Catz products is a result of bad design, bad Quality Assurance, or both. It would also explain why Hori suddenly yanked the licensing for both UMVC3 and Blazblue for their most recently-produced sticks.

This stick is easier to handle, more reliable, and even significantly cheaper that what Mad Catz offers. Give it a try--I'm sure you'll be glad you did!

I bought this stick because my Madcatz TE round 2 broke. I had that stick 9 months, so less than a year and the joystick stopped working. Sure I could fix it, but the parts to completely fix the whole thing would cost me around $75. Not being familiar with my own skill in fixing it, I figured I would buy a new stick. But this time I opted for this one. And let me tell you, my gaming experience in SSF4AE is better. The hand rest that this Hori stick has is great.

People complain about the start button and accidentally hitting it confound me. Are you all mashing so frantically in your fighting games? If you have precise and controlled button hitting you wouldn't hit the start button. I never once accidentally hit it.

I even modded this stick to insert button plugs in the 2 furthest buttons on the top and bottom row, so that gives me and extra inch of space between my right hand and the start button.

Speaking of modding, when I opened up the case the wires going to the buttons are WAY easier to disconnect than on my TE. I was literally pulling teeth when I was changing out buttons on my TE. But don't get me wrong, the wires to the buttons on the Hori are secure so there's no need to worry that because they come off easily with needles nose pliers that they are in any way unsecure.

This stick is light weight and wide. It has the perfect feel. Plus it has two easy grip handles on the side.

Nothing against Madcatz. I'm just going to keep that stick and fix it as a backup.

I'd give this stick a 10 out of 10 if I could. My buddy so wisely said this stick is like a mini VLX. If you don't want to drop the heavier penny on a VLX, buy this stick, you won't regret it.

the stick is amazing. it is very responsive, works alot better that the Madcatz TE sticks i have used, i see people complaining about the start buttons location but i never once have hit it. in fact you have to be button mashing to even come close to hitting it. on a scale of one to ten this stick gets a 10 flat out. i hope to also get the Street Fighter X Tekken stick soon as well. both would look good together. so if you're looking for a good stick get this or any other Hori hands down.

This Arcade stick is Fantastic and I use it whenever I can, there IS one issue though...

It has a Square-Gate, AKA If you try to move the stick in a Circle, you won't feel an octagon gate, only a square gate...

Other than that, great stick!

This turned out to be a really great buy. My first arcade stick and when i recieved it it was very wide(great for resting your hands imo), had a great weight to it, buttons were very responsive and the stick very stable. Had it for a few months now and even with all the abuse ive given it, still no problems. Ive read from other consumers that they had sometimes accidentilly hit the start button which makes sense given the spacing. But in all honesty i've never hit it accidentally during gameplay. Just practice a little to get the feel and you wont even notice it. Im sure those button mashers will tell you different though. Overall fast shipping, good price, very durable. Would not even hesitate to buy another if i needed it.

This is a must have if you are playing with the PS3 Move a lot. It saves you from having to leave the PS3 on while charging the Move controller and/or the move navigator. This unit will charge either the controller or the navigator. I have put both of my move controllers in the unit at the same time and both are fully charged. So unlike the picture on the package, you CAN put two move controllers (the one with the bulb on top) into this unit and both move controllers will charge fully. Thanks.

Now that I had gotten the PS3 Move motion controller and navigation controller the only problem I had was when the power died out on these two, and while you can charge them through the usb port via the PS3 console I found that a little aggravating since if I'm not playing any games why should I have the PS3 on just to charge these two controllers. Now with this separate charge station for the motion/navigation controller that problem is solved, you can charge either the motion/navigation controllers or two motion controllers since they hook via the usb ports on the controllers and since their for the most part cylindrical there's no difference in their over all shape for any problems with the charge station. The charge is very well done giving a strong connection between the charge station and controllers so there is no worry of not getting a fully charged controller when it's over, and yes while there are more charge stations coming out in the next month or so for $30.00 dollars and to keep you mind at ease I feel most people will find this a very good item to have for their PS3 move gaming console for now...

I was in the market for a dock that would allow me to charge my PlayStation Move controller(s) without needing to use a USB cable. The main reason for this is that I'm not a big fan of leaving my PlayStation 3 on or charging this via a laptop or cable box. After checking out several docks, I decided to go with the one created by Sony. I realize other docks charge more controllers at once, but in my opinion, nothing beats out a first party accessory. This item doesn't overcharge the controllers at all and allows me to use my Move controllers whenever I want without worrying about the battery. I would recommend this to anyone whom is considering a dock for their Move controllers.

I'm going to try and avoid saying what's already been said elsewhere and instead focus on why you should get this charger specifically and not some other charger. Well, those third party chargers you've probably been looking at may be cheaper and they may have more slots, but there are downsides to them. Many of them use mini-USB connections, which might be a concern if you're worried about wearing those ports out. The Sony charger, on the other hand, connects directly to copper contacts on the bottom of your Move controller and uses those to charge them instead.

Also, those other chargers might have more ports, but many of them can only accommodate either the Move controller or the Navigation controller, and not both. This charger's ports can accept either controller type. Finally, there's the issue of third party peripherals in general. If you have as much experience with them as I do, then you know better than to trust them to do as good a job as the first party stuff.

Want PlayStation Move Charging Station Discount?

charges move controllers in about 4 hrs, navigation controllers in about 2.5 hrs. Light on controller blinks while charging, goes off once charging is done, can leave controllers on charger even when done charging. Unlike some other third party dumb chargers I've read about, where you are supposed to remove the controllers when done, from getting overcharged.

Pros:

Smart charger

Small foot print

Uses two charging contact points, that touches the bottom of the controller, makes seating the controller onto the charger easy. Unlike most third party chargers, which uses a USB plug.

Cons:

No USB port, Sony could've included at least one port for charging the dualshock controller

Controller snaps in securely and it gives a better feel for shooters than pointing the controller itself at the screen like a wand.

But the trigger is squeaky and a bit stiff and the grip is too short for me. It's a pretty big grip in terms of circumference, so I was surprised it's so short. I'm a 6'-tall guy with probably average size hands for someone of my height, and my pinky finger just doesn't fit on the grip which causes my hands to cramp up faster, especially since the grip is a bit fat as well.

Bottom line: I don't really care for these guns. Got them at $29.99 with free shipping so they were one of the cheapest options. Better than shooting with just the move controller by itself until my hands start cramping for the poor ergonomics of the design. Would recommend spending $5-10 more per controller if it means a more comfortable experience.

This is an excellent item if you need two pistols for multiple players on a game. Unfortunately this product does not utilize the "Move" button, so that is a huge disappointment when trying to use it with Killzone 3 or any other first person shooter game where the "Move" button is an essential button in the game. Over all the item is very cool, and from what I researched none of the hand pistols use the "Move" button...which in itself is a huge let down.

The shell of these guns seem strong (appears to be plastic). Taking off the top cap in order to insert the controller needed some practice. The controllers fit good.

The triggering is like your typical toy gun. Don't expect real trigger weight or pull behavior. The grip is a good fit for adults with regular size hands. The circumference of the grip seems fat, but my 7 year old can hold OK.

All in all a good value. But if the game can benefit from using the addition of the navigation controller, this one won't hold it. One example is the Time Crisis Razing Storm. On the game disc the original Time Crisis 4 works fine with the move controller on the gun alone, but Razing Storm requires a wireless / navigation controller to move. Either you use the other hand for moving with this gun, or look at other models with slot for the navigation controller.

I was a little reluctant to buy these because they were cheap and you got two. To my surprise they're made exceptionally well. good sturdy plastic construction. the Move controllers fit in very nicely and securely. Although they wont fit if you have the silicone case around the controller. But really, you cant expect that. For the amount these are going for, you would be ripping yourself off by buying the other guns where you get only one at this price

I am really glad that I bought this package. I really had some concerns about this products at first, such as the quality and the easiness but I can easily say that the contents of the package are really more than what I expected. It is really funny when you are playing PS3 Move Games with a bow or with a gun on your hand instead of the basic motion controller...

Only downside is the handle of the sword and the golf kit. They both share the same handle and it is sometimes hard to eject the motion controller from them.

One keynote: when playing with gun, you can get really tired because of the weight... You may want to buy the rifle as well...

This is the worst product I have ever purchased for my PS3. The sensitivity is way too high and the calibration is totally ineffective unless you're within about five feet of the television and dead center. The game (Cabela's) is fun and much easier to control with a regular controller. Don't bother with this thing. It's so horribly made it's not even worth the effort of returning.

This game is like Grand Theft auto in design, with Mad Max thrown in. Only in this world it looks all beat to hell. bridges with sections missing, empty shells of buildings, and radiation pools, radiation affected animals and occasional people. You start out being born underground in Vault 101. Your mother died giving birth to you and the only person left is your father. Life seems fine but sterile down below, until dear old dad ends up missing with only a note. And with the items collected, from dead guards and the "Overseer" (the dudes a pinhead). you venture out into the world described, into the D.C. wasteland. My favorite moments are less with the "President" Loved the Three Dog segments. Especially when he mentions one of two people who have left the vault. (one of them is yours truly). I especially like the phrase "whats actually happening there? Revolution? Vacation? Somebody Fart??? Your guess is as good as mine. Until next time chiiiiiiilllldran!!! (I started busting up) Warning to user. Beware the Fire ants. They produce flame. Takes some ingenuity but you can kill them. That and other side missions should keep you busy for hours. I guage how good a game is by how early in the morning it is when I finally put the controller down. I can see why this game got a sequel. The characters sometimes met coudl have been a bit more thought out. They could be a tad bit cardboard and loaded with cliches.

I played all of the "other" Fallout games. One & two plus tactics. Even played that farce of a game for PS2. This is an awesome game. The "Vats" concept is one of the best ever. After you blow a raiders head off in a spray of eye stems & chunks of brain & in slow motion, mot everything else pales.

One big complaint is that the game freezes up WAY too much. But good story & characters & weapons.

The Genesis was my first video game system growing up. It is a great system with a wonderful library, so therefore anything that plays its games is bound to be at least okay. The GenMobile is, by this logic, an all right purchase. Unfortunately it is far from perfect.

First the good it's cheap by video game system standards, and comes with 20 games built right in. They vary in quality from great (Sonic and Knuckles) to good (DecapAttack, Columns III, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine) to average (Crack Down) to painful (Jewel Master). It's a mixed bag, but there's a decent amount of variety. It can also play Genesis cartridges via a cartridge slot, allowing you to play gems like Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Streets of Rage 2.

Now the bad. This thing was designed very poorly. The button layout is awkward and the reset button is uncomfortably close to the D-Pad. Due to some missing parts possessed by the actual Genesis system, some cartridges won't work, including Ms. Pac-Man and Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers. Toy Story works but freezes when you reach the first-person stage halfway through. Sound quality is inexcusably poor. It's all very unfortunate.

But when it comes down to it, this thing is still a decent purchase if you absolutely must play Genesis on the go. I would however recommend buying a plug-to-your-TV Genesis system, however, and I don't mean one of these new "clone" systems, because they have the same problems as the GenMobile. I'm talking about a real, vintage, 1990s Genesis system. Get one of those bad boys and some of my recommended games and you'll experience gaming nirvana in no time.

RECOMMENDED GENESIS GAMES

-Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, 3, and Knuckles

-Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine

-DecapAttack

-Contra: Hard Corps

-VectorMan

-Streets of Rage 2

-Castlevania Bloodlines

-Super Street Fighter 2

IMPORTANT UPDATE: My GenMobile has gone dead on me. It was owned for less than a year, played only occasionally, and treated like a king. I will not and cannot endorse this pathetic, shoddy worksmanship when my ACTUAL Sega Genesis which I have owned for over a DECADE is still working while this thing decided it couldn't take the heat. I have docked this piece of junk two stars for this insolence. NO LONGER EVEN SLIGHTLY RECOMMENDED! GET THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT!

I own the Retrogen, GenMobile, and the Nomad and they all have their strengths and weaknesses.

I suspect the Retrogen and GenMobile were made in the same factories because they have the same compatibility with games, same sound issues, same build quality, and same "Firecore" menu.

Compatibility Winner: Nomad

The Nomad has actual Genesis hardware inside, while the Retrogen and GenMobile use emulation. I've run across a few games that don't work at all on the Retrogen and GenMobile (such as Super Street Fighter 2). The Nomad on the other hand will play any game, even Virtua Racing. The Nomad uses the same video and power cable as the model 2 Genesis and has a controller port that accepts any Genesis controller for player 2. The Retrogen and GenMobile don't even have a controller port, making them 1 player only systems. They will play most Genesis games, but you might run into 1 or 2 that don't work.

Screen Winner: draw

The Nomad has the biggest screen but being technology from the mid-90's, it is very hard to see. The Retrogen's screen is smaller than the Nomad's, but it's a huge improvement in clarity. It's not perfect, as there is a slight green tint (very noticeable on blacks and yellows) and the viewing angle is not as good as the GenMobile. The GenMobile has an even smaller screen than the Retrogen, but it is brighter and has a wider viewing angle. It depends if you want a bigger screen or more brightness.

Sound Winner: Nomad

Games sound as they should be on the Nomad, where as on the Retrogen and GenMobile they are off pitch. Streets of Rage 2 just sounds awful on the Retrogen and GenMobile. The Retrogen and GenMobile also only output mono sound.

Controls Winner: Nomad

The dpad and buttons on the Nomad are excellent. On the Retrogen and GenMobile the dpads don't pivot and can be pressed in the center, which is annoying. The GenMobile's dpad is actually made up of 2 separate pieces split diagonally. The buttons are ok. The dpads are the main problem. This is not a huge deal unless you are playing fighting games where precise movements are required.

Battery Winner: Retrogen and GenMobile

The Nomad takes AA batteries and drains them in no time. The Retrogen and GenMobile have built-in rechargeable batteries which lasts much longer. The Retrogen comes with a charging cable that ends in a usb plug, which you can charge in any computer or device with a usb port. The GenMobile comes with a wall adapter that you plug into any wall outlet. They both have the same mini-usb port, so you can use the wall adapter on the Retrogen or usb cable on the GenMobile. The downside is that if and when the rechargeable batteries die, you won't be able to replace them.

Portability Winner: Retrogen and GenMobile

The Nomad is very big and heavy, while the Retrogen and GenMobile are a fraction of the size and weight. The Retrogen and GenMobile are very lightweight. They do have a cheapish feel.

Built-in Games Winner: GenMobile

The Nomad doesn't have any built-in games. The Retrogen has 20 built-in homebrew games, which are very boring and you'll only play them once before getting tired of them. The GenMobile has 20 actual Genesis games built-in, which are much better.

Also, the GenMobile is licensed by Sega and has the Sega Genesis logos on the box (as well as a sticker on the unit, which can come off easily). The Retrogen is not licensed. You also get a wrist strap with the GenMobile. The GenMobile even has a better box than the Retrogen (it has magnets to hold the box closed instead of velcro).

Overall, the Retrogen feels like an older version of the GenMobile.

The GenMobile is a decent alternative to the Nomad, but you have to sacrifice a bit of sound/compatibility/controls for portability/battery life/screen quality.

Buy Officially Licensed Sega Genesis Gen Mobile Portable System Now

I bought this handheld because I wanted to play my old Genesis games again, it plays every Genesis game I own. It comes with a charger and holds up to 8 hrs and it has 20 official Genesis games built in. You can even plug in the A/V plug to a television, I haven't tested this yet though. The sound on it is pretty good, its only one speaker so don't expect a Dolby sound system. The d-pad is pretty nice for most games except for Street Fighter 2 and other fighting games, the buttons are also awkward for fighters, but its not a problem if you don't play them. I recommend this system for anyone who misses their old Genesis games and the most important part, you can play it on the go!

Pro: -plays Genesis games on the go!

-20 official Genesis games built in

-extra cartridge slot

-smaller than a Sega Nomad & Gear Gear (it fits in your pocket)

-long battery life and rechargeable

Cons: -button layout is strange

-D pad is not desired for fighters, should of been like a Sega Genesis D-pad

The Genmoble includes 20 games built in:

Alien Storm

Altered Beast

Sonic Spinball

Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle

Arrow Flash

Kid Chameleon

Decap Attack

Crack Down (1989)

First off, I'd like to let the viewers know that I have 3 Game Gears. If one can find a Game Gear for under 20 dollars with working sound, you are very fortunate. Game Gears have 8 bit graphics, and the picture quality fades quickly. Game Gears also aren't very portable. In addition to the crappy blurry picture of the Game Gear, the games cost money. You can find some on Amazon for 1 penny, although you have to pay 4 dollars for shipping. I bought 7 games this way, and most cost more than a penny.

Where was this little gem the whole time? 16 bit graphics and 20 games built-in, and BRAND SPANKING NEW! This sounds stupid, but I feel special owning this. The games are fair to good, while some like Golden Axe, Shinobi III and Shadow Dancer are great. I secretly love Sonic Spinball also. shh! Yeah, the sound really is average to poor, but the gameplay is incredible. I can guarantee you that if you buy this system, you will play it for at least 3 to 4 hours on arrival. You'll also forget about the subpar sound quickly, as I did. I just turned down the volume, and really became involved.

An alternative would be to purchase a PSP and the Sega Genesis Collection which includes almost the same exact games. It's really an issue of finances for some when it comes down to it. (To add: One major advantage with GenMobile is nonexistent load times)

I'd also like to give 2 thumbs up to Classic Game Source Inc. I ordered this product, but without the 20 games (don't recommend) at first, and asked them to cancel it. They canceled the order immediately without sending it. I reordered this, and received the RetroGen with the 20 games in 2 days.

update December 2010I now have 3 Retrogens and they are used on a regular (Monday through Friday) basis by kids. All 3 still work fine. Usually if something seems wrong, plug it in with the included charger, and everything works perfect again. Peace, Lou

3 year update 11/12: This little system is so impressive. I bought 3 of these which get regular use, and all 3 still work.

Well, I was pretty excited to see this. I didn't think that anything like this even exsisted. At Fifty dollars, who could say no! Well, let me tell you. Its not a TERRIBLE deal, but mine is already broken. I havent even had the thing a month. BECAREFUL when loading the cartridges into the slot, thats how mine quit. It wont turn on.

Once again, not a TERRIBLE deal, but only if you have fifty bucks to blow and caring hands.

Cool Features:

Plugs into television slot via AUX cables.

Doesnt require batteries, rechargable included.

Its something INNOVATIVE!

Good Battery Life.

Poor Features:

Too small.

Feels cheap.

Screen is too small.

All in all, I'd have to say....in the end...its probably not worth the money. Save a coulple bucks and buy a used Genesis Console.

I have read so many comments about people having "defective" guitars that I had to write these instructions. First off, Nyko provided very poor instructions but the guitar does work. So before you return your guitar have a read of the instructions below.

Instructions Overview

=====================

To get it to work with Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero you must first sync or link the guitar with the red Pedal. Then turn the select button to Guitar Hero on the Pedal. (Part of these instruction was borrowed from Jim C. from Chicago post. Thanks Jim.)

Detail Instructions to make the guitar work

============================================

1. turn off ps3

2. connect red pedal

3. turn on ps3

4. press Nyko button on guitar (goes into slow blinking mode)

5. press pedal button (pedal goes into fast blinking mode)

6. press Nyko button on guitar (goes into fast blinking mode)

7. make sure both are blinking fast, then press Nyko button one last time

Turn the button on the pedal to Guitar Hero and keep it there regardless of you playing Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero.

You see, Rock Band 2 recently provided an update to allow Guitar Hero World Tour instruments to work with the game. The updates cause problems with the Nyko guitar playing Rock Band 2. You get crazy button presses if you select "Rock Band" on the Nyko pedal. To fix the problem, just switch the button to "Guitar Hero" on the Nyko pedal and the guitar will work for both games. That it.

The guitar is offered at a very good price compare to OEM, especially if you just want to try out Guitar Hero or Rock Band. I just don't like the look so much but it does work well. At $ its a good deal for a new or spare instrument but Amazon did have it on sale for $or cheaper during their Black Friday sale and Gold Box deal. At $ or less it's a great deal. Hope this helps.

For those who went from Guitar Hero then back to Rock Band you'll welcome back the click of the strum bar. But the benefits just begin there. You can now play either wireless or wired, and if you place rechargeable batteries in the guitar you can charge it while playing using the included wire.

Switching between Rock Band and Guitar Hero is pretty easy. Move the switch on the red box (the one pictured in the photo) to Guitar Hero, press and hold the Nyko button on the guitar until the box and the guitar sync up, and voila, you're good to go. Same with Rock Band.

The ONLY complaint I have is the buttons on the neck are very small (and no lower set of buttons). They are more akin to the Guitar Hero guitar, but I did appreciate the neck of the original Rock Band guitar. With everything else this guitar has going for it, it's a small adjustment that is easily made.

I love this controller. I think it's better than the Les Paul, which I think is much better than Rock Band's Fender. It was a pleasant surprise. The strum bar click is predictable and accurate. The receiver has a very cool feature it sports five colored diodes corresponding to the neck buttons that light up as you press them. The "PS" button on the guitar lights up in different colors depending on which number is assigned to the controller. I find the receiver's cable way too short, but that's easily solved with a USB extension cable. Yes, it has a cheap feel to it, but so do the others I didn't expect much from a fake plastic guitar.

We started playing Rock Band at Christmas, and have been waiting anxiously for a stand-alone guitar to become available for it, so that we could have a four-player band, or play guitar/bass together.

We also play Guitar Hero 3, and this guitar (to me) is more like the GH3 guitar than the Rock Band guitar. I actually prefer this guitar when playing Rock Band, as I find it and the GH3 guitar easier to play. I have noticed that my scores are SO much better now on Rock Band, now that I am playing this guitar.

I read another review that mentioned the "clicking" sound, when you strum with this guitar this is the same as the GH3 guitar and if you can hear it, you don't have the music loud enough. :)

The guitar is wireless, and it's compatible with GH3 and RB. You are going to love playing RB with four players!

Before the latest PS3 Update, this guitar was fantastic, I even got it from amazon over a year ago and it was only 15 bucks a guitar, so I was extremely happy. The guitars are solid, the strum bar won't break like the Guitar Hero 4 guitar's.

The only design flaw with the guitar is the neck. I've grown used to it and have big enough hands where it doesn't bother me but if you have small hands the neck size of this guitar may be an issue for extended play. The neck is more rectangular-ish with curved edges than the guitar hero guitars which tend to incorporate a more crescent moon back side to the necks making it easy for people with small hands to hold. Still, this is a minor downfall to the guitar, been using it for a year and haven't had anyone complain about it.

Unfortunately the PS3 is Blue tooth, so any guitar you buy should require a usb dongle, not just these 3rd party guitars, (my guitar hero 3 guitar still required a connection through usb).

I mean, again, this thing is reliable, full functioning, and very easy to get used to. dont let the picture fool you, although it looks extremely cheap. this guitar really isn't, it's rock solid.

Finally, as of the last PS3 update, this guitar is useless. Sony updated their firmware and made the frontman guitars not work, they say there is a goofy temporary fix you can attempt by plugging/unplugging the usb dongle, but I haven't bothered to try that. When a new update is released I can only hope that it makes my two Frontman guitars work. Until then.... Don't buy this guitar yet, since we don't ever know if it will work again.

The idea of a single powered port to charge all three of the Playstation Move's DualShock3/SixAxis controller, Move controller and Navigation controller sounds like a perfect trifecta. The slim external power supply plugs into the wall AC outlet as usual. The Move Controller stands vertical in a depression, allegedly supported by a couple of spring-loaded pressure pads around the circular port. It's not very stable and has a tendency to fall over at the slightest disturbance, such as when plugging the DualShock3/SixAxis controller into its charging port, but it does charge. The Navigation controller doesn't have enough weight to seat firmly in either charge port, and only charges if I stand there and press down lightly on it. (It would appear a second Move controller could charge in the second spot instead of the Navigation controller, if you have two Move controllers and no Navigation controller.) The Dualshock3/Sixaxis controller connects firmly to a fixed mini-USB plug on the device and charges fine (might have been more convenient for that mini-USB plug to be on the opposite side from the power cord, so the power could go off to the rear and the Dualshock controller could plug into the easily accessible front, but that's a small point.)

There are bright LED lights ringing the two Move controller charge ports, which change colors according to charge. That's a useful indicator, but it's so bright it illuminates a darkened room like a night light.

Summary: Charges the Dualshock3 and Move controllers fine, has trouble with the lighter-weight Navigation controller.

The tiny metal contacts that touch the base of the Move controllers that are necessary for charging broke off after only 2 weeks of use. I guess you get what you pay for.

I figured this would be a good addition to my new Move set up. The playstation eye takes up one of the two usb ports on the slim PS3 so you are left with the option of only charging one other controller at a time. This item circumvents that problem by allowing me to charge 3 controllers without the system on.

Like another review stated, the system is kind of delicate to the touch. I don't have the navigation controller so I cannot confirm that problem, but the Move controllers took a little finagling to get on the charger. Once you set it in there correctly with a little force they stay in and charge fine. I found the wrist strap can easily get in the way. It is very handy having the port on the back to charge the dual shock as well.

My main problem with this device is the LEDs used to indicate what state the charge is in. They are very bright and stay on as long as the station is plugged in. If the controllers are charged or no controllers are present the lights are a bright blue, when the controllers are charging they are bright red. This is annoying when watching tv (I placed the station behind the tv to hide it) and when it is dark in the room. I wish there was a way to turn those off or completely remove them. I've come to the conclusion to just unplug it when it's not really in use. There is no real point to have the controllers constantly plugged into the wall or have the lights constantly on anyway.

Overall I would recommend this product other than the slight annoyance with the lights. It is a nice way to charge everything at once and a nice stand for the Playstation Move controllers to stay in while they are not in use.

I read through the reviews and I was worried about the stability of the controllers while charging. I am currently living in a dorm room which should give you a fairly well image of the conditions of which the stand is at. I am able to bump the desk that it is and although the charging station does wobble more than I'd like;however, it is very stable and i have yet to have a controller get knocked out of charging or fall off. I highly recommend this product.

The triple port charge station works as advertised and is an affordable option to the Sony branded charge station. I have been using this device for a few weeks now and I am satisfied with the purchase overall.

Only Complaint: I added an inexpensive outlet power switch in order to keep the unit powered down when not in use. This is a minor issue and is the only reason that I gave the unit 4 stars instead of 5.

I..FREAKING..LOVE IT!!! Looks better than the picture, looks awesome on my PS3 and controllers and have been getting quite a lot of "oohs and ahhs" from friends and family about how cool the skins look. As you can tell i'm Puerto Rican and damn proud of that, my people, the island and of course my country the good 'ol U.S of A. But let's not talk about patriotism let's talk about REVIEWS, lol. Got the item super fast and in great condition. Wasn't difficult to put on (although some patience is required for the perfect fit). Had to cut a little off the right side because it overlapped a teeny bit. But overall i'm very satisfied. I'm looking for a cool design skin for my XBOX 360, will definitely buy from them again.

I was pretty impressed with this game right from the start. I watched the opening credits with my son and the graphics are amazing. The writers of the series wrote the plot for the game and the actors voiced the characters. It was like watching a movie. My son was excited that he was able to make his own character. He chose the style and clothing for his player, and then his character gets to interact with the stars of show. You start off with a few Bakugans and cards, and then you buy more as you accumulate money. You make money by challenging other players to duels.

My son really enjoyed playing this game. It offers plenty of exciting challenges and yet the violence is minimal. It is loaded with over 45 Bakugans, Brawlers, and traps for your kids to encounter. My son had a little trouble reading some of the instructions and I had to help out. But that didn't deter him from enjoying the game and even his sister had fun playing with him. I would definitely recommend this game for anyone with a little boy who loves Bakugans.
