This guitar is perfect for Rockband and Beatles. It is NOT painful at all, if you are a normal sized to tall person. If you have short Oompa-Lumpa arms, then who knows. All of my family have had no issues including the kids.

This controller is great to use. It is quiet and very responsive when playing. I love it mainly because it is a replica of the real one John Lennon used, but it is still very comfortable.

Yeah, I wish this thing wasn't so damn expensive, but I'm a sucker for all things Beatles and I'm having such a blast with the Rock Band Beatles game that I needed to do it. And I'm not ashamed. VIVA LA BEATLES! VIVA LA JOHN LENNON!! Do it if you want. You probably can go with a cheaper controller, but if you're going to go all out and have a wild Beatles Karaoke night, you might as well go full-tilt and get the controllers. You should probably also get some Newcastles and some Beatles wigs, and women and turn it into an all night sex-a-thon.

The Sharpshooter can now be had for $20. at Gamestop and has a lot more features then this! I got this because my Gamestop told me that the Sharpshooter was $40. however it was mislabeled and it came up in the computer later at $20. I used this for Modern combat 3 and Killzone 3 and for Modern combat 3(Not to be confused with Modern warfare 3) it was impossible to use because there were no ways of getting at the PS Move buttons where as the sharp shooter has the buttons remapped closer to your hand. For Killzone 3 you can use the shake to reload and thrust to melee but this causes your guy to make weird motions and get you killed. It's not bad for rail shooters but that's not what it was meant for and the sharp shooter can do that better to! So just get the sharpshooter because if you get this you will be very disappointed.

The game was decent to say at the very least but it was ordinary and like any other third person shooter with a bland story and repetitive gameplay. You are basically in the same surroundings throughout the whole entire gameplay with a snow environment and shoot what appears in front of you to get to your mission objective and get to your next location. The graphics were ordinary and nothing special. I recommend that you wait for a price drop before buying the game because a full price for this game is not worth it. It plays similarly to Dead Space 3 except the shooting and character movements are less stiff but it really doesn't feel any different than your typical shooter games. If you feel like playing a new game or you're bored, I'd rather rent it than buy it with a price like this.

i'm sorry i got this.i thought naively it would be like lp2.well it's all about the big bucks right gameindustry?

you guys are going to make things so that every game is going to seem the same as the others because that's what your damn info-gathering and market-targeting numbers demand.

when i found out there is no campaign co-op i was disgusted. somebody important and of course more knowledgeable than us guinea pigs shouted"LETS MAKE THIS LIKE THOSE OTHER GAMES THAT ARE REALLY SELLING". and so now we have lost planet 3 made to be like dead space or mass effect.and the same thing is happening to other games so that they can be more like the other games-over and over.

it's sad but trying to talk sense into the people in charge is useless-they know what's best right?

-i guess i'll sell it soon and maybe go back to lp2 or some old rpgs.

i apologize for the negative tone-it's not like me,but imaginative and creative games are something i really like to enjoy but all i see now is the homogenization of game design to maximize $$$ for the companies.

-but alas aren't there a zillion kids who want the next game to be just like ((fill in the blank)but it has to have sold tons)

-i guess i'm also a little kid who just wanted more and more of lost planet 2.

i think i'll read "steppenwolf" instead of turning on the the game console now.

I picked it up today after work. I started to play it and was amazed on how it was set up. The controls were easy to get used to for me. I like the setup for the headset. I just got the official headset with socom and it worked great with Endwar. I was stunned how you can use your voice. It was awesome. Its easy to say things but you have to get used to it. I actually played a multi-player with my friend. It was pretty cool. You can play with up to 4 people. 2v2 or 1v1. But if you don't know the basics, your going to get killed online. The storyline was pretty basic, WW 3 with 3 factions, Russia, America, Europe. I prefer America but there all equally good in there special areas. There were some graphical issues but they weren't big. I totally recommend this to everyone. This game is an amazing step towards console RTS's.

Endwar was one of the games I eagerly anticipated when I got my PS3. I am a very big fan of military strategy games and absolutely loved Sid Meyer's Civilization Revolutions. Additionally, the voice command option seemed innovative. Now owning it and having played it for a few months, the game overall has been somewhat disappointing. Granted, I had some good times with it, but the concept and innovativeness quickly begins to get old.

The basic concept is that you are a commander in any one of three armies (Russia, US, or EU). You are given a set of battlefields in which to wage war on against an opponent (Computer or Person, if using online function). Once the battle commences, you request certain units (tanks, artillary, helicopters, engineers) and take these units into battle, either individually or in groups. Each unit has a simple, strategic benefit. For example, helicopters easily destroy tanks, but are no match for transports. Similarly, transports are no match for tanks, but can shoot down helicopters. Consider it a "Circle of Life" concept, which requires a commander to allocate resources effectively against whatever the enemy throws at them. Using a bluetooth headset (either the one provided by the game or your own for a cell phone), the user can give orders to send units to designated locations without any complex button movements.

While the strategic element is a lot of fun in this game, there is no real campaign mode with a storyline, which, in my opinion, takes away some of the fun. All you do is wage one battle after another until either you've captured all the capitals, captured a vast majority of battlefields, or the other side does the same. There's no background story, no "intimidating enemy" to fight. Some may not mind this while others may. For myself personally, I got a little bored.

The voice command system is far from perfect. In this case, I opted to use my own bluetooth headset vs. purchasing a PS3 one, so perhaps the problem lies with this decision. The system for me only works 80% of the time. In cases where it does not, the system gets confused with what I said, most of the time saying "Please repeat, sir". However, in some instances, it will actually give the wrong command. For example, if I tell all my critical units to "Create Group", the system hears "Evacuate" and suddenly all my units are heading off the battlefield. In another case, the system cannot understand when I say "Unit 12", often referring me to "Unit 5". So, if Unit 12 is a critical unit and Unit 5 is a helpless unit, it sure isn't fun when Unit 5 gets slaughtered by an enemy. This gets really frustrating, as you basically have to watch the voice command system every time you talk instead of the battlefield.

Overall, I would give 3.5 stars, but I rounded to 4 because of concept. This game is fun in short bursts, but tends to get old as you cycle through old battlefields and fight an enemy that just seems to "be there". I would advise checking other reviews to see if the voice command system problem is specific to one type of headset, but I think this game is definitely worth giving a try.

I purchased EndWar on the release date and have been hooked ever since. This game is very intense and very competitive during online play. It is really more like a PC game than a PS3 game. First you select whether you want to join the US forces, Europe of Russia. You take control of the different units like Tanks, Choppers, Artillery, Infantry etc and bring them to victory. There are different modes of play like conquest which you have to secure control points, Raid where you have to destroy select buildings or Battle where you fight your opponent until you have destroyed all of his units. You earn points for playing and more points for winning. Then you can use those points to purchase many different upgrades. You really have to be good at multi-tasking to be good at this game because there is so much going on at the same time. You can try the demo out for free on the playstation store to give you a better idea what this game is like.

Wow! It has the simplicity of tic-tac-toe and the complexity of playing multiple chess matches simultaneously. The first couple times I played was without a headset. Even with the headset on the first few times I thought it was going to be too difficult to play and enjoy. There is a steep learning curve but the basics can be conquered in a few days of playing it.

I started with the solo-game. The first section which is about nine battles is also a tutorial. It teaches you the basics of the game. You have to learn what each unit does and how best to use them in battle to achieve your objectives. You also have to learn how to get them to do what you want them to do. That's where voice control comes in.

Once you get beyond the "Prelude to War" missions you then begin battling for World domination. You are presented with a global map and each of the three factions US/Europe/Russia battle each turn for control of more territory. You choose which "City" of territory to go after or you can defend one of your "cities" from attack. My first choice was to battle the European forces that had gained control of a city in Florida. At the end of my battle win or lose the system will show you the "new" global map; who now controls what.

The objectives of each mission so far have been one of two things. You either attack or defend by destroying ALL the hostile forces or gaining control of more uplinks and holding them until the timer expires. That's the tic-tac-toe of it. If there are nine uplinks you have to control 5 then hold til the timer expires to win. You decide which units to bring to the battle. You decide which uplinks to go after and in what order. You decide which reinforcements to call up during the battle. That's the multi-chess part of it. It gets hot and heavy and very dynamic. You are continually assessing the situation, ordering units movements and actions, monitoring battles, extracting units to fight another day, ordering specific reinforcements and on and on, during the battle.

One of the key elements is your command vehichle. Without one you cannot have a satellite view of the battle field; which is the easiest way to command and control your units and know where the enemy is. I lost mine during a battle and lost the battle. I felt blind as a bat.

An uplink is a bunker that is used as a place to be controlled to achieve victory. It can be upgraded to help you use your advanced skills (Airstrikes, Electronic Warefare, etc...). My strategy to date has been to capture the most centrally located uplink and use it as a springboard to capture other uplinks. I'll station my artillery there because usually they can reach hostiles closing in on the other uplinks (tic-tac-toe). The battle can be and is most successfully fought using the satellite view aka sitrep.

There is so much to like about this game. If you like War games and Real-time-Strategy games, you are going to LOVE this one. I am already thoroughly enjoying it and I've still got tons to learn.

One last thing I enjoy. You can get a mission brief before each battle. Pay attention to your intell and objectives. What you have to accomplish and what the opposition is going to throw at you should dictate your tactics and what units you bring to the battle. Also when you transition to the WWIII phase you get to decide what your Battalion consists of from a choice of Battalion types. Airborne has more air units, Tactical has more Tanks, Assault is more balanced and is what I chose. You can also upgrade your units from the currency you earn in battle. You get graded on each mission and earn credits to be used to upgrade.

I have not played online in the "Theater of War" mode yet. Trying to hone my skills cause I'm thinking the competition is going to be tough online.

Really fun game!

I've never played any of Tom Clancy's games so loaded and installed EndWar without any expectations whatsoever and have to admit it's surprisingly fun.

No doubt the troops control capabilities are more limited than a PC-based game due to the controller/headset limitations but when using a combination of both along with the DualShock sensors the command capabilities are very decent.

The different types of campaigns (single player vs AI, single vs single instant death, single campaign, multi campaign...) definitely add to the replay value. The graphics are very good but given the size of the map along with all the pertinent HQ information such as units count, battle engagements, troops health meter... my 47inch TV is nowhere near big enough and I find myself moving closer and closer until I sit close enough to almost use it as a computer monitor.

If you're old school like I am and have enjoyed the Command & Conquer series as well as Dune and would like to try a console-based RTS game you may want to give this a try. If on the other hand you have not played C&C or Dune, have no patience whatsoever, are trigger-happy and prefer brute full-frontal force over strategic finesse, and your game repertoire is composed only of the Call of Duty series then EndWar is definitely not for you. You'll only find yourself reselling this game at GameStop at a loss and post 1-star reviews on Amazon while calling it a "Roll Playing Game" whatever that means. Could it be "Role" instead? Soldiers, let's role!! LOL

I can understand why a lot of people would not like this game simply because there is no way you can hunt on your own. There is only a sotry mode or a trphy chase mode. Obviously the story mode is self explanitory and the trphy chase mode is timed. However, this game is fun, the story mode is great. The reason for this is, is that it doesn't JUST set you up to shoot something, it adds challenge to it, and if you screw up, on many it gives you different ways to accomplish the hunt. Many of the hunts are challenging enough to see walkthroughs on. I've played the story mode there times and every time is different in ways. It's a game worth the try!

Main drawbacks were this kind of irritating guide who pops up now and again giving advice. Also some of the gadgets that the game wants you to employ are a bit much, gps, scent spray, etc. Overall liked this game and viewed against most games it is worth the $. >>> Edit added later. I found the fishing scenarios irritating beyond measure, seemed redundant and pointless. Reduced the stars rating from 4 to 3.

My review is based off the price and what the game offered in comparison. First off I have been a big fan of Cabela's games since this generation of consoles. The power allows tons of cool visuals to be seen and I thought that this game had tons of fun options for every gamers appetite. You have your fps viewpoint and the thrill of hunting down elusive animals without having to kill something in real life. The only thing I detest about this game is the fishing portion. I mean what the heck was the point of making the easiest thing to do in real life impossible to do in a game? Other than that, I was very happy with my overall experience with the game.

This is a nice looking gun, good quality plastic. But neither I nor my wife who loves "Shoot" could use it. The problem with shoot that we had to use the front trigger to press "T" button on the move control. The trigger on the gun requires more effort to press than on move control itself, so my wife refused to use it.

There is also problem with "Time: Rising Storm". In arcade mode we need to reload using the button with triangle. When move control is in the gun it's very awkward to reach for this button.

I didn't try different modes but I'm sure there problems too. So if somebody wants this gun or knows way around these problems please let me know.

As stated by the other reviewers the trigger is in the front, the other one is just for show. Besides that major flaw the gun itself is pretty accurate, and easy to use once you get the hang of it. I gave it two stars because of the trigger placement. If the trigger placement was right I would give it five stars.

Ive been playing ddr for over 8 years and ive had other ddr mats. I bought two of this "newer" kind at 85 dollars a piece including shipping.

Let me explain how these work: Theres metal tape on the bottom of the arrows and when you press down on the arrows the metal tape activates the circuit pad down under. Also it is important to know that all these pads have a metal frame but inside the frame is wood.

Often over the care and maitenance of these pads youll have to take off the arrows (by unscrewing them) and clean the circuit pad because metal tape will get stuck to it. Also you may have to replace metal tape if the pad lasts long enough.

Now for the design flaws: The arrows are screwed directly into the wood; this means each time you unscrew and screw in the arrows your making the wooden holes weaker!

Second major flaw: The wires of the metal pad run over the frame instead of under. This means every time you press down (on the up arrow) its pressing against the wires this looks like a recipe to disconnect a wire.

So who should get this?

Well, with the cheap plastic / styrofoam pads you can play steps up to about 7(on the 10 step scale) on "hard." and these pads usually last FAR longer than the metal pads.

Get this metal pad if you just HAVE to play over 7 steps and dont have a DDR machine in the arcade. The machines in the arcade are usually about 1 dollar for 3 songs. This means for eqiuvalent use on this pad you have to get about 300 songs worth; this may not seem like alot but these pads go quick on the hard songs.

Im going to keep track of how long these pads last; i bought two. Ill update when they break.

Lastly, I wouldnt pay much more than 100 including shipping on mats like these UNLESS your a very heavy player and you can get a good warrenty. Its more than possible to break one of these pads in a couple days.

*12-10-09 UPDATE*

Well... sad to say the first mat had less than 50 uses on various difficulties before ALL FOUR arrows had some kind of crack in them. And no, I don't wear shoes when using the pad. This isn't a matter of ignorance, its a matter of neglecting quality control. Other metal DDR pads I've owned in the past have never had an arrow crack.

So lets review the cons of owning this pad

-Most distributors sell this pad for well over 100 dollars

-Its screwed into wood therefore making it impossible to replace broken arrows without damaging the pad

-The arrows will be damaged. Fast

Sure, this pad is usable after the arrows crack, but the accuracy is going to be whack which is why most people will buy this to begin with. Most of the pads on amazon at the time of me writing this review are around $150 divide this by 50 uses and your getting a functional use of about 3 dollars per song!

My advice? Get one of the plastic / Styrofoam pads. Their far cheaper, more effective, and last longer. If needed, they can also be modded.

Don't get this piece of junk unless your looking for some eye candy.

Do not buy this dance pad. This is coming from someone who has gone through THREE of these pads. They don't last very long at all and that's unacceptable considering the steep price of this product. The design is VERY poor and cheaply put together.

The worst quality of this pad is definitely the arrow panels. They are plastic and they break very easily, and being used for a game that requires a lot of force and stepping, they should be using something of higher quality besides plastic. Within 2 weeks of use the arrows already begin to crack and gradually get worse from there.

I figured "Well since I just got this a few weeks ago and the arrow panels are already cracking, maybe I can call customer support and have them send me some spare arrow panels to replace the broken ones." Not the case. They told me I'd have to purchase the spare arrow panels at about $20 PER ARROW PANEL!! That's $80 for all 4 arrows...and as I stated they're cheap plastic panels that would just break apart a few weeks later after being replaced. So not only is the pad expensive and a poorly made product, you'd end up spending a ton more money on it just trying to keep it usable.

Another bad quality about the pad is the wiring. The wires are placed directly below the arrow panels so every time you make a step on the dance pad you're putting strain on the wires. After enough strain the wire will cease to work all together making an entire arrow panel unusable. Even if one arrow panel stops working, the pad is no good for this game.

Trust me and invest in a $300 pad, the ones made of pure metal. Those panels aren't cheap and should last MUCH longer.

I'm serious, avoid this pad. You'll regret buying it within a month of buying.

Buy PS3/PS2 Tournament Metal Arcade Dance Pad Now

This is my first metal DDR pad. It was a wonderful step up from the cheap plastic pads. Great sensitivity, very stable. My only problem with this product is that the arrows cracked the second day I had the pad. I'm a excessive DDR player, playing at least an hour and a half a day. I was expecting the arrows to crack at some point, but not two days in. I'm really glad I bought this product. But if you play as much as I do I recommend that you just save up for a full metal pad, so you don't have to deal with cracking.

Read Best Reviews of PS3/PS2 Tournament Metal Arcade Dance Pad Here

I have had a lot of frustration with this product up until recently and this is why.

I purchased these Dance Pads believing they would work with the PS3 straight away (due to the title saying PS3/PS2 Dance Mats!) well I can safely say they definitely did not work straight away.

It wasn't until I opened the product did I see that my mats were for the PS2 they could not physically connect to the PS3 at all. So it turns out YOU NEED A PS2 to PS3 DDR Dance Pad Converter in order to play with this product. If you buy this for your PS3 IT IS ABSOLUTELY 100% NECESSARY that you also buy an adapter for each pad you buy.

Once I got it working it was worth it at least! Without the initial hassles I would probably rate this product 5 stars because once they are working they are a lot of fun! The first thing I noticed was the pads size. It is a perfect size. It is actually a bit bigger than most Arcade Versions of DDR, but still small enough not to take up too much space in your house.

The quality of the pads are very good. I was quite cautious to use it at first but I have been dancing on it for hours and its fine so far. Apparently this version of the mat has been tested to withstand enough pressure to ensure they last long.

The pads seem to be very tough and made out of a good quality metal. The bottom is non-slip too for easy use on tiles.

They light up as well which is an added bonus.

One weird thing is that the X and O buttons are on the wrong sides to where they would usually be (in Australia anyway) but that doesn't really matter.

I would definitely recommend buying the pads to enhance your game play experience with DDR!

Want PS3/PS2 Tournament Metal Arcade Dance Pad Discount?

The pad came in wonderful condition. Had to tighten the screws but that's normal. The pad works fantastically; however the back arrow button does feels a little weak but hasn't broken. I have beaten most of my high scores already and can play on Heavy Mode now with ease; where with the dinky little cloth-type pads I could only play a few Heavy songs without sliding all over the place like the floor was coated in grease. I'd certainly recommend this pad to my fellow DDRians. :P Happy dancing to the beat of your favorite song!

Has plenty of room for my fat Ps3 and all my accessories for it.

First off i'm writing mostly about the goggles. I have to say I was very skeptical about them and didnt expect much, I do this so I won't get let down but when I turned them on. It was amazing, totally worth the money at 150, I don't know about now since their being sold for 100 dollars more but they are really cool. You can see in abosolute darkness, I was amazed. The game itself is, well come on, COD 4 the II. I like games that deliver what the hype is promising. And yes I even stayed up till midnight to get the game for my kid brother on his x-box. Happy Birthday Adrian. P.s. The goggles need 5 double A batteries to work, but it works like no other.

The night vision really works. It's a little diorenting because your depth perception is faulty while wearing it. The darker it is the better the goggles work. It has stealth mode and long range mode as well as black and white mode or green mode. Stealth mode is really short range but the goggles don't give off any light. In long range mode the goggles give off a little light but you can see much farther. I bought it just for the goggles and I am extreamly satisfied with them.

If you're looking to play fighters and shmups on the PS3 and PC with something better than a pad, but don't have a lot of space and/or don't want to spend too much money, this is a great deal.

As you might expect, it simply can't compete with the Sanwa and Seimitsu sticks in sheer performance. But those sticks go for over three times the cost of this one. The joystick and buttons are a bit stiff, if not overly so, and the buttons have to be depressed a bit further than I would have liked. They're perfectly serviceable, though you wouldn't want to bring this stick to EVO anyway. I was happy to find that the joystick does not bounce all over the place like a Happ when returning to center.

I normally use a full-sized stick, but I did not find the small size to be significantly uncomfortable or difficult to adjust to. It is very light, so you will probably want to use it on a table or desk instead of your lap.

I would not recommend this for serious tournament players, who should make the investment for a proper Sanwa or Seimitsu stick. I would definitely recommend it to people who only play fighting games online, or in casual matches with friends.

IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS STICK HAS NON-STANDARD SIZED PARTS, AND THE BUTTONS ARE SOLDERED TO THE BOARD. THIS MEANS THAT YOU CANNOT SWITCH OUT THE JOYSTICK AND BUTTONS FOR DIFFERENT ONES. Sorry, modders.

Just got mine in the mail last night the base, joy stick and buttons are about 50% smaller than a pro tournament stick but this is a great purchase for the price $39. My other fight stick was $175. Now I have two fight stick to play some serious 2 player @ home without having to play online I was able to pull off all moves (Street Fighter 4..KEN..) being this is made by Hori this stick is mini but feels very solid and very well built just might have to get another one after I get the Hori fighting edge stick!!................

Update to my review: I was noticing it's very easy to pull off shoryukens (dragon punch) on this stick, also really easy to pull off revenge combos you know (fwd, dwn, fwd, dwn 3 punch or 3 kick buttons) I was comparing side by side with my 'Street Fighter X Tekken Fight Stick' (the one that cost $175) This Stick Actually Has A Smaller Sqaure Gate making these types of moves way easy to pull off also I place this stick on a glass table when I play and it is like its glued to the table it does not shift and move around....

I was looking for a secondary stick for when I have when friends come over to play or if I travel to someone's house and this stick fit the bill perfectly. I use a Hori Fighting Edge as my main stick, but it bulky and a little heavy so I rarely take it out of the house. The Fighting Stick Mini is small and light so it's easy to toss into a bag with a couple games, or store in a drawer when no one is using it.

You'd think with that with its small size the performance of the stick would suffer, but I find this stick performs very well! The buttons work fine, although it took me a couple rounds to get used to the smaller layout, but the stick is very responsive and I have no trouble pulling off any moves with it. It's also a very comfortable controller to use despite its size. I find it works better if you play on the table or put a board or book in your lap to create a solid surface though. It's light but the build quality is good and doesn't feel cheap. It also has some turbo features that can come in handy if you use it to play shooters and some arcade games although I never use them for fighting games.

Overall a really cool little stick that is portable and easy to store yet packs the punch of its bigger brothers. Great to have if you need a spare stick for multiplayer, or if you want a nice little stick but don't have the space or budget for something bigger.

This thing is tiny like its almost the same size as both of my hands. Its built with Hori parts which don't feel cheap but you wont be modding it any time soon. The buttons feel reactive and well built. They are small though maybe about the size of a nickel each The gate is a square gate but its a mini square made custom for this stick so it feels a lot like an octagonal gate. A lot of people think dragon punch motions are easy with this stick and I agree I used to play a friend who had multiple tes and could never dp as consistently as with this stick. Half and full circles on it are hell though. But its still a great beginner stick.

Pros

-Small/portable

-Decent parts

-Ps3/Pc compatability

-Decent length usb cable

-Guide button

-Turbo

Cons

-Small(you can bump your own hand, and like many other reviewers say it wont stay in your lap because of its light weight unless you place it on a surface)

-Small gate (Messed up a lot of inputs by thinking i had more room than I actually did)

-Very Hard to play on at times

-No cable compartment

-The no slip grips on mine dont really grip the table to prevent the stick from moving but some others might

This is a great stick if you have not used one before and are unsure if you would want to use one for games. It lets you experience the feel and layout of upper level arcade sticks without the huge price tag. I have had mine for a few months and have found that I really like it and it made me enjoy fighting games so much more. The buttons have started to stick a little now but it still works, another reason why this is only good if you are unsure of an arcade stick. The buttons on this unlike other higher priced sticks are soldered on so you can't remove/replace them without know how to solder, so they are staying sticky for me since cleaning didn't work. I want to get more serious in games like SSFIV and Injustice so I am going to be buying a better stick soon. Bottom line, if you know you'll like a stick or are already into fighting games and want to advance on, get yourself a better stick, The madcatz have gone down in price to about 100 now so that isn't too bad. If you haven't used a stick before or are new to fighters, go ahead and get this stick but be prepared to buy another if you like it because this one might not last so long like mine.

Ones I am contemplating on(only $100 and have authentic arcade parts):

Don't listen to the haters, this is an amazing game. I ride dirtbikes in real life and have played every Mx game since ATV Offroad Fury on the PS2. People are bashing this game, saying that it is impossible to control when in reality, the Reflex system adds a whole new dimension. Think about it, if you threw your leg over a motorcycle in real life, would you be racing at a pro level in 5 minutes? NO. The learning curve is steeper than it has been in the past, but once you get the hang of the new controls, you will find that the motorcycle actually behaves alot more like it's real world counterpart. This challenge makes it feel that much better when you nail a long rhythm section in a supercross race, or rail a freshly dug berm in a national. There are fewer tracks and freeride areas than in previous games, but the thought and time that went into these aspects are mindblowing. The terrain deformation is AWESOME, its so much more realistic that as a race goes on, lines in the track change, it keeps you on your toes. My only real complaint is that there is a pretty heavy emphasis on winning truck and buggy races, which is an obvious attempt to bring in some of the Motorstorm / Dirt fans. Rainbow should lose this stuff for the next version and put all their focus onto perfecting MX/ATV racing. Overall, it is a game that I will playing and perfecting for a long time, and it will only get better when downloadable tracks become available. Don't buy into the people that hate this game, they just have short attention spans and need immediate gratification. If you guys like the last game so much, you should keep playing that while the rest of us move into the future of MX racing games.

When I first popped this game in, I was amazed and played for several hours at a stretch. I was happily carving around on my tricked-out KTM, enjoying the races and jumps, free-rides, and everything else.

After a couple of days, you begin to see there's not a lot there. There aren't many tracks. There's no semblance of an official racing series or a real "career" mode.

Only KTM bikes have been licensed for the game. There are other bikes bearing the distinctive color schemes of other manufacturers, but they have made-up names.

The customization and tuning of the bikes is very simplistic. You simply tune the bike on a sliding scale between hard/soft suspension, acceleration/top speed, soft/sticky tires. The custom parts you can buy mean little they all have the same values and do the same things, except for the look.

To complete the game you are forced to use buggies, sport trucks, etc. The choices for these vehicles are very limited and these events are uninteresting. Like most people I was only interested in the MX aspect of the game.

Another major annoyance is the frequency with which the computer riders will crash into you and knock you down. It happens far too often that you'll just be running your race and a computer rider comes from nowhere and crashes into you at speed that would cause very serious injury. Due to the lack of realism, you can still win the race often times even with a few crashes.

Next time: give us meaningful customization and tuning, make the rear tire look like it actually spins when you ride, and give us a meaningful career mode instead of the glorified string of single races.

I'd give this one 2 stars out of 5. If you play the demo, you've essentially played the whole game.

This was the greatest gift I gave this year! My husband has really enjoyed it. Loves the graphics and how realistic it is. Way better than the game before this one!

I ordered this game for PS3 and received an XBox copy. I had to call Amazon and send it back. I ordered it again hopping it was a mix up and the second time I got another Xbox copy of the game. It's very inconvenient as I live in Japan and it takes awhile to get here, even with Prime membership. I don't know who is to blame for this crap, Amazon or Isogamer, either way, save yourself the frustration if you're looking for the game on PS3

I picked these up for my old PS2 and they work great. They really bring out the picture on my 32" Samsung LED TV compared to the composite cables (Yellow, White, Red).

Had to mess with the settings in my PS2 to get the best picture but there are instructions on Google for doing that.

i am using this cable for the ps2 and so far its working amazingly, one piece of advice though, when you buy this and plug it into your tv you have to watch out which red plug in you plug into, i pluged everything up and when i turned on my ps2 there was a buzzing sound and the color was awfully dark and green, i almost flipped out. But all i had to do was switch the two red plug ins and viola! it worked beautifully, its confusing because the red plug ins look exactly the same

Basically if your a kid between the ages of 6 and 10, enjoy watching Ben 10 and like playing video games, you'll enjoy this game. The eight year old, previously a Thomas Tank Engine fan and now a devotee of Ben absolutely loves this game, spending hour upon hour playing it. Simple puzzles are challenging enough, alien fights are engaging, he has fun and that's what counts.

This game is pretty good, but it has its flaws.

You cannot transform your alien to ultimate whenever you want, although having them. Some levels and boss battles can be painfully hard, but, this is a puzzle-action-adventure game. This is made for kids about 8-10; however if you want to get an easy platinum, just rent it. You will save your money. If your brotherson is a fan of Ben 10, and does not mind repeating levels all over again then just go ahead. I also experienced lag in the music while playing, and some freezes.
