The Rock Pedal is a fantastic bass pedal. I spent days going over review after review of the "big three" (Omega, Destroyer, Rock) before finally settling with this one. As of right now, it's been a few weeks and I must say I'm pretty happy with it, although my sentiments weren't the same when I first got it.

First off, let me say, if you're not an experienced drummer or if you have no patience, don't bother trying to adjust the pedal. Jordan, who I'm guessing is the RP inventor, makes youtube videos on how to adjust it, and he whips right through it "oh it's easy, you just do this, this and bam you're done". The problem is not everyone has adjusted a bass pedal, so after seeing him do it so easy while you spend an hour trying to find the perfect calibration gets pretty tiring.

So after the first time of getting it calibrated, I was ready to see how this thing could handle a song with lots of heavy pounding bass, so I chose Indestructible, which is one I had gold starred before getting this pedal. Much to my dismay, apparently I didn't tighten it enough and it just sank to the bottom and never came back about halfway through.

However, after spending another good amount of time getting it calibrated, and making sure the bolts are super tight, it's been absolutely perfect. It's been a couple weeks now and I have a roommate who loves to play super hard and stomp the hell out of it for whatever reason and several other friends of mine have used it, loved it and had no problems. It took some getting used to but now I could never go back.

PROS: Unbreakable no-contact sensor, heavy duty construction, DOES NOT SLIDE on carpets, very willing and supportive customer service team.

CONS: Initial adjustments were incredibly painstaking but in the end, totally worth it.

I purchased this pedal to replace the stock ION Drum Rocker pedal. This pedal is quiet, responsive and completely adjustable. Hands down the best pedal you can get for Rock Band 1&2.

It takes a little getting used to compared to the stock Rock Band plastic pedal or the stock ION Drum Rocker pedal since it takes a little more pressure to push the pedal down. This is not a bad thing at all. You can adjust the pedal and make it easier to push, as well as the pedal height. This means you can shorten the distance between the pedal and the sensor. Also, another big plus with Rock Pedal is the people behind it. I have emailed questions to them and gotten immediate responses.

I cannot recommend this pedal enough. If you're frustrated with loud or broken pedals, missed notes or if you just want a better drumming experience, this is the last pedal you will ever need.

I've had this pedal for approximately nine months. I've broken two springs because I like my tension high so I can rest my foot on the pedal without it triggering. It is hard to set the tension high without putting too much stress on the spring resulting in it breaking. Be prepared to essentially take your foot off of the pedal between each beat.

There is a magnet in the bottom of the foot pedal that, when pushed down, triggers the pedal. This was originally glued in and it just fell out of mine. Not a big deal I just glued it back in. The pedal is built tough though.

The pedal has a 12 month "no bs" warranty. I asked for a spring replacement four weeks ago. It took him a week to respond and he said that he had a back injury but will immediately mail it to me. Well, three weeks later I still don't have it. I e-mailed him again last week and I have not heard anything.

In conclusion, the spring tends to break when set to a high tension. My magnet fell out but I just glued it back in. Luckily, I didn't lose it. The customer service was not that great considering that it was a "12 month no bs" warranty and it was heavily advertised on their website. I do not know if there is a better substitute as this is the only pedal I have tried.

I happen to own this very pedal for my first bass pedal ever on my real drum kit. While it certainly is a HUGE upgrade over the rubbish stock pedal that comes with the RB2 kit, it is also one of the worst pedals you can buy for a drum kit.

Pulse is an entry level drum hardware company, and they don't exactly have a reputation for pedal feel. If only they'll make a peripheral out of the DW9000 pedal!

Thus, if you've NEVER dedicated any long term investments in real drums before, this pedal will serve you well. If you're an experienced drummer looking to replicate the real deal experience on Rock Band, you're in for a disappointment!

I bought this pedal as a replacement for the ION Drum Rocker. I cannot yet speak to its long-term durability, but my initial impression of it is great. High quality look and feel. Fully adjustable. Quiet.

Quick and dirty, this is what you need to know about this adapter:

[*] I experienced some initial trouble using my PS3 controllers to play PS2 games, but have since found that they work for most games. So this USB adapter is NOT necessary to play all PS2 games on your PS3.

[*] This DOES enable use of your old PS2 analog controllers to play MOST PS3 games. However, any PS3 game requiring the Sixaxis functionality of the new PS3 controllers and some that require R2/L2 sensitivity will not function perfectly. Also, since PS2 controllers do NOT have the Playstation/Home button that PS3 controller's have, you cannot easily exit out of games to the PS3 menu screen as you can with PS3 controllers.

[*] This DOES enable use of your PS2 analog controllers to navigate the PS3 menu screens, PSN, internet browser, etc.

[*] This is NOT fully functional with your old PS2 Guitar Hero controller. It is partially functional, but that's not good enough for GH.

[*] This IS functional for using MOST PS2 accessories (eg, steering wheels, arcade sticks, DDR mats) on your PS3. But your device may not work 100% which is likely an issue with your device's compatibility with the PS3, not this adapter.

[*] You can order this directly from Eforcity, the manufacturer in CA, for a total of $6.25 through Amazon. Mine was packaged well and shipped very quickly. It arrived in just 2 days.

[*] A Playstation 3 Dualshock 3 Wireless Controller costs $50 & the 'old' Sixaxis cost ~$40-45. A PlayStation 2 Dualshock Controller Black only costs $20 + $6.25 for this adapter. Even a nice wireless PlayStation 2 Cordless Action Controller only costs $30.

I am very happy with the two eforcity adapters I purchased. They are small and simple, but they allow me to play old PS2 games on my new PS3 as well as use my old PS2 controllers with new PS3 games.

Hope this information is helpful. Please click 'Yes' if it is.

A whole lot better then spending 50 bucks on a new ps3 controller because the ps2 controller works well on most ps3 games. Now I can play my friends without dishing out much cash at all. Just can't use 6-axis obviously. Also some games might not let you use the ps2's L2 and R2 buttons because the pressure sensitivity may be different, but I've only experienced that on one game so far.

PS2 Controller Adaptor for Sony PS3

I originally ordered one because it was so cheap and figured if it didn't work oh well. I wanted to be able to play with three other friends on call of duty, but a new controller would cost $55. With this I was able to use an old PS2 controller and this $4 adapter saving a lot of money. It works perfectly even L2 and R2 (in call of duty at least) great way to save money!

Unfortunately, this adapter did not completely work for me. I bought it for the sole purpose of allowing me to play PS2 DDR on my PS3 (I have the old one that is completely backwards compatible). It would not recognize stepping on two arrows at the same time, which is essential for playing DDR. I checked the dance pad on a PS2, and it was not an issue with the dance pad so it had to be the adapter. I was hoping this would work, as another reviewer said it did, but somehow it just didn't completely work for me.

Just a note that doesn't contribute to my rating of the product: I e-mailed the seller for a return, BargainCell in my case, but they never replied to me. However, I went through my personal e-mail so I will try again through Amazon. So I still have this adapter that I have no use for and am out $7. EDIT: The seller eventually e-mailed me back and refunded me even though I thought it was too late.

I wasn't too sure when I made the purchase that this controller would work, for the cost was inexpensive. I am glad to say that i can now use all my ps 2 hardware on the ps 3 with no hesitation. WAY TO GO!

The fan works great and it's very quiet. You can hardly tell it's there except for the usb connector, wich by the way it's a pass-thru connector so you still have the port free. You can adjust the speed on it, but thruly I've never messed with it. I simply put it just over half the speed and it keeps my playstation way cooler and there's no noise from the fans.

It takes power from one of the usb ports. At first I thought they should have made it 110V so you don't have the connector on the front of your ps3, but now I think they made the right desicion. This way it turns off when you turn your console off and comes on when you turn it on so you don't have to even think about the cooler. The only down part of it, at least on mine, is that it doesn't snap very good on the console. But since you're not moving your ps3 up and down it stays fairly well.

Over all, great product.

Fallout 3 fans won't be disappointed!

Game starts off brilliantly, it sinks it's hooks into you and doesn't let go.

In New Vegas you'll find wide open spaces much like Fallout 3, however the areas are more lively and interesting. The people you come across seem to have more depth than those in FO3. The main quest line in New Vegas is much larger than FO3's and isn't nearly as linear and the story telling along the way is just superb. The choices available run the course of the game, not just towards the end, and every choice is important and carries consequences or rewards. The weapon modding system is fantastic and really allows you to tailor a weapon that is right for your character, whether it be a hardcore mercenary or a silver tongued trader. The VATS system is very crisp, the companion feature makes it much easier to manage and utilize your friends.

Customization of your character is still somewhat stale with no real changes from FO3 which was a little disappointing however for some this could be considered trivial. With my experience so far the game has remained stable, I've experienced a few glitches and one crash so far as well as noticing a few bugs. Mainly NPCs falling through the floor :(

Overall any fan of Fallout 3 will enjoy this game very much. Even those who have never experienced any of the Fallout titles will enjoy hours upon hours of fun and enjoyable gameplay!

This edition of the Fallout series is great. It keeps all of the things that made Fallout 3 awesome, fixed a lot of the things that were annoying and added a lot of things that were missing. Some of the great things added are the use of iron sights, weapons mods, combining certain things to make meds that have different effects and the character interaction wheel. New creatures are great. I love that not all of them are hostile to you initially unless you tick them off by trying to harm them. The reputation system is great and can have great benefits in certain areas. If you loved Fallout 3 as much as I did, you will absolutely love Fallout: New Vegas!

The collector's edition is mediocre though. The hard cover comic is neat with great art inside. The Lucky 38 chip is a little underwhelming and I wish it looked like it does in the first pictures we saw of the CE. I really expected a heavier, chromed coin but this seems to be a cheaper tin-like coin. The poker chips from the different casinos are very well made. They are made exactly the same as real poker chips from real casinos are made. Heavy and good quality. The cards are nice too though being what they are, I wouldn't use them for actual games. They are much better quality than the cards Rockstar had made for Red Dead Redemption. Overall, it's a toss-up if the extra money was worth the collector's edition goodies. Very few CE goodies are worth the extra cash. I mean, look at the DeadRising 2 CE. A cheap pen that looks like a syringe and a band-aid? The Fallout 3 survival edition seemed pretty cool but the Pipboy that came with it was worthless and broke easily. The CE for Fallout 3 was better with a bobble head and a lunchbox that looked like the ones in the game. I wanted something like a laser pistol that made the sound effect like the one in the game. Anyway, it's really up to you if you think the CE is worth the money. I'm a sucker for Collector's Editions of games...that's my fault!

I don't often buy collectors editions since they rarely appeal to me. With the Fallout: New Vegas Collector's Editioni just had to have it... I have always loved the Fallout series(despite the bugs)

Contents: The chips are high quality with the look and feel of authentic casino chips, the cards are well illustrated, the comic is very well designed & written, and the DVD will be interesting if you enjoy the behind the scenes stuff. The details are fun... i found that the Platinum chip has Morse Code on it... I'll let you find what it says.

Price: The retail price is great i think @ $79.99 As we all know Collector editions of games are usually priced in the $100.00 range. Would i have liked more in the set? For sure! But don't we all want more?

Game: I have read the reviews on the regular edition for all platforms and i understand that some are upset that the game has a few bugs... i have encountered a few but nothing major that makes me hate the game. I got the game knowing it would have bugs and deal with it. I have auto save so i am covered in-case anything happens that i need to restart(have not had to reset my PS3 yet)

The few hours i have put into the game haven't been exciting... but it's the beginning of the game! The usual BS... learning the new features, designing your player, meeting the people in the town, etc...

The look of the game is different but still very comfortable because the look is the same as Fallout 3. The colors and vegetation really add a pop to the game.

Creatures: Now i haven't encountered all of the creatures in the game but i looked at the variety in the game guide and they really expanded the creatures. For example Deathclaws have multiple versions, all having a slightly different look strength( don't want to spoil the creatures) I know Fallout 3 had different versions of some creatures but not to this extent.

***Now i will add more to this review after i get farther in the game. I can't really comment on most areas since i haven't had experience with them in gameplay.

In a game this huge bugs are expected, they were in Fallout 3, they were in elder scrolls as well. The difference in Fallout New Vegas is the quantity and size of the bugs. In the arena the monsters won't fight and lock out all quest options, I had a group of Deathclaws pop in right in front of me, walk into the strip and oh wait the game froze. Guess I better load my auto save.....oh wait that's corrupted. Suffice to say that every time I turn around there's a problem (p.s. this is post patch)

I really want to love this game, I love the new companion system, the gameplay hasn't changed from fallout 3 and I couldn't be happier about it. The world seems as large and rich as other Bethesda offerings but I can't spend 60+ hours in a world this broken.

Sorry to say but I'll be waiting to read reviews before I purchase another Bethesda game.

Edit 1/30/11: I've finally came back to the game. I downloaded the new patch and the game is "playable." I can play more than a few hours without it crashing or a game breaking bug. Still not worth 60 dollars. I truly hope that the Elder Scrolls 5's new engine will get rid of the many bugs in this game.

Edit 7/7/11: Played the game on the Xbox 360 & although I experienced some bugs, I didn't run into any major bugs. Once that problem was solved I enjoyed the game so much I bought and finished all the DLC that's out.

Want Fallout: New Vegas Collector's Edition Discount?

Bought the collector's edition because i looked forward to the game and the little knick knacks that came with it.

Started to play the game, no problems ..in fact quite amazed by the scenery. Then i spoke too soon! Game started to stutter every so often and when going between loading screens..BAM crash! Alright i said..no problem...restarted the game. Played a bit more, got engaged in a battle ...BAM another crash! I figured eh what the hell... 2 crashes in 2 hours, can't complain..lemme play some more. Then it crashed again an hour or so later.

I mean seriously Obsidian needs to do their job and test this crapware before they make us their unofficial alpha-pre-beta testers for $60!

And for those that say "oh you must have an old ps3" "stop placing the ps3 in a confining place" my ps3 is the new 120gb version AND it has plenty of ample space.

So my first impression of this controller was that it feels cheap. The plastic housing just feels light and cheap, not at all like the Sony controller.

This unit also doesn't include bluetooth, so you loose the ability to power on your PS3 like you have on the normal controller.

It works a lot like the PS2 wireless controllers in that you plug in a USB wireless transmitter into the PS3 and play through that.

It does have several nice options. The turbo selector allows 3 different rates of fire, along with the option to have auto fire where you don't even have to press the button. That is a great option for any shooter. There is also a sensitivity adjustment for the analog control sticks. I also really like that it uses AA batteries since I have a good supply of rechargeable batteries.

But my first big issue is that it doesn't appear to work on PS2 or PS1 games. Pretty much any time the PS3 does the soft reset to start those games the controller looses sync. It works just fine with any game that doesn't involve that reset (PS3 games, or anything downloaded from PSN).

So if you just need a turbo controller for PS3 or PSN games, this is about your only choice. But don't expect to use it on any of your older games. Since this does everything but older games and feels cheap, I had to give it 4 stars. It's good, but not perfect.

I bought this controller just for Call of Duty 4. I have mixed feeling about using it. First the controller is pretty well built doesn't feel cheap. The turbo feature works really well for me since I prefer the single shot rifles and I am able to use it as a full automatic weapon. BUT!!! it is hard to aim with this controller. The analog stick is very sensitive. Even with sensitive setting set to the lowest, I am still aiming wildly. I am able to aim if I move the analog stick very lightly, but it's very slow that way. Maybe it's because I only had it for two days and still use to.

UPDATE.

I just noticed the sensitivity option in the game menu. After it to low, the controller works much better.

Buy Playstation 3 HORI PAD 3 Turbo Wireless - Silver Now

First off, I bought this from electrogalaxy on Monday and had it before the weekend in perfect condition. Excellent work on their and UPS's part.

Second, this controller is perfect for me. Maybe they've changed the quality since the last reviewer bought it, because it doesn't at all feel cheap. The plastic's actually much smoother and more polished looking than the sixaxis.

A possible downside might be the smaller, concave analog sticks. They're actually better for sensitive movements, but it's hard to adjust from the giant analog sticks on the official Dualshock/Sixaxis line of controllers.

The features all work perfectly. This is really THE controller to have if you're playing Call of Duty 4. For instance, CoD4 doesn't allow you to switch between firing modes. However, with the turbo, you can turn a single fire rifle into a burst or even full auto rifle. Nice.

The sensitivity adjuster is also great. Some shooters (CoD4 in particular) haven't struck a proper balance between sensitivity in first person mode, and in sniper scope mode. This makes it much more difficult than necessary to switch between the two. The sensitivity switch on the analog has proven very effective. It's also useful because sensitivity often translates to how quick you can turn around (and you ideally want to be able to turn around quickly and then have enough control to take down anyone on your six). Make sure you give the instructions a quick read, though. The sensitivity switch was counter-intuitive for me (i.e the diagram makes it look like the least sensitive setting is on the left, when it's actually on the right), so at first I wasn't happy with it.

The controller takes AA batteries. A usb charger system would probably be more convenient (especially as I have a usb extension cord and a laptop right by my gaming area), but, I also have plenty of rechargeable AA's-as do most people nowadays. Just be aware you might need to grab an extra pack, as none are included.

The only real flaw is the lack of bluetooth, which doesn't bother me considerably. You can keep a sixaxis around to power it remotely and then tap the ps button on the Hori and use it. Not a big deal to me anyway, as I have my gaming system setup in such a way that I have to turn stuff on manually (and also I like to switch off my ps3 rather than leaving it running in standby). However, if it does concern you, you can just use the regular controller as a remote and still use the Hori quite simply.

All in all, it's a great controller that's enhanced my gaming experience. I hope they expand the features at some point to switch between programmable button sets like the Thrustmaster controller has. I'm also getting one of those for my friends to play with (so rather than going into the menu every time they switch controller, they can program their button configuration once and press a button to switch them.) It doesn't look nearly as good as this one though.

If you want turbo and analog sensitivity, you won't go wrong here. I'll post back if any issues about longevity come into play, but even if they do I'd probably replace it without any fuss.

The HORI PAD 3 Turbo is a fine controller. The turbo button works great for the "shooter games"; I use it with COD4 and turn all the semi auto guns to full auto. It's cool that you can set up ANY button with the turbo. I'd say the biggest down side to this controller is that its nipples are vary small but after playing with them for a while you get used to it. It also feels kind of cheap but I'll take it for the price. Overall I am happy with it.

I read various reviews about this controller. Some good some bad. Still I purchased it on recommendation from another online player.

I only play Tiger Woods Golf (08 & 09) with it, so my experience is limited to this franchise only.

This was purchased mainly for the Turbo function, however I can get 105% 118% by using tap.

Virtually don't have to worry about Hook or Slice.

This controller may not work as well in other games, but my experience in Tiger has been great!

Wish I had purchased it sooner.

UPDATE: Still using it now for Tiger Woods 10, no problems to date.

but since i am.. i'm giving it 4.

The good:

-The game looks great and especially when your webslinging through NY at night time.

-They've added a God of War kick to it. You're now involved in the cinematic action scenes. I think i'm about half way through and the extra moves that can be unlocked is kinda cool.

-You can now walk inside some buildings for certain missions.

-Added different missions

( disarming bombs, taking pictures, taking MJ for web slinging field trip )

The bad:

-Even though the game looks great, there are alot of graphic bugs.

( alot of seaming and clipping )

-Collision problems

( Characters getting pushed into walls, enemies get stuck )

-A.I. needs help.

(enemies will run away.. are simply just stare at you)

-I wish they would've implented a good soundtrack.

-Not sure about this complaint of mine, but i wish or hope.. that i'll be able to play a villian when i beat the game. I heard you can play the goblin... but.. i'd rather play sandman or venom.

Overall, its a good game. If your a spidey fan, its a great game. it's always fun to swing around the city.

Spider-man 3 does its movie counterpart absolutely no justice in this poorly, and lazily done game. This does not seem much better than Spider-man 2 for the PS2. There is a few new additions in there. Such as a slightly improved combat system, a fresh coat of paint, and a little bit of reflection on some surfaces. The combat system seems terribly incomplete, almost no transition between moves, no fluidity at all, it just felt rushed.

Bosses and some missions felt unnecessarily frustrating, unable to see some enemies, while they would attack what you were trying to protect. I also had several problems with mission "coins" disappearing. Stupidly powerful enemies that stopped taking damage after you had given them an unrelenting beating for nearly 10 minutes, knocking them over countless times.

The "God of War"-esque button system is really innovative, and absurdly complicated. God of War normally limited its buttons to just the face buttons. This one throws face, control stick movements and R1,R2, L1, L2 at incredibly inept time, so unless you are really quick, some give you less than a second to complete the combination. Luckily when you mess up a combination, you are never put back at the "start of the level" or anything, it just repeats and unlike God of War, it will use the same sequence you just failed, however, fail one against a boss character, he can do up to 25% damage to you, 4 failures and you are toast, or really close to it. Control could have had more attention paid to it. The swinging is cool, but run into a bulding and the camera will sometimes freak and get stuck somewhere momentarily, thats not a terrible detriment to gameplay, its when the camera gets stuck somewhere in a fight and you swinging at nothing you can see, thats frustrating.

Bruce Campbell makes his return as the Narrator, though he really gives you nothing new for this game aside from the "Matrix-Style" bullet time. If you have played Spider-man 2, dont expect too much new here. Like I said a fresh coat of paint.

This does not exactly live up to the free roaming sandbox gameplay. Framerate tends to struggle in closed areas, people are not very well detailed at all, they all look like scared puppy dogs, while you are very well designed, and the highest amount of detail is paid to Spidey and the bosses.

With that said this game does have its shiny points. Physics are somewhat used here, the sun reflects off windows realistically, at night you can go to buildings and look inside, even though they may be a cheap-o JPEG sitting behind a window, detail was paid to it a little. Spidey looks incredible, up close you can really see the detail in the suit, and black suit spidey is a crazy blast to play. However, *(SPOILER)*

when you get towards the end, and you have to fight Venom and Sandman, Venom is not really a problem, as long as you keep him stunned. Sandman is a pain in the glutes when you take over as New Goblin, the sixaxis control is frustrating. Laying down while playing this part is almost impossible. And judging the bombs is all hands down frustrating for a casual gamer such as myself.

Final thought:

If time and attention were paid to this game it could truly have been incredible. I would have waited another 6 months to a year for a truly great Spiderman game rather than 3 mediocre ones. This game is fun, and if you are a Spidey-freak, definitley dont pass this one up. If you understand the history of film-game franchises give this one a rent. Other than that, pass this one by. Or pick up Rainbow six, or even the Darkness.

If you've never played the second Spider-man game than this one will work nicely with you. I on the other hand find it very much the same as Spider-man 2. Which is displeasing to me. They didn't really make the city larger. Theres no reason the city has to be the same size. On PS3 they could make the city 5 times larger than on PS2 because of the amount of space the Blue-Ray disc allow. Although they did add an underground subway system that doesn't need to stop and load. The city does look much better now, but it's just not enough. Every thing is the same with Spider-man even with the black suit. On the other hand some of the character models look like another said bug eyed or worse thing. They didn't take their time with this game it was rushed by he look at it. I was hoping they would bring back a move or tool from the first Spider-man game in which you could point and shoot yourself in the direction you want like a gun using target cross hairs.

I dislike that they have introduced two versions of the game on the PS3. It has confused a lot of people and made others mad because they cannot be the New Goblin.

To me this is the same repetitive event that happen from the first Spider-man to second game. When Spider-man the movie/game was made it was mostly inside fighting and in the air combat with the annoying "get near the ground and die" thing. Also it had many arcade inside Training system type things to do. The second one had a larger city you could walk around in minus some of the sub games. Although it did have a mini arcade with mini games. The differences are great and the point is that from this first Spiderman PS3 game to the next may be even more tremendous because they didn't really take anything out to add more of something else in for the third. So when they get it together and think more plus work harder there will be a great Spider-man 4. I know they didn't work very hard on this third one. The first two was worked on more. They just copy and pasted from the second game. On this Spider-man 3D modelers did more work, animators did less work, and all the rest was copied and it was still all together was less than the first two as far as actual labor. I know this because of the end result.

The PS3's first Spider-man game is under it's true potential.

Lastly it's just very boring to me and for 60 USD it wasn't worth the money. If it was at most 15 USD it would be alright.

I was disappointed and cannot gather how fun this game is considering it could be better. I give it low points based on the earlier work. Someone who hasn't ever played the past games might think more highly of it.

Okay, so its no inFAMOUS, but Spider-Man 3 is a good game, everybody is complaining about "screen tears" and "lag" and "glitches", I have never expirienced screen tears, there is some glitches, while I have only gotten 2 glitches, and like 3 lags.

Gameplay: 8/10

Graphics: 8/10

Story: 5/10

Characters: 3/10

Combat: 9/10

Sound: 10/10

If you don't have a Ps2, GameCube, or Regular Xbox, and can't get Spider-Man 2 the videogame, then this is your alternative, its good but no where near as good as Spider-Man 2.

This is an inexpensive and fun way to enhance the Tiger Woods 2013 experience!

Makes the game feel even more lifelike!

I got the PS3 with the move and the Tiger Woods game for my husband and he and my 22 yr old son love it. I bought this club and a longer one and they love the longer one and never use this one at all. Since this club was so inexpensive I wasn't upset, but I'd recommend just spending $20 on the longer club.

This product is advertised to be great for Guitar Heroe and Guitar Heroe 2 but it is NOT. It does NOT work for GH and GH2. It is not compatible with those two games even though the packaging and advertising says it is. I purchased this and when I called them on the phone after seeing that it did not work they stated it was a misprint on the box and that the controller was not broken but it in fact did not work for GH and GH2...so at least they didn't give me the run around but beware if you are buying it in the hopes of playing those two games on the PS3.

I watched 7thLevelReviews's Don't Buy this S*** video on this game and this game is terrible. I only bought this game just to get the Platinum Trophy to see how much torture I have to endure while playing this game.

If you're an adult trying to grab an easy platinum for your PS3 rating, don't bother. There are two very good reasons why it's not worth it:

1) The horse racing game needs 4 controllers. If you already happen to have four, or can borrow a few, fine. Otherwise, you won't be able to get the Silver for it. Personally, I refused to ask any of my friends to take on the four player game (you just need the controllers to register with the game, you don't actually need to use them). I also didn't want anyone to know why I needed to borrow a controller, so I grabbed myself a wired controller, which I wanted to get for on-line play anyway (don't you hate when a battery dies out just before you get that final, winning kill?).

2) The bottle toss game. The angles are NOT set up for straight forward play. You also have to use the six axis controller to toss the bean bag. I swear, the bottle toss games in real life are not rigged nearly as bad as the one in this game.

And if you want a bonus third reason not to play the game, it really is made for tweens and kids. It's like playing a really bad Disney TV show or movie (anyone ever see a re-run of the original Mickey Mouse Club? The old black & whites from the 50's?).

There really are better games to boost your stats with. Less embarrassing ones as well. Try the Back To The Future: The Game series. You can play it on disc, then down load the chapters to double your awards (but not the Platinum. That's only on the disc). Even the Megamind game doesn't feel so childish in comparison. And yes, Megamind was my first Platinum.

This game is a lot of fun. It follows the story of the movie (for the most part) and is hours of fun. The songs are there, the humor is there, and the fashion is there. This is probably the best game based on a Disney movie or show out there.

These are great for making your own modded-controller, or changing up the cosmetics.

BE CAUTIOUS HOWEVER. When you open up your controller, in the latter models, there is a small piece that sticks out and is separated from the rest of the circuit board. This piece is incredibly easy to break off, and will break off if you do not open the case carefully. I'm not sure what this piece does, but it will make the controllre inoperatble.

Also, the middle buttons did not work for my controller. The Start and Select would work, but the PS button in the middle would not. Other than this small problem, these are great buttons and I would recommend purchasing them.

Looks amazing on my white controller but I had the same problem with the missing the L and\or R 2 button, I got a miss print. The start/select and ps buttons work but it falls deeper then the normal one. I would of complained but you see I was in Afghanistan and didn't know that there was a problem with it till 2 months after getting it and coming home. Never the less this product is good besides the little miss half's.

The face buttons, sticks, and R/L buttons work great, look great too. The white with grey markings face buttons are fantastic looking, work great. The d-pad is pretty fantastic too, tho it slides around a littttttle bit, not a 100% perfect fit, more like 85%, a nonissue tho really.

However, the center buttons (start/select/PS) straight up don't work, the PS button silicon bit is missing the plunger in the middle to actually depress the circuit. Completely useless if you want to be able to turn on your controller or use it. :/ Perhaps it works on a different internal make of the PS3 controller, but not on mine. Disappointing.

Lastly, I didn't get a second R2/L2 button... only one in the little baggy. The one I got works great, but its pretty unforgivable. Amazon was quite quick to get another one sent out (tho I picked a different merchant) and a return label for this one issued. Probably just a fluke, but be warned.

TL;DR: The parts of the product I got are pretty good, but I didn't get one of the buttons, and the start/select/ps buttons don't work. Very pretty lookin' bits tho.

I got a white kit and a used white controller for about the price of a new controller. I also performed a LED mod with a white LED and it looks awesome!

Pros:

My PS3 controller looks like it was made for the Wii.

The new thumb sticks fixed the worn out ones it had before.

The Start/Select/PS rubber pad is clear under the PS Button! It doesn't need a hole in it to perform the LED modification.

Cons:

$12.99 + $4.30 shipping is a little steep for these. $9.99 with super saver shipping would be the sweet spot IMO. 1 used controller + These = Same price as new controller :/

The thumb stick's rounded lower end has a smaller diameter than the original sticks. When fully leaned over a gap is visible into the controller, albeit just a sliver.

Other:

The set I received are for the older generation of controllers that used a rocker standoff for the D-Pad. The newer generation D-Pad has the rocker built in, no standoff. This doesn't really matter, as the shell still has the slots for the rocker standoff. So the set worked fine and is compatible with older gen controllers too.

This may be a con for some, but it's not for me. The square, triangle, circle, and X are not colored. They are simply grey. This actually look fine on a white controller. But it is not quite as authentic.

Got them in three days after i ordered them pretty fast since its coming from new york and i live in California. From the other reviews on diff colors said a little modification none for me went right together like they said and added a cool look. Side by side with the factory buttons and thumb sticks there is no difference besides the color. So no game play down fall. Great buy going to get little brothet a set next with a shell. Way to go guys a very satisfied customer!!!!!!
