This is a review i wrote for a better version of this playseat cockpit but the construction and quality are all the same.

This racing seat/cockpit/mount is amazing. I need as much space as i can get, so out of all the available cockpits that are on the market now, none can be as compact as this. Not saying that it doesnt extend for us tall people, im 6'3" and ive got room to grow in this seat. I find the seat to be a little snug and not have much back support, but i doubt your gonna be sitting in this for over 5 hours.

Ive tried out tons of cockpits and done a bunch of research. This by far gives you the most bang for your buck. It does everything the other cockpits and more. But just like everything in this world there are downsides and room for improvement.

You cant adjust the angle of the steering wheel's mount. You can adjust the elevation and how close it is to you but not the angle at which it faces you.

The pedal mount will also require constant maintenance unless you buy some loctite in which case you run the risk of stripping your screws. There is a very inconveniently placed screw that requires and allen wrench and doesnt have a lot of room for you to apply down pressure to make sure you dont strip the screw. In my case, i most likely wont be removing that screw and if i need to, the construction is made of metal and heat allows loctite to dissolve/melt away so you can remove screws or what have you easier. The reason for all of this is because if you dont use loctite, or constantly tighten this screw, and the one next to it you will have a lot of play on the pedal mount. Eventually just pressing your foot on the throttle will cause the entire pedal mount to rotate to the right and same goes for the left side.

Other than that the only other complain i have is that the mount for a shifter has a lot of play as well. Im constantly feeling the shifter whether its from fanatec or the g27 racing wheel set to move forward and backwards. In order to solve this problem i needed to use popped bubble wrap to help, not solve this problem. But if your storing this in minimal space like i am, your gonna be removing the shifter constantly and the wrap will tear. Im currently trying to solve this problem now thats its been a year of owning a playseat. All playseats are constructed the same, the only thing that changes is the seat or the color of the metal.

The great thing is this thing has tons of room under the seat for mods and the buttkicker gaming amp you can buy. Even if you have a fanatec racing wheel like me you dont need to worry, the g27 bolts right on, but the fanatec wheel comes with a template for drilling the holes, so as long as you have a drill and a bit you can easily fit almost any racing wheel onto this thing. The metal is very easy to drill through.

Just remember that this seat is not at all a good seat for use with PC games unless you like getting out of the seat every time you need to use a keyboard/mouse and wanna hunch over your setup and or desk. For just a tiny bit more you can find tons of better cockpits that will come with or allow you to later purchase keyboard, mouse, and monitor mounts.

Not only is this skin great to look at, I'm shocked that it's stayed on as long as it has! Now I'm not too happy with the controller aspect of it, as it can't endure alot of gaming without pealing right off, but the console skin sure seems to hold up to the heat. Very nice!

This will be a lengthy and detailed review written (primarily about the system itself) in the form of a Q&A to help make it easier to find whatever topic or question you might be interested in knowing about this product rather than having to read the whole thing. My purpose of being so detailed is simply to help YOU, the customer, make an informed decision before purchasing this product.

Q. What's in the box?

A. Here is everything that is included inside the box (listed in bullet points for viewing convenience):

1 Playstation 3 (Black) "Super Slim" system with 500 GB of Hard Drive space

1 physical copy of the newly released game "Grand Theft Auto V"

1 Playstation 3 Dualshock Wireless Controller (Black)

1 Playstation 3 USB mini cable charging chord (to recharge the controller)

1 power chord to plug into the Playstation 3 (allowing you to turn on the console)

1 set of composite cables (the red, yellow, and white chords for non HD picture)

1 30 day free trial of the Playstation Plus membership service

**This does not come with an HDMI cable.

**This does not come with an Ethernet chord that some of the original "Fat" models were boxed with.

Q. What inputs come with the system?

A. Here is every input/output/slot/whatever the system utilizes (listed in bullet points for viewing convenience):

1 Ethernet Back

1 HDMI out Back

1 Digital out (optical) Back

1 AV Multi out Back

1 AC in Back

2 Hi-Speed USB (USB 2.0) Front

Q. I'm into "techno terms." What are some of the specs involved with this system?

A. I'll just cover a summary of some of the essential basics of the hardware involved (if you want to really dissect things, a simple Google search would do you a lot of good). Basically, this system comes with:

500 GB Hard Drive

Cell Broadband Engine CPU

RSX GPU

Bluetooth 2.0 (for use with headsets, wireless keyboards, and other accessories)

Blu-Ray Disc Drive (used to play Blu-Ray movies and can also play DVDs as well)

**The system consumes about 190W of power

**The picture resolution ranges from 480i 1080p

**The system is also capable of being used as a 3D Blu-Ray player. You'll need a 3D TV for this to work.

Q. I've never owned a Playstation 3 before, yet why should I buy this system when the Playstation 4 is coming out November 15?

A. That is a very good question. Yes, this bundle is being released rather late into the Playstation 3's lifespan. Yet that doesn't mean the system doesn't still warrant a purchase. For starters, if you do hold out for a Playstation 4, unfortunately (for now at least), the Playstation 4 will not be backwards compatible. I say "for now at least" because eventually Sony plans on using an extensive cloud-based service to download PS3, PS2, and PS1 titles digitally onto the system. Keeping that in mind, Microsoft announced that they plan to keep the Xbox 360 supported for at least another three years, and while Sony hasn't made any similar announcement, I can't imagine Sony would be too far behind when it comes to continuing support of the Playstation 3.

That being said, if you've never owned a Playstation 3 before, you will have access to a whole library of games out for the system (which continue to decrease in price as the months go by) both via physical copy and digital download through the Playstation Store. Among these are such award winning exclusives such as "The Last Of Us," the "Uncharted" series, the "God of War" series, the "Ratchet and Clank" series, and so much more (let's not forget about the non-exclusive titles). Not to mention there are plenty of excellent games that are still being developed and are to be released for the system (games like Gran Turismo 6, Batman: Arkham Origins (not an exclusive), BEYOND: Two Souls, and Final Fantasy XIII-3 (not an exclusive)). Also there are plenty of "indie" games and "PSN titles" available to download digitally from the Playstation Store (games like "Journey," "Fat Princess," the "PixelJunk" series, and the list goes on).

You can also use the Playstation 3 to access plenty of apps such as Netflix, Amazon Video, Hulu Plus, Crackle, and more! Not to mention you can upload pictures, music, and videos onto the Hard Drive. Some games even allow you to play your own uploaded music in the background while playing the game itself (though not all of them do that). With 500GB of space, you will have plenty of room to download a vast array of digital content (whether it be movies or games). You can also backup your files by plugging in an External Hard Drave through the USB slots located on the front of the system.

I know I may sound a bit "preachy," yet I'm simply trying to make a case for those who may have never owned a Playstation 3 before. If you already own the system, then clearly there is no need to purchase this. Unless you're like me of course...my Slim (purchased on release day in 2009) finally got the YLOD (yellow light of death) after years of HEAVY use and so I needed another one. I was already going to get GTAV anyway so for me this bundle made sense. I installed a 500GB Hard Drive into my old system and used up 480GB of it...and it is filled with a lot of games that I still have yet to touch, so for my instance, there is a means to justify rebuying one. I know I know..."cool story, bro."

Q. That's nice and all, but I need more convincing. What else can you say about this bundle?

A. Let's look at some numbers, shall we? This bundle is currently listed on Amazon for $269.99. How does that compare with other bundles/units? Well as far as 500GB consoles go, the only other one that comes close is the one that's just the system itself (which is currently priced at $269.95). As for the other 500 GB bundles? Well they range from $286.58-398.99 (at least at "new" prices). You could always go the "used" route, yet as far as I'm concerned buying a used console comes with risks.

Q. I don't really need 500GB of space on my Hard Drive. Are there any other alternatives?

A. The cheapest unit listed "new" on Amazon right now is the 12GB Playstation 3, which is priced at $199.99. The bad thing about this one though is that it doesn't have an actual Hard Drive. You could also go with some of the 250GB bundles such as the "Uncharted 3" bundle listed at $249.96 or the Sports Champions and Eye Pet Move Bundle priced at $276.94 (not bad if you don't already own a Playstation Move setup and are interested in that sort of motion control thing). I could sit here and talk numbers all day, though it wouldn't matter since prices are sure to fluctuate. By the time you read this these values might be inaccurate.

Q. I've seen the specs, you've listed some reasons for purchase, and you've shown me the numbers. What about GTAV? Can you tell me anything about the game?

A. This section will likely be updated as I go along playing through the game, however I can say that GTAV is the fifth entry in a series of games created by the developers at Rockstar Games. The genre one might consider this game to be is commonly referred to as a "sandbox game" where the player can go around and virtually do whatever they want (though obviously there are some limitations). If it's anything like the last entry (GTAIV), there will be plenty of guns, action, pixelated ladies, trash talk, a great story, and most importantly, lots of fun. This game has earned a reputation for being the most expensive game developed, costing the studio around $265,000,000 to create. It's safe to say that the developers have put a lot of faith, time, and effort into this product.

I might also add that there WILL be a multiplayer mode however it will be released (likely as some sort of patch) for free at a later date (rumored sometime in October). So don't think you have a defective copy without any multiplayer mode, it will be released soon enough.

As stated earlier, as far as the GTA V portion of this review goes, I will be updating it as I continue through my playthrough. However my review focuses mainly on the system and if you are really in an urgent dire need to know more about GTAV, then I'd suggest checking the product page for the game itself.

I do apologize for writing a novel here, yet I hope that this information helps you out in some way. Feel free to leave some questions or comments and I will get back to them as soon as possible.

This is my 1st and probably only video review I'll ever make. Mainly did it just to show the unboxing so you can see what all you're getting in it.

I didn't mention this in the video, but if you ordered this bundle, the promotional code to get your atomic blimp WILL NOT be inside the game case. You should have already received an email from Amazon and your promotional code should be in that email. Only people who ordered the standalone game get the code inside the game case.

Other than that, this bundle is amazing. I'm not entirely sure how much a regular 500gb super slim PS3 is, but I bet you're saving a lot of money getting this bundle compared to getting the two (PS3 and GTA V) separately. Oh and plus you get a free month of PS Plus so yea. If you're like me and you've had your PS3 for years and it's about time for an upgrade, or if you're new to the PS3, this is where you should start.

Also, this IS worth getting even if you plan on upgrading to next gen consoles. There are still lots of games to play currently on the PS3 plus future titles that will be coming out only on PS3 and not PS4. I plan on playing my PS3 for years to come, even when I get my PS4. I was just pointing this out for the people saying it's not worth getting a PS3/Xbox360 atm since next gen is just around the corner.

But yes, this PS3 is awesome. I had to do a data transfer from my old PS3 (the one in the vid) to this one, and it took a while, but it was worth it. Oh, I haven't even talked about the game itself yet. GTA V is amazing. Although I did want a new PS3, GTA V was easily the deciding factor in why I chose to get this bundle.

I own and have played GTA IV, and I did like it. GTA V is just such a massive upgrade from GTA IV. So much more to do, many places to explore. Three main characters which you can switch to at any time as long as you're not in a mission. Each character has a specific power that only they can use. Also, you get to go open-world pretty quickly into the game which is good. What I mean by that is, usually in a GTA game, there's a certain amount of time at the very beginning where you have to play the story before you're allowed to go wherever you want and do whatever you want.

Graphically it looks better than GTA IV, and it's just so much more vast. GTA V is on a whole nother level than all the previous GTA games. Also they finally fixed the driving mechanics in V compared to IV. That was such a pain. One wrong touch of the analog stick won't make you go spinning out of control anymore. Also, my friend let me try his Pulse GTA V elite headset that is speciically tailored to the PS3 version of GTA V. If only I had an extra $180 to spend. Those headsets makes the gameplay feel so much more immersive.

I'm reviewing more of the bundle itself rather than the game. You should check out one of the other reviews or just look at the reviews in the actual GTA V section on Amazon if you want a review that's more about the game itelf. (just the standalone game reviews and not the reviews for this bundle).

Overall, I give this bundle and the game GTA V both 5/5 stars. Honestly, I think this game deserves all the hype it's been getting. Especially after playing it hands on. Unless you're not into sandbox games or you're turned off by some of the vulgarity that is constant across most GTA games, you should definitely pick this up. Unless you're one of those people waiting for a PC/next-gen version to be released.

Anyways, Can't wait to spend countless hours doing random stuff on GTA V. Don't even get me started on multiplayer. Hope this helps!

Ok so Ive been a PC gamer all my life.. The though of a console would give me a feeling of being "tied down" to a platform and certain specs that came with it. As a PC gamer you can update your rig, and push the boundaries of graphics on any game. Here is where the problem lies. The greatest game of all times GTA 5 being released and its not being released on PC first instead consoles. So I took the leap of faith and purchased myself this PS3 Console bundle with a copy of GTA-5. To say the latest, I could not be any more happier. PS3 is a great system, ultra fast, instant responses, and for $269 this deal is a steal!!! The game just itself is $59 with tax your well into $65-68 so when you look at it this way your getting a 500 GIGS PS3 with a wireless controller for $199 bucks.. In order for me to max this game out on my PC if/and when it comes out i would probably have to spend $200-300 on a new graphics card itself and here with this bundle I got the game, the system, and everything to have fun right in the box for as much as a standard graphics card cots for PC. Setup was a breeze, and before you know it I was smiling like a kid while jetting down Los Santos... and I got 3 other games on the way (Uncharted2,3 and the Last of Us!) I could not be any more happier!!! I feel I will be spending a lot of my fall/winter months with my new found love... in Summary I LOVE MY PS3! and my GTA5!! This bundle is the shiet! YEEEEHAA!!

This is by far the best deal on a PS3 EVER. You're getting a very decent 500GB HD along with this year's most anticipated game: GTA5. So I'm basically paying for the 12GB $199 model and getting a 500GB HD upgrade for $10 along with this year's most anticipated game. Awesome

!

Even though the PS4 is around the corner, the PS3 still has a LOT going for it for the next couple of years with at least 5 highly anticipated EXCLUSIVE titles coming before the end of the year (Beyond: Two Souls, Puppeteer, rain, FFX HD and Gran Turismo 6). Swallow that Xbox fanboys!

I have absolute no rush in getting a next gen system for the foreseeable future as I will wait for them to work out the bugs, lower the prices and release slimmer more efficient versions so I'm counting on my buddy PS3 for plenty of good times for the next 2-3 years at least! Plus, my PS+ subscription is good through 2015 and they will keep supporting the PS3 with free excellent games from its already outstanding gaming library. If you ask me, NOW is the best time EVER to get a PS3. See you online!

Want PS3 500 GB Grand Theft Auto V Bundle Discount?

If you're in the market for a PS3 system, as of this writing in September 2013 this 500 GB GTA V bundle is the one to get.

From a value perspective this is a fantastic deal as the current base model PS3 is priced at $199 with a paltry 12 GB of hard drive storage. With this GTA-V bundle system you are paying $70 extra for a 500 GB hard drive, a free copy of GTA-V (priced at $60 and unlikely to be discounted anytime soon) and 1 free month of Playstation Plus. With my free month of PS+ activated I immediately downloaded FREE digital versions of 'Xcom Enemy Unknown,' 'Uncharted 3,' 'Saints Row 3,' and 'Machinarium.' Keep in mind that there were a good variety of other free PS+ games available but for now I was more than content with my initial batch of downloads which provided an added layer of immense value on top of an already generously priced bundle package.

Previously I've owned an 80gb PS3 Phat and after years of dedicated service that system was getting long in the tooth and the fan would screech at unbearably loud levels after gaming or watching blu-rays for 10 minutes so an upgrade was definitely in order as I expect to keep playing my PS3 for at least several years due to the backlog of physical games I have yet to complete as well as the monthly offerings from PS+. If you're upgrading from an OG Phat to these new super-slim models here are some of the major differences you'll notice:

+The new systems run super quiet. There is almost no discernible fan noise even after 6 hour+ gaming sessions.

+You will, however, hear disc access noise. Unlike the old ps3's the super slim uses cheaper manual slide out access panels to insert/remove discs so when the disc spins you will notice the noise. With that said, its not unbearable just noticeable but this tradeoff is completely reasonable in exchange for the near silent fan noise.

+System is compact and light. The old PS3's are heavy with a big footprint. These super-slims live up their billing and are light and much easier to transport or move around.

If you're in the market for a copy of GTA-V and in need of a new PS3 (or considering upgrading from your old version) this system bundle is certainly the way to go.

Just got the game and it is already a favorite by the wife. She has never liked any PS3 game, but this shooting game is making her dream about shooting ducks and buck. The arcade system is quite enjoyable. It's like being in a helicopter. The story line is engrossing with its details and cinemtic flair. It puts the pressure on the player to put up or shut up.

10 fingers up.

This is a good game, challenging if you do not follow the prompts on how to make it easier. It allows for different ways to play single player as well as multi player and online. I decided not to purchase the gun with it as it would have been a waste. Used only the regular PS3 controller, do not have the other piece to play it with the move wand. Overall had a good time with it, would not recommend for children and teens with a compromised reality.

Got this game just last Saturday and since then can't stop playing enough. The story line is incredibly engaging and gets you involved in it. These guys have done a good job covering regions across the world. Arcade mode is a stress buster whereas the reflexes mode is real challenger. I don't think these guys could have done any better job as it gets as realistic as it could. Only issue I find is it is a bit slow when you are turning left right and seems a bit unresponsive. That's the reason i gave it only 4 stars.

High Moon did a great job with Transformers WFC.I still play it to this day. I had high hopes for Transformers DOTM.The game felt rushed. The animations seem choppy and glitchy. They walk around like they're floating sometimes. A lot of elements are the same but simplified not in a good way. For instance special abilities are only for specific characters. the drain ability is only specific to Megatron.

The environments are nothing new, just frustrating at times. Its not a bad game, it can be fun at times. I was just hoping for WFC with the Bay-Formers style. I would rent this before dishing out $60.

Oh and one last thing. I dont know why theres no reviews on the game. did they pay everyone off not to give it a bad review on opening weekend? IGN,GAMESPOT, no one reviewed this game. I feel like a guinea pig for buying it the first day it was out.

Pros: Controls much better than the 1st two Transformers games. Easy to maneuvor, esp. in vehicle mode. Have multiplayer and room for customization & upgrades. Able to use & play a few different characters. Easy to upgrade levels in multiplayer (I played Commander for ~3 hrs and been able to upgrade to highest lvl 20 vs. it takes forever to upgrade in games like COD: MW2 and Battlefield BC1 & 2).

Cons: Short game with only 7 chapters (I rented it from Redbox for the weekend & as an average gamer I finished it in easy mode in abt 6 hrs). Story is average, especially ending (as it probably didn't want to spoil the movie). Graphics is average. No open world, can't climb buildings and environments not destructible. Some glitches that froze my campaign mode 2-3 times, multiplayer mode ~2 times. Also suddenly lost connection 5-7 times during multiplayer games that are not related to my network.

I have the first two Transformers PS3 games and were very disappointed at them because it was so hard to defeat the spinning robots and timed even at easy mode so I was stuck and never moved beyond that. So this one I've found it enjoyable to be able to easily maneuvor my unit. I really don't like to shoot using R2 button and I strongly think that R1 makes so much more sense for the index finger and we can't change it. It also makes sense to have the Drain special ability used only by Megatron (tied well to the story). I still haven't figured out which weapon and why someone in multiplayer mode can easily kill me with one or two shots when most the time I have to shoot 5-6+ even though it seems like it hit.

I very much hope to have a Transfomers game with much more decent graphics such as those in COD & Battlefield. I think it'll really blast people off had the company invested more in that and make this more of an open world and destrutible environment. The new Battlefield 3 from the trailer really set a new high bar in many of those areas. That'll be my wish list.

Overall this is still an enjoyable game, but I don't think it's worth $60. I usually buy games at $20 and even then I was very glad that I just spend $2.15 to have rented this and even able to finish it and played some multiplayer in 2 days.

I thought that this game would be more fun than it was. I've played through the other 2 Transformers movie games and they were much more enjoyable to play than this one. I found the controls odd and irritating. The movement when in car/truck mode was a hassle and the weapons controls were also annoying both in robot & car/truck mode. Overall this game was not very fun for me. Of course this is just my opinion based on my own gaming preferences. The graphics and sound were pretty good, it was just the gameplay that I didn't like.

As a pretty casual gamer, I thoroughly enjoyed Origins The controls are easy to master, and the combat system isn't too complicated. I think the only qualm I had about the combat system was only having 6 shortcut slots for a multitude of spells. Granted, they give you like a shortcut for your spellbook, but I thought it was a little annoying flipping through it trying to find the right spell or ability. For the more experienced players, however, this might not even be a problem. For combat, you're also able to set up specific combat tactics for each of your party members, or you have the choice of cycling through your party members during combat to use their abilities. Not only does this give you more control, but also lets you 'try out' other classes than your own.

One of the best features of the game is being able to interact with party members and other NPC's and influence how they feel about your character. For me, this was the first time I have come across such a feature, and it definitely gives a whole new depth to the RPG experience. The replay value is pretty decent, as well, since there are many different classes and back stories to choose from, as well as specific class configurations, et cetera. Also, you are able to interact differently with NPC's the next time around, and some might even act differently towards you depending on which race and back story you choose.

Overall, I feel like the game was pretty linear. While you could revisit places you have been to before, however, I personally didn't see much of a point (unless I had forgotten something or had a side quest) since the enemies don't respawn, and there is hardly a need for "grinding" in the game. (The lack of respawning also limits the amount of loot/gold you can get throughout the game as well).

As far as the story goes, I liked it a lot and felt like it had enough depth to it It's also nice to be able to talk to your party members about their own personal stories. There are lots of other little great things about the game that I haven't mentioned, like the professions/secondary abilities or the little tidbits of lore you can collect, etc.

Great game, I thought it was worth the purchase! :)

This game is lots of fun. I have been playing it all weekend and am still addicted. The game has little story but makes up for it with non stop action. It's true that the game doesn't do anything new and amazing but it's a movie tie in. When has a movie tie-in done anything revolutionary?

The game plays almost like a single player version of a multiplayer game. You run around a huge map killing every enemy thing you see. Yes, most of the missions are recycled in different ways but the nature of the game is a shooter. The missions just giving you different reasons to do it.

I think the Na'vi side is a bit more fun because you have close range melee attacks that work well up close. As well as an awesome bow and arrow that can take out most tiny soldiers with one satisfying hit. Plus for some reason, I guess because they are tribal, you get the urge to play with a more hunting style. Climbing to the tops of giant trees and stalking tiny humans and taking them out with your bow and arrow really nails the tribal hunter awesomeness. The RDA side is shooter style only with no melee at all. That can be annoying because when enemies get to close they can be difficult to target because they move so fast when up close. But at least they are huge targets.

The graphics are unbelievable. The Jungles are so detailed and amazing to look at. The best part are the night areas. Everything glows in the dark. The trees, plants, animals. It looks almost like under the ocean. The perspectives are fun too. Playing as the Na'vi everything looks tiny including the humans. When you play as humans everything is huge. It helps to make both sides of the game feel original even though you are actually playing on the same maps.

The movie looks like it'll be awesome, and I think most of the gamers here will become big fans of the sci-fi adventure. It's unfortunate that the low score game magazine reviews will discourage so many people not to try this game. Hopefully after everyone sees the movie they will be inspired to try this awesome, entertaining game.

QUICK IMPRESSIONS

After watching the movie twice (once 'regular' 3D, than on IMAX, getting a copy of 'Avatar the game experience' came naturally, regardless of the so-so reviews I found at Amazon. To my surprise, I do NOT regret making this purchase not because Avatar is an exceptionally innovative game but because it keeps the world of Pandora alive and teaming with life and conflict as we are all waiting for some more affordable 'at home' 3D technology to make the real Avatar and maybe a sequel or two possible in our living room.

So, briefly, the game is VERY good at giving us a sort of bird's eye view of Pandora the color, the features, the wild life, RDA's war machines are all pretty good renderings of Cameron's cinematic masterpiece a 3D mode is possible but we don't have that kind of a TV so we can only imagine what a 3D game would look like. Gameplay itself, while a bit repetitive, is not that bad and the lack of variety in weapons and skillsets is compensated by the several play modes. As for replay value, it really depends on how much you enjoyed the movie. By the way, I would not recommend playing this game unless you watched the movie because you can't play Avatar with a cold heart.

GAME SETUP

You have the ability to give your character a first name last name is always Ryder and you are a signal specialist. The game lets you shape you gender and appearance and, while at it, you will see how both your human and Na'vi face are going to look like. There are no difficulty settings so, unless you want to tinker with the sound settings or other minutia, you're ready to go.

Of course, there will come a point in the game where you will have to choose between sticking with the humans or joining the Na'vis.

GAMEPLAY

The beginning doesn't look like much you show up at the base and you run chores. Well... as you do that you gain experience points that bring more skills and you are allowed to access more articles from the Pandoran version of Wikipedia that can give you some idea of what you are dealing with. Eventually, in the story mode, you will have to decide on which side you really are. If you stick with the humans, you'll be riding mechanized vehicles and firing range weapons and lay waste to Pandora's wildlife and native population. If you pick the Na'vi, your bow is complemented with melee weapons and you'll be riding those amazing Pandoran dragons and... well... slaughter the little machine-gun firing but rather fragile humans.

The game play is very simple and easy to learn. You can evade, jump, shoot, and slow down time temporarily for climatic moments. You can do a lot of climbing in some parts however you cannot grab on to ledges and the terrain can get very confusing because of that. Sometimes you have to endlessly look for some vine to climb after giving up your attempts to climb the terrain without it. As a human, relying on ranged weapons exclusively can annoy some people because they constantly have to retreat from incoming enemies. As a Na'vi you have some melee weapons that can make many enemies easier to kill if they get too hard for your normal bow and arrow.

GAME MODES

If you want to take a break from story mode there is the conquest mode. Here you can command armies to conquer territory send the humans back home if you are a Na'vi or eliminate the Na'vi if you are with the humans. All you see in the conquest mode is the statistics of what happens so don't expect any climatic cut scenes. This mode can also benefit the normal story mode by giving you spoils as you progress through the game. These two parts of the game can refresh each other continually.

If you do multiplayer you go head to head with other players around the world on different maps throughout the game. There are many scenarios and maps so it stays fresh for a while. This mode can also help your skills for single play as well to help you get better. You usually pick between the Na'vi and humans so you can pick the side you are best with but, with good players it can get quite predictable with the humans continuously retreating and firing their weapons and the Na'vi trying to get close and engage in a melee that they almost always win.

So, to summarize, you can play Avatar as follows:

Na'vi in story mode

Human in story mode

Na'vi in contest mode

Human in contest mode

Na'vi in multiplayer

Human in multiplayer

MY RATING

Avatar could have been a blockbuster, the way the movie is but it's not quite there. It's a competently layout game with stunning visuals and offering some variety but there is very little as far as character development goes, there aren't too many weapons and the action, whether playing the conquest or the shootouts can be a little repetitive.

I've enjoyed playing Avatar for the first few hours and I expect to come back to it from time to time but, while a 'good' game, I would not call it 'top notch' so it's going to get 4 stars overall.

For a tritton madcatz product I was sorta disappointed to be quite honest, but its not the worst nor the best, but then again you can't ask for a lot out of a $40 bluetooth. I use it to chat with friends but to play seriously I use astro a50. I would recommend it if you are just looking for a mic to chat with friends this is perfect for you! I guess this is one of those times , when the statement you get what you pay for comes in.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I have used this off and on to play various multiplayer games of Ratchet & Clank, Modern Warfare, and Mass Effect on the PS3. I have also tried to use the unit with my Android phones, and our iPhone, and it works fine in call mode, but unfortunately, it doesn't support the a2dp protocol, and therefore doesn't stream media sound, such as from an MP3 player or streaming radio app. Other than that, it is a flawless unit.

4 stars.

This would be a great product if only the battery life was longer than just 2-3 hours. I can walk into another room to grab a drink and still chit-chat with the people I play Black Ops with. But invariably, by the end of our night, my earpiece starts beeping to let me know that it's going dead. The other issue is that, as has been stated, the earbud is FAR too big. It's just plain uncomfortable, and doesn't like to stay in place.

Update5/24/12

Less than two months after purchasing the earpiece, it's unusable. Every time I try to connect it, the other end gets nothing but static and a staccato tapping/thumping noise. I've tried everything I can to get it working again, but to no avail. Avoid this product like the plague.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The Tritton Switchblade wireless headset works as advertised. It works great both with the PS3 and also with my cell phone. It's very easy to use and setup and the charge seems to last a long time (since receiving it I've only charged it the initial time and haven't had to recharge it yet).

The wireless range is excellent, with the instructions stating 30 feet although it as a test I had it out to nearly 40 feet and it was still functioning fine. Voice communication through the headset is also very good. The front half of the headset swings inwards towards your cheek/mouth to help cut or at least reduce ambiant noise and this works well.

So operationally this is really quite a good headset. However with headsets perhaps the number one factor has to be comfort is this is where the Tritton is let down horribly.

The earpiece is too big (bith with and without the rubber cover) and the ear hook to keep it in place is terrible. It actually pinches your ear, is not very flexable and is just clipped onto the actual headset so I wouldn't rate it's durability very well either.

The recharging base is USB, therefore needs to be plugged into a computer or similar to draw power. You can't just plug it straight into a wall socket.

If Tritton fixed the problem with comfortability then this could be a very good headset, as it is you really can't wear it for long without it hurting therefore my recommendation would be to pass on this.

Want Mad Catz SwitchBlade Wireless Bluetooth Headset for PlayStation 3 Discount?

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I don't really care for this headset. Setup was easy and the sound was pretty good but other than that I didn't like anything else about it. My issues with this headset:

#1 No wall charger. I hate when headsets don't come with wall chargers. This headset is meant to be charged via a USB cord via the PS3 or computer. When I'm on the PS3 I'm using a headset so charging it while I'm playing is not an option and having to leave my computer on for a couple hours so I can charge a headset is not convenient.

#2 Uncomfortable. The part that goes into your ear is very uncomfortable. It's too big and hurts my ear pretty badly. I even took off the rubber piece and it still felt very uncomfortable.

#3 Doesn't stay in place. The hook that wraps around my ear doesn't stay in place. I'm constantly adjusting the headset because the mic part keep falling too low.

#4 Power slide is not easily accessible. Instead of a power button this headset has a power slide. It blends right into the mic and it's hard to do unless you are looking at it in the light. I play in the dark usually until about 2 a.m. sometimes and unless I turn on the light I can't usually find the power slide.

Although it sounds pretty good and was easy to set-up, it's not a headset that I'd recommend. There are much better ones out there. It's not bad but it's not good either.

Well, I was on the ropes about getting this game. I only have a PS3. I hesistated getting this cause reviews say it is far more superior for Kinect. Info and videos for the PS3 version are non existant. So finally I talked to someone who had it for PS3 and said there were no issues with it, so I took his word and picked it up today and did my first workout. I am in no way out of shape. I'm pretty active, workout and PT often. But this got me sweating and my glutes and thighs burning. I was impressed, and to my surprise, the PS3 version worked with hardly any problems. (I didnt have any of the calibration issues the above reviewer had, the cursor moves with your hand that has the Move in it, like the kinect follows your hand, you dont point it.) It missed an average of only 1-2 reps per excercise. Sure, you have to be delibrate and slower with the excercises to make sure they register, but thats ok, it just means your form will be more correct. There are a few down sides, such as the leg strap. The work out had me going back and forth between using the leg strap and holding the motion controllers for the excercises. Another downside is you could cheat and just do the motion without doing the excercise. (But why would anyone pay 50$ to cheat on a workout game?) I noticed many of the Kinect users complaining about freezing, saving (not saving workouts when complete, so they would have to do them over) and exercise reps not registering, but those problems aren't existent here (like I said, it missed 1-2 reps per excercise, that isnt nearly as bad as what kinect users are reporting.). I also noticed many of the kinect users complaining about the warm ups and cool downs and how you have to be in the kinects view or else it would pause. The PS3 version, you could just walk out during those stretches and it would keep going. I did the warm ups and cool downs today, but they are longer than they need to be and I will not do those all the time to that extent. So, if someone out there is like me and is hesitant about getting the PS3 version, or you are frusterated with the Kinect version beyond all reason and have a PS3 also, I suggest getting it for PS3 and trade in the Kinect version. I was quite impressed and while the leg strap is a minor annoyance everything else works fine. I look forward to using it as a supplement to my current regimen.

I gave fun a 3, cause it isnt "Videogame fun", but is fitness fun. Overall, a 4 out of 5. Not perfect, but much better than what the "Professional" reviewers are rating it and just as effective as the Kinect version without the bugs.

First some background:

I'm 32, overweight (5'6" and 190 lbs) and hadn't worked out consistently since high school. From time to time I did some arm curls with dumbbells and some push ups. I've tried running programs, the tower 200 and some other products but I stopped working out after few days. I actually pulled a muscle using the tower 200 in the first day.

I tried Wii Fit at cousin house and it was not motivational at all for me. It actually made me feel bad by portraying me so fat without balance and the the cartoonish look is not my style.

I have finished my first 30-day program with the UFC trainer and I'm very happy! I already began a second 30-day program. I feel the results! For example: the first sessions I had a hard time doing front lunges and today I did 3 sets with the extra reps. For the first time in a long time I'm exercising regularly. It's much more easy when a calendar and whole program is set for you and it's flexible because you don't have to do it in the morning or have to drive to a gym. If you miss one workout the program rearranges itself. Also I didn't even had an idea how to warm up and cool down so it does helps that the "game" tells you how to.

The trainers lines are very repetitive but still I find them motivating.

It does has many faults. You have to learn how to make the exercises (pacing, form, etc) so the PS3 actually counts the reps. I haven't been able to figure how to do it with the T-push ups and the consecutive hooks (in hit the mitts routines) though. The leg strap is tricky and some stitches already broke but it holds.

And, there is this nasty bug that deleted all my information (down to preferences, props, unlocked videos) once I finished the program and retook the fitness test. It really annoyed me but then I remembered that the real reward is being in a little better shape.

Tracking in the menus sucks and the graphics are not good but it doesn't really matter.

Here are some tips:

Take your time figuring out how to secure the leg strap.

Warm your neck up with some "no" and "yes" movements before a workout. Specially one that includes striking.

Forget about beating your time in exercises like crunches and leg lifts. When done at a steady pace you actually feel your muscles working more.

If you can't get the game to pick your reps ups just focus on the exercise because the true goal is to workout.

You do need some space for exercises like side lunges and V-ups.

If you feel like your muscles are not really working with the arm exercises try to redo them using dumbbells before the cool down.

Pay close attention to how the trainer does each exercise. For example, it makes a lot of difference whether your feet are touching the floor before you start bicycle crunches.

I am on a mission to get back in to shape after years of being lazy and a couch potato. So i been looking for a game something similar to the Wii fit games for my PS3. I came across the UFC Personal Trainer game and after reading the reviews from other people i backed away from buying it. I looked around some more and found EA Active 2 but kept thinking about the UFC Personal Trainer, well i bought both and i got to say the UFC Personal Trainer works like a champ, not problems in set up with my PS3 eye cam or getting started. I am getting an awesome workout in the morning using this game and getting in to shape using my PS3. My girlfriend a health nut and she loves this game and likes the workout she get from it.

the main issue with this game is that the game doesn't work with the sensor when choosing an option. I've re-calibrated at least 20 times (hitting select while pointing at PS Eye), but there seems to be an issue when the Eye sensor is on top of the TV. I point almost at the ceiling to choose options.

the answer everybody wants to know, as well as myself (before investing in this) is how does it work with the leg band etc. You'll receive an oversized game box with a leg band included. If you choose not to do any of the leg exercises, you won't need it, but at the beginning you'll need it to take some fitness tests. If you choose to use the leg band, you use it just like as in EA Sports Active 2. You just attach it to your right upper thigh.

If you plan on just punching, elbows, and upper body moves, combos (you edit your workouts) you will rarely (if ever, depending on combo) need the leg band. I personally have 2 Move controllers, since I purchased for The Fight: Lights Out (awesome game btw), so I use one for my right arm and one for my left arm, and just follow the on screen cues. This game in particular adds a personality to fitness games. Although, the fighters repeat some of the one liners, I enjoy hearing their "tough guy" voice each and every time (although it's still fresh). The character animations could have been better, but I do like that THQ added characters in the background. UFC Trainer at times gives you the feeling as if you're really in the gym.

As with EA Sports Active 2, you really must go through with all of your movements to the end for the exercise to register. I tried to cheat with jumping jacks, by just moving my arms and the game didn't count those reps. The game is smart enough to detect that your movements will not be perfect when you're jumping.

This game also has every possible upper body exercise you can do in the gym with free weights (bicep curls, tricep extensions, shoulder presses, etc.) I use the DYNA-BAND 6ft Purple Heavy Resistance Band with handles I attached, while holding the Motion controller.

Should you purchase this game? Obviously, it isn't selling well, so expect the price to go down. If you're looking for a decent upper body workout this title is pretty decent. Again, the main issue is the pointing for options. I can't see how I'm wrong on this, but maybe there is something I'm not doing right. The game requires you to hold the Move controller level so the Eye can detect it (which it does).

Overall, if you'd like to try something different because of lack of PS Move titles, give it a shot. If you do have both, the KInect version is much better, but does expect a lot of room (more than 7 feet) on a lot of the exercises. If you own both systems, I'd go with the Kinect version until THQ fixes the issue with pointing the Move controller at the screen.

The P11 headset brings quality at a fair price. It boasts many features that I look for in a headset, while keeping a good 'bang for the buck' price and not sacrificing build quality.

** THE GOOD **

The overall design for the P11 is fairly simple yet sturdy. The cuffs fit snug on my ears even with glasses!(soft foam earmuffs make a big difference)

50mm speakers are a nice addition. You often find smaller 40mm speakers on headsets this price.

Sound quality is exceptional. These easily have performed better than my older Logitech headset and come close to rivaling my Sennheiser HD 515

Control Box is simple yet efficient. It has a MUTE button as well as MIC and GAME volume controls

MIC MONITOR!!! Such a nice feature. You hear your own voice in a subtle fashion so you know how loud you are talking which makes for more natural conversations

12ft cord is nice especially when other headsets are 6-8ft . The extra few feet make a big difference

** THE BAD **

No XBOX 360 support

Frame itself is sturdy but might be prone to cracking if the headset is stressed

Requires 2 cable hookup. While this isn't something new to the market the cable management Nerd in me goes bonkers! Not a negative just adds to wire clutter

** THE ULGY **

The belt clip on the audio controller feels very cheap. Be extra careful with it

* Overall the P11 headset is a lot of bang for your buck. It has a fairly simple setup and works for both PS3 and PC/MAC. It brings very good quality audio to the table, larger/higher quality speakers to the mix, and a small army of features that will make any gamer happy. If you do not own a headset this is a perfect headset for a mid-ranged user. While it isn't top of the line you are getting your money's worth and will not be disappointed in your purchase.

**NOTE: Setup is fairly simple. For a PC/MAC it is plug-n-play. Just plug the green audio cable into your sound card and then plug the USB cable in. After drivers are automatically installed you should be set to go (you might have to manually set the computer to the headset which can be done in Device Manager > Hardware and Sound > Sound

For a PS3 just plug the USB cable into the PS3. The stereo adapter cables then hook up to the Audio OUT of your TV and you plug the green cable into those or you can plug the green cable into the back of the PS3 and just mute your TV. Go into your PS3 accessory settings and change the headset output to the P11 device. Both PC and PS3 setups are very easy to do

P11 vs PX21 what is the difference?

The P11 is the newest model from Turtle Beach and boasts some "minor" changes to the design. Below is a break down so you can decide which headset is right for you

P11 = PS3, PC/MAC

X11 = 360, PC/MAC

PX21 = PS3, 360, PC/MAC (universal)

X11 and PX21 both use 40mm drivers.... P11 uses 50mm drivers and outputs a bit better bass. The PX21 has a 16ft cord vs the 12ft cord of the X11 and P11. The PX21 also has a flexi-MIC where as the X11 and P11 both use standard mic's. The PX21 also has an option to adjust the Bass boost.

* So overall if you own a PS3 and 360... you want a PX21. What it sacrifices is basically 10mm of speaker power but gives you a nice universal headset for around $10 more. If you only own a PS3, a PC or PS3/PC then you probably should get the P11 as you end up with slightly better audio for less money.

**NOTE: If you have a "hum/buzz" on the speakers here is how to resolve it:

-The audio output of GAME on the audio controller is set to high. This is noise being picked up from the volume being to loud. Just like turning speakers up to max w/o any audio source. Easy way to resolve it is by lowering the master volume in windows (mine defaulted to 94 which I promptly changed to 70). Then just adjust the GAME audio control on the clip on device until the hum vanishes. You should still have clear, loud audio but w/o the white noise now.

**NOTE: For reference on the PC I set windows to volume: 70 (USB headset); my CHAT slider is about 70-80% and my GAME slider is about 50-60% Gives me loud, crystal clear audio w/o any noise.

this headset is a great value. for only 60 bucks, you get very high quality sound for both your ps3 and pc or mac. one noticeable thing is the weight. these are very, very light. most of the time i forget i even have them on! the mic is very high quality; reception is clear on both ends. things sound spectacular on the ps3, especially bad company 2. footsteps are loud, gunshots are powerful, and explosions are very articulate with plenty of bass. overall, a great headset and a great value.

Buy Turtle Beach PS3 Ear Force P11 Amplified Stereo Gaming Headset Now

Turtle Beach has been making gaming headsets for years. Yet I found myself P11 deserves to be one of the

best headset made by anybody. I don't like all glitters, therefore let me go into deep core first.

PROS

1. Good and matching design for PS3 (Black finish and red stripes makes it aesthetically impressive)

2. Comfortable and light; after long hours bashing buttons, gamers with big headsets like this one would hurt themselves.

However, due to its comfy and light measurements, no worries here! I think I could go all night with this baby! (No innuendo btw)

3. Sound Controller, or AMP will make sure you to have maximum gaming experiences. You can MUTE anytime you want, and increase/decrease your chat volume. The Chat Monitor allows players to hear themselves so that way, player don't have to yell.

4. Sound Quality, it is good period Amped up and stereo is really good. For example, In CoD Modern Warfare or CoD Black Ops, I could hear much better now! I could hear enemies location, footsteps, cooking grenades, and etc. I would have to try this headset with GT5, DeadSpace 1 or 2, MW2, and my other games to realize its extend.

5. Ergonomics, Seriously gamers, if you could buy Sony's brand new Bluetooth microphone, why not buy this?

It comes with TWO features you know. One headset and other crystal-clear microphone. The price is only $50 in Amazon. I believe retailers sell you for $60. It is only $10 difference or so. Yet it is so much better. Trust me, I was an once-a-user of Bluetooth. And I know the pain. haha

6. USB powered, which means that you don't have to charge your thing everyone time you wish to play some games.

CONS

1. Cheap Material? Well this could be subjective because for me, I think the stuff they used to make this thing, isn't that cheaply made. Yet you better be careful with this baby because the top part and the earpiece connector seem to be ... little not sturdy. So...

2. Cables? Well come on everybody, it is just a another cable in your collection of tangled cables. Why not add a another one? Besides the headset gives you a long cord so, no worries here too.

So at the end, I would recommend this one to friend or anybody who has doubts about it. You cannot go wrong with this one. Unless you are a really new to the system but sound quality, design, microphone, price and etc. overwhelms the cons.

Now, I will go over some things that I have learned.

Troubleshooting

***Very important use the PS3 AV Cables! Yes they are important, otherwise you cannot hear anything from your earpieces. Go find one from the box (every PS3 boxes come with a AV cable), hook it up to PS3 and the headset.

***PC users, don't be alarmed. If you think your PC speakers still make noises? No it is not! It is most likely the P11!

I could be wrong, depend on the PC's models but I advise to check forums or such.

***Setting up is easy.

Thank you for reading my review. One more reminder though, BUY THIS!

The problem with the entire line of turtle beach PS3/PC gaming headsets is the same and I've broken over a dozen so I know. They will break very quickly if you do not use the belt clip and even then they will still eventually cease working.

Why they break:

The volume control box is separated by two types of wire, one is thicker, reinforced and heavy, the other wire is much shorter and vastly weaker. The short weak wire takes most of the tension which is put on it by the bigger heavier wire and the wiring ends up breaking under it's own weight. There is a way to counteract this which is to simply always use the belt clip *always*. This is not conveniently designed and most people will neglect to use it due to it's impracticality and discomfort.

What to expect:

If you can manage to barely move while wearing them they might actually take more than 3 months (at best) to develop a fault in the wiring, but in the long run they will succumb to the same design failures. Expect them to last around 40-90 days before the sound starts cutting out. Most models of turtle beach headsets do suffer from this problem, so don't expect a more expensive pair to fare better. You can in some places buy a year long warranty, but expect the shipping costs, mediocre and sometimes outright dishonest customer service and overall hassle to outweigh how cost effective that actually ends up being. *DO NOT BUY* this product. I cannot stress that enough.

Have a nice day.

Want Turtle Beach PS3 Ear Force P11 Amplified Stereo Gaming Headset Discount?

Now, I've only had the headset for a few days now. But I wanted to share my experience with it.

Anyways, I got this headset because of two previous failures on the line. Previously, I've had the Turtle Beach PX-21 (which the P11 is an upgrade for apparently, that's what I've heard anyways) and the Triton AX-180. I tested this headset playing the games Call of Duty Black Ops, Metal Gear Solid 4, and SOCOM 4.

The PX-21 is by far the best I've used so far (even better then this headset) because of it's abundance of features and great sound, but the right earpiece failed within 18 days of purchase. Most people purchasing a headset for such good prices want durability out of their headsets. I'm one of those. I sent it back in for a refund and bought the Triton AX-180.

The Triton's we're a mixed bag with me. The sound quality wasn't as good as with the PX-21's. But the sound was more then enough for me, and the Triton's shared most of the features on the PX-21 (excluding the chat boost). But, approximately 2 months after purchase. The left earphone stopped working. Of course, my warranty had expired. So I decided to search for a new headset to buy, and came up with these. The Turtle Beach P11.

Now, as I've said, I've only owned them for 2 days. But this is a great headset, very close to matching the PX-21. But the lack of earcups that can turn (both the earcups are adjustable on both other headsets) is the first thing I have noticed. It's not bad, and most possibly stops the wiring problems caused by headsets with turning earcups (as in stopping that from breaking very fast).

The second thing I noticed was how the chat boost feature (which I loved) from the PX-21's was removed. This is definitely a down with me, as this was a very nifty feature to have.

The third thing I noticed (actually something that I noticed the moment I put these on) is the buzzing noise. It's usually not this bad, while it was there on both other headsets, it is absolutely terrible on these. With a decent amount turned up it becomes way to apparent. Luckily, the buzzing seems to be either drowned out or goes away whenever sound is going through the headphones, meaning that you can still game pretty easily with these things on. It never get's in the way, but can be annoying in the quieter parts of watching a movie or playing a game. Luckily (yes again), the buzzing seems to start to go away the longer you game with the headphones. It's becoming more and more negligible every day (this is not because I am getting used to it).

But, enough with the problems. The sound out of these things is absolutely amazing, it actually outperforms the PX-21 thanks to it's 50mm speakers compared to the usual 40mm usually associated with this type of headset. The headset performs very well at all volumes. On the games I've played on it, the sound is very good and the direction sound is great. I can hear the sounds I never thought there was in these games before I used headphones just fine. I can also hear an enemies footsteps a great way away.

Apart from that, the P11's do music very well. As well as movies (SWAT and Dungeons and Dragons).

Another thing is that these things are just awesomely lightweight. Most of the time I don't even notice I'm wearing them at all. It weighs next to nothing. This is a definite plus with the bulk of PX-21 (it's larger (the PX-21), not much heavier though) and the strange weight I felt with the Triton's. The earcups are also very comfortable and fit amazingly well around my ears.

But, this lightweight thing leads to the P11's greatest weakness. The materials it is built out of seem very cheap. Most of it is made out of what appears to be plastic, and it all seems very cheap. There is hardly any padding on this headset at all, and I really don't see it lasting very long. We'll see how it does, I'll write back if it ever breaks (ehhem... when it breaks).

Anyways, here is a pro's and con's list of all three headsets to clarify some of the finer points.

Its a great and convenient charger, with major flaw. It will take you about 20 minutes to put the controller onto it. the way it is built, it doesnt fit the controller exactly, so you have to try varying degrees until you slide the controller into the dock perfectly. Over time it will just destroy the usb port on your controller because your constantly hitting the controller and grinding it trying to get it in.

I suggest something else, I threw mine away after having it for about 3 months I got sick of always trying to fit it in.

I have seen several reviews (after I purchased it of course) that are stating that the power unit fails after a few minutes. I have had mine for almost 2 weeks and it has yet to burn out.

I only have 3 controllers docked in it any given time and this might be the determining factor.

I really enjoy the fact that it is separate from the PS3 and as such, charges constantly. There are 4 lights on it that indicate whether it is fully charged or charging. The only downside is that it takes a little learning and positioning to seat the controllers (I have yet to seat it right on the first try).

Overall, I would definitely recommend this peripheral to other especially if they have more than 2 controllers.

I got this charger to free up a usb port on my ps3 and also to not need to worry about having the ps3 on to charge my controllers. With this charger my controllers are always ready to go. I really like that the ps3 doesn't need to be on or even near the charger for it to work. Now I can store my controllers wherever I want and they are charged. I read a few reviews saying that the item died on people after a few weeks of use. I have had it for around a month and no problems. I would say that if this item was in a room where I slept it might keep the room to bright. It had a decrative blue light that is always one and then 1 light for each charger that is either off if no controller is on that light's port or red/green depending on if it is charging or fully charged. Other people have complained that it is too hard to plug the controllers on to the charger. I haven't had a problem with this. I find that if I set the controller on the port at an obviously wrong angle and then rotate the controller towards the correct angle when it lines up the weight of the controller will make it drop in place. My only complaint would be that the ac adaptor plug is a little too long so when it plugs into the back of the item some of the silver metal of the plug shows. It's not a problem just something cosmetic. Would I get this again? Yes! Would I suggest a friend get it? Yes!

Well this charger definetly looks sweet with the blue lights. Also has a feature that shows you 4 red lights and when the controller is charged they turn green. Only problem I really had was the fact that if you have silicone sleeves on the charger you have to take them off in order for them to hook up for a charge. Also can be a lil tricky to get them pluged in.

I read several reviews for this product and was a little leery about it, but I needed an external method of recharging my controllers. I have not had a single problem! I am a little careful when I put the controllers on it, some reviews say the tabs are too fragile. The lights make it very easy to see when a controller is ready. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a PS3!
