This PS3 controller was just everything that I needed. The controls are very easy to handle. To set up the turbo controls was quite easy but the button to clear the turbo functions requires a tad more effort to use. The control itself feels very weird compared to a old ps3 controller but after using it about 2-3 times, you get use to the wider spread of the controller.

This is a pretty good alternative controller. THe first thing I noticed would be how perfectly it fits in my hands. The rapid fire function works pretty well (tested on MW3)but the analog sticks are a little stiff which for me makes it a little bit harder to play FPS games. Also the d-pad does not respond as well as it should which causes it to not always register certain presses (tested on Pac-Man Championship Edition).

good for people that have a ps3 to hook it up to. i myself hooked it up to my computer. dont know why it came with extra triggers for the regular ps3 controller and not for this one. it takes some time to get used to the weird angle of the grip but it rubs off on you. triggers weren't as sensitive as i desired but still better than using the keypad. chord is extra long so i dont have to destroy my eyesight in front of the screen.

all in all, you get what you pay for.

Hard to do fine movements with this controller. I do like its overall size, and the triggers are nice (especially L2/R2), but the joysticks make it VERY hard to aim precisely. There is a big dead zone in the middle, and when you finally move, it jumps abruptly. I play BFBC2 mostly. The "turbo" function is OK, but basically unusable in that game (cycles too fast and the fully-auto guns "jam"; pistols jump with recoil and are hard to aim).

I liked this controller very much after getting used to its larger size compared to the Dualshock Sixaxis that came with my PS3.

However, in 6 weeks the right trigger (R2) gradually started to misfire. I wondered why my buddies were consistently doing better. Either no shots would fire when pressed or the fire rate was too low and then went to normal. Even noob players were starting to shoot me dead like fish in a barrel cuz it would hesitate before firing! That's nuts. This product is apparently from Germany. You would think it is high quality then.

I went back to my sucky Dualshock controller to make sure the PS3 console was not the problem. The PS3 checked out OK.

I shot off an e-mail to Snakebyte but did not get a response. Amazon gave me a refund though.
