We just recieved our controller in a package like this and it was a fake, didn't hold a charge, hard to sync. Keep away from this one, it's cheaper and you get what you pay for. The two other reviewers here are fakes also, you can tell from the similar postings. You've been warned.

I ordered this because I needed a second controller for playing with friends. I figured that all Sony Dualshock controllers would be created equal. This, however, was NOT the case. This controller is not as good as the black one that came with my PS3 slim. A friend of mine also has a PS3 with 2 controllers, and he can't stand this one. The analog sticks don't press down properly, and the buttons feel mushy. Stick with the default black controller, or if you get a bad one, send it back. I'm very disappointed with my purchase.

Fake controller, not the one pictured. Doesn't work more than 2ft away from the ps3 unless you have the cord plugged in. L3 and R3 are non existent since the sticks don't click inward properly. All said and done its a piece of junk and an expensive paperweight. Do not buy.

Just received my "Used-Good" controller in the mail today and it's disgusting. There's so much dirt on this "red" controller that it's black along the seam where you hold it. And it's just the controller, no USB cable. Wish I had spent that extra $10 for a new one. Not happy.

I am happy with my purchase! I Bought a new controller. Exactly what the picture shows for a regular controller. Previously i bought two used red controllers, and recieved two FAKE controllers. I recommend buying from the new section, and contacting the seller to confirm the legitimacy of the controller. I believe that is the best way to do it to avoid receiving a fake controller. Also SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND BUY A BRAND NEW ONE, SAVES THE HEADACHE!! I bought mine from GoFast Electronics.
