Just bought PS3 Dangerous Hunts 2013 for my son for Christmas. There is no way that I can see to calibrate the gun. So you can't "point and shoot". Takes too long to aim. Very frustating. Probably just wasted 79 bucks. I'm using it on a 55" Sony. Seems to work a little better the farther away I stand, but I went back 12-14 feet and it was still way off, and that's as far away as I can get.

Have read the same complaint on several forums. Wish I would have read them before buying it...

Out of the box the led power indicator for the sensor bar was malfunctioning. A resistor fell off the board probably during shipping, and was rattling inside the housing, so I had to solder it back on.

No calibration for the gun what so ever. Innacurate, laggy, and the heart beat sensors are really pissing me off. Sometimes it takes more than 30 seconds to get lock on an animal despite holding both sensor pads firmly and not freaking out during that time.

Swithched back to the original PS3 controller and all is well.

I feel that the game should have been Move compatible, or, at the very least, not being sold at a premium price just because it comes with a paperweight gun.

The game is pretty good with solid graphics and gameplay overall.

If Activision would release a patch for the game to add a calibration menu, and loosen up on the heartbeat sensor zoom requirements, I'd gladly buy another. But as it stands right now, it's a turd that needs polishing and never should have been released in its current state.

I spent $70 on this item and I must say it is absolutely not worth the money. The gun is horrible and hard to control the game with. If there was a way to calibrate the gun so you could actually aim with it then I would give the game a higher rating, but since you can't adjust it, don't buy the game. Really isn't all that fun to play.

The game is bad only basic elements of real hunt... with same success instead of animals could be zombies you should fight back waves of ugly animals attacks shouting crazy like in DOOM. The gun is terrible, operates through chip plactic sensor operating with 2 AA batteries which plays role of move sensor was it so difficult to do the gun which will operate through regular PS3 moove sensor why invent a new wheel? Good calibrartion is impossible, VERY USER UNFRIENDLY !!! Now I use ussual dualshock works much better. But the game is a BIG frustration, The Gun is a Huge frustration. Kids wanted to return but "Toys R Us" does not take software back. I`m surprized that ACTIVISION did this S..T
