I bought 3 of these controllers and here is my basic opinion:

Pros:

Comes in retail packaging

Works great for most PS3 games

Shipping was very fast (3 days)

Dualshock vibration just like the Sony kind

Holds a charge for over 6 hours :)

Cons:

Buttons feel light at times, during longer game play

No usb included

No manual included

Doesnt have that nice glossy look / felling from Sony

Overall, I rate this controller 4 out of 5 stars which is pretty good if you compare with the cheaper controllers selling from china. I bought a 3rd party controller from ebay and it was completely crappy, as far as joysticks and buttons, and never held a decent charge. This controller by UTR is a breath of fresh air to non-sony controllers and I recommend this vs cheaper generic controllers

Here's what I like about these controllers. Ordered 2 by the way. They are very light weight and really responsive to my PS3. Here are a few things worth noting. The D-pads are a little stiff (will require some heavy use to break in) and the controllers did take a long time to register with my system. One thing I love about them is the battery life. Since I use my PS3 for movies (Netflix, Prime, BluRays, etc.) I love that these automatically turn off when dormant for more than 5 minutes. That's something I can't say for my stock controllers. I'm usually recharging them all the time for this same reason. For this price, trust me, get them. You won't be disappointed.

and spend the extra $$ on the original controller.

The damn joysticks are hard to move and don't have the same sensitivity as original. Racing games are a NIGHTMARE, instead of turning you drifts.(gran tourismo etc.)

The controller also loses sync with the PS3 a lot.

The controller sometimes "links" correctly and works fine the other times it will not link and you will have to turn it off and on. Is not a big deal but it bothers. The motion sensor is not perfect. Some movements are not correctly detected.
