The batteries fell out the second time we used this and the drumsticks broke on the third time. The batteries in the end made them very unwieldy to use because of the weight difference. All in all not a very useful product.

Bought a pair because I was willing to spend the 300 extra box for the custom drum set that has adjustable cymbals and silencing heads. These sticks negate that. Lights are cool but, they loosen at the joints after one song and most of all add an annoying click clack sound when you strike them on the drum heads. Stick to the normal type or a fancy painted pair.

These drumsticks were actually a lot nicer than I expected. My son plays hard and they lasted through it all... Until, one dropped on the floor... All in all, they were good sticks... Just don't let the hit the ground ;)

The glow drumsticks take a total of 4 AAA Batteries, and only glowed for about an hour before that stopped working. The drumsticks broke about 2 days later. They were bought to be used to play RockBand, and were only used on the lightweight drum kit that comes with Rock Band. I'm sure they would have broken even sooner if they had been used with a real drum kit. Total junk.
