When I purchased one last year, they had better reception, both for ps3, and for completely syncing up to a PC, now something was changed, the reception doesn't go far at all, and it's easily interrupted. If you're right by your PS3 or PC this is fine but being on the other side of a medium sized room makes the controls very laggy, if not even work at all. I'd recommend trying to find something different. The controls are built well, feel solid, the controllers fits in the hand very well, but the reception is terrible now.
