As somewhat of a Japan-ophile, I love Japanese baseball, so this game is right up my alley, but even if I just liked baseball, it would still get five stars. PBS 2011 isn't for everyone, which, quite frankly, is one of many reasons I enjoy it. While in many ways it is quite similar to other baseball titles for PS 3 (I also have MLB 11 The Show), this is baseball as played in Japan. That means irrepressibly noisy, drum-beating fans in the stands; smaller ball parks; an emphasis on small ball over power; and rosters manned not by the usual American multi-millionaire jocks but their Japanese counterparts. All of this is represented with surprising accuracy, and if, like me, you are a fan of プロ野球, you'll have a blast with PBS 2011. However, note the use of kanji in this review. PBS 2011 is Japanese in presentation as well as game play. That means the commentary is Japanese (quite cool) and the text for functions and menus is written in kanji (still cool, but sometimes baffling). You can find online sources providing translations for PBS or, like me, you can jump in and learn by doing. This is possibly one of the best baseball games I've played in a while. Being a baseball junkie, I always look for the perfect baseball game and this game is right on the money. The gameplay is pretty much at the same level as the Show (and light-years ahead of 2K) with the exception that this game isn't about MLB. There are some differences in the interfaces for pitching and hitting but nothing to get upset about. The gameplay is smooth and the pitching interface is real good. The hitting is pretty easy to get used to and the fielding is on target. The stadiums look awesome and the crowds are always into it. You may want to look up websites to help you translate the text but other than that, a very good baseball game that definitely beats most baseball games out there. I highly recommend this game. You will love it.

When I bought this I had never played any of the franchise, and after seeing the latest installment coming in of American history I was super interested, as I Talked to people it was going to be in a way of a continuation of the previous 4 games. I figured it was high time I found out who Altaïr and Ezio was. With in the first few hours I would hooked. I blew through the first game only missing a few flags in about 20 hours. I'm nearly done with the second game, the Assassin's network established by Ubi Soft tracks my progress. I'm 80% through currently. Missing mostly feathers which I'll get later. I'm being told that the Brotherhood is the best in the series. As far as game play content goes, The story Arc with desmond is a side note, and something that I've not thought about at all. This game is one of the worrst in NFS series, Ive never felf so disapointed with an NFS game, 1st is extremely short, then the driving is so unrealistic, the story is boring, the only good point i can mention in the engine's sound of every car is almost like the real ones. But apart from that this game is a waste of time, I felt like I was plating on my old PS2 and not in a PS3. Luckily i found somebody that wanted to try it so I traded it for GRID, wich despite is almost a year older it's a much better game.Buy Need for Speed: Undercover Now

Nice to have a non-track NFS on the PS3. But it's still only kinda open world-ed. There really is no point to explore since you can jump straight to each race or shop by pressing the down button or accessing the GPS. It's weird that the GPS doesn't guide you around town like in previous titles. Cut scenes are over the top cheesy. Upgrading cars is simpler. No more brand names like HKS and Turbonetics to upgrade the same part. Sometimes it seems like the racing is too fast for the PS3 to draw in the road ahead. Confusion and crashes follow. This game pays tribute to the story telling style of Martin's books by switching perspective every chapter. The only issue for the game is that this creates a very linear and limited story line. You can not leave the cities you are at or do many side quests since you will have to end at a set point to pick up with the new perspective.

Obviously it doesn't have six axis and you can't turn on the system but you can turn it off. But the controller is a little bit heavier and it feels a little wider because the outer grips are more narrow shaped. I laid one on top the other (Sony) and it's very noticeable. This controller is also taller because of the battery housing which for me it feels like there is more reach or space in between when using the L/R buttons on top and triggers on the bottom. Compared to the Sony controller this one also has a bit more plastic and that added with the weight of the batteries makes it feel more durable. So if you got bigger hands or you like to have a firm grip for me this controller felt a little bit more comfortable and definitely worth the reduced cost. I must state ahead of time that I'm not a fan of the official Sony PS3 controller as I find it to be too light in my hands. I'm always on the lookout for a second controller that feels right. This Logitech controller is a mixed bag of good and bad. First, the good. The controller is a little heavier than the standard pad, and feels really good in your hands. I wouldn't go as far as to say that it's more solid, but it's definitely heavier and the ergonomics are nice. The analog sticks are far superior to the standard pad, as they don't give as easily. Aside from this, however, the cons war outweigh the pros. The D-Pad feels extremely loose and has an audible click with every press, which is never a good sign for a controller. The face buttons are alright, but the shoulder buttons are just off. L1 & R1 feel very loose and also click, but L2 & R2 don't give enough -you really have to force them down to get the full range of the triggers. When it comes to intangibles, this controller does not feature any motion sensitivity or force feedback. It does have a feature that allows you to switch the function of the D-Pad with the left analog stick, but it doesn't translate as well as I would have hoped. All in all, this is a decent second controller for your PS3. Highly recommended for shooter fans because of the analog sticks, but everyone else should be cautious. I got this controller on sale for about half the price of a new Dualshock 3, and I'm happy to say that it's actually really good. Logitech continues the tradition of quality products. The controller is much more comfortable to hold than the Sixaxis and it has far superior analog sticks, especially if you're going to use it to play shooters. This was a serious aid to my SOCOM game (or lack thereof). I was pleased with the overall quality of this controller. It can even be used to play PS2 games, which most third-party PS3 controllers cannot. It uses a USB dongle to connect to the PS3, so you never lose connection, and so far the battery life has been great (1 month with one set of batteries). It also has the PS button to interact with the Ps3's system functions.
