This charger burned and melted my controller. I immediately contacted the company and, weeks later, got a response asking me to send back the product. I sent it back a month ago and have heard nothing in response, nor received a replacement, refund, or any sort of compensation or communication since. I do NOT recommend this company or its products and warn any and all from purchasing anything from CTA.Buy Vertical Induction Charger for 3 PS3 Controllers Now
I love this charger. It's so easy to use and it works great. Like others have said it does do a clicking sound, but either it's faded over time or I got so used to it that I don't even notice it anymore. I've had the device for about 2 months now, but now I have a problem with it that I need to figure out.My third charging section had actually MELTED the controller clip and it stopped functioning. I'm a little worried about using it now (the other two sections that is) as I wonder if the thing is a fire hazard or not...

This is a great charger. The pieces that fit on the controllers are light and easily go into the controllers. The controllers rest to charge with no hassle. Great solution without worry of damaging your controllers like other chargers. Slightly more expensive, but well worth the 10 or 15 dollars more you pay.Want Vertical Induction Charger for 3 PS3 Controllers Discount?
BLIND:The City of Cincinnati has requested that you please make the blue glowing LED brighter, as it currently only lights up a two block radius.
DEAF:
The awesome loud clicking sound makes movie night that much better. Who wouldn't want to hear the sweet soothing sound of electrical switches flipping continuously?
DUMB:
It's super great for making that fourth controller of mine feel completely left out.
Also, the first unit crashed and burned after about a week. And one of the three charging inserts doesn't actually work. The good news is its actually made out of black plastic.

Your guitar will be better to carry!I hated the straps that I received with the Wii Fender Bass and Guitar. They slipped off constantly (not fun mid-song!), and were boring black. These are basically normal guitar straps and work great for playing Wii instruments. The opening will stretch eventually (especially the top one), but the knob for the Fender guitar and bass unscrews and you can screw the top section down, keeping it nice and secure. These look GREAT with the pink Fender bass and the periwinkle-blue Fender guitar. (I also have the "Police Line DO NOT CROSS" pack, which I use on my Gretsch guitar.) You can sling them super low, if that's your thing, too. They're also really inexpensive and high quality.

The quality of this product is fine. The problem is with the total lack of customer support. The Stash Box we received had parts missing, namely the pins that hold the adjustable shelf. I went to the website listed to find out how to get the replacement parts. All numbers listed are Canadian. They will not talk to you if you are in the U.S. You are told to call the U.S. number by the customer rep, but they do not know what the number is. Everything you can access online is Canadian. In short, we now have a storage box with no means of using the shelf. I would highly recommend that you DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING from this company. I won't.

you can make that yourself slap some crap together maybe use a few screws i don't know get creative. whatever you come up with it has got to be better than this. there are no slots to seperate anything, nothing, no design. who gets paid for this crap. a kid flunking out of shop class can make this, no offense if your that kid. i guess it could work if you want to pull other things off the shelf when you grab a particular item, or even better yet knock something behind it forcing a beloved video game r movie to fall out of the case and get scratched. ;(Buy Stash Box Video Gaming Accessories Storage - Yellow Now
I am going to attach a video of this storage stand along with the attached GameOn Video Gaming Console Storage Yellow. For the longest time I had the top part and had it sitting on the floor. A lot of people said that it looked really cheap and took away from the decor of my living room. I wasn't sure if I should just throw it away and buy something else. The only problem was that nothing else was really made that I liked. Most console stands either looked cheap or took up too much space. I'm not saying that this stand is perfect, but it isn't bad. The first issue I have is the price. I do believe the price should be set at a better price point for what you receive. The second point is that Cambre should sell both as a set. The set will probably sell well at $99.99.
Now to the construction. The construction is strong sturdy wood. I'm not sure if it's pressed wood because every part is covered with yellow, and can't see any signs of painted pressed wood. If I had to guess I'd say it's real wood, but don't quote me on that. The product is heavy and sturdy. You're provided with a lot of heavy duty bolts and screws. Both bottom and top pieces fit well together, as there are four holes where a screw locks into a nut that connect the two pieces from each accessory. The screws fit in well, and anybody can put this together with ease by just looking at the pictures provided.
There are plenty of heavy duty screws if you'd like to attach it to the wall, but I feel that defeats the purpose because ventilation is limited due to the console being close to the wall. I just have mine sitting on the floor.
The one con I see with the top accessory is that I feel like it was designed for a white system like the Wii. I wish there were black holders on the top to accommodate the black consoles.
Pretty much now, I get the usual compliment of "Hey, I like that!" After receiving that compliment I cannot dog this product out, and have to get credit where credit is due. Great job from the USA to the Great White North ay!

This is a really fun game to play. When you shoot the enemy you get an x-ray view of the bullet and the damage it does in slow motion. It's freaking awesome. The only complaint I have is that playing online with some buds is EXTREMELY BORING!!! You can sit in the same place for the entire game and never even see the people you're supposed to shoot! Sorcery should have been one of the Move launch titles because not only does it take full advantage of both the Move and the Nav controllers but it does it in a fun, energetic and often imaginative way.
THE STORY
Sorcery is NOT an open world adventure. It's highly scripted and it follows the story of a fairy tale where you are the sorcerer's apprentice on a quest to, of course, rescue the charming princess who... but we're not supposed to reveal the plot, right? It's probably Okay to note that the story is a lot closer to a Brothers Grimm tale than Tolkien's.
I can reveal that you go through the story, page by page, chapter by chapter and, as you overcome increasingly difficult challenges, your sorcery skills grow. I've only covered the first 5 or 6 chapters so far and I'm looking forward to playing some more after I'm done spreading the word through this review :)
GAMEPLAY
Sure, there's a story and sure there's adventure and exciting combat but a lot in Sorcery is about showcasing the Move controller which is why I thought this should have been a launch title.
You would normally play standing up because there's a lot of wand waving, shaking and turning. You move in the world and initiate certain actions through the Nav controller and you cast spells, aim them and perform various other combat actions such as shield-bashing with the Move. It's hard to describe and it does involve learning new skills and it requires some coordination and good reflexes but you are learning things and tricks as you go and you have the opportunity to practice a lot on the weaker enemies before you fight the first really difficult boss.
From time to time you do die but you simply get back to where you were before the last battle started. It sounds like too easy but combat is hard and you may end-up dying 5 minutes into the battle so if you manage to die a couple of times in a boss battle it CAN be painful.
Like I said, the game is highly scripted and sometimes the dialogues that make sense the first time you engage into some specific melee don't the next time you face the exact same enemies how many times can you be 'surprised' that a certain enemy is immune to a certain spell and then here your wise companion suggesting that maybe you should try something else?
Oh, and there are several levels of difficulty. I'm surviving on the normal level but I can see how very challenging it would be to beat the game while playing in the hardest mode.
OVERALL QUALITY
The graphics are so-so, not exactly impressive with most of the enemies looking like Macy's parade floats but they fight... not too well or too smart but their relative ineptitude is more than made up by their numbers. Or this seems to be the case so far.
What makes the game fun is the original Move-based combat system. You get to use specific gestures to select your spell and specific moves to aim it including the equivalent of throwing curve balls. The Move-as-a-wand is also your key to opening doors, the stir when you make potions and the shield when you must deflect incoming missiles or bash back enemies that get too close. The Move interface is surprisingly good, precise and responsive.
THE FUN FACTOR AND MY RATING
Scripted as it is, the game has been very fun to play so far. My first 5-6 hours of playtime took me through several chapters. It's hard to tell how far from endgame I am now but I assume there must be at least a dozen hours or so left to play because there seems to be more powerful spells to learn, potions to make and tougher bosses left to defeat.
I'm giving the game 5 stars in the 'fun' category but I am not going to rate it as a 5-star overall, mainly because of the poor graphics quality and the overscripted and almost dumbed-down story line but this is not why most of as are going to play this game. As bad as the graphics are, the active waving of wands is immersive enough to make Sorcery a fun little game to play.

UPDATE: I'm downgrading this game on the fun factor after playing 95% of the game because there are a *number* of annoying problems with this game. At times, the frustration really makes you want to stop playing.**Be advised that you cannot play this game without the PlayStation Move, it might not be the clearest in the description, but it's clearly labeled on the box. You can't even start the game without calibrating the Move controller. **
After forcing gamers to wait way too long for a game that was originally a launch title, Sorcery is finally here, and it was worth the wait. The 1:1 tracking of the Move controller showcases the motion controller gaming like it was demoed, and it's quite fun using the controller as your magic wand. There are times it can be oversensitive, and you might miss your targets, but you'll get used to it over time.
Move controls include swiping left and right to move objects, drawing circles to 'mend' broken objects, and flicking your wrist to cast spells accurately based on how high you aim and what direction (and many more). Potions that you can craft are activated by shaking the motion controller, and then tipping it upside down like you are drinking the potion. Twisting your wrist and flicking to the side can also curve your spells which is fun to do and satisfying when you hit enemies behind cover with your spells.
This is definitely not the greatest game ever made. The game world is incredibly linear, annoyingly so. Instead of an adventure game that allows exploration and back-tracking, this game *prevents* backtracking after you move onto the 'next area'. So far, I have not been able to return to areas previously missed, and with trophies for finding all of the treasures, this is screaming the word annoying the entire way home. Some places the game does not tell you which is the "main" path, and some times you will find chests like you hope and other times you will skip them completely because the game only lets you move forward. While there are treasures to be found and sold, you are always restricted to following the path the game wants you to go; invisible walls are EVERYWHERE.
The Move is very accurate at spellcasting. However, since the game has a feature which allows you to curve your spells by 'side-casting', I found myself twisting the Move wand in my hand. If the Move wand isn't held correctly in your hand, I found that Finn will not cast any spells no matter how hard I tried. The movements which are required to 'select' your spells are a bit awkward and hard to do correctly and consistently while being in tight combat situations. When it works it's great, but when it's not, eh, not so much.
Voice acting is pretty good, although you can tell that it is more centered towards younger crowds. You get tired of hearing "Oh, you showed that rock!" pretty quickly. This actually improved as the game went on, no problems with the voice acting in this game.
There are 3 levels of difficulty, Casual, Gamer, and Hardcore. I've heard that there is a 4th difficulty which can be unlocked by beating the game the first time. I'll be able to confirm this in the next few days.
The combat in this game is *surprisingly* unforgiving. There have been a number of times where I have been knocked down or frozen, only to be knocked down and/or frozen as soon as I get back on my feet. I'm playing the game on CASUAL difficulty and I have died a number of times in some pretty ridiculously overwhelming combat scenarios. If you're looking at this game for someone who has never played video games, you may want to warn them that it's not going to be a cakewalk.
One last gripe, the save system. This is just atrocious, and I'm really hoping that it's something they patch on a future date. The game gives you the opportunity to "save the game", but this just saves it at the waypoint you LAST found, and nothing after that. Keep this in mind when you meet the alchemist and mix 4 different potions and then you die in the next encounter. (I just encountered this at a boss fight; made 4 or 5 potions, and was creative about how I chose my potions, etc. Boss killed me, and I started before talking to the alchemist, no potions mixed, and all of my stats were reset. The thought of having to do this 20 times if that's how many tries it takes to kill the boss just is *incredibly* annoying. You've been warned.
I can't say that this game would force me to buy a PlayStation Move if I didn't already own one, but it has definitely solidified my purchase from years ago, and I don't regret owning this thing anymore. This is one game that you'll definitely want to play to show your friends how the Move works. Adding in the spell combinations that can be unlocked later in the game, this game is inventive in ways that most games could only dream of. The spell combinations are surprisingly satisfying, and you'll have fun slinging your Move wand around throwing the various spells at different enemies.First, let me say that the Move controls are great! The game functions (for the most part) as advertised. I would definitely say the game is worth $20, but no more. It is way too short! I was not expecting Skyrim, but 6 hours is the most you can squeeze out of this game. I beat it on the next to highest difficulty, but there is absolutely no reason to go through it again, other than bragging rights (and let's be honest, who cares?). I had fun, but once it ended I felt completely ripped off! I have paid a lot less for downloadable games with more content!! As I said $20 is a decent price and it might be worth it, but $40 is way too high!

If you are looking for a title that uses both the Move and navigation controller, then this is the one for you. After playing this game you can fully realize the potential of the Move controller. I would say that this title is probably the best Move title that I have played to date.GRAPHICS
The graphics won't be taking on a title like Crysis by any means but they are still pretty good. The art design of the game is interesting and the array of characters and enemies I have encountered are unique. Cutscene art is interesting and is done in a style that makes sense and works for this game.
VOICE ACTING
The voice acting isn't going to win a 'best of' award but it is pretty solid.
GAMEPLAY
The gameplay is unique, providing an experience that can be addictive at times. The Move controller is used as a wand and the navigation controller is used to move your character around. The Move button is used with specific move control gestures to change spells, and it works seamlessly. This is the Harry Potter game people were looking for when Harry Potter was still relevant. Better late than never. There is also a potions mixing mini game so to speak. Your permanent ability increases are handled by researching and discovering new potions to increase your overall health, mana, etc. An interesting aspect to health potions is that you need to shake the bottles up with the Move controller and then tilt the controller to drink them. Drinking the health potion is done in real time, which adds some excitement if your health is aleady low because you can still take damage while trying to drink the potion. You can tell that the game developers put a lot of time into integrating as much Move motion controls into the game as possible. The good thing about it is, they did it without forcing it. Each move makes sense in the context of it's application in the game and the environment.
The fighting in the game is enjoyable and satisfying. Casting spells is fairly accurate although I have experienced the occasional errand cast. Enemies are designed such that certain elemental types affect them more than others. The developers made a deliberate effort to send enemies at you in groups that require you to switch spells often. For example, shield bearing enemies are impervious to all spells as long as they still have their shield. This requires you to cast an earth borrowing type of spell to hit them and make them drop their shield. The earth spell doesn't do much damage, so your are then forced to switch back to your Arcane Bolt in order to damage them. You can also combine a number of spells for increased damage. For example, you can lay down a wall of fire to keep enemies at bay and then cast a whirlwind, which combines with the fire making a fiery tornado. This tornado will suck enemies up into the funnel as they enter the tornado's path and do massive damage.
One draw back is related to character movement. I have had issues with movement where my character gets temporarily stuck when trying to move. It hasn't happened a lot, but when it does it can be annoying.
STORY
The story is about a young apprentice wizard that, due to circumstances as the story unfolds, is reponsible for protecting a princess. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll leave it at hat. There is more to the story than I expected for a Move title. It's no Heavy Rain by any means in that department, but it also is no Super Mario Brothers either. The story is enough to keep you interested without affecting the action and pacing of the game.
There is an epicness that surrounds getting new spells that as the game progresses you get the real sense that you are becoming a more powerful wizard, even if physically you still look like a puny apprentice.
SOUND
The sound is pretty good in this game. There is an orchestral score that adds ambience that is not obtrusive and pleasant to hear without becoming repetitive.
SCORE/RATING
As far as Move games are concerned, I would give this title 5 stars. The game is shorter than I would like, but I think it demonstrates the Move better than any other title I have played to date.
As for racking it up against other titles across all control types, I would give it 4 to 4.5 stars. There are enough minor things that need improvement that I can't flat out give it a 5 star rating overall. If they gave it another 6 months of polish the game might have earned 5 stars because it definitely is 5 stars in terms of fun.
As a gamer I think the game is a buy.SORCERY REVIEW
The game itself is very fun. The graphics are mediocre but the two main characters (one you control and the cat sidekick) have a really good story and voice acting. This surprised me in a very nice way. This is the first full game (not party games) I have ever played with motion controls that actually felt like the controls were a positive and not some side gimmick to sell extra controllers. The Move controller works well with the spells and it feels good plus there are some strategies. I would recommend the navigation controller for moving your character around. The camera can be slightly off at times but it's not a big concern.
My 7 year old son played most of the time (I played a little myself, especially in the hard parts) with me watching a lot. We've also had it on the lowest difficulty (apprentice) so he doesn't get frustrated and for the most part he rarely died. There are six different powers you accumulate throughout the game (like earth, wind, fire, ice, and lightning) and that keeps it fun and interesting. The game is a bit short as it took us around six hours to complete. I don't think it's fair to compare game length of a $40 game to a full $60 game though so I didn't have an issue with this. I would suggest playing on a harder difficulty so it takes a little longer but I have no clue how hard the game is on the higher difficulties (there are four settings).
The time you are playing is fun and the new powers the game introduces keeps the game from feeling repetitive. There are actually quite a few things to do with the six main powers you get through the game (secondary things with them too) plus a shield. The games powers and controls develop nicely so you are never confused as to how to do things. Some enemies can only be hurt by certain powers so you have to figure that out as you go. Some powers can be combined as well for some cool effects.
You can't jump up on things and the game is fairly linear and pushes you in the right direction which is a good thing for younger gamers. Some different potions you get also add some variety although this is an area where we have neglected to a degree. You have to collect a bunch of things and try mixing them together which provide powers and upgrades for your abilities. There are tons of slots for new potions and upgrades and I don't know if we got half of them. There is an alchemist who shows up occasionally that you can buy and sell stuff and I think we screwed that part up. Since we are on Apprentice it didn't hurt us too much. One thing that hurt us initially was not realizing you had to switch to the ingredients tab to test combinations for potions in order to be able to create them on the powers/upgrade tab.
There are a decent variety of enemies throughout the game with some cool boss battles, especially at the end. The motion controls are fun to use and don't feel like a gimmick. The story was really good and my son loved this game. I have to admit I enjoyed watching and playing quite a bit myself. Definitely a worthwhile purchase for the family.

Package came a day before estimated delivery which was nice and nothing was wrong with the way it was shipped. A NOX product of course it is amazing. Doesn't degrade the sound quality or microphone quality. Enough cord to sit across the room even. Runs perfectly have had no problems setting up or using. If you have the Gaming Specialist headset and not this (if you use a ps3 or XBOX360 ) You should definitely look into getting this for your gaming. As the product says it does work for other headsets! Great product! It's also a plus that it works for other gaming headsets so you don't have to buy a new one that will just work with this.Buy Negotiator Gaming Adaptor Now
The adapter is very simple to use and I have had no issues with the sound quality. It had a humm/buzz at first but restarting the console fixed the problem, and I haven't heard it since. It has an optical audio cord which is nice and it even has a balancer to adjust the volume between audio and chat.
This is probably the best cheap option to set up a headset to the Xbox or PS3.
The only con is that the adapter is not compatible with USB headsets.
Also, if you want to use this with an HDMI cord you have to split the Xbox 360 original a/v cord housing in half to make room, there are tutorials on youtube on how to do this it's actually very simple. This is an Xbox fault, not a fault of this product.
Overall I was very satisfied with how the adapter performed.

I bought a plantronics gaming head set from amazon and figured i buy this thing so i could use it on my xbox. I could not have been anymore wrong, this does NOT BRING ANYTHING TO ATTACH A USB HEAD SET WITH!!!And not only that honestly there is nothing u can buy that would make a plantronic hs work with this it is not universal at all!. For all that money it cost to even buy you would think it had an adapter for usb head sets but noooo.
For the money your better off just buying an x12 hs for xbox and a cheap mm to usb adapter which actually exists! Than this 40 buck useless adapter
UPDATE!
in response to comments made on my review after i wrote mine letting everyone know this adapter does not work with usb headsets. some individuals say its my fault for not reading the product description correctly, even though no where on the manual of this adapter and even on the website does it say specifically that it does not work with usb headsets, on the contrary they stress universal and that it works on all headsets. in fact this is the headline if you go to nox's website
"Negotiator
Gaming Adapter
Connect and utilize any standard stereo or PC headset to the XBOX 360(tm), PS3® or PC to transform and intensify the gaming experience."
i bought this adapter and even in the manual it says "connect usb headset to standard pc adapter" which again does not exist, the positve reviews on this adapter are suspect, whats even more funny is that being that i have the only negative review, all of a sudden people are coming out of nowhere trying to attack and flame it, why didnt they positively review in the first place and let everyone know that its not for usb headsets? they sound more like a company trying to protect a product that is falsely advertised, please check the review histories of people who positively rate this adapter and you can discern for yourself whether or not they are suspect.
just so you know this adapter is useless, it works on really old pc headsets that are obsolete, type in amazon Stereo pc headset the only ones worth buying will all be usb! and of course the one that i bought Plantronics will pop up as "standard pc headset" which this adapter does not work for even though it says it does.
Update
be wary of reviewers that say this adapter works on all headsets just look at the first person to review this adapter even that person believed this works with all headsets, i would bet they are company generated, so far 3 reviewers are attacking this review trying to diminish its impact on your decision, this adapter isnt worth the 15 dollars it is now since my review it went from 40 dollars to 15 (because its worthless) it went from 1 review to 3 and my review is getting all the attention because it is a negative one,
"please look up reputation management" i have written many negative reviews on amazon and never received allot of attention on them and better yet i never saw profiles that i suspected to be fake or used by someone for damage control or to sway a negative review to the benefit of the product, that ALL CHANGED ONCE I REVIEWED THIS. which is why im am done responding to comments on this review.
i still stand by my review and it will stay as a warning to let other's know that this adapter is a huge waste of money

I picked this up wanting a game that wasn't about killing and fighting and something that young kids (7-10) could both master and enjoy. I'm not disappointed.
The game is obviously platformed for kids. It's not too difficult and actually acts as an excellent tutorial on working the controller's many buttons and levers.
Aside from the actual game, there's also a mini-arcade, which consists of several stand-alone games which can be played one by one or on a tournament basis. Up to eight players can play at one time.
The game allows you to chose between several characters and pick your own musical selections and locations, keeping it from getting too boring. If you're looking for something the whole family can enjoy, this is a good bet.

My daughter and I played the first Madagascar and had a ball. It's nice to see that the second Activision movie tie-in is also lots of fun. Both movie games take the tack of not trying to walk you through the movie but instead focusing on the basic plot elements and wrapping them around fun things to do.In Madagascar 2: Escape from Africa, you take the role of each of the main characters in the movie. You wander around the landscape fairly openly, switching from one to another at will. As you interact you can decide to help various other characters, and that's what drives the gameplay. For example, Alex the lion scares off a series of other lions by roaring at them, one at a time. Gloria the hippo tucks herself into a ball and "bowls a strike", trying to knock over all ten pins. The games get more complicated--you play the penguins driving a jeep, and have to ram each car in a convoy in succession, and each needs to be hit a number of times.
The biggest success of this game however, is that it plays to its audience. Escape from Africa brings something to the table for children small and not-so-small. Tough quests aren't necessary. Failing a game gives you the option of going and doing something else. As I watched my 10-year-old daughter play, I also noticed that if she had a bit of trouble with a game--but tried it again--the game made itself progressively easier. Imagine the difficulty being like a "Pitch til U Win" game at the carnival.
This might also be its downside: older children highly experienced with these games might say, "That was too easy"...but still get a giggle or two. Younger children will be happy to have something they can play that also surrepetitiously gives them a helping hand. Either way, I can say that the content is perfect for families not only because nothing's inappropriate, but also because nothing is boring. Highly recommended for fans of the movie.

Nepgear and friends return with the brand new, third installment of the series, "Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory!" But how does this game compare to its predecessors? Let me highlight some of the major points for you! (Be warned that there are some very minor spoilers below; but only those that you would encounter about an hour or two into the storyline).
Story: You reprise your role as Neptune, the CPU (Console Patron Unit) of Planeptune who is also known as "Purple Heart" and is one of four goddesses. The duty of a goddess is to protect her homeland against invading forces, monsters and other entities that would seek to undermine the power and prosperity of their land. Each goddess is a representation of a console in the "console wars," and they all learn to respect one another and to cease warring against each other (occurred in "Hyperdimension Neptunia"). In Victory, Neptune is sent into a past, alternate dimension by a member of the "Seven Sages," an evil organization that is attempting to undermine the shares (or powers) of the current four goddesses. The plot is simple and straight-forward, but this didn't bother me in the least (even though I'm typically critical of RPG plots!).
Main Characters (not a complete list due to spoilers!) Neptune/Purple Heart: A ditzy, but light-hearted character who is the main character of the series. She loves to sleep and play video games, but hates working and tries to slack off as much as possible. She represents a cancelled, SEGA console.
Vert/Green Heart: She is a hardcore gamer that balances work and play as much as possible who is the protector of Leanbox (Xbox).
Noire/Black Heart: A hard-working and diligent goddess who tries to be as much of an individual as possible and has difficulty making friends. She protects Lastation (Playstation).
Blanc/White Heart: A quiet and serious goddess who spends much of her time reading and writing manga. When angered, she swears quite profusely and is the protector of Lowee (Wii).
Plutia/Iris Heart (New): The CPU of Planeptune in the alternate dimension that Neptune travels to. Her and Neptune have very similar personalities, but their CPU personalities are dramatically different.
Characters Overall: The characters are very interesting, well thought out and have a lot of personality. Neptune is still Neptune, Nepgear is still Nepgear, etc, etc. They've done a great job with bringing back our favorite characters and breathing new life into them and putting them into hilarious situations. Let me just tell you, that the dialogue at times is very suggestive whenever Iris Heart appears, but you'll often find yourself just shaking your head and laughing hysterically (I know I did!). Let's just say that if you enjoyed MKII, you'll love this installment too. Or if you hated playing as Nepgear, but love Neptune, well... stop fretting. Neptune is the main character obviously, so she's back in full force! And you'll finally get to see what the world would be like if there were (almost) two Neptune's in it at once!
Mechanics for Fans of the Series: Victory plays a lot more like "Hyperdimension Neptunia MKII" than it does the first installment (which is a good thing, in my opinion)! They haven't changed a whole lot of the mechanics, but have most certainly tweaked a few things here and there. Such as, there is no longer an "AP Mechanic", you now only use SP and you use a percentage of your total SP to transform into your CPU form. Since there is no AP, you now also can stay in CPU form as long as you are not infected by a virus or killed in battle. There are new things such as "Scouts," which you will use in an attempt to find new areas, discover new monsters in previously visited areas, or enable an increase to XP/Coins found in an area. The list goes on, but just know that the gameplay is more like MKII than anything else with just some minor adjustments. The only sad thing is you can longer do multiple actions, since they did away with the AP system (you can longer use items and skills during the same turn, you must do one or the other).
Mechanics for Newcomers: The only game I can think of that I have played that is somewhat similar to this games mechanics is the .hack//GAMES franchise. You wander around dungeons in a similar fashion, there are no "random encounters" and the monsters are pre-placed. Additionally, you can create combos of your choice and I think that this is an important aspect of the series, as it allows for more customization of your squad. For instance, ▲ combos release a flurry of attacks which quickly raise your EX Gauge in order to allow your squads to unlock an even higher combo count. ■ combos are hard powered attacks which do extra damage if the enemies barrier (or shields) have been depleted. "X" combos are used to destroy enemy barrier/shields and do less actual physical damage to the enemy. This allows you to customize your team in which way you think best (such as having 2 characters who are shield destroyers, with one character being a heavy hitter. The drawback to this would be that your team lacks the ability to raise their EX Gauge quickly, resulting in fewer overall combos during battle, but allows you to destroy normal monsters/monsters with high shield capacities quickly). Your characters can typically fulfill one "role" well and one other decently with their allotted amount of points (the "roles" being: Combo Attacks/Power Attacks/Shield Attacks). Your characters can also transform into their "Goddess/CPU" forms once you have acquired their HDD (Hard Drive Divinity). This changes the description and names of their skills, increases their statistics dramatically and allows them access to their strongest abilities (mostly later in the game). I won't touch much more on this, but the combat system is VERY well done, and I've played a LOT of RPG's!
Soundtrack: As everyone who is a fan of the series knows, the first game had a very, very forgettable and repetitive soundtrack. Hyperdimension Neptunia MKII did a decent job, but Victory? Let's just say it's pretty dang amazing! Not the best soundtrack for an RPG I've ever heard, but definitely the best of the series and definitely deserves praise. This would all be thanks to Nobue Uematsu! If you pre-ordered this game (or if you're lucky enough to buy a game pre-packaged with the pre-order bonus), you get the soundtrack for free! Enjoy it! It's a great listen.
Dislikes: My biggest gripe with the game is that this is BY FAR the most difficult in the series. Meaning, at times you'll be walking through a dungeon, doing fine and then suddenly you'll be attacked by two normal monsters (who are around your level) but who are joined by two other monsters who are capable of literally ONE-SHOTTING you. There are NO "level suggestions" for dungeons, so save EVERY SINGLE CHANCE YOU GET, or you'll regret it and end up losing an hour or two of gameplay... trust me on this. A lot of the mini-bosses are a lot more challenging and more "on your level." Just watch out for those "SURPRISE 8D!" monsters that for some reason have a duo of level 45 monsters paired into the same group as a couple of level 30 ones, in a dungeon that was just revealed to you while you are still level 35. This game is easily three times more difficult than its predecessors, so just be aware of this and realize you'll be grinding a lot more than what you might be used to (but it isn't nearly as bad as Record of the Agarest War or games like that). Also, outfits are EXTREMELY expensive in this game, so don't expect to be able to do much customizing (appearance wise) early on. Last but not least, they added a "Challenge" system which gives you bonus stats and unlocks additional voices. Granted, this isn't a required thing (only a bonus), but there are some pretty ridiculous challenges (such as, Main Character jumps 700x, but this ONLY applies to the character you are currently playing)... but really, it isn't enough of a drawback to really take anything away from the game. Also, it is (nearly) impossible to get perfect scores on the "End of Chapter Grades" (which give items, weapons, etc.). This game seems like it was intentionally designed for New Save+ completionists; so don't get discouraged when you only get a 35/40 at the end of a chapter when you've been trying your hardest to get a perfect score on your first playthrough!
Would YOU Like This Game?: A few tips to help you figure out if you'll like the Hyperdimension Neptunia series:
You like anime/manga and are not easily offended by suggestive dialogue.
You like anime/manga and your mom isn't easily offended by suggestive dialogue.
You enjoy anime's with "transformation sequences."
You like RPG's and are interested in playing more "JRPG's" due to their aesthetic qualities.
You like an RPG that has a little bit of a "grind" to it, but doesn't overkill it.
You identify with and understand the term "moe," in regards to anime/manga.
You enjoy shows/games that have very cute and relatable characters.
You know how to take a joke and you don't take everything deathly-seriously... ... no, cerealy, seriously. If you can't take a joke, this game is DEFINITELY NOT for you!!!
You enjoy games that allow you to customize your characters in various cute outifts, customize their attack combos, and change their standard/goddess appearances.
You don't mind shows/games that have an all female-cast.
Suggestive anime artwork does not bother you (AKA: "Fanservice". Keep in mind this game is Rated "T", so there is no outright nudity. That being said, there is a moderate amount of fanservice in this game. If such a thing would upset you or someone who might watch you play, I would NOT recommend this game for you).
If you said "YES!" to all of these, this game is DEFINITELY the game for you and you would probably enjoy MKII as well (maybe even the original! But it's hard to go back once you've experienced the difference in combat/item mechanics). Even if you only said "Hmm, yeah" to about half of those, this game might very well interest you, so I would recommend you check it out!
Ending: Overall, this game is FANTASTIC and I've been loving every second of it. Once I played MKII, I immediately went out and bought Hyperdimension Neptunia and pre-ordered Victory. It's a fabulous series that brings witty banter, has a hilarious all-female cast and some really great battles. If you've been hesitant to try the series, stop fretting and just go out and get it! Just be aware of the TYPE of game you're buying and what you're getting into. Also, the game has original Japanese dialogue AND English voice-overs (with some higher-profile VA's!).
Lastly, this game kind of reminds me of Sailor Moon turned RPG... if that puts it into context for any of you!
Hope you enjoyed the review and feel free to ask questions! And if you don't like the game... well... Neptune has some words for you: "Well, just so you understand. Let's go and stick those protest signs somewhere less visible!"

When the first Neptunia was released a few years ago, it was essentially a moe-fied version of Trinity Universe with some rather bizarre tweaks to the combat system. Then a year or so later, we got Neptunia Mark II, which was much improved. Now we have Neptunia Victory, which once you get past all the moe-ness, is a very solid entry in the JRPG niche. Those familiar with the Neptunia franchise know basically what to expect in these games. There will be no male characters of any real importance, each of the main characters will be a moe anthropomorphism of one of the four major console companies (Sega, Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo), there will be a moderate level of suggestive humor, and there will be many jokes about the gaming industry. In this installment, however, there is quite a deep end enjoyable game beneath all the fluff.
Victory's combat system is a variant on the system used in most of the Idea Factory/Compile Heart games made in the last 5-6 years. In combat, there are rush, power, and break attacks. Rush attacks have a high hit count but are weak, power attacks deal high damage but have a low hit count, and break attacks tend to wear down the defenses of enemies. The AP system of the first two games has been done away with. Each character basically gets a fixed number of attacks per turn, possibly followed by an EXE attack. The EXE gauge is a limit break of sorts; it fills by taking and dealing damage. As the gauge fills, follow-up attacks to normal attacks and super-powerful special attacks (which deplete the gauge) become possible. There are a wide range of equippable follow-up attacks from powerful break attacks to attacks that inflict status ailments. Overall, combat is fast-paced and fun.
In addition, there is a great deal of strategy that can be used outside of combat. Other than just the standard front row vs. back row formation, it is possible to select exactly where characters deploy on the field. And, the Lily System is back. By pairing each character with a partner, special attacks and bonuses become available. New to Victory is the ability to equip game disks in combat which yield bonuses. Blank disks are found by advancing the quest rank, and by bringing a certain character key items dropped by powerful bosses. To equip a disk, it's first necessary to collect various chips found in dungeons, and then burn them to disc. There are vast number of chips available, including chips that offset damage, increase experience, fill the EXE gauge quicker, increase SP, and so forth. Of course, the catch is that only a certain number of chips can be burned to one disk. To equip new ones, the disk must be reformatted, and the old chips (or games) vanish. The game disks and the Lily System make for a very customizable experience.
And, of course, no Neptunia entry is complete without the series' trademark humor. Some of the humor does skew a little risque (one of the main characters' CPU forms this time around is a dominatrix who isn't shy about her proclivities), and there are plenty of jokes about breast sizes. Further, a running joke in the series has been to include cameos of the game's developers. The main characters will all find special abilities that they joke about not wanting to use; all of these will feature a cameo of one of the game's creators, and they are all ridiculously over the top. For instance, imagine the battleship Yamato whose bow has been replaced by the face of one of the developers whose eyes light up and shoot laser beams at the enemies. Well, after playing Victory, imagine no more. In addition, there are many references to combining robots, anime (with lots of Madoka references), and fairly biting insults to the various hardware manufacturers. For instance, there are thinly-veiled references to PSN outages, the size of the XBox controller, and Nintendo's outdated hardware.
Pros:
The combat and tactics are surprisingly deep.
The characters are cute.
The humor is well done; it is not nearly as forced as it was in the first two games.
The animations for special attacks are fun to watch (and they can be skipped when you get tired of seeing them).
The game is over-the-top in most aspects.
There are fun end of chapter cutscenes and minigames (like the Nepstation trivia segment).
Relies less on gimmicks than its predecessors.
Cons:
Those who do not enjoy moe character designs need not apply, and some may be put off by the mildly-risque humor.
The game can be repetitive and some grinding will be needed to farm special items for quests and synthesis.
There are a few instances of lazy design. Some dungeons are almost identical copies of others, and the same enemies are reskinned over and over.
The in-game tutorial is fairly complete, but sometimes certain things are a little fuzzy (for instance, the scoring on the end of chapter evaluations).
There are references to the first two games. I found this to be a plus, but it could have newcomers to the series scratching heads.
If you like your RPG's moe, then what are you waiting for? However, even those outside this target audience can still find plenty to enjoy.

Like most of the fans of this game, I pre-ordered the CE from NISA and it arrived promptly with awesome goodies. I encourage any fans of NISA games to buy/pre-order from their store when possible, the shipping is fast and I have Prime. We all probably spend way too much money on Amazon anyways. That said, the game itself is pretty awesome. Perhaps the biggest initial impact this third Hyperdimension Neptunia game had on me is the sheer amount of voiced dialogue it includes. Not only is it a massive increase on the first and especially second game but it literally dwarfs most other JRPGs. While the English VA is okay, the Japanese VA's (especially Neptune and Plutie) are simply stellar. So why should you buy this game? Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory is an atmospheric, quirky, fanservice filled JRPG with free-roam instanced combat and fun mechanics. It doesn't take itself too seriously, but the production value of the third installment gives a feeling of quality and the fun to be had while playing make this a worthwhile purchase. I encourage anyone who regularly plays NISA or Xseed published JRPG's (and Tecmo Koei no I guess...) to give this game a try. You needn't play the first 2, but a quick playthrough of the second may help in getting acquainted with the world and characters.
Quick note on the difficulty. While the first Hyperdimension Neptunia game was difficult due to the immature combat system, the introduction of positioning in the second game really made it much easier to steamroll most opponents. However, Victory seems to go out of its way to really push the player's skills and most difficult fights are heavily sink-or-swim, meaning you should be very aware of having the best gear and decent amounts of consumables at all times. I think this adds to the flavor and involvement of the game, but new players should take note of saving regularly and updating their inventory whenever possible. It's no big secret that the Hyperdimension series isn't exactly everyone's cup of tea. But for those who enjoyed the previous titles for their quirky humor and engaging battle system, then this is the game for you.
Fragfx Shark V2013 for PS3, PC and MAC - Wireless
List Price: Price Unavailable
Sale Price: $99.90
Today's Bonus:
I purchased the Fragfx Shark V2013 because I use to play 1st person shooters on the computer and felt like this would be great to have. I'm mainly using this controller to play Battlefield 3 (BF3). When I initially purchased the Fragfx controller, there weren't any reviews on the gameplay for BF3 so I'm baseing this review on that particular game.
Pros:
1. The mouse movement of the crosshairs is quick and accurate. (My sensitivity settings are 100% for the game and 2 on the nunchuck)
2. It's easier to manage the recoil when shooting from the hip or aiming down scope (ADS). On the heavy machine guns the crosshairs rise quickly, slowly moving the mouse to counter the recoil keeps you on target better than a PS3 controller.
3. The ADS button is located on the nunchuck which feels great in your hand while aiming and firing with the mouse.
4. When fighting close quarters especially in the buildings on the stairwells I was able to turn around quicker than my opponent and win those shootouts that use to leave me lying dead on the stairs.
5. The PS3 buttons are located on the mouse where your thumb naturally rests so it's easy to manipulate those buttons quickly with ease.
6. The scroll button on the mouse helps you crouch down or get in the prone quickly.
Cons:
1. I didn't witness any stair casing when I moved the mouse diagonally, however there is a slight bit of lag when moving the mouse around. The screen becomes kinda hazy when you move the mouse around. It's noticeably but not a show stopper.
2. The directional buttons are sometimes accidently press without me noticing it and when I aim in for a shot, I realize that I've changed the bullet rate from automatic to single shot. In addition the same thing happens to the sensitivity button on the nunchuck, it can be accidently moved while you're manipulating the thumb stick.
3. If you like to drive tanks in BF3 forget it! I had the sensativty up to 100% in the game and maxed out on the nunchuck and the main turret moved very slow. This only affects you when you're driving the tank or sitting in the 3rd seat. It works fine when you're the gunner.
4. Don't even attempt to fly a jet or fly a helicopter with the Fragfx! Just like the tank the controls are too slow to fly, however being a gunner in the attack chopper is fine.
5. I tried following the instructions and programming the Fragfx but still haven't quite figure out what I'm doing wrong so you may have to spend some time playing around with it to tweek the buttons to your game play.
The bottom line is it's a great controller, but I feel like $99 dollars is a little too steep of a price. It gets the job done, but not by any means flawless. At this time I have not tried it with any other games besides BF3. I hope this review help some of you make a decision especially if you play BF3.

I can't use a regular ps3 controller due to past brain injuries. So I started with the frag pro, got the frag-shark, and now this upgraded frag-shark v2013.So, I've had years of experience with these; through the ups and downs. lol
This new version is by far the best. Extremely easy to use. If you see a review with complaints about the mouse, or another aspect of the controller, it's probably due to not reading instructions. Which, can be difficult to understand.
Go to the web site and watch the detailed vids if you have problems.
That's all I have to say about this. If you don't like the controller; then sorry you couldn't get the two hand separation down. It was a necessity for me and took a few hrs, but not everyone is obsessed with eye-nuero-muscle/bla bla bla recoup connections.

I have had 4 of these devices over the last year & 1/2 and decided to get the v2013 just recently thinking all the glitches would be fixed but item arrived just like one of the other ones. Some of the buttons did not work so cannot get replaced i just have to ship it back and then get refund and start over. This has been the deal for last ~2 years, I was stubborn to attain warranty through square trade on my previous one and boy do I regret that.
Pros:
Great design, amazing response and great usage, makes you play very well once you get used to it.
Cons:
Seems like they don't test the units before shipping, waste of my time to receive an item and then have to return and purchase another? I will hold off now as much as I would like the FragFX but its just not worth the irritation while playing an FPS and certain buttons don't respond etc on a brand new unit.
All in all, great unit when it works, be warned and get a 3 year accidental warranty through SquareTrade, that should help you replace / get back your device investment if it happens to go bad, and it probably will.

The Fragfx Shark is a good device, but it isn't great. The mouse and nunchuck have a premium (not cheap) feel and they function well.My issue is that no matter how much I tune the in-game sensitivity (BO2) and the dead zone on the Fragfx I can't quite get it to feel right. It doesn't feel quite as smooth as PC FPS games feel. It helps when I'm sniping and it makes Halo Jumps and Dropshots (and Halo Jumps INTO Dropshots) much, much easier.
Still, after a few days and several hours with the Fragfx I'd say I prefer the Dualshock in some ways.
UPDATE #1: Well, I gave it a few more days and I was able to do what I couldn't do at the time of the above review. I found a setting that felt right. It's a delicate balance between game sensitivity and setting the dead zone wheel on the mouse. For me I put my Black Ops 2 sensitivity on 11 (Very High) and turned the Dead Zone all the way down (off). When playing with a Dualshock I was never able to get the sensitivity above 6 without feeling that I've lost control.
Again, this makes dropshots and halo jumps and Halo-jumps-into-dropshots super easy. The first time I Halo'd into a dropshot for a kill I felt like such a boss. lol.
I have upgraded my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars. Take enough time to find your sensitivity-dead zone combination and you'll be glad you made this purchase.
UPDATE #2: Before I got my Fragfx I'd rarely get a UAV in BO2. Yes I'm that bad. lol. Now things have opened up for me and I'm getting UAV-Hunter Killer-Counter UAV cycles so much that I'm considering using higher scorestreaks. I can win a good number of gunfights now because: A) With the Fragfx I can play on 11 sensitivity which means I can turn on people like a flash, and B) 9 out of 10 people don't handle dropshots well.
The moral of this story? The Fragfx takes some adjusting to. Go into Combat Training and get accustomed to your setup. It will take longer than an hour or a day. Of course you want a fairly high in-game sensitivity and a fairly low Dead Zone on the Fragfx. Once you get used to it you may love it as much as I do.
Want Fragfx Shark V2013 for PS3, PC and MAC - Wireless Discount?
mouse is too bulky, the OX buttons on the side is hard to press. hardly no deadzone calibration which means your mouse will get sticky in most of the games. they do have a sensitive tuning knob on it but what the heck, it does not help.So far the best product I tried is eagle eye. but i am having other issues with that too. see my review for detail.
Mad Catz Offically Licensed Major League Gaming Pro Circuit MLG Controller for Playstation 3
List Price: $99.99
Sale Price: $95.01
Today's Bonus: 5% Off
***DISCLAIMER*** This review was not written by a tournament going pro gamer (like the controller is marketed to) but by a hardcore gamer that enjoys and has access to all the consoles and a gaming capable PC. Thus, I had different expectations for it.
I purchased this controller after watching the MadCatz spokesperson demonstrate it during CES. What grabbed my interest was the modular nature of the controller (swap in different joystick/d-pad types at different positions depending on what style you like to use) and the "Reverse Trigger mode". Most shooters on PS3 map their Aiming/Shooting functions to the shoulder buttons instead of the analog triggers because the Dual Shock 3's triggers are crap for shooting games. This controller mode swaps L1 & L2, R1 & R2. Madcatz has really gone out of their way to change their image as a budget controller maker with their recent fighting game joystick products (I own 2 of them), so I felt pretty confident in giving them another shot.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase, but there is definitely room for improvement:
***PROS***
JOYSTICK AND D-PAD MODULES WORK AS ADVERTISED
The controller comes with (2) Playstation 3-style joysticks (convex, with same style of rubber on top), (2) Xbox 360 joysticks (concave, with the little rubber nubs on the edges of the joystick top), (1) PS3 style D-pad and (1) Xbox 360 style D-pad. The only limitation you have is that you cannot put D-pads in the right joystick position. You're free to customize it any way you like after that though. I currently use the Xbox 360 gamepad layout, subbing in a PS3 joystick for the left stick, and a PS3 d-pad in the d-pad slot. What I also REALLY liked was that the FUNCTIONS of the controller are tied to the module. Let me explain. When I swap D-pad and joystick positions on this controller to play Uncharted, that doesn't mean that I'm controlling Drake with a D-pad and selecting weapons with a joystick. The controller intelligently maps the functions to exactly what I was expecting: Top-Left Joystick position controls movement, Bottom-Left D-pad controls weapon switching. It works beautifully.
REVERSE TRIGGER MODE WORKS AS ADVERTISED
This, along with the control modules, was the big one for me. When I saw that CES demo, visions of playing the Uncharted games or Killzone 3 with a controller setup that I got used to playing Halo, Gears of War and Call of Duty on danced through my head. I just prefer the feel of the Xbox 360 controller for this generation of consoles, ESPECIALLY for first person and third person shooters. This controller came through in fulfilling my vision. I caught myself playing 3 hours of Uncharted 3 when I meant to only test games 20 minutes apiece because everything just felt so "right" to me now. Killzone 3 also was a highlight; I'm going to definitely go back to that game now.
FACE BUTTONS ARE WELL MADE
The iconic Sony Square, X, Triangle, Circle face buttons feel great; not too mushy, not too firm, and not "clicky". They don't feel cheap, which was a major concern of mine. Most third party controllers don't make the extra effort to make the face buttons feel good like console manufacturers do: This one does.
CONTROLLER FEELS SOLID, GOOD BUILD QUALITY
This is just one of those things that you "feel". It definitely feels like a quality piece of hardware and has some heft. The nice thing is that it actually has modular magnetic weights, in case you want your controller to feel a little heavier or lighter. The detachable controller cord is also very heavy duty, with a mesh sleeve and a heavy-duty screw-on connector.
MAGNETIC CUSTOMIZABLE FACE PLATE
If you're into that sorta thing. It's neat, but not one of the driving forces for my purchase.
***CONS***
D-PAD QUALITY NOT UP TO PAR
Ugh, really? This is probably my biggest disappointment with this controller. If there's one thing that has majorly annoyed me about this console generation, it's that the D-pad quality (ESPECIALLY on the Xbox 360!) is awful. Unfortunately, these d-pad modules follow suit. The PS3 d-pad that comes with this controller is DEFINITELY not as good as the Dual Shock 3's, while the 360-style d-pad is slightly better than Microsoft's stock d-pad. Sadly, this leaves you in a bit of a lurch when it comes to most fighting games and other sidescrolling games (like platformers and other indie games on PSN). I tried playing Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition and it was awful. I had the 2 d-pads set up side by side on the left so I could directly compare them. The 360 one was just as bad as ever (seriously, why even put this one in the box) while the PS3-style d-pad was "Ok". But I'd much rather use a real dual shock (or better yet, a FightStick) to play Street Fighter with. At least Mortal Kombat played pretty well, but that's because I think that fighting game is very "tappy". Maybe Tekken would have been good too. I don't know, I'm not a Tekken fan. Yeah, yeah, you should get a joystick if you're going to seriously play fighters, but you know what? When you spend $100 on a gamepad controller, I think it should do everything well. Maybe this problem can be corrected with better D-pad modules? I don't know. I hope so.

Maybe on average 13 feet will be enough for people. Unfortunately, it was about 3 feet shy for me. I had to use a USB extension cord. Madcatz has said they will offer longer cords, but that's going to be more money on top of a $100 controller. Just get a USB extension cable if you came up short, like I did.
SHOULDER BUTTONS FEEL CHEAP
It stands out in stark contrast to the rest of the controller's build, but the shoulder buttons are VERY "clicky" and don't feel very solid. The right bumper got a little better (had to break it in?) after about 7-8 hours of game testing.
FACE BUTTON ANALOG WONKINESS
As good as those face buttons feel, I can't tell if they have analog functionality like the Dual Shock 3s. If they do, they're overly sensitive or something. The easiest game to test this on is Metal Gear Solid 3 (now conveniently repackaged in a PS3 HD collection!). When you are aiming a gun in MGS3, you can slowly release the button to release lower the weapon without firing. If you have an enemy solider in a chokehold, you can also either firmly press the button to slit their throat or you can slowly let the button go to safely release them. I could not replicate either of these actions on this controller. So, buyer beware if some of your favorite games use the analog nature of the face buttons.
***OTHER NOTES***
These aren't deal breakers to me, but they might be to some people, so I thought I would list them.
-The controller's shape is clearly modelled more after an Xbox 360 controller. People who are in love with the shape of Sony's Dual Shocks might be disappointed.
-The controller has no vibration functionality.
-The controller has no motion control Sixaxis functionality.
-The controller is not wireless. MLG and Madcatz stated that they wanted to eliminate lag for competitive reasons. It doesn't bother me, but it might for some people.
-You can't turn the system on by pressing the home button, even when it's plugged in. Probably because it's not wireless? I'm not sure.
There may be more cons than pros, but the pros are HUGE in my opinion. I no longer have to worry about using a controller I don't like to play PS3 shooters, or opt for the 360 version of a game just because of a controller preference. However, $100 is a LOT of money for a controller. When you're spending that much money, it's justified to demand perfection. So this controller isn't for everyone. I will definitely keep on using it though, especially for action & shooting games. The things I would like to see improved are a GREAT D-pad module so you can play fighting games and other old school games on it, and maybe a way to customize/swap out the face buttons. Other than that, this is a great start for Madcatz and they continue to impress me with their new approach to controller manufacturing.

I really want to like this controller. Build quality is much better than I expected, even at the premium price. The thing just feels solid. I play on both consoles, but more so on the PS3, so the feel of the controller isn't as awkward to me (although a dual shock user may feel differently). Being able to change the layout to my preference is a pretty nice feature (I currently have it in a PS3 layout with a mix of analogue sticks). Buttons feel like OEM, triggers are good, bumpers are clicky (kinda loud actually). The texture on the rear is nice and grippy. And the weight system just adds to the solidness. As others have stated, the PS3 style d-pad is not as responsive as the 360 style d-pad (not a big deal in most fps), hopefully they'll address this in future add ons. Now, my only real issue so far...
The analogue sticks. This is the main reason this controller peaked my interest. Having gone through countless dualshocks (about 5 in 3 years), it was always the same issue. Too much sprinting in COD created a groove on the shaft of the left joystick which eventually lead to sticky movement and eventual failure of the L3 button. I've tried to replace them with another product called modsticks which are really great as they are machined from aluminium, however they really start to hurt your thumb after long gaming sessions. So now I have this controller. The analogue movement feels good and the click response is solid. It doesn't seem like it will have the same issue with the shaft, and if it does wear down it can be replaced. My only issue so far is adjusting to the sensitivity. Maybe they just need to be broken in, but they're not as loose as a stock ds3 controller, so it has somewhat affected my accuracy. I can't seem to compensate for it through the sensitivity settings in game either (usually play at 5, dropped down to 3-4 but it's still throwing off my game). I'll keep playing for now and see how it goes, I know I can adjust, but the process is frustrating.
For all those who are hating on Madcatz for their reputation, this controller does not apply. If you've had a chance to play with a tournament edition fight stick, you'll know that they are capable of producing quality.

The design of this controller is very good, however I have a few issues with the controller to date:1) The D-Pad has issues with mispresses. I can sometimes be pressing up and it accidentally presses up + left or up + right. Happens with the PS3 and Xbox style gamepad components. It has caused me to lose battles in BF3 because this can switch you to your secondary slots by mistake.
2) My R shoulder button broke after a week of use (mushy instead of clicky when pressed). This is key to using the PS3 pad, as that is my main fire button. Unfortunately, I have had to send it back to Mad Catz to be fixed under warranty.
Otherwise, the controller feel and precision is great. I do find that there is an improvement over the standard PS3 pad once you get used to it, but these nagging problems with the controller (d-pad and broken buttons) force me to give a detrimental score to it.
Beware Mad Catz has not worked the bugs out of this controller yet. And I am going on a month and a half now of waiting for my repaired controller to be sent back to me. I will certainly come back and revise my review if Mad Catz fixes the issues with this device. I am also surprised that MLG would put its name on a controller when clearly it isn't up to MLG high standards.
I first learned of this controller in an issue of Game Informer and since went on a little fact finding mission, reading and watching several reviews. After some long thinking, I decided to purchase it and to my dismay it was not what I expected.
The MLG PRO controller is just another run of the mill 3rd party controller.
Sure it offers the option to swap out your sticks and DPAD to your liking, but that does not make up for the fact that this a 100 dollar controller that does the same job as a 20 dollar one (POWER A PRO ELITE.)The controller itself feels nice in your grip and actually manages to get you thinking it's a quality product, but the second you start to play with it, it becomes apparently clear what a mediocre product it is.
In my first few hours with it I noticed perhaps the biggest fault in this for a lack of better words; rip off. The analog sticks in this thing are actually very sensitive and have no dead zone which is a nice and rare thing to find in a 3rd party controller, however while they don't have the deadzone issues of other controllers it manages to have an even bigger problem; stiff analogs. The analogs on this controller are stiff to no end and even after a month of use (Normal time it takes me to break a controller in) I have made no progress in loosening them up. Thanks to this issue playing games like Call of Duty MW3 is out of the question. Any attempt I made to play online with it ended in frustration as the game became a jittery mess thanks to the controller. Aiming is hard enough with a regular controller but with the MLG PRO it's going to become a chore to simply hit someone right in front of you. I have given this controller nearly 2 months of use and i can honestly say it is not getting any easier to play with it. I wish the story were a different one, but it's not.
At 100 dollars, this product needed to perform beyond my expectations, but it failed to do so. The game I needed this controller for, I can't play with it effectively making it a pointless purchase. It makes me wonder why MLG would put their name on this shoddy product when I can't see anyone, let alone a pro using this in any kind of serious competition.
I lost 100 dollars on this, don't do the same. Save yourself the disappointment and money and stay away from this over priced, under performing, mediocre P.O.S.

Today's Bonus:
For a cricket fan like myself, this game is a huge relief. Now first let me start by informing you guys that this game is shipped from UK where they use the PAL video output format. Here is USA we use the NTSC format. Simply put if you want to play this game in USA you need a HD TV and a HDMI cable.
I was unable to play the game at first, and on doing some research regarding the error displayed by my PS3 I found out that I need a HD TV and a HDMI cable. I did recently buy a 3D TV and bought a couple of cheap HDMI cables online. But that did not help. I was about to return this game but out of sheer luck I decided to try one of those expensive HDMI cables. I got the SONY HDMI cable($34.00) and I was indeed able to play the game. The graphics are good, commentary is very nice.
All in all 4 out of 5 stars for this game. Hopefully EA sports will follow suit.

Seems like there aren't too many options out there for cricket games. Was really excited for this game, got it in Terminal 3 at Heathrow Airport.NOTE: THIS GAME IS IN THE PAL FORMAT. HERE IN THE USA WE USE NTSC. IN ORDER TO PLAY THIS GAME IN THE USA YOU NEED AN HD TV AND AN HDMI CABLE. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GAME IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THOSE COMPONENTS.
Solid game, has all of the forms of cricket (Twenty20, ODI, and Test). The Australian and the English National teams have the actual players and kits. For the other ODI nations, the names bear a vague familiarity to the actual players, but they are all misspelled. The mechanics and the interface for the game is very intuitive and you can get used to it very quickly. This is a game that once you figure out how to play it, it becomes kind of boring because there is no way that the AI can beat you, even with the difficulty at hard.
The graphics are OK, but compared to the graphics of other sports games(American Football, Soccer, Basketball, etc.), International Cricket still has a lot of room for improvement. In general, the game is a solid start, but needs to be a LOT more work put into it to bring it up to comparison to other sports games.

I've had "International Cricket 2010" for about a week now and just love it. I think its the best cricket video game I've played so far; the only other game I've played was Cricket 07 for PC. My computer crashed and was too lazy to reinstall Cricket 07. Plus, I wanted a better game and a console game, so I searched the web and stumbled upon IC 2010. I originally saw it on Amazon's UK site so I kept looking and happily saw the US site had it as well. I ordered it right away and it came before the expected arrival date, which is always a plus. Before I talk about the game, I want to reiterate what other people have commented on: Even though PS3's are region free, you need to have your PS3 connected an HDTV via hdmi cable for games in PAL format, as IC 2010 is, to work. If your not, the game is not going to work, and your missing out on the real graphics power of the PS3. Just wanted to caution future buyers of this game, and other non-US games.
To the game. Like I've said before, the only other cricket video game I played was Cricket 07 on pc. This game was a big set up. The graphics are pretty good. Other people said they are crap. Well the games they are comparing it to, FIFA, NBA 2k, have a much, much, larger market! I own NBA 2k11 and I believe it's the best sports game I've played so far. However, basketball video games have a huge market and 2k sports has been working on their basketball series for years. I don't think Codemasters has been working on cricket video games as long as 2k sports has on its basketball games. And, since EA has stopped making cricket video games, 07 being the last one, there is no competition. Nonetheless, I believe IC 2010's graphics is on par with the average PS3 sports game, which is not a bad thing. The market will eventually grow cricket video games, and this issue will be a thing of the past.
Gameplay is great! It's fun and educational. When I was a child, I moved to parents home country and really got into cricket. However, when we moved back to the US, it was very hard to follow it, and lost touch of the game for about 10 years. I got back into cricket in the last 8-9 months, and this game is very helpful in learning the different bowling, batting, and fielding plays. IC 2010 has a number of tutorials for batting, bowling, and fielding, which could seem boring, but are very helpful in gaining knowledge on the sport, especially if your new to it.
The best thing about this game is that it's pretty challenging. That's one major problem I had with Cricket 07, it was too easy! You have to watching your timing and accuracy for both batting and bowling. Bowling is the hardest part of the game to pick up, I believe. When I first started playing, it was so hard taking wickets. As in real cricket, you have to vary your deliveries. I believe the difficulty with bowling show's how realistic this game is. The batting seems pretty realistic as well, but its no where as hard as bowling. The realism of this game is above par.
I only have 3 gripes with this game. The 1st one is a run out bug. It's happened to me in only 1 game I've played, but twice in that game. I was bowling, and the bowler grabbed the ball and threw them at the wickets. All of a sudden the AI took off and got run out! I was perplexed. Then it happened again a few overs later. I felt I got cheated in earning 2 wickets.
My 2nd gripe is that you can't go online. I don't know if this is because I am in the US. It sucks because I would have loved to see how I stand against online competition.
My last gripe was with the cricket board licenses. Codemasters only attained England, and Australia's. I wish they were able to get the licenses from all the test playing nations at least. Your able to edit players and change their names, so I searched the IC 2010 roster and found a list of the real names of the players from the other countries. I edited the names for players in most of the test playing nations. It's strange that they have their actual test career stats, at that time, but not their names. Most names are not too off from their real names, but it's annoying. Since their not "real" players, they get default appearances. The Australian and English players look like the real players, they did a great job on their facial features for these players. Since the other licenses weren't attain, the players obviously look nothing like the real players. But, they could of done a better job with it. For instances, some West Indies players that are of Indian descent have African features, and vice versa. I guess it could be they don't want to get sued or something, but still, at least get their race correct!
Overall, I truly enjoy this game. I wish I could play online, and all the licenses were attained. However, those are minute problems compared to the actual gameplay. This is a game everyone can enjoy, a newcomer to cricket or a veteran follower of the sport. I hope some of you find this review helpful in deciding to purchase this game.

My experience playing this game is decent. Don't have high expectations but for a cricket fan this is really a treat. PS3 users have been really blessed that this game work absolutely fine irrespective of PAL format.Pros:
Decent graphics
Batting: Good shot selection. You can play several shots in the area you intend to play.
Bowling: Swings/Cut deliveries are available. You can switch sides while bowling as well. Also you can change the field position according to your bowling strategy.
Fielding: Ready field settings are available to change and select the field quickly.
Grounds: There are many grounds available in this game, almost from all cricket playing countries.
Match type: Test and One day matches are available. Minimum you can bowl for 5 overs in a One day match.
Cons:
Batting (Spoiler): Even a yorker ball can be pulled or hooked to boundry till then you time your shot well. The animation for such a shot is horrible because of the way the ball bounces.
Batting (Spoiler): To hit fours and sixes to a fast bowler, just hit the loft button as soon as he delivers the ball from his hand. They could have made it better.
Online gaming: Good that online gaming is available but you won't find any sessions to play with.
This game works well in USA though is of PAL format. I am playing on Sony Bravia HD LCD TV using HDMI connection. I am using AmazonBasics HDMI cable for connecting my PS3 to my TV. Also have tried MediaBridge HDMI cable and the game works absolutely fine with either.
For a Cricket fan this game is a must. You won't regret buying this game.
