I had SF4 on my xbox a while ago, but my brother got rid of it. Several years later I bought a gaming pc and decided to pick this up on pc. The game is just as good as the xbox version, even though there are much less people playing online, it doesn't really matter since you can just turn on fight requests and have people fight you. One thing that I am not a fan of is the absurd amount of lag in online mp. I don't know if it's my connection or the people that I'm playing with, but their latency will be either 0 or 1 bar (out of 5).
Beyond that there is nothing else to complain about. I know that most people aren't fans of Games for Windows LIVE, but personally I don't mind the service and it hasn't presented any problems to me yet. If you plan on buying this game on pc I would highly recommend an xbox controller or a gamepad of some sort, this game was not meant to be played with a keyboard.My girlfriend and I play this game and have a great time. My niece and nephew love it too, so I'd say very popular with kids and adults.
